I had my car service for the anti theft update back on March 31,2023. On August 7, 2023 my car was stolen, I contacted Kia Care and I explained that I got the update and my car was still stolen, my doors were locked and I had both key fobs in the house. I was instructed to send police report and pictures and I have done so. I was then told my case is under review and I would be contacted about potential reimbursement once the investigation is complete.
I’m not understanding why there needs to be an investigation when there is clearly a police report! I was in Mississippi when my car was stolen and had to get a rental from
My insurance company to get back to Michigan
Next week I will be at my max for the insurance to pay for the rental and I will be with out a car until my car is fixed. I reached out again to Kia care to notify them that my rental has to be returned and if I could get an update on my case I was told I would have to pay out of pocket for a rental and save my receipt and I could potentially be reimbursed for the rental.
I just started a new job so I don’t have the funds to pay for a rental that I potentially won’t get reimbursed for and I can’t afford to miss any days at work since it’s a new job.
I have been a customer of Kia since 2006
And this is my third Kia I have purchased, I raved about Kia to friends and family and how they take care of their customers.
Some of my friends and family own Kia’s because of me saying how great they are.
It’s so unfortunate to be put in this situation after being a customer for so long!
Desired outcome: I would appreciate a response, it will be a month on 9/7 that I have been without my carI would like to be reimbursed for pain, stress and suffering
