KIA Motors Car service at Dealership

To whom it may concern,

On April 4th my boyfriend was installing rock lights on my tire wells and he wanted to run the wires underneath the car and when he drilled up thru the floorboard he drilled thru the wire harness which caused numerous things not to work on my 2020 Kia Forte so April 7th I took my car to Fort Walton Beach Kia Dealership! This job will cost me 3500 dollars! I told them to hold on and I would get back with them cause I had to ask my boyfriend if he was going to pay for it cause I'm a single mom and I couldn't afford it! So I tried calling the service tech April 7th, 8th and 9th of April to tell him to go and order the wire harness! Brad us the service advisor and I didn't get a hold of him till April 12th Monday ! I asked Brad did you order the part and he said no I was waiting to hear from you! I told him I left messages to the voicemail and with a person at the service desk and no one called me! Realize this my car has been at the dealership since April 7th!
So Brad told me he would order the part and it would take 3-5 days to get the part and 2 days to install it which I was fine with that! Monday April 19th I tried calling Brad to see if my part came in and I didn't get a hold of him till Tuesday April 20th he said the part should be there by April 21st Wednesday so I'm thinking my car should be done by Friday boy was I wrong!
Monday April 26th I called several times and the 7th time I called I told the lady that answered the phone I'm having an issue getting someone from the service department do she walked herself to the service department to have Brad call me. Brad calls me at 2pm and tells me that they started to take the interior out ! Today April 28th I borrowed my boyfriend's car and went to the dealership I found out that they were halfway done and it may be done on Thrusday or the latest Friday! Today makes 3 weeks without a car! I been taking my bicycle back and forth to work! I'm a single mom and I couldn't afford a car rental and I haven't been able to go to my second job! In 3 weeks I have lost my other source of money!
I will never trust this dealership again! If I need service again I will have to take my car 50 miles to another Kia dealership which that will cause me gas and my time!
I'm tired of hearing that Brad is short handed and he has a lot on his plate! Theres plenty of salespeople standing around to at least call the customers back!
I bought this car in September of 2020 and if would have known about the crappy car service I wouldn't have bought it!
I'm about to ask you to buy this car back and I'm going to go back to Chevy!
I understand about the short help cause there is short help everywhere but not to call me to inform me about my car!
I would like to know what can Kia do to fix this problem for me?

KIA Motors hybrid battery - out of stock 2 months now

My hybrid battery failed on my 2016 Optima. Kia does not have this battery in stock and I've been told first it would be 30 days to receive the battery. Now I'm being told it will take another 2 months. The dealership has had my car since March 10th, ive had to rent a car due to this delay. This is completely unacceptable that a company as large as Kia can't keep parts in stock on a 2016 model.

Desired outcome: Kia needs to pay for the repair since they are making me wait this long

KIA Motors Delivery of my vehicle (kia sportage)

I had booked my vehicle and it supposes to be delivered during the month of March. Whenever I follow up with the dealer, he doesn't have a clear picture. Maybe it will come by next week. But I am not getting my vehicle although I had paid the full amount of money by January. This is an unacceptable and ridiculous experience with KIA. I had sold my old vehicle that I will get new KIA Sportage and now I have nothing in my hand. No one is bothering to contact us as well. Is there any solution?

KIA Motors Delay in Delivery of Car

I booked my Kia carnival in Feb from Kia Motors Clifton, Karachi, Pakistan based on the commitment that it will be delivered in Mid April and subsequently PBO was issued with April delivery date, when i called in 1st week of April to check the status, i was informed that delivery date of my car is changed and now it will be deliver in May end which is also not confirmed, reason mentioned that since this is a CBU therefore delay in logistic and delivery date is extended from Kia Motors Korea.
I am existing customer of Kia Sportage and very impressed with the commitment and service of Kia motor but this incident completely changed my perception about kia motors and it seems that they are following the footsteps of previous manufactures with no focus on genuine buyers rather allowing dealers to sell cars on extra money to investors while delaying deliveries of actual buyers. I checked with another dealer in Karachi they are selling Kia carnival on extra money of PKR 2 lakhs which means there's no delay in delivery of car. I expect Kia motor will take appropriate action and ensure delivery of car within April as committed, looking forward for a positive response which will show how much kia motor is concern about the customer experience and satisfaction

KIA Motors Catalytic Converter Recall

We own a 2014 KIA Soul, in 2019 there was a recall of the catalytic converter. When the recall was first announced we were able to get it replaced. Now, two years later almost to the day, the catalytic converter has gone out a second time and KIA has refused to replace it. If KIA is aware of the recall and the part was replaced, then why would they not replace it again or at least offer some kind of reduction with the repair.

Desired outcome: Replacement of the part for free or provide so sort of discount for the repair.

KIA Motors Failed engine at just 100k on the odometer

Despite doing regular oil changes my 2013 Kia Soul needs a new engine at only 101, 404 K on the engine! At a Kia dealer, I was first accused of not doing oil changes - until I produced all the receipts. then I was shown no sympathy from them and told the cost to replace the engine would be $6000! For a very well-maintained engine to die at 100k is a disgrace and I will never purchase a Kia product again. I feel cheated, ripped off, and plain repulsed at how junky my Kia is---besides the engine - here goes:
Heated seats needed to be replaced
The front door sensor has to be duct-taped to shut the door ajar light off
The console lights must be off or they drain the battery
The front windows do not open when the temperature drops below 0 - really bad in a Canadian winter - cannot order at a drive-through
The radio cuts in and out
The volume controls on the steering wheel sometimes do not work

Desired outcome: just take the responsibly for the terrible engine and replace it or pay for a rebuild

KIA Motors Hybrid battery warranty replacement

My 2016 Kia Optima Eco Hybrid has been at the dealership since 2/6/21 waiting on a new battery (warranty issue). How is this possible that a dealer can have a vehicle for 2 months on a warranty issue? Every time I call to get an update the delivery date changes. 2 MONTHS! its been there and nothing. Thankfully I do have a loaner however I am spending more money filling up and the longer I have it the longer something with that vehicle is bound to happen and I'll be on the hook for as explained by the dealership.

KIA Motors Warranty issue

I am filing a complaint on your warranty policy. I bought a 2016 Kia Sorento in December of 2016. I took it in for service on March 31, 2021. There is a problem with the rear half of my exhaust system. I was told that the warranty was out on that part because the part was from 2015 which means it was not under warranty.. If i bought a 2016 then the warranty is for 5 yrs which would expire in December 2021. Please explain to me how this is legal or logical. I really just need this resolved as I was told this would be a $1976 repair job. Please respond asap

KIA Motors Recall and car fire

I purchased a new 2013 Kia Forte Koup that has 10yr warranty, my car went on fire out of nowhere 2/10/2021 and is totaled. Two days after that I am getting emergent recalls in the mail regarding engine and possible fires. Dealership will not deal with this at all, Kia consumer assistance started my case but 2 months later they have not gone to inspect my vehicle they do not respond to phone calls or emails. They have not offered a rental or loaner and I am without a car. I have had to deal with their computer systems down for almost 2 weeks, one representative told me from day one they will take care of this do not worry we will get you in a car and inspect your vehicle. Demanded to speak with a supervisor after weeks who was not sympathetic at all was rude and laughed at me. Still no car no rental no inspection on my burnt car. KIA Motors 2015 Kia Forte LX

Just bought this car 2015 Kia Forte LX in Jan 2021. Had a small test drive around the block where I bought it at. Four weeks later the car has loss of acceleration when driving slow through a parking lot trying to get out onto the street. You have to step on it to get it to go, almost got hit a couple of time because of it. Took it to the Dealer and they ran a diagnostics on it came up showing nothing just need a new gas cap. The car also idles sluggish like it want to stall out. Where I work at it has a steep hill to drive out onto the street, you have to floor it to get it to go. There are a lot of semi trucks on this street, and again almost got hit. I will never buy a Kia again. Wanted to buy a Toyota which I had in the past. I did some research on this kind of car and I saw someone else had the same problem. I wish someone would let me know what is causing this problem, so I can get it fixed before I get killed.

KIA Motors Service of a Sales representative

good day. My name is Lebogang Mahori and I purchased my 2015 Kia rio in November 2020 at Kia Ranburg Strydom park. This is my first car and i made sure i tell the sales rep who seemed very helpful until i realized it was just to attain the sale and leave me stranded. The sales rep sold me the car when he did not do roadworthy, the car was in someone's license plate and name when he told me it was entirely mine and had me sign for the contract. he then calls me on the 8th of March 2021 to tell me that I need to bring the car in for roadworthy and even went as far as telling me that i am driving a car that by law isnt mine, which upset me because I am paying for this car. I was involved in a car accident and my bumper was hit badly so i had to replace that, which is did, i took the car in to the dealership and no one has bothered to correct Daniel for selling me a car that hadnt went to roadworthy. Now he tells me the roadworthy failed as they want me to pay for a new light that was hit during the accident and get a new tyre . I am very disappointed as I just learned that the car was supposed to be roadworthy before he could sell it to me but it wasn't. Now i have to buy new things for something that couldve been avoided had he followed the right process. I dont have my car, It isn't roadworthy and your sales rep doesn't care. please help, i have tried calling, emailing and even tried social media but no one cares. I am going to report him

KIA Motors Paint-clear coat

I have a 2018 Kia Sportage and noticed the clear coat coming off the Rear bumper and its getting worse by the day. I went to my local dealership and they examined the spot and then I was told I have to call customer service. Service department was very nice and proceeded to tell me that my paint warranty expired last year. I was in disbelief that a 3 year old car has clear coat paint peeling off the rear bumper. The body shop in the dealership estimated over $700.
I called your "customer service" phone [protected], case number [protected]. Since filing this complaint, I have called several times and keep getting told the computers are down and they can't help me. This went on for 3 weeks. I reached out to Coral Springs Kia which is my local dealer. I sent an email to their big boss of the 5 store auto mall, Jack or JJ who proceeded to push me off to some girl named Tallia. I was told I would get a call back and that was 3 weeks ago. NOBODY has called me. I'm being blown off and I don't appreciate that.

I have owned multiple cars that were a lot older than 3 years and never ever had a problem with clear coat or paint peeling.

Please help me resolve this issue. It's $700 and I believe, regardless of a warranty, that Kia should make the repair. 3 year old cars shouldn't have paint peeling off.

I'd appreciate not getting pushed off again and you all repairing this problem.

KIA Motors oil change payments in car note

I purchased a 2015 Kia optima in 2015 with the option of pre paid oil changes
within the car payment, I was able to receive 1 oil change and then the dealer ship closed which was Kia Depot 909 N. Grand Ave Santa Ana Ca 92701.
Once they closed the dealership in Garden Grove is where I would take my car for service they wouldn't uphold the service agreement because it wasn't made through them, neither would Kia of Cerritos. So I've been paying out of pocket as well as paying for the service which was added and being paid for in my monthly car note to this day. I would like for my contract to be paid up till I can remove or adjust my payments

KIA Motors Peeling snow white pearl paint

I have a 2013 Kia Sorento bought brand new. It has peeling paint that started above the windshield. Now rusting and continues to peel worse. It has now started on two of the doors. I've noticed numerous sorentos on the road and only the white ones have this problem. Was told it could be fixed but would cost a lot. And could continue in other areas. I love my sorento, but it looks like a cheap vehicle now. There are numerous complaint about this certain paint peeling from numerous people. I need this fixed and KIA said I am out of warranty, so it's my problem. Not good customer service from a brand I should behind for years. If you look close in the picture of the back nesr kia symbol you see the crack and rust starting there. But also rust flakes in the paint.

Desired outcome: I want my vehicle re painted.

Vehicle paint seems to be changing all over my vehicle from snow white pearl to a muddy white. Rust flakes are coming through paint all over the place.

KIA Motors Windshield in 2021 kia soul bought 1 week ago

I have contacted Bill Dodge Kia, I have a 1 1/2 ft long scratch in the surface of my new Kia Soul. They won't fix it, says it creates more issues in the windshield. They told me to put a claim in on my insurance on a brand-new car. It is not under warranty from what they said.
I need help or I am going to blast all over Facebook what lousy carmakers KIA is.
