Lewaqai I am from Vatukoula Fiji I had receive the same text message that you have with the same amount and I didn't send any contest, what about you? Did you send any? and also they gave me the phone no. to call?
I don't know may be they just want us to send some amount of cash? That what also happen in emails.

I also received the same text message today stating my mobile number has won 497, 000 GBP and a KIA RIO 2010 model car. For claims I have to call this number [protected] or email to kia_motors@winning.com.
To see whether this is true I have send an email and received a reply 2 hours later asking me to fill in the form with all my personal details, etc. They say I have to reply within 24hours. I just leave it as it is as I think it is a scam after searching the web. The person even post his picture as Dr ...

Firstly, did you enter any competition? If you didn't, then it's a scam. Do NOT ANSWER any texts or emails you get, from people you don't know saying you've won something. Ignore them or you will lose money. Also, please remember not to post your personal details (name, address, phone number or email address) on public websites like this, otherwise scammers will use your email address and send you more emails designed to trick you. Also watch out for scammers pretending there was a problem with the text (saying things like those who entered got their email accounts hacked), and giving out false email addresses for you to 'check' with. Don't check. Simply ignore the whole thing. But please DO post the telephone numbers and/or email addresses of the people that sent you those messages, so you can warn other people, and to help police catch them.
