KIA Motors spare key not delivered

On the 24th May this year I bought a kia ceed 1 litre car, registration number DL69YJW from acorn kia dealership, marshfield Bank Employment park, middlewich rd in crewe [ postcode CW28UY]
The sales assistant informed me that the spare key was to be posted to me within 2 weeks.
This information was written on the invoice.
However i have still not received the key.
sales assistant paul woodier retired soon after that date so phil jones dealt with the query.
i have spoken to him on numerous occasions and every time he confirmed that the key was on its way. within 2 weeks.
I rang a sales assistant this monday past who stated they would pass the message onto Phil Jones.
He has not contacted me since.
I feel that because the sale has been completed that I am being ignored and no longer relevant.
Ordinarily I choose a vauxhall car but bought one of the kia range on the recommendations from my father, sister and brother in law who all drive kia cars. .
I know spare car keys are expensive to replace from experience and disappointed with the service from kia.
I would be pleased if you would expedite the process of sending my key as I didnt expect to be treated like this.

KIA Motors Selling a car with no repair parts

April 2021 I bought a 2021 Kia Soul brand new and paid cash. July 1 a deer hit my car, no fault of mine, and car was towed to repair shop Safford Collision in Salisbury Maryland. Repairs were done fast, but then I was told one KIA part was needed and car could not be driven without it and it was on back order 'indefinitely' from Kia. When my insurance followed up with Kia they were told the part was not yet even made and that KIA had sold the car knowing the part was not made or in stock and I would just have to suck it up and rent a car until they bothered to make it. So they sold me a car they did not have replacement parts for! I spent money on 2 weeks of car rental that only, ONLY were as a result of Kia not making the part and I want reimbursement.

KIA Motors 2013 kia optima recalls

When I first got this 2013 kia optima, I was in love with right away. It had the best pick up and go power and is kinda sporty. This last 2 years I have had over whelming recalls on it. I no longer feel safe driving something with that many issues and really upset for the way I been treated during the recalls. I was hoping for kia to pay the car off and put me in something different but I'm figuring that won't happen and I'm trying not to file a lawsuit for issues that kia manufacturing made and put me through. I had a uncle who was badly sick and I wanted to go see him and couldn't because a recall on my car. I would hope someone can call me back [protected], I really do like kia vehicles, I just don't feel safe driving this one anymore and after seeing how many complaints on the same car as mine, I seem to not be the only one.

Desired outcome: For kia manufacturing to pay this car off

YOUR NOT THE ONLY ONE, i BOUGHT A used KIA OPTIMA 2013. THIS CAR HAD 120000 ON IT. DROVE IT A MONTH AND A WEEK THE ENGINE FAILED. NO WARNING UNTIL I HEARD A LOUD KNOCK THE POWER WAS FAILING ENGINE LIGHT STARTS FLASHING PULLED OVER. DIAONSTIC WAS DONE AND THEY TOLD ME I NEED AN ENGINE. REALLY? I FEEL FOR YOU. CARLESS AND FEELING TOOK. WHO HAS $5900.00 which is what mechanic tells me it cost to have a used engine NOT NEW BUT USED. to replace my failed engine. I too don't want to go through legal complications I just need a car badly. MY PROBLEMS HAVE JUST BEGUN.

KIA Motors 2013 Kia Optima Snow White paint.

I purchased my car new. My car is garage kept. My paint started peeling off in 2017. Dealer and Kia will do nothing about it. It's their bad product! I'm disgusted and will never buy another Kia. This car was my 4th Kia vehicle. 20 years ago I had purchased a used GMC Sierra truck blue and silver. The car was 10 years old when I got a recall from GMC for car to be repainted as the silver paint was delaminating. GMC stood by their paint, their product. Why doesn't Kia?

KIA Motors 2011 Kia Sportage with 58,ooo miles

It has been a great SUV but now it will just shuts down all the electric. It won't let any electrical functions work. Won't let starter kick in, no radio, no door locks. Nothing electrical works. No one can find the problem. Does your company know what is wrong? I will buy another new Kia, but not if this can't be fixed. What if this only had 5, 000 miles and this problem occurred?

Hello and respect,
Dear Kia manager, I live in Iran and I am a fan of your products and I bought a 2010 Kia Cerato car. My car has not been turned on for about a month and the authorized dealer of Kia Motors has not been able to solve the problem so far. I agree that my country is under political sanctions, but I am really facing a big problem. Please help me if there is a way.
And my question is, what could be the problem if the car does not turn on ?

Engine failure getting runaround on my reimbursement of $4000. Paid in 2019. I was told not on recall then received recall letter in January 2021. I submitted all requested documentation and asked for additional compensation. I was told should get my reimbursement by July 2021. I am now told still under review and could be another 3 months. UNACCEPTABLE. PLEASE HELP

KIA Motors Complaint regarding non provision of vehicle picanto a/t

With reference to the above mentioned subject, the undersigned, Dealership Code 1081 PBO Number KMCD 3400774 has booked PICANTO A/T PMD 998cc through MCB Bank Khayaban e Itehad Branch, Hyderabad Pay Order No.[protected] dated 01-04-2021 amounting to Rs.2, 054, 000/- and amounting to Rs.35000/- in cash total Rs.2, 089, 000/- according to Federal Government (Industries and Production) policy for Automobile companies that if a customer booked a vehicle then company have to make sure the delivery of vehicle under 60 days if the period exceed from 60 days company have to pay KIBOR (7.45%) markup to the consumer.

2, 089, 000 x 7.45% (KIBOR RATE) x 120days (four Months) / 365 (days of year) = Rs. 51, 166/-

2. In this connection, the undersigned has booked a car PICANTO A/T PMD 998cc since 01-04-2021 more than 120 days have passed but still the car is not delivered to me due to this the company is liable to pay KIBOR amount (RS. 51, 166/-) from 01-04-2021 up-to date to me. Moreover in the financial budget year [protected] the government has removed federal excise duty (FED) and additional customs duty (ACD) on locally manufactured cars so the Undersigned /customer has paid 2, 089, 000/- to KIA Motors Crossroads Hyderabad, Now KIA picante A/T car price has been reduced to Rs. 1, 931, 999.99/- still KIA Motors Crossroads Hyderabad have not returned my excess money of Rs 157, 000/- and KIA Cross roads Managers still cannot give me Order Number. KIA Motors crossroads Hyderabad Manager namely Mr. Faheem Ahmed is a negligent person, he is also not attending my phone calls and he has blocked my number, Mr. Faheem Ahmed and their sales marketing/ Executive official also not attending my phones and KIA Motors Crossroads Hyderabad performance is very bad they show attitude and always talk unfair language which is not suitable for a Manager and he has down the rating/ image in automobile market & also in customer mind and customers is also not satisfy from KIA Motors crossroads Hyderabad performance.
3. It is therefore, requested to your kind honor that my payment of KIBOR (120 days) of Rs. 51, 116/- plus My excess payment on Car Rs 157, 000/- Grand total RS 2, 08, 116/- may kindly be provided from Lucky Motors corporation limited (KIA Motors Crossroads Hyderabad) in favor of the undersigned and also strict directions may kindly be issued to KIA Motors crossroads Hyderabad for providing order book number to me and also provide me a KIA Picanto A/T car as soon as possible as I'm suffering a lot difficulty to run my business smoothly.

KIA Motors Service

Hi, I have been dealing with Kia of Boardman Ohio for many years and have bought multiple (2 the last time in 2017) cars from them. My current car has had to have tires replaced a couple of time, due to our area roads being horrible. The last time I had replaced all 4 and got the road service warranty. I recently, I say recently, it was 5-6 weeks ago. Got a small leak. I took it into Kia to get it repaired and was told it could not be repaired. Then I was told they would check on the replacement warranty. Now I have NEVER said I wanted the tire replaced for free. I know the drill. Kia had me come into measure the tread depth that first week. I waited about a week and called, I was told that they had not heard anything and would find out and call. I have now heard the same speech for 5-6 weeks, with the latest being today. I have had oil changes and replacement work done in the past and was always satisfied with there job. I have sent a written complaint into them today along with a phone call and have not heard anything back. They have lost my business, but I want my tire replaced and NOW I want it replaced for free as I have patiently waited and had to fill my tire up with air ever couple of days! Thanks for you help

KIA Motors Warranty on black chrome strips around window

Kia declined to replace the black chrome strips around my windows due to, according to them, normal wear and tear. The car is a 2020 stinger gt…the appraiser indicated it was faulty work and the strips were not sealed properly allowing them to start to oxidize. This is not acceptable in a car that is one year old and well taken care of. It is a problem that Kia should fix under the warranty. This is my 4th Kia and I loved my cars but will not buy again if they can't stand behind their product…plus they made me get two quotes for this $760…that is what they declined! They will lose a loyal customer over $760!

KIA Motors Pearl white 2015 kia sorento

I have case number [protected] but never had anyone contact me. My 2015 Pearl White Kia Sorento paint is peeling. This should not happen. I contacted the dealership where I purchased it from new, Wilson Kia Flowood, MS. They said they could not help me. I need Kia to step up and fix my Sorento. This is not a good look for Kia with this terrible paint job. Please help me.

KIA Motors Gross negligent service!

I got an engine replaced in April/May 2021. I complained to the BBB to get my car back, which was expedited after I made the complaint. I called to get a follow-up service on the vehicle because it was not driving right after the installation. I was told there was "NO" appointments for the place that replaced the engine (Kia Ft. Walton Beach), and a two month wait for the one closest to me (Kia Autosport of Pensacola). When they checked it they told me there was no problems whatsoever except maybe the tires needed balancing. I balanced the tires and still had the wobbling/shaking while driving. I just took it to get the front end checked and they stated that it needs a tie-rod, lower control arm and possibly the cradle has been damaged (the part that holds the engine).
I believe Kia Ft Walton dropped that engine or the vehicle while rushing to get the vehicle finished because of my complaint to the BBB. I have a picture of my vehicle with a broken front shroud a couple of days after I received it from the dealership for the repair. I am looking at immediate litigation unless someone contacts me to resolve this matter. I could have been killed!

Sooo I'm currently going through the same situation... my car broke down may 23rd got it back July 14th. They only want to pay me $600 in reimbursement when I have the black and white showing I spent 2000.74, I just want it back so I can pay of my credit help needed pleasecard.

At 5000 KM, I had a serious problem, I lost IVM-MODULE ASSY, valve-intake, valve-exhaust, the half cylinder head, and other parts .
For that, I come to you to help me.
i contact KIA france, and they refuse to include this problem in the warranty .
I spent lot of money to bought the new spare and i'm very disappointed

In reality Kia.España have made no attempt to strive towards this.

I purchased my Kia Sportage in September 2019, by June2021 the clutch had failed. Having many choices within my price range I decided that the Kia brands great reputation was the right choice. The car was a former showroom model with no kilometres .
1. I initially had problems driving to France from my home in Spain. On the 28th I went to a Kia garage in Saint Jean de Luz for help with problems with the clutch. They explained that they could not look at the car in detail for about a week but they let an engineer drive it to try and see what the problem was. After about ten minutes he returned saying he could not find a problem. I told the manager of my intention to drive to Paris and return via Barcelona, he thought that this should be no problem, which it wasn’t.
2. On the 6th July while travelling near home the cars clutch would not work causing me major stress and putting my family in danger. I managed to get home and arranged for a pick up truck to take the car to Lorca for it to be repaired. Although I was very distressed that the clutch had failed so early after my purchase I was nevertheless happy that the Kia warranty promises (which had been such a big part of the reason for buying) would make for a straightforward repair.
3. On the 14th I was told that the clutch was burnt out and that this was “wear and tear “ and therefore not covered by the warranty . I was not happy and challenged back.
4. After I challenged back I received a message saying that the clutch was now covered by a warranty but this was only for two years or 40000 km. The story had changed clearly because someone had realised that they could “hide” behind the fact that the car has done just over 41000km. I have pointed out that when I originally had a problem in France on the 28th it was well under 40000km. I have also supplied phone numbers and location details of the garage and the incident.
5. I have tried contacting Kia.com as advised but they as yet have not replied to any of my emails. Instead they choose to communicate through the Lorca franchise who are powerless to make any decisions themselves.

The fact that Kia head office in Spain are making zero effort to try and understand my frustration at being mislead by the my widely promised “7 year warranty “ choosing to hide behind loop holes instead, makes a complete mockery of a noble vision. It is what happens when big companies set out with great intentions but certain individuals within the group are unwilling or unable to join the journey. Frankly it is embarrassing.

I still have a hope rather than an expectation that you will do the right thing and compromise on this issue.

KIA Motors starter problem

Contents VIN KNAFK4A65G5568074 Mileage 54, 000 Wednesday 07 My wife drove to the grocery store and came out 5 minutes later and the car would not start. It was not a battery problem as a new battery was installed October of 2020. From what I know and from other mechanics it is a starter problem. Should be covered under warranty except I was told that it had expired in April. There is no way a car this new and this mileage should have a starter problem! I bought this car because KIA has a favorable reliability record. Guess this is not the case. My KIA dealership gave me a repair cost of $840.00. I strongly feel this is a factory defect and KIA should pay for the repair. I have had several different cars over the years with way more mileage and years on them and NEVER had a starter problem. We have several functions we were supposed to attend and now we don't have a car. Rental cars are outrageous and also none are available. All of this does not bode well with Me! Thank you for reading this and I hope you can restore my faith in KIA.

KIA Motors 2nd egine replacement that it didnt need

My son rj ravas leased a 2016 kia forte from fuccillo kia of clay at 35, ooo miles approximatley 1st engine went said my son did not change oil i first thought thats stupid of my son who was 19yo at the time so i lrt my 1st thought they were correct so about 7months later we get a call car is done and we can pick it up 3/21/18 its runs for another 30, oo0 miles it doesnt start so i think to myself i just put a thousand dollars in it for winter 2020/2021so we have towed to kia of clay ny this date is october 15, 2020 the car is still there we got it back for a couple of days it did the same thing it did when we dropped it off in october 15 2020 so right away i said they put an engine in that car for profit that day we returned it was april 2021 and i call dealership all the time they say it needs this or that and they wainting for parts the date today is july 22 2021 it still in same place in parking lot it was 3 weeks prior to today please help us please so total time 10 months of car insurance and payments to ally bank

I paid for a trailer hitch and wiring harness over a year ago, when I purchased this brand new car. I have now missed two summers because I can't pull my boat, due to no wiring harness. I was not told this until after I purchased, If I had know it wasn't available, I would not have gone through with the purchase. Have been told it was back ordered, then I was told it was recalled.

KIA Motors Pearl white paint on 2016 Kia Sorento

My 2016 Kia Sorento's pearl white paint is peeing suddenly and rapidly. There is no reason for the paint to peeling. From the research that I have done it appears to be an issue and common problem for the pearl white paint on Kias to start peeling. The car looks horrible and paint appears to be defective.

KIA Motors 2022 kia seltos

Car is 2 weeks old was in stop and go traffic alert on car transmission temp high car almost overheated
Called dealership answer by service is to pull over and let car cool down — not acceptable response. Then called and spoke to sales rep told me to bring car in next morning to check diagnostics
They tell me 5 hours later nothing wrong with the car but then tell corporate that its my fault due to the clutch in the car
The car is an automatic awd there is no manual clutch in the vehicle take responsibility for your issues as this isnt the 1st time we see this on the internet with the seltos line.
How dare you treat customers this way. Its insulting and unprofessional. You get in the car with children and try not worry about the issue happening again which is what your rep advised me to do. Again not a response that should be given not a single apology given nor was I given a rental or a option for one.

Desired outcome: RETURN THE VEHICLE AND WALK AWAY FROM KIA CANNOT BE TRUSTED
