master password help
I am trying to reset my master password in order to switch the email from my dad's to mine, as well as be in control of making purchases, as I am, at the time of writing this, eighteen years old. However, we have submitted a ticket to reset the password multiple times in the past two or more months and have yet to get a reply back. Any assistance on this matter would be most appreciated. It just makes me feel I am not a valued customer of KingsIsle Entertainment due to the fact I do not have an active subscription.
I got banned
I been a paying member for years I even have a 10 year muted account that I still payed for I work in new jersey and live in warwick ri so every day I I log in while I am working on both my accounts my brother is in collage and asked me to go on and do his plants so I did why wouldnt I its my brother and ki banned all off my accounts and my brothers account I even emailed them proof I had permission to go on mind you over the past 5 years I spent thousands on my accounts I had 2 seperate family shared accounts I emailed them I sent over 200 emails in the past 3 months and they never respond cause they dont give a [censor] about there paying members yet the free members come on and troll us swear at us and ki does nothing

Trolling/Harassing/Bullying/Threatening Individuals to Leave
Many gather in Commons, have for many years, meeting and talking with everyone about gear, quests, etc. There are people that harass/taunt/troll/bully so as to try to control the Commons and make (mainly adults) leave the Commons, change realms or quit the game.
We should not have to leave, change realms, quit, all because of these mean individuals.
Reports and emails sent, most with pictures of large mounts on top of someone and/or goes to others, too.
Try to enjoy the game and get harassed/bullied, is not a fun game.

hacking an account on wiz101
One more things about accounts that was hacked? Kingsisle is the only one who knows all passwords and all security password in all accounts. How can someone hack your account and change everything? Nobody else but just kingsisle. To get your account back you got to pay them a lot of money and same thing when it's banned they will ask you to pay them back also. To all players don't let kingsisle fool you all. They hacked and banned accounts so players will purchase more membership to kingsisle. That's how company gets you to rob you more so don't be stupid to this game!

automatic unauthorized charges to credit cards
Cancel all your credit cards and that is the only way to get your money back from kingsisle entertainment. Report all unauthorized charges done to the credit cards and dont do not waste your time calling or sending them e - mails because they still will answer you back to pay their company more money. If you will not cancel the credit cards trust me, you will get more unauthorized charges to your credit cards and it's so unreal how much money you will owe to pay kingsisle. This company is money hungry people. They will hook you up in the game and later on they will rob you all blind. I hope they shut down this company as soon as possible. They are rip off bunches of thieves!

Kingsisle will put you in deep hole charging your credit cards unauthorized. Stop playing the game cancel all credit cards that you used. They will keep charging doubles and large amount that you didn't purchase to the company. Not only wizard101 they will charge you also in pirate101 even you don't play the game. They banned your account to get it back you need to pay almost 500 dollars. Same with account is muted you are like in prison serving for 10 years to get it back. What goes around comes around hope they close this company and stop robbing people blind!

I was banned from a game called wizard101 and I been banned for the past 3 months I really miss my account.
I did not do anything wrong it was something about payment reversal they said they will not unban my account unless they recieve
Word from bank that the credit card is no longer on hold or I could just pay $15 dollars to them and I should do so my sending a check or money order, thing is I do not know how to do that. Can anyone pls help me with this and how do I get my account back?
KingsIsle told you how to solve this, cough up the bucks. I have heard this story before on various fan sites of the game, and paying them is your only option. They hold the account. If a credit card is not available to you, you might contact them to ask if gift cards could be used to pay the outstanding balance.
Master Password
WTF is Master Password I was going to upgrade my account and then it siad you need a master password. And I was all like wtf I never set up a master password and so i put in my account password and that did not work did someone hack my account does any one have the same problem/ compliant as me?

Yeah! I'm 13 years old and it won't let me have text chat because it still thinks I'm 12. It stinks! I also never remember getting a master password and when I said I forgot it and they said they emailed it to me, I never got an email. I feel weird when playing because everyone thinks I'm a little kid because I can't text chat.
Do a password recovery on the account. If you are unable to do this, use the contact button for assistance. If KI can help you they will, and problem is certainly solvable.
They didn't provide anything for free
I started to get different apps from the website www.wizard101.com. They offered free membership and a lot of for free, but after I agreed to their terms and conditions, these ### simply started to take different sums from me. I was furious and wanted to stop these fake charges, but the support team simply ignored all my emails. I was really disappointed and cancelled my card, but I couldn’t return my money back. The same happened to me except they restarted my membership without my permission and they aren't going to give the money back. lets start a lawsuit against them. they are thieves. i was recommending this game to everyone till now. i am going to start telling my friends, family and anyone who plays the game to stop playing until they give me my money back.
@fred gl with that I tried to get them to stop lieing on their advertisements that say you can play for free the game. By definition free to play means no fee to play the whole game from start to end game. 30 web links in random places later you find hidden on their site it is pay to play not free to play. I went to the BBB of their us location and was told "sorry we can't pressure them cause they have no usa base despite your research. They refuse to answer us due to not being a US company."

I think you work for them cause for me to find the page for "hey you gotta pay for every chapter" page i had to go through 27 pages to find it. why 27? cause it is not where it should be which is under store, membership, or the guide. in fact except for that page and the hidden faq page there is no mention of needing to buy the chapters to play. By definition free to play means you don't have to pay for anything to play the full game.
as for what she is saying i looked at that page and it doesn't mention it really well. it does mention continue membership will require you to pay for more time, but not you are auto renew.
@bell she stated she did cancel the account. which mean the monthly billing 10 months after is illegal. While the do state you cant get a refund, it doesnt show what about when they are at fault for illegal removal of funds.

THe company KingsIsle has been allowed to do a criminal offence. there is a law stating you can not false advertise. in their comercial for pirate 101, they state "Free to play no payment required cept for paid membership" in no way does this mean that i have to pay to play every chapter's access fee to play past the introduction chapter. YET they are allowed to pull this sham and steal money from people by false advertisement.

well hell sign me up thel because i just got insulted in Wizard101 for asking if I was the only that cared that it wasn't as free play as they advertised. Those poor brainwashed ###...also they have game characters jump, space bar makes your character jump, but yet you can't jump over things nor use it for anything and why even have the option to jump if it does nothing; okay i'm rambling but still... free play my ###! If you have to either pay to get crowns, or pay for membership than it is NOT free play! I've talked to people on their chat boards and you know what I get?! 'stop complaining there are at least 20 things you can still do while playing free!' WTF?! Really that was the extent of my response. Others actually gave me the list of at least 20 things and then I stated nowhere in that list says 'ability to do quests' or being able to complete the game and they blew me off. So yeah I went on their website and told them that they either amend their advertisment or I was going to get a team of attorney's that would be able to shred them apart in the court of law. It worked for a couple months but now the [censored]es have commercials on tv that state play free now! That was the ultimate screw you to a potential member and i say RIGHT BACK AT YOU!
Kingsisle can tell me they have been working on this game for 3 years all they want. It looks like it was hashed together over about 2 months. No 50 gear, no place to farm, No housing items, many, many quests just don't work.. Cool Ranch is way, way too long, travel times from wherever you are to where you are going are outrageous. I have time to go in the kitchen get a coke out of the fridge, eat lunch and return only to find I'm still not at my destination. I've gone to sleep at my computer waiting to arrive at my destination.
This game needs a complete makeover.

Okay, So I worked hard on getting to level 20, Bought loads of crowns JUST to unlock areas to get quests. So, When I finish, I got a quest to do something in an area I don't have access to. So, Instead I go ahead and try to do another quest; Go to Grizzleheim. When I try to go there, I need A LARGE AMOUNT OF CROWNS or MEMBERSHIP. I can't have any of those. I worked hard for nothing, So I call Wizard101 A SCAM. They just want money off of people! I would have NEVER of joined or spent money on it if I knew about this.

Wizard101 has a free to play area that you're invited to enjoy for as long as you want, however every school has a tuition. Just as you can't go past the lobby in a movie theater without buying a ticket, you can't go past Triton Avenue without getting a Membership or buying the areas with Crowns. We do not limit the time you can spend playing the game, but we do gate the areas you can access.
Remember, young Wizard, you can EARN your own Crowns!

JJ308, it is not quite as cut and dry as you are painting it. However, KI tends to skim emails, and automatically assumes that reports of hacking are kids that have given out their user name and passwords. You need to be aggressive with them (do not expect an intelligible response until your third email to them). This is a form of bullying that KI uses quite effectively.
The above comment from KingsIsle is a form letter sent out by support to anyone they want to ban for whatever reason. The first statement is obviously false, the accounts can and are being hacked. To state that an account cannot be hacked is wishful thinking and nothing more. I have seen several complaints and posts against the company these complaints mostly revolve around accounts that have recently been renewed for a one year membership and then get banned prior to the end of the first month. This appears to be some sort of scam they are running to attempt to increase revenue. I spoke with someone recently that had there son banned permanently when they reported that someone had hacked into their account when asked about it they same form letter as posted above was sent out. The individual who hacked the account was on their son's friend list and was making threatening comments that brought the boy to tears. When the boy reported it the company did not go after the hacker but banned the young boys account and claimed he had provided the password. I will let you make the judgement on the integrity of the company on your own.
The only way someone can access your account is if you've given out the password.

My grandchildren no longer plays this games and it has been billed to my credit card for about months. I want this game cancelled and I want a refund to my credit card.

it shouldnt even cost money to play the game. memberships should be for special items, so this is a pay to win game.
Improper billing and notification of purchases
According to the crown purchase history on wizard101.com, from 11/21/10 to 10/08/11, my son only made purchases in the amounts of $5.00 (2500 crowns) or $10.00 (5000 crowns) . At first, he always had to ask me for my credit card information and KingsIsle Entertainment would occasionally send me a confirmation of the purchase. Then, on 11/02/11 and 11/13/11, purchases showed up on the credit card assigned to his account in the amounts of $25.00 (13, 750 crowns) and $240.00 (3 x $80.00 [60, 000 crowns]). I've filed a complaint with the BBB, Visa, Michigan's attorney general and the PTA's in school districts around the state of Michigan to warn them about KingsIsle's practices: saving credit card information in minor user's accounts and not send confirmation receipts on every purchase.
Not retuning emails on a banned account and should have been lifted months ago, sent numberous emails.
unauthorized use of credit card
I cancelled my subscription earlier in the year and just got my credit card to find they had taken out another year's subscription! I tried calling the number displayed on the credit card beside the charge but it was useless. It just sent you back to their site to dispute it. I sent them an email informing them of the fraud on my card but haven't heard back yet.

Because I paid for my son to use Wizard 101 on a monthly basis, unbeknownst to me my Amex information was saved and he was able to to 4 transactions, resulting in a total of $50 worth of "crowns".
