Mixed Experiences with Kinguin: Proceed with Caution
After analyzing various reviews from different platforms, it's evident that Kinguin's reputation is quite polarized. While some customers have reported receiving their purchased keys promptly and at a lower cost compared to other platforms, there are significant concerns raised by others. Issues such as receiving used keys, lack of transparency regarding region information, and difficulties with customer support have been highlighted. It's crucial to approach transactions on Kinguin with caution and conduct thorough research before making a purchase. While there are positive experiences shared, the negative feedback raises valid concerns that potential customers should consider before engaging with the platform.
Great experiences with Kinguin everytime i have purchased
Have bought many a game from Kinguin, even one i already owned (silly me) and they refunded me straight away after verifying i hadn't redeemed.
Then i bought a game after with the refund money via the nvidia deal thingo for the gtx1080ti but it was invalid as it had expired (the date ended apparently didn't know that type of deal existed but pretty sad that they have end dates)
But i put in a ticket, and it was resolved within 24 hours as they contacted the seller and got my refund for me.
10/10 one of the best digital marketplaces for video games whether it be Xbox, Ps4 or PC.
Kinguin.net is the best website for selling/buying game keys!
I have used Kinguin.net for a while now to sell extra game keys that I come across in bundles and sales online. It's a fantastic place to place those keys for games that you already have but got in a too-good-to-pass-up bundle or sale. I have never had an issue with selling a game or buying a key. Every key has worked, every transaction has been logged, and every interaction with customer service has been professional and productive. Their prices fluctuate, but are fair and usually cheap. I have not tried any other website, but I'd be hard-pressed to leave Kinguin.net because of the resounding success I have had.

The best Service I have ever gotten
Legitimately, that is what Microsofts customer service should have been. I lost my Windows license after a dead motherboard - called Microsoft and got told there was nothing they could do and I would have to go back to the seller of the PC (yeah, they closed).
Bought from Kinguin as they were the cheapest - got a dead key (seriously, buy the protection), was immediately given another one, which also didnt work so the guy messaged the microsoft live chat FOR ME and got my activation key.
The whole time he and I were telling jokes and comparing two very different parts of the world.
They have a customer for life.
Windows Product OEM Key Activation
I was worried when I activated a product key on my computer that it was a scam, because Windows said it was an invalid key and was activated too many times. So I immediately contacted the Kinguin Chat to see if they would be able to resolve my problem. I got a hold of Pat. Pat was able to walk me through a whole process of tests and installations and uninstalls etc. Well, long story short he was able to get the product key activated for me. It was almost unreal how quick it happened. Also, to mention, the fact that he/she was able to respond to each statement so quickly and with an actual human response was super helpful.
Excellent customer support
Obviously since they sell cheap Windows 10 keys there may be some doubt as I had too, and my key initially seemed to be false. I figured I would at least contact the Kinguin live chat to see what they would say, and what happened over the course of an hour or so was some of the best customer support I've ever seen. I got the same agent twice, Bastian, and not only did he guide me in the right direction and eventually got the key to work, he even did the activation through Microsoft support himself. To go "third party" and help me to that extent was such a relief and I couldn't be more thankful. I'd never heard of Kinguin before but this experience has made me a customer for sure.
Order went on-hold due to security but resolved quick
I was a bit afraid to order at kinguin.net after reading bad reviews here but I had no choice than trying it out due to my need (steam limitation of paypal for me).
It was my first order experience and I fall into on-hold due to security reasons. And, it was true as it supposed to be. However, I posted a ticket and went to live chat too. It was handled by Tolly (on ticket), then Rafael on chat, transferred to Dominik who helped me throughout the issue. I had to verify my identity but it was fine to me. Overall, I found the team very helpful and specially thanks to Dominik the way I was treated and resolved:)
Highly recommended site if you are legitimate and real person (no fraud).
Great experience with Kinguin!
I was pre-ordering a game and added 50 euro to my balance on Kinguin. That went easy and fast and i pressed on The Division 2 and put it in the basket! Very easy and fast too. Then i added a coupon i found on the internet and it worked. I placed my order but i got a weird message that i needed to pay with Kinguin Crowns or something and i contacted the support and they explained to me that it's only for certain payments and that i should cancel my order in the email i got. So i did that and i instantly got my balance back! Great stuff right? But the best part comes now! The very friendly support person gave me a coupon code for a regular transaction! And it worked. Very nice and fast support, i will stay here for a while and so should you :)
Great Prices and Customer Service
I stumbled across Kinguin about a year ago looking for some cheaper alternatives to Steam. I've placed maybe 5 orders for a total of maybe about $40. I've also looked into selling a few keys myself on there. The prices you get are great when you compare them to full retail. Also, even though I don't spend much there, the two times I've used their chat feature they've been amazingly friendly and treated me like I've been the guy paying to keep the lights on. I've only ever had one issue with a key that was already used, and even though I didn't opt for the buyer protection they went ahead and took care of coordinating everything to make it right. It was only a $1.39 game, but again, they treated me like my issue was the most important they had to do. I've used a few similar sites, but after my last experience with Kinguin, I won't be going anywhere else again.
Awesome Service! Cheap Prices!
UPDATE 23/3/2018
***
I've been buying games, gift cards, software keys basically everything from this website constantly for more than a year now and I can't be more satisfied than this! The prices are very cheap and the support agents are extremely friendly, if I was able to rate it again I would give it another 5 starts for sure! Keep up the amazing service Kinguin! Please don't go the way G2A went and ruin this beautiful service!
***
I bought many games from Kinguin, and they all got delivered instantly without a delay and without a single problem during checking out!
Awesome service I'd definitely give it more than 5 star if I could.
Note: Just had an issue with an order and it got solved instantly with the LiveChat even without their "Kinguin Buyer Protection", the support agent was extremely friendly I only talked to him for 10 minutes and it felt like he was my friend for a life-time! This was the best support I had my entire life!
Kinguin Review: A Safe and Reliable Website for Buying Games and Digital Products
Kinguin is a great website for buying games and other digital products. I've been using it for a while now and I've never had any issues with it. It's much better than G2A because there are no hidden fees that they don't tell you about. I've bought many games and even a Windows 10 key from Kinguin and I've never had any problems with the keys.
If there is ever a problem with the site, I just contact the support team and they respond within seconds. They are always quick to solve any issues that I have. I really love this site and I buy more games from Kinguin than I do from Steam now. I highly recommend that you buy your games here.
However, it's always a good idea to check the prices on Steam as well because sometimes they have sales that make the games cheaper than Kinguin. But usually, Kinguin has the cheaper prices. Also, I get the keys instantly in most cases. The longest I've ever waited was maybe an hour or two for CS: GO skins a while back.
I have made 43 orders on Kinguin so far. Some of them are games, some are CS: GO skins, keys, and cases, and a few of those bundled keys for $5 or so, along with the Windows 10 key. I've also bought some games together so the 43 orders become 50+ games and other purchases. I wouldn't say that I'm a veteran on the site or anything, but I have used it quite a bit.
Overall, Kinguin is a safe and reliable website for buying games and other digital products. I highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a good deal on games.
Disappointing Experience with Kinguin and PayPal: Code Didn't Work and No Help from PayPal
I gotta say, I ain't too happy with Kinguin. I mean, I wouldn't give them a penny of my hard-earned cash, and I sure as heck wouldn't expect PayPal to have my back if something went wrong.
Let me tell you what happened. I bought a software download from Kinguin, but when I tried to use the code they sent me, it didn't work. I mean, what a waste of time and money, right?
So I opened up a dispute with PayPal, thinking they'd help me out. But nope, they did absolutely nothing. Kinguin even asked me to drop the dispute, but I didn't trust them. I thought PayPal would do some investigating and get to the bottom of things. Boy, was I wrong.
I sent PayPal a screenshot of the code that didn't work, but they didn't seem to care. They said the product was delivered, but I mean, come on. If the code doesn't work, then the product wasn't delivered, plain and simple.
Thankfully, it wasn't a big-ticket item, but I wouldn't trust Kinguin with anything valuable. And as for PayPal, I'll be using them a lot less from now on. There are plenty of other payment companies out there that actually do their job and protect their customers.
Terrible Customer Support: My Frustrating Experience with Kinguin and G2play.net
This website, Kinguin, is absolutely terrible. I have had a terrible experience with their customer support. Despite their claims of 24/7 support, I have sent several messages and have been completely ignored. I am extremely angry and frustrated with this company.
I thought that Gamivo and Eneba were bad, but Kinguin and g2play.net are even worse. I recently purchased The Sims 3, thinking it was the base game, but when I went to redeem it on my Origin account, it turned out to be a 70s, 80s, and 90s add-on instead. I didn't confirm the redemption, as I wanted to make sure it was still redeemable for the next customer.
I have tried to contact the seller, DigitKeys, but there is no way to do so directly. This is completely unacceptable. Kinguin should be checking on their sellers to make sure they are not selling the wrong products.
I bet that the site will blame the Covid-19 pandemic for their lack of support, but that is just an excuse. They advertise 24/7 support to customers, but I am not getting the full service. I understand that there is an epidemic going on, but that is no excuse for rude, unhelpful, and plain ignorant behavior.
Please respond to me, Kinguin. Stop ignoring me. It is rude, unhelpful, and plain ignorant. This is unacceptable.
Buyer Beware: My Disappointing Experience with Kinguin's Buyer Protection
I gotta say, my experience with Kinguin was a real bummer. I ordered keys for two games a while back and even shelled out for some buyer protection. I was pretty stoked when I got a message saying the games were added to my Kinguin Game Library. I figured they were safe and sound in there, you know? But boy was I wrong.
After a long battle with some gnarly sickness, I'm finally getting back into gaming. But when I tried to use those keys I bought, they didn't work. And Kinguin straight up refused to replace them, even though I had that buyer protection. They never even warned me that there was a risk of the keys getting invalid, which is exactly what I paid extra for that protection for.
I gave them all the info they asked for, but they still wouldn't replace the keys. And it turns out I'm not the only one who's had this problem with their "buyer protection." Their official stance is that "The Buyer Protection which you purchased does not guarantee you that you will recieve the replacement or refund." Like, what the heck? They should tell you that before you buy!
Honestly, I'm pretty ticked off about the whole thing. I'd recommend looking into some other options if you're thinking about buying games online.
Kinguin Review: Total Scam and Fraudulent Game Keys
I bought a Division Game Key from Kinguin and it turned out to be a total scam. Ubisoft revoked the key because it was fraudulent and stolen. I reached out to Kinguin for help, but they are ignoring my ticket. I also contacted Ubisoft, and they apologized for the delay in response, saying that they are extremely busy with support cases. They confirmed that the key was valid but had been revoked in the system due to fraud. They also recommended that I contact the vendor where I purchased the key for additional support.
Kinguin is a total fraud and a scam. They are not only faking their reputation, but they are also frequently stealing money by selling fraudulent game keys or not delivering at all. Even if you have a successful purchase, it's only a matter of time before you become a victim. I strongly advise you to avoid Kinguin and use verified vendors for game keys. Ubisoft recommends purchasing their downloadable PC games directly from the Uplay Shop or from companies who have a digital distribution agreement with Ubisoft as they receive the game files and keys directly from Ubisoft. You can find a full listing of approved digital retail vendors on their website.
I am extremely disappointed with Kinguin's service and their lack of response to my ticket. It's frustrating to spend money on something that turns out to be a complete scam. I hope that others can learn from my experience and avoid Kinguin at all costs.
Avoid Kinguin.net: Invalid Key, Poor Customer Service, and Shady Business Practices
I recently had a not-so-great experience with Kinguin.net. I purchased a Windows 10 key and buyer protection, but unfortunately the key turned out to be invalid. I tried contacting Kinguin for help, but they didn't respond. I was pretty frustrated, so I decided to reach out to Microsoft for assistance.
To my surprise, Microsoft informed me that the key I had received was actually a "downgrade key" that would allow me to downgrade Windows 10 Pro to Home. This violated section 5 of their terms of service, which was definitely not what I had signed up for. After waiting for 5 days without a response from Kinguin, I decided to leave a bad review. Suddenly, Kinguin's support team responded to me.
Kinguin tried to convince me that the key was legitimate and that Microsoft was wrong. They even suggested that I try to activate the key using the automated Windows 8 support phone line, which seemed pretty sketchy to me. I called Microsoft again and spoke to a different support person, who confirmed that the key was not as advertised. I demanded a refund, but Kinguin jerked me around for weeks before finally agreeing to give me my money back.
They told me that it would take up to 5 business days to process the refund, but responding to their message would reset the wait time. I patiently waited for 3 weeks, but still no refund. It's been almost 2 months since my original purchase, and I'm still in contact with Kinguin over this issue. They've been pretty shady and have told me a lot of lies along the way.
Overall, I would definitely recommend avoiding Kinguin.net. Their customer service is lacking, and their products may not be as advertised. It's just not worth the hassle.
Slow Response Time and Shadiness: My Experience with Kinguin's Office 2019 Professional Plus Key
So, I bought a key for Office 2019 Professional Plus from Kinguin, which cost me a bit more than the usual key. But, as soon as I tried to activate it, I faced a lot of issues. I tried every solution they offered, but it was of no use. Their response time was terrible, and it took them almost five business days to get back to me. And, to add to my frustration, they replied just before another weekend, which meant more waiting time for me!
The key didn't work when I tried to activate it through Microsoft's Office activation website. And, when I tried to send the key through the Office software, it initially gave an error. This made me doubt the legitimacy of the key.
They suggested that I use PowerISO, which was completely irrelevant as Windows Explorer opens the .Img file provided and mounts it as a disk just fine. So, I wasted some time verifying the trustworthiness of that software and used its trial to get the same effect.
Finally, I got the product working with a Registry Edit following this support post from Microsoft: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/office-error-code-0x80070005-when-activating-office-7aa7600f-df57-4aef-81d2-25509c66f865
They provided this solution, but the problem here is that Microsoft's instructions are incomplete. "NETWORK SERVICE" does not appear by default. Therefore you have to press "Add" > "Select a principal" then type "NETWORK SERVICE" exactly (without quotes, but with a space) and click "check names" to be sure it works. Give it "Full control". Press OK. Check the "Replace all child object..." while "NETWORK SERVICE" is selected. Press OK. An error will come up, but it should have worked. After that point "Unlicensed Product" no longer showed up. I'm not sure why this solution was required.
Although I was able to get the product working, I still cannot recommend the site due to their slow response time and general shadiness. However, it does not appear to be a complete scam.
Kinguin Review: Buyer Protection Issues and Slow Support Response Time
I gotta say, when I buy somethin' from a discount website like Kinguin, I know there's a chance somethin' could go wrong. But that's just the nature of the beast, ya know? They're sellin' bulk keys that might have been used before or sold off by a business that went under. It happens. And I ain't blamin' Kinguin for that. They're just usin' other sellers and can't control everything. But they do offer buyer protection, which is good.
My issue with Kinguin is how they handle that protection. I bought a key and tried to use it right away, but it didn't work. So I filed a claim with support. Two days went by and I hadn't heard back, so I decided to hit up the support chat to see what was goin' on. They said they could help me out in chat, but they needed more info. I couldn't give it to 'em right then 'cause I was at work and my computer was at home. So my problem still ain't resolved.
Now, I know they eventually fixed the issue in chat. It only took 'em about 10 minutes, which is great. But why did it take two days for them to respond to my ticket? If they can fix somethin' that quickly in chat, they should be able to do the same thing with tickets. And they should make it clear which support method is the best one to use. I shouldn't have to go huntin' for a solution.
Overall, I ain't too thrilled with Kinguin. But I guess they're better than some other discount sites out there. Just be prepared for some hiccups along the way.
Kinguin.net Review: Duplicate Code, Terrible Customer Service, and Hidden Complaints on Facebook
I recently made a purchase on Kinguin.net, and I have to say, it was a complete disaster. I bought a game code and paid through Paypal, and while I did receive the code within seconds, it turned out to be a duplicate code that had already been used by someone else. I was extremely frustrated and immediately sent a copy of my Paypal receipt and a description of the problem to Kinguin's service email address. I also opened a service ticket on the website, but hours went by with no response.
I decided to try and reach someone through the live chat link on the website, which is supposed to be open 24/7. However, the wait time when I entered the queue was over three hours, and the number one issue listed in the queue at the time was "Duplicate/Invalid Code". After waiting for half an hour, I got kicked out of the queue, and live chat went offline. I was at my wit's end and decided to contact the company via private message through their Facebook page. I sent my service ticket number and asked for help, but it took them two days to respond.
Over a four-day period, Kinguin sent two requests to my service ticket, asking for screenshots to show that the code didn't work, screenshots of everything that I purchased on Steam, a screenshot of the DLC tab, and they even asked that I close my Paypal claim, because it might "slow down their process". I sent screenshots immediately on day 2, which was the first day that I heard from them. I sent additional screenshots on day 4, which was the second time that I heard from them. Although I had been foolish enough to buy from them, I wasn't foolish enough to close my Paypal claim.
By the end of day 4, I had had enough. I contacted my credit card company and sent them a copy of my Paypal receipt, told them about the Paypal claim, and sent screenshots of my communications with Kinguin. Within an hour, my credit card company had completed an investigation and credited my account. Clearly, they could immediately see that I was being scammed. There should have been no reason why I wasn't sent a workable code after I sent proof that my first code was unusable.
To make matters worse, there are numerous complaints, exactly like mine, in the comments sections of the posts on Kinguin's Facebook page. Aside from complaints about invalid codes, there are many complaints about skins ordered, paid for, and not received. For some reason, many comments don't appear to be viewable right now. I'm wondering if Kinguin has figured out a way to keep them hidden. PLEASE take the time to check out the FB page before you waste your time and money with this company. You should be able to read about loads of awful experiences. If a post says that there are 43 comments, and you can only see 3 positive ones and no others, know that there are 40 negative experiences being hidden by Kinguin somehow.
I would strongly advise against buying from this company. Don't believe the additional scam that if you pay extra for their "buyer protection", you won't get a bad code. First off, why should you have to pay extra to get the actual product that you are paying for? And second, there are plenty of comments from people who paid for "protection" and had the same experience as me. Save yourself the headache and avoid Kinguin at all costs.
Kinguin Review: Fraudulent Marketplace and Excessive Verification Requirements
Kinguin is a website that you should be aware of. Their marketplace is not trustworthy and they are frauding their customers. I have had a terrible experience with them. I purchased several products using paysafecard, and once I created the order with a reasonable price, it became "on hold". They blocked my order, and all I got is endless blunt excuses from support, that aimed only for evading the fulfillment of order completion or moneyback.
I contacted customer support and they illegally asked me to provide paysafecard vouchers photos with paper note "for kinguin" as "proof" that I really own the money I used, to complete my order. This violates PSC rules, because it's strictly prohibited to share PSC vouchers with ANYONE. However, I kindly provided them with the requested data. But they asked me to provide it again in a different visual form. "Final verification" is a lie.
After my multiple complaints on illegal actions of kinguin - support requested my personal identity documents with handwritten order number, with promise that this is "final verification". I provided this data, but - they requested it again in a different form. Second "final verification" is a lie.
Now they requested a selfie from me holding my ID in one hand and a piece of paper with "kinguin" in the other hand. Apart from the fact, that this third weird request has surely absolutely nothing to do with a proof of paysafecards belonging to me, I simply don't have the third hand which could hold my smartphone during this acrobatic challenge.
Kinguin has answered it like that: "We understand that this request might be troublesome but it should be the final step of verifying your order".
Paysafecard by itself - is an anonymous payment method, but kinguin thinks differently - and makes it mostly compromised method for user identity. Every "verification request" is a fraud scheme of kinguin, to easily achieve and block your money forever. Paysafecard is an anonymous payment method and Kinguin uses this, because most of PSC owners don't wish to reveal their identity, and a good opportunity to steal the money by Kinguin.
They refused to make any kind of chargeback, and all I get is new and new "verification requirements", all of them are illegal.
I was not willing to accept that kind of excessive verification and requested a refund via bank wire and wanted to provide my IBAN for the money transfer. That also has been declined by support explaining that such a refund to my bank account would be a violation of the rule of avoidance of money laundering and a refund via paysafecard is technically impossible and there is no other way to solve this problem besides following their requirements for an endless amount of weird verifications. That means to me as a customer that the only possible alternative to that kind of excessively blackmailing verification process could be a total waiver of the whole payment amount without any return service.
If you wish to lose your money, make your private confidential identity and financial data publicly accessible - welcome to kinguin, they know how to do it, and will help you with that.
I even have a video proof that is available by link: https://vimeo.com/514655250.
Kinguin Complaints 12
Scammed with non-working game key
Watch out! They scam you out of your money! I bought what I though to be a steam key that was an account instead of an activation key. I had no idea how to use this key and requested a refund. Now they claim that I changed the accounts password?!?!. I didn't even use the account! So, I escalated it to the Kinguin service&support department. Got the following reply:
"Dear Customer,
Thank you for your patience.
We have received confirmation from the seller that account credentials have been changed, as such, if you wish to be refunded, please set them back to default ones.
Otherwise, we will be forced to reject this case.
We look forward to your cooperation and hearing back from you.
Kind regards,
Alex"
Addition:
They closed the ticked. I cannot respond to them anymore.
Conclusion:
They sell you an account that you thought was an activation key. After complaining and requesting a refund, the seller quickly changes the account password. After doing this they claim that I somehow changed the password. Of which no proof is given.
A very smart and nasty scam of which there is absolutely no defense whatsoever. Other then NEVER doing buziness with thwm ever again.
Desired outcome: Refund
Kinguin Review: Shady Business Practices and Delayed Payouts
I've been using Kinguin to sell games since 2014, but lately I've noticed some changes that have me concerned. In 2018, they started making us wait two months for payouts instead of the usual one month. And even when you do click on payout, they still make you wait weeks, sometimes even months, before you get your money. This is a big problem for me, because I rely on this income to pay my bills.
It seems like Kinguin might be having some financial problems, which is why they're holding onto our money for so long. This is really frustrating, because it feels like they're stealing from us sellers. They're using our money for their own shady business practices and investments, without our consent. I think this is illegal, and I'm not happy about it.
Overall, I would say that Kinguin is a bad site with bad service. Their business practices are shady, and their customer service is very disappointing. They even turn off LiveChat when they feel like it, which is really frustrating when you need help. As a seller myself, I don't recommend anyone to buy anything on Kinguin. It's just not worth the risk.
Kinguin Review: Cheap Windows Keys, but Is It Worth the Risk?
So, you're looking to buy a Windows key, huh? Well, let me tell you about Kinguin. Now, I ain't no tech expert or nothin', but I've used Kinguin a few times and I gotta say, it's a bit sketchy.
See, Kinguin is sellin' keys that have already been used by other folks. They tell you to activate the key by phone, which lets you say that you've reinstalled your hardware and want to use the same key again. Now, Microsoft can't really do nothin' about that, but it does go against their terms and services.
So, you might end up with a key that's been used by 10 or more other people. But, hey, it's still the cheapest way to activate a valid Windows, if you don't care about the legal stuff.
Now, here's a funny story for ya. I claimed a refund 'cause I thought it was illegal for them to sell me an already used key. And you know what they did? They offered to resell me the same key so I could get my refund. Crazy, right?
Anyway, if you're lookin' for a cheap way to activate Windows and you don't mind takin' a bit of a risk, Kinguin might be the way to go. But, if you're worried about the legal stuff, you might wanna look elsewhere.

Buyer Beware: My Disappointing Experience with Kinguin's Customer Support
So, I had this experience with Kinguin and it wasn't great. I bought a season pass and when I tried to use the code, it didn't work. I contacted their customer support and they said they could give me a refund if I sent them screenshots of the code not working. I did that, but they kept saying it worked when it clearly didn't. I've bought from them before and I know what works and what doesn't.
To make matters worse, they threatened me in their emails and were really unhelpful. They even said they would cancel my PayPal case with their "legal department." It was really frustrating because I had proof that the code didn't work, but they still wouldn't give me a refund. It's like they didn't care about their customers at all.
So, if you're thinking about buying from Kinguin, be careful. They might sell you fake or used codes and then refuse to give you a refund. The only way to get your money back might be to charge back with your bank. It's a shame because I've had good experiences with them before, but this one really soured my opinion of the company.
Kinguin Review: Key Already Activated, Poor Customer Support, and Refund Issues
So, I bought a key from Kinguin and tried to activate it on Steam, but it said it was already activated. I was pretty bummed out, but I contacted support and they tried to help me out. However, it wasn't good enough from a customer's point of view. When a key doesn't work, they make you take three different screenshots and send them before they'll contact the merchant to get another key sent to you. It took three tries, but finally, I got a working key.
On the second try, I asked for a refund from Kinguin, but they said they needed to talk to the merchant about it. I know some people have had good experiences with this site, but unfortunately, this was my first time using it and I had to deal with this. I'm going to remove my account soon because my trust in them is gone. I didn't expect to be treated like this. It's a shame because the concept of the website is great.
Beware of Kinguin.net's False Promise of Multi-Device License-Keys: A Review
I recently stumbled upon Kinguin.net and was intrigued by their offer of "Multi-Device license-keys" for a seemingly affordable price. However, my experience with the website was far from satisfactory.
Despite the promise of being able to use the license on multiple devices, I soon discovered that this was not the case. In reality, I was only able to use the license on one device due to various reasons such as the key being a "cheapo key" for a single device or a shared key that had already been used and was being sold as new.
This kind of behavior is reminiscent of a mafia-like operation and is nothing short of cheating. The customer is then expected to provide proof of the scam with screenshots, which is nearly impossible since the user cannot access the account settings page for various reasons, including not having access to the account because they only hold the "secondary kay" for registering a specific number of units.
It is a highly organized crime that is shameful and cowardly. It is appalling that these individuals are trying to make money through such low-life activities. It is a disgraceful act that should be condemned by all.
Disappointing Experience with Kinguin: Wrong Key and Slow Resolution
So, I went to Kinguin to buy a game key, and I told them I was from the USA. But when I got the key, it had a code for Australia! I couldn't use it, so I contacted Kinguin. They told me to talk to the seller, HungerGames. But HungerGames didn't speak English very well, and they said it was my fault for buying a bad key. I was really frustrated, so I went back to Kinguin. They said they would put the key up for sale again, and if someone bought it, I could get a refund. I didn't really want to do that, but I didn't have a choice.
Now, it's been over a week, and I just got an email saying they finally put the key up for sale again. I have to be patient and wait for someone to buy it so I can get my money back. It's really frustrating, and I feel like I got scammed. I wish they had just given me a refund right away instead of making me wait so long.
Overall, I'm not very happy with my experience with Kinguin. They didn't give me what I paid for, and it took a long time to get any kind of resolution. I don't think I'll be using their website again.
Disappointing Experience with Kinguin.net: Unfair Treatment and No Resolution
I had a really bad experience with Kinguin.net. I sold my Star Wars Battlefront II Origin CD Key for 13.99 on January 15, 2019. The buyer downloaded and installed the game, but then filed a complaint because the game contained Spanish-Mexican instead of Spanish Spanish. I didn't know that was a problem, but apparently it was.
To my surprise, Kinguin decided to keep all my money and my 13.99. They didn't even try to help me resolve the issue with the buyer. Instead, they sent me a message offering me a measly -5% discount on my next purchase. That's not even close to fair compensation for what happened.
I'm really disappointed with Kinguin's practice. They should have done more to help me out. I don't recommend selling or buying anything on their website. It's just not worth the risk.
Bad Experience with Kinguin: Product Didn't Work and No Refund Given
I gotta say, I wouldn't recommend Kinguin. I had a pretty bad experience with them. I bought a code for Guild Wars 2, but when I tried to use it, it didn't work. I reached out to Kinguin for help, but they just sided with the seller and wouldn't give me a refund or any kind of solution. I even offered to provide proof, but they didn't want to hear it.
They did eventually get back to me with an apology and a 10% discount code, but honestly, that's not really good enough. They sold me a product that didn't work, and now they want me to buy something else from them? It's like they're trying to cheat me twice.
Their customer service is pretty much non-existent, too. I'm just going to close my account and never buy anything from them again. If something goes wrong, their warranty is worthless. So, yeah, I'd say avoid Kinguin.
Kinguin Review: Poor Communication and Customer Service Skills Need Improvement
This site, Kinguin, has some major issues that need to be addressed. Firstly, their communication skills are severely lacking. When I opened a support ticket, they sent me an email asking for more information, but then failed to respond at all. After waiting for 20 minutes, I finally got through to a chat representative who informed me that I was supposed to update the ticket instead of responding to the email, even though the email from Kinguin said otherwise. When I pointed out this discrepancy, the representative was quite rude and dismissive, stating that "that's why we have the online tickets" and refusing to argue. This kind of attitude is unacceptable.
The reason I had to contact them in the first place was because the seller had given me a product key that couldn't be activated online and had to be done by phone. This is a major inconvenience and should have been communicated clearly before the purchase was made.
Another issue with the site is that they don't differentiate between 32- and 64-bit programs. This can cause confusion and lead to the wrong product being purchased.
In the end, I was able to get the program I needed, but it took a lot of time and effort to get a decent answer to my problem. I would have been willing to pay a little more to avoid these headaches. Overall, Kinguin needs to work on their communication and customer service skills if they want to retain their customers.
Shady Business Practices: My Disappointing Experience with Kinguin
I've been using Kinguin for a while now to buy apps and games, and I have to say, most of the time I've been pretty happy with my purchases. The prices are usually lower than what you'd find on other sites, which is always a plus. However, my last experience with them has left me feeling pretty disappointed, and I don't think I'll be using them again.
First of all, I noticed that they add taxes onto the price of the item, which isn't always immediately clear. This means that the final price you pay can end up being a lot higher than what you thought you were going to pay. In some cases, I've seen prices go up by as much as 60%, which is a pretty big difference.
But the real reason I'm not recommending Kinguin anymore is because of an issue I had with a game I bought from them. I purchased the Age of Empires Definitive Edition, and while the key worked just fine, I couldn't get the game to install. I had no idea what was going on, so I reached out to their support team for help. They sent me a bunch of links to forum discussions that showed that this was a global issue - in other words, the game simply couldn't be installed. And yet, they were still selling keys for it.
To me, this is a really shady business practice. They're selling a product that they know doesn't work, and they're not being upfront about it. When I asked for a refund, they told me they couldn't give me one because the key worked. But that's not the point - the game itself was broken, and they knew it.
To make matters worse, when you factor in the taxes they add onto the price, I ended up paying the same amount as I would have if I'd just bought the game directly from the Microsoft store. And if I had done that, I would have been able to get a refund right away.
All in all, I'm really disappointed with my experience with Kinguin, and I don't think I'll be using them again. They might have good prices, but if they're going to sell broken products and not be upfront about it, then what's the point?
They sold me fake game key
I bought a game key from them and when I decided to use it I found out it was not working and that's not all! It also said that it was stolen! I immediately went online and contacted Kinguin, but they never replied. I sent them over 20 messages and they completely ignored me.
Kinguin is stealing money by selling fraudulent game keys! This is absolutely illegal and it a crime! Avoid this place at all costs!
I'm amidst a similar problem. I bought a SWTOR gamekey that had already been used. I went through the laborious process of trying to file a complaint to Origin through Kinguin (since that's who Kinguin tried to pass my complaints to). The format of the screenshots was rejected. I called my bank but they can't dispute it until it's gone from "pending" to "posted." At length, Kinguin was able to talk me through getting the screenshots they needed to file their complaint about Origin to Origin. That done, I'm told I have to wait 24 hours. Meanwhile, I'm out the money. I provided a devastating review, complained to my bank.
Please help me. I bought a game and have sent through a ticket but has yet to be received by me my order status says complete.
Thanks
Sean

Everytime I go to buy from kinguin there's some new security glitch causing me to create new accounts, I sat there for 20 minutes reentering the verification code for a new computer, funny because I signed up on the laptop and kinguin never kept me logged in. Now I just spent 30 dollars for no reason because they won't respond to the ticket they made themselves. Good job kinguin.
Although if you decide to buy from kinguin and have a problem, try using the live chat that solved my problem in less than 30 minutes rather than a support ticket.
