room quality/service/bug bites
My family of 5 left after 3 night covered in bug bites from sleeping in the beds... don't know if it was bedbugs or dirt mite bites. The air conditioner didn't get cold enough & the only fan in the room didn't work... it's 95 outside in Texas & I have small kids! The toilet didn't flush correctly and made a loud noise the entire flush cycle & you had to stand there holding it down for like 2 minutes. Several times it wouldn't flush at all & we asked the front desk to come fix it. They advised they had 1 plunger for the entire 200+ rooms, we had to go get it & fix the toilet ourself, then take it back upfront. I wish it would have been cleaner & a little better maintained/up kept. The entire bathroom was gross... the shower kit was broken and was sloppily repaired. The faucet, knobs & drain were rusted. The soap dish & shower kit was heavily chalked and showed mold on it. The floor didn't appear to be mopped and there was dirt & grime along the edges. The breakfast was ok... cereal, waffles, bagels & yogurt.

I requested a handicap accessible room when I made reservations, and when I arrived, I was not given a handicap accessible room. At 11:00 pm on Saturday, 05/05/2018, I was informed that I needed to move to a handicap accessible room on the second floor. I moved my belongings at midnight, and upon entering the room I discovered that there was no privacy in the room from the parking lot, as the curtain and blinds did not close. I informed the front desk who informed me that I had to either take this room or go back to the original room. This was our first stay at Laquinta, and it was the worst experience of any hotel I stayed at. When I approached staff the following day to inform them that my husband and I were leaving. The front desk clerk informed my husband and I that she did not want to hear about it. My husband was in tears. I asked that I have something signed not charging me for the additional days. The clerk informed me that she was not going to do this, and I needed to trust her. At my insistence, she eventually called the manager. When I got home, I noticed a charge on my credit card. When I called to speak to the manager, I was told that he was not available. He has not been available throughout the entire ordeal. I was lied to that he would get back to me. I was also to receive an email from the hotel and never did.

After discovering that this hotel had put an unauthorized hold on my charge card without any warning which was all the funds we had available to take my husband to his doctor appointment which was our purpose in reserving the room which I had made reservations and paid for online. I went immediately to the front desk where I was told that I had to wait on the manager he was the only one who could authorize it to be reversed. After several attempts to do so I was told he was not able to reverse the hold on my charge card.
I then called the home office at which time I was put on hold and went through departments and was told the last time that I would get my problem resolved. However, the lady returned to my call and informed me that she had spoken with the desk clerk at the Terre Haute, Indiana La Quinta hotel and they were in the process of reversing the hold when I called the main office that they were just waiting on the manager who had to authorize the transaction. When I tried to explain to her that this had all taken place an hour earlier and they were unable to reverse it she got hateful and kept repeating the same thing in the phone louder and then hung up.
I had to reschedule my husband doctor appointment which they are unable to get him in for another six weeks.
We stay at the Drury inn at Terre Haute approximately 15 to 20 days a year and just wanted to give this hotel a chance. NEVER AGAIN and I will spend every day letting everyone else know not to stay here!

While discussing a matter of a cancelled reservation, a woman by the name of Angelina /Angelica began getting rude when when being annoyed by my questions asked about my cancelled reservation. All the way up to the point she hung the phone up on me in the middle of the conversation. From my understanding she is considered the manager and I do not have anyone to resolve my matter to at the hotel regarding my cancelled reservation. She was very insultive and very unprofessional could someone please resolve this matter. thank you
my stay at la quinta inn tampa bay pinellas park clearwater, florida
My is Latissa Serrette, The room I stayed in had mold in it and for the price ($178.54) I paid it should have been in better condition. The rug staples were out sticking me into the feet I cough all night in my sleep so the last day of my stay I found the mold in the closet were the iron board was hanging I was not pleased with my stay. I recieved a call from the manager at Tampa Bay Pinellas Park, Florida 33781 location about 11:17am she was rude when she spoke with me about my stay I told her I didn't notice the condition of the room until Sunday morning when I was about to check out and I had to iron she didn't give me time to explain why I was not pleased. I have been gone out with family and family and friends all day Friday and Saturday so I was tried and I just sleep there Friday night about 10pm and left early Saturday morning and reached back that night so I noticed the smell and conditions of the room Sunday morning when I was getting ready to checkout. She said only one night will be refunded to me cause I choose to stay in the room if I didn't have to iron I would not notice the mold in the room and the staples stick me in my feet from the rug.
We had mold in our room in Hammond Louisiana, all around the a/c and possible the carpet since it was soaked when we woke up

I stay with La Quinta every Friday night. The last two I have stayed were far below standards. The one in downtown Sarasota had cockroaches and the blow dryer caught on fire and singed half my hair. Then last weekend we stayed Friday night at the I 75 location and the hot tub jets did not work at all and the sheets were damp. All we were told was sorry about that. I would like to continue using la quinta because it is convenient for me but none of these issues have been addressed and I never got a call from a manager as I was told I would. I have stayed at many La Quinta Inn & Suites in the past 5 years. It is my hotel of choice. I should say was my hotel of choice. This past weekend while moving my daughter home after graduating with a Master's degree our rental truck was stolen with all her belongings in it. Though the staff was kind and tried to be helpful there was only so much they could do. When asked about security I was informed there are no security cameras and the "outside" security company they had hired has been lacking in their duties. So essentially there was no security. This is unacceptable and the local police even commented on the lack of security.
The incident occurred at the La Quinta Inn Indianapolis Airport on Executive Drive between 10pm on Friday 5/4 and 540am on Saturday 5/5. We had planned on staying through Sunday 5/6 to participate in the Indy Mini and visit the Indy Museum. Needless to say we check out 5/5.
Optimally we would be reimbursed for the damage to the rental truck that we will be paying out of pocket and some type of reimbursement for her stolen items.
As a loyal costumer I am very disappointed in the lack of security at this facility and do not plan on returning unless we have some type of resolution.
Additionally, I would like the name and number for the hired security service as they are equally responsible for this horrible incident.

I am staying in Scottsdale for 1 week and i have been at this Hotel S=since Thursday night. I have not had my room cleaned since i have been here and believe me it needs it.. I have called the front desk for towels every day and i was told that they are short staffed Really not my problem im still paying over 100 a night for this dump..
Do yourself a favor and never stay at this property !

I made a reservation at the La Quinta in Florence, S. C. on the reccomendation of a friend who had stayed at one with their dog in Va. She was very happy with their experience and I know she has certain standards as do I. We are traveling from the Gulf coast of Florida back to our home in Ma. After driving for 10 plus hours we were ready for a nice shower and bed. My husband went in the side door and got the luggage rack. He knew right away it wasn't going to work. I went in the front door to register. I had a bad feeling before I even got in the door. The outside was dirty the glass entrance was dirty. The elevator was filty. We got to room 205. I walked in and was horrified. I have never seen anything like it in all my years of travel. I called the front desk and after a protracted wait I was offered rm. 335. I didn't hold much hope but up we went. I didn't need to turn anymore than the entrance light on to see the rug was again filthy and in even more need of a vaccing than the other one. Dust everywhere. Don't get me started on the bathroom. The hallway carpets were disgustingly filthy. I did not want my six pound toy poodle walking on them. We left and stayed elsewhere. It wasn't great but at least I didn't feel sick from the heavy deodorizer smell and dirt. I have a reservation at a La Quinta in Elkton, Maryland tonight. I actually called and was very frank about our doubts about staying there. The front desk was very reassuring. I hope it's better or else we won't stay.
I do want to say that the two young men working couldn’t have been nicer. I was a bit sharp with one of them because I was exhausted and just could not believe we were in such a dirty place.

I arrived at La Quinta Inn and Suites, The Colony-Plano Texas for my weekend reservations. My stay along with my pregnant wife, was all but relaxing. I had noise problems, from the people in other rooms, I contacted the front desk and nothing was done, barking dogs, and cigarette smoke. I used a free night voucher & I paid cash for my 2nd night stay. I told the on site manager in an email, and I never heard from him. I feel like I wasted time and money. I'm a Gold Member and I don't think my weekend should have been as disastrous as it was. Please respond back to my complaint

the condition of the hotel and room
When I checked into the La Quinta Inn at 5249 Century Blvd., Los Angeles, CA on 04/25/18, the hotel was covered with scaffolding for remodeling purposes, and there was a foul odor in the hallway going to my room #704. There was no mention of any remodeling being done prior to making my reservation. I was there from April 25th- April 29th. On the night of April 28th I returned to my room and found that my room had not been made for the day. When I checked out of the room on April 29th, I complained to the front deck about the above problems and wanted to speak to the manager, Joel. I was informed that he was not available. I suggested that I should receive a discount for the night because I had to wait until my room was cleaned. The clerk said the hotel would offer a 25% discount for the night, and the manager would call/contact me via email or phone to discuss what happened and possibly offer more of a discount. I have not heard from anyone from that hotel. I would like a discount applied to my bill that I have already received.
false accusation of room damage
This is regarding our stay at La Quinta Inns and Suites in Eugene, Oregon. Dates of our stay: April 18 - 19, 2018. We received an email from General Manager, Don Davis claiming "when the room was being cleaned to re-rent, our housekeeper found Marijuana residue in the window sill and a strong marijuana order. It was necessary to charge your card on file $250."
In a subsequent phone call, Mr. Davis stated that he had found ashes next to the bed.
We did not do this! We did not possess or consume any cannabis products in the hotel. There is no way that we would smoke anything in the hotel room and this charge is completely false. However, we feel that there is no way we can prove it. It's like trying to prove a negative. We were actually shocked that we would be accused of something like this.

This hotel should be condemned. It is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The place is literally falling apart. I cant believe LaQuinta would even have their name on this place. Our doors were dirty, grass and trash hanging from the over hang over our door, bathtub has yellow spots, no hot water and walls are coming apart. I have pictures for proof.

On Friday (4/13) I reserved a room from La Quaint at 1419 N. US Hwy 67 Cedar Hills, Texas 75104 to check in Saturday (4/21) and check out Sunday (4/22) confirmation number [protected]. When I provided the lady my credit card and Driver's license the lady at the computer and counter stared at eye other like a deer in a headlight for a few seconds.
The lady then told me that the room that I had reserved was not available and was given out to someone else. I then told her why didn't anyone contact me to make me aware that my room was given to some else since they were able to send confirmation on my cell phone. They didn't have an answer.
1. Why didn't anyone contact me to confirm if I was going to be staying at the Hotel?
2. Why was my room given to someone else?
They wanted me to go look for a hotel several miles out of the area, if I wanted to stay several miles out of the area I would have booked a hotel several miles out.
bad wedding experience
Me and my husband got married here and it wasn't the best decision. We reserve the venue Beck in November and without any notice until we called to make sure everything is a go, they tell us that the event planner was fired and lost all out wedding info and the 5 guest rooms and our " complementary honeymoon suite was booked. She didn't even put it in the computer. So after more complaints, the owner said to us in person that we can have the complementary
executive suite the following weekend the current couple wouldn't rebook another night with the mixup.
Though The ceremony was nice in the courtyard but the day before. After giving a detailed layout for the reception hall; there were no place settings that we paid a lot for only champagne glasses that still had previous lip marks on them. The chair covers had ripped holes. And after our honeymoon trip and looking fowerd to staying in out promised suite the following weekend yesterday we went to check in and the front desk girl said there is a $100 change and they change the rates. That room was suppose to be complementary with our wedding package we paid a lot for and the girl said the manager told her that the owner told him about the change. But she refused to call the owner directly to settle this. So the LA quinta I don't recommend to anyone that wants a nice smooth wedding to use them. We are very upset with our experience there and with all the money my family put into our big day the LA quinta didn't do much of anything make it better.
unpleasant stay 4/18 - 4/19 2018
Hello my name is Roman Sanchez and I stayed at La Quinta in Coventry/ Providence.
#1 The first issue I encountered is that the pillows on my bed were really in terrible shape. They were misshapened and really smelling of body odor.
#2 My room was not cleaned when I returned from work. Someone (not me)
put the "Do Not Disturb" sign on the door. Which means someone came into my room during the day when I wasn't here and put the sign on the door.
#3 Very loud construction was going on in the next room until 7pm on the evening of the 19th. I did notice that there was a "Do Not Disturb" sign on that door as well as the room on the other side of the construction room so maybe thats what that sign issue was about I don't know.
I would like as a resolution for this awful stay at your hotel either a complete refund to my company Mueller Reports. Or a comp voucher for two days for future use. I'm sure I will be back for more training in the near future so I'd like to give you guy's a chance to make this right.

very rude manager and unprofessional staff
I stayed at la quinta in savannah ga midtown for 3 weeks in february and then checked back in for a week on april while my house was undergoing renavations. I spent alot of money and even became an elite member. I never had any issues with anyone or was ever rude or had any complaints from anyone until the last few days when the staff became very cruel.
I was overcharged one morning and asked the clerk if she could refund the difference, instead she then charged the card again for the correct amount and said the previous charge would be returned to the card within the week. I was not happy getting charged again without my permission, but I let it go. Then the next day I was charged the wrong fee again but I just didn't say anything. Then the following morning, my boss went to the front desk, gave them his card to pay for the room around 8:00 am and they said everything was good. I then get a call 10 mins before checkout saying I need to come pay because no one paid yet.
I told the woman that my boss did pay this morning with a card and I can't pay again.
She said no one paid. So what did they swipe the card for? I didn't understand and them the manger got on the phone and said if I don't come pay in 20 mins I had to leave.
I was very upset but I never yelled or used profanity, I told her that this was ridiculous and I don't understand how the room wasn't paid for when they swiped the card and said it was.
She then told me I had to check out and if I wasn't gone in the next 10 minutes she would call the police on me!
Turns out, whoever worked that morning for some reason only charged 10 dollars to the card and that's not my fault. That was their third mistake and I shouldn't have to leave, especially with shirt notice.
The manger then told me that when I stayed there back in february that I left my room in such disarray that they had to shut it down for two months and I shouldn't come back.
If that were yrue, which it wasnt, how would they let me check back in in the first place? They just didn't want to admit their mistakes and threw me and my kids out for no reason.
I was never disrespectful and I didn't mess up anything in the room (normal trash to clean of course) but rather then admit their mistakes and let me pay the remainder, she kicked me out.
I will be leaving very negative reviews on hotel review sites.
The manager at la quinta midtown in savannah ga is a liar and a fraud and very power hungry and nasty. I was quite and polite to everyone and I am appalled at the way I was treated!
We stayed one night at the laquinta Inn midtown in Savannah Ga. First off we had been previously billed online. They tried to get my card again upon arrival. I said no. Secondly the parking is horrible . Had to park on the opposite side of the building and carry all of our belongings around and up stairs. Next the pillows are like paper, place was dirty, bathroom way to small, air conditioning had to be put on 62 to even cool it off slightly and it was very loud very early in the morning. We then checked out. We checked into another laquinta tonight. I tried to sign up for the points. Come to find out, the guy at the other one had asked me for my email at which I gave him. He did not say why. This guy already signed me up but put nothing but my email in with out my permission.

Hello My name is Tara Collins. Our Lacrosse team blocked some rooms in your Garden City, NY hotel for the weekend of June 15 and 16. When I called to reserve a room on Tuesday the woman who answered the phone told me that I needed to speak to a man named Peterson because he was supposedly in charge of blocked rooms. I got his voicemail and left a message. I didn't hear back and I had heard from my friend that there were not many rooms left so we went online and wound up having to take a king room because there were no double beds left. The room was $188.00 a night, totaling $419.95 for the weekend and my son didn't even have a guaranteed cot to sleep on. My friends who booked the same night had no problem booking with the person who answered the phone, got double bed rooms and for a cheaper rate I am assuming because of the blocked room rate. I called again on Wednesday and again they transferred me to Petersons voicemail and it is now Saturday and I have yet to hear back from him. My husband is a Diamond member at the Hilton where we could have easily stayed for free but I wanted my son to be able to stay where his friendship were so I convinced my husband to look at La Quinta. I would still like to keep my reservation but would like to see if I could get a reduced rate like my friends did. Obviously Peterson is not going to be calling me back which is why I needed to write this email. My reservation number is [protected]. Please let me know I found you are able to help me out. someone came into my room while I was sleeping and stole my purse
I checked in to LaQuinta in Memphis, Tn (Primacy Parkway) on Friday March 30, 2018 and checked out on Sunday 04/01/2018. The morning of my checkout I woke up at approximately 7:00 am, when I got up I realized that my room door was opened. I immediately called the front desk and the young lady did not seem to take me seriously. As I was preparing to leave, I noticed that my purse was missing. At this point I became totally freaked out that I had been robbed and even worse, someone was in my room while I was sleeping. I called the front desk again, very upset. The young lady (Leah) called the police and I filed a report. The clerk assured me that a manager would call once she got in that evening to give me details on running the camera but no one ever did. She also said that camera were not in the hallways. After I left to go back home, the clerk called to tell me they found my purse in a trash can. After getting home I called and spoked to Mills about a refund. He did not help me and he also told me that no manager was there and assured me that Paula Wilson would call me the next day. No one called, No one there were willing to refund me. I spoked with the representative from hotels.com who was very nice, she also told me that the hotel would not talk to her about refunding my money. This was the absolute worst stay ever. I felt that the staff did not take this incident seriously.
