nasty room at the bloomington location by the airport
I arrived a day early at in Minnesota and I tried to do a early check in (which I was previously advised that it was no problem considering my flight arrived at 11:10 pm on 9/28/2017) at the location:
7815 Nicollet Ave S, Bloomington MN 55420. I even offered to pay for an extra day and was told that they were booked and thatI could only stay one night and would have to leave in the morning at 9:00 am. The room was filthy, the bed was only made up. I went to Walmart to buy cleaning supplies because I was advised that they had no more room. I don't know if I was lied to twice because I'm an African American female. But this was the worse experience that I've encountered, by this being my first trip to Minnesota made me not want to revisit the state. I will stick to booking with Embassy suites or the Hilton.
bed bug bites
I'm staying at laquinta in independence Ohio. I pretty sure got bit by bed bugs. Room 334. When I told them they did move us to another room. Very thankful but receptionist told me today they are pet friendly and could be flee bites. NOT. I have 2 dogs at home I know the difference. I have a investigation going on. hotel room rental
I remain very dissatisfied with the cleanliness of the room and also the cleanliness of the breakfast area...and on four separate occasions the keycard failed to allow me entry to the room (#315). I was a guest overnite on Friday September 22nd and Saturday September 23rd at the LaQuinta Inn and Suites located on I 70 SW in Columbia, Missouri.
When I say there was a lack of cleanliness: there was a smell of urine in the toilet/tub area and I could see several dried up spots of urine in front of the toilet. I found hair behind the faucet on the vanity. The vanity countertop was not very clean. The carpet in the room was very dirty and spotty as well as the desk chair. There was dust on all the furniture/shelving.
Very disappointed...for $405.00 I think I deserved a little better accomodations than this.

This property is the Absolute worst hotel er have ever stayed. I understand that this property is a Franchise. The first room we were given #105 was dirty, as soon as we opened the door the smell was totally overwhelming then it was ad if someone sprayed heavy room freshener so much that it took our breath. It looked like someone had slept in the bed already. We were given a second room #324 the room was better. The carpets in the elevator were disgusting looked as if they have never been cleaned. The staff looked very unkept them selves. Woman at check in her shirt had bleach stains all over it. I asked if the property was a franchise or corporate and was told it is a franchise. I then asked if the owners ever come around and I was told that the owners have not been seen in well over a year or more. We had a very late check-in and not any descent hotels around or we would have left and gone to another. Saying all of this to let you know how disappointed we are. We have stayed in many LaQuinta over the years. I truly feel that this property needs to have a surprise visit by your corporate office. I also feel that in someway we should be compensated for this unacceptable experience. Our folio# [protected]

manager not truthful when asked for senior rate
My husband and I reserved rooms for 3 nights, August 25, 26, and 27th at the Lincoln Ne location, Hemant Desai, manager. We asked him for the senior rate and told us that the 109.00 plus tax, WAS the senior rate. I called [protected] on 9-13-17 and spoke to JoAnn. Told her that we often stay at the NW Omaha Ne location and always get a senior rate of 63.00 plus tax, Joann said she called the Lincoln location and was told that the manager would be in in about 30 minutes and would process the refund for us. Today, 9-21-17, I called [protected] again, got JoAnn again and repeated our conversation from 9-13-17, JoAnn put me on hold, someone named Carmen came on the line, so I repeated our situation to Carmen. Carmen said all she could do was take my info and someone in Corp would call me but it would take time. Shortly after I spoke to Carmen, my phone rang and it was Hemant Desai, Lincoln manager. Hemant told me that the senior rate at his location is 98.00 but he would give us a rate of 89.00 and refund the difference to us. Apparently senior rates differ by location? Regardless, we did ask for the senior rate and the manager was NOT truthfull! The rooms at Lincoln were nice and clean, no problems there, and we have always had good service with the NW Omaha NE locations, but won't be going back to the Lincoln NE LaQunta.

Went to Laquinta on vets in Metairie. Saw that had rooms online before going. Upon arriving, i was in the lobby with 3 other customers waiting. The young lady was sweet, confirned rooms were available for me while she took cared of other customers. I did wait for 20 minutes while she assisted tge other customers tho, appafently one was reserved even though she camein after me. The whole time, the girl said her suorvisor Mike was in bk room. He could be visibly seen but never left chair to help
Once it was finally my turn, after looking at my ID, she said she needed to talk to Mike to see if i could get room because i had issues sues last stay and he partially refunded me. My issue was the a.c. was broken in room, and hotel employees were rude at breakfast this morning. However, Mike sent this young lady back out to tell me no rooms were available...im not sure why i was denied room. Luckily i wasnnt feeling confrontational, or i would have asked mike to be a man and come lie to me hisself. So my question is am i done with Laquinta, l? No way business concludes on this note, and id continue being a customee. This1 guy is ruining your business here.
hotel room, rude unfriendly, and overcharged me by $250
I have stayed at this hotel before but this time during.a massive heat wave, when other hotels were booked and / or rates too high, I drove several hours to get here. Requested a room on the first floor near / next to an exit, instead when checking in the RUDE CONDESCENDING girl told me she had a room on the second floor in the middle of the floor. I did not know what else to do. I am a member and there did not seem to be any other option. I was huffing and puffing and sick and lay down, unable to shower because where were no bars or anything for me to hold onto.
The front desk called asked me to move my car and the only option was too far for me to walk IN THE HOT WEATHER/SUN. I moved the car but did not know how I was going to get to the front door. I called out and a kind young man guest came to my aid. He was FAR MORE HELPFUL than the staff.
I left after two nights and not only was I charged the already inflated rate of $293 for two nights but another $250. I disputed this with my bank for it is a fraudulent charge that I WILL NOT PAY.
The staff could not have cared less if I dropped dead on their property and had the nerve / audacity to overcharge me. I WILL FIND AN ATTORNEY BECAUSE I HAVE HAD IT WITH LAQUINTA'S DOING THIS SORT OF THING. THIS IS THE THIRD LAQUINTA THAT OVERCHARGED ME FOR NO REASON OTHER THAN THEFT AND I WILL NOT NOT NOT PUT UP WITH THIS.
poor quality and deplorable customer service
I've never written a review on a hotel before, but this experience was so awful that it would be a disservice not to let other people know about it. Please don't waste your money. It took 30 minutes yesterday to get checked-in. When we got to the room, it was dusty and smelled. The alarm clock was blaring. We called the front desk in the morning for extra coffee and cups since we ran out. The woman at the front desk literally interrupted me, cut me off, and directed me to actually leave my room and FIND a housekeeper to help me. The front desk couldn't be bothered to even hear from a guest or help. The level of unprofessionalism and overt rudeness here is just shocking. Maybe don't be in the hospitality business. Also, the room next to us was loud all night with dogs barking, so we got no sleep. Pay more to go somewhere else is our advice. Really poor customer service here. We left to go find a housekeeper, couldn't find anyone, and have been waiting over an hour for help becuase we can't find a housekeeper and the front desk won't help. We are staying at the Carter Lake, Iowa location. We are disgusted.

I went downstairs at 7:26pm on the 25th of August to get some towels from the desk attendant but she was dealing with her kids running around the room and a man yelling at her about their daughter. It was highly unprofessional and I didn't appreciate it. I did not get a name however, but she seemed to be the only one working. She had brown curly hair and at least 3 of her kids were running around.

I have always used La Quinta for business travel. I had my son and daughter n law stay in one in Oakland for my son's birthday. He was there to watch a Raider' s game on [protected]. First time ever. After driving for 12 hrs, they arrived to their room. They told me it smelled and the sheets had hair on them. They called the desk to report this and requested new sheets and blankets the person that provided the stuff was very rude. I called first thing in the morning. I was told that there was no type of management available until Monday. I told "Stephanie" I'm sure you have a number for any urgent matters. She said yes, but could not give me the number. It's basically employee run! So we have to deal with being unsatisfied for the weekend. This ruins the trip! I will never stay, much less reserve rooms for my employees or clients again. I expect issues resolved immediately and that a managerial person be available at all hours, on all days. I am a Director and if my client has a concern, then I'm readily available. Very disappointed in manager (Rosemary) a person slips into one of your elevators and you don't contact the person to make sure they are ok. Instead you tell them that you were expecting them to talk to the manager. That was after I had informed the staff member at the time what happened. That's poor customer service. They are using a eco solution that has some sort of oil base on ceramic, That doesn't dry quickly instead of something that would dry quickly. Another person slipped going out the door this morning.
On another subject the quality the halls smelt so did the room . I understand it's pet friendly but we smelt pee in the room . The Faucets are not properly installed.on a good note the pool was very clean and the breakfast was good. Two of the staff there were very personable Rob and Amber.

They assigned me a wrong room, without frigerator or microwave, instead was assigned to a disability accommodation room which I don't need, the room got a big gap under the door you can hear all the noise from the next door room and hall i could not sleep well, I went to the breakfast area 5 minutes before 9:00 am and the front desk lady was picking up the table I ask her for a bottle of water and she say they don't serve that, later I went to Denny's buy my own breakfast came back take a shower and get ready to leave, I was planning on re-heat my food at the dining are because I didn't have a microwave at my room and the lady that refuse to provide a bottle of water say she can't open the door anymore and she don't have the key only the maintenance manager, how can I front desk personnel don't have access to the whole hotel? She was so rude, unprofessional, not willing to help a customer already frustrated about the service, make this last visit beyond unpleasant, this was the worst horrible stay experience ever.

I had the pleasure to stay in the la qunita in buckhead Atlanta the rooms where very nice but there where some things that concerned me. The elevator was out for two days so we walked up and down with our stuff and child from the third floor for three days that was a complete headache. Then one morning on our way to breakfast there was a note the water was going off at 11am it was already 9 am so we had to change our plans from going to breakfast and shower, what happens if we didn't get up until 11 am and then the water didn't get hot again to the next day. Also I'm not sure how the room service goes but no one ever knocked on the door to clean the room after 3 days we had to request for some one to come and at least sweep the floor, we took the trash out our selves and bought our own laundry bags. But I can't forget the staff was friendly.

la quinta hotel 3500 park ave. west denver
Worst 3 nights of my life staying here. Unfortunately our finances didn't allow us to leave this hotel and find another while we were on vacation in Denver. No room service entire stay, I had to go to front desk to get clean linens daily. I also had to empty trash daily. Shower had so much standing water in it. The pool was unusable because of the filth in the pool. Floating hair and napkins throughout the pool. Dirty towels laying everywhere and bare electrical wires on exposed . I called the front desk and complainEd about these items but nothing was done entire stay. Will not be back to your hotels and definitely letting others know of our stay

I stayed at the LaQuinta in Kansas City, MO on Taney Street in room 135. Upon entering the room I noticed a smell. I went into the bathroom and saw water all over the toilet seat. At first I just took a towel and wiped it off. I had just arrived and needed to urinate. I sat down on the toilet and felt water dripping on my head. It was leakage from the room above me. The smell tells me this was from the toilet above me. I went to the front desk and was told that they were aware of the problem. They stated that this room should never have been rented out, but that they were full. I could not get another room. How in anyone's mind is this acceptable? You are putting my health at risk. And, you don't seem to care. I reported this over a week ago with your customer service department and have received no follow up. Is La Quinta new motto: Screw the customer cause we don't give. F***.

Before my arrival, I called the number provided on the site. They checked and said the pool was open as of July 31. Upon my arrival I learned the pool was on fact still closed. So I was told wrong. The fact that it is a pet friendly place is great but also causes a major issue that should be addressed. When we got into our room my legs were immediately covered in fleas to the point where I am now covered in bites. I had to reserve a room for the night for the purpose of I have a very ill child and a plug blew on my power pole causing me to have no water. So, I just needed a place for a night to keep my child. The whole experience was not good whatsoever. I am highly disappointed that I spent my money, that I did not currently have, on a room that has been a total disaster. I did not ask to change rooms just kept myself and child on the bed bc as long as we did not have to walk around the room we were not getting bit. I couldn't handle the hassle of changing rooms around with him after everything going on.

We arrived late to check in. I has called to book a suite king with seperate room they told me it was a suite I had to book so I did. Upon entering room they said I had booked a king bed room. I had stayed there in the past we were super excited to go back. But they renevated. I went back and manager was on phone with front desk and told me if I was not happy to go rent at another la quinta. Very rude. We decided to stay it was late we asked for pillows. There was a foul smell in room we came to realize it was a pillow that smelled like [censor]. Actual [censor]. I can go on explaining how horrible it was to stay there even when I was moved to anotber room that I had to book online. We checked out a day early and they told me it was late to check out and would send me a receipt by email. I will never step foot in that la quinta again.
customer service, drugs, and sunken beds
Location at 8504 Universal in Orlando, FL, room 212. Upon Check-in was notified NO shuttle service. Our room was part of SeaWorld package. While still in the lobby the pot smell was overwhelming. Definitely NOT a family friendly environment. When we got to our room both beds were sunken in and extremely uncomfortable. The carpet was disgusting. We checked out two days early due to horrible hotel conditions and spoke to Rebecca a manager. Rebecca apologized for the conditions and hopes to maybe get new beds. Emailed my travel agent asking never to recommend this location again.

I have 70 photos in my phone of different things going on at this location. They have a lot of drugs & prostitution going on at this location., housekeepers work 9.25-10 hours with only a 30 minute lunch not sure but doesn't seem fair.. She gives 20-22 rooms a day and threatens housekeepers to do them all or not show up to work.. I went to clean a room & and began scratching like crazy from fleas have pictures in my phone. And the next day it was on my board to clean and was never bombed.. The first change should be the gm..
