We had reservations at LaQuinta by Wyndham in Clifton Park NY. Our stay started out well on 8/14/21. After being out all day on 8/18/21, we came back to our room, and the door was open with the dead bolt keeping it from closing. I called the front desk and they tried to tell me that I didn't close it properly. I told them that that wasn't possible because housekeeping was in after we left for the day. They apologized and we thought that was the end of it. About an hour later we were lying down and someone just walked into our room without knocking. We were very startled by this and when someone from housekeeping called, the said they were told the room was empty and that the supervisor was checking it. We had just called them to complain about the door being left open, so of course we were still there.
Next, we were woken up at 12:30am on 8/18/21 by a dog barking, howling and crying. I called the front at @ 1 am and told the clerk about the dog. As I was speaking to him he hung up the phone, so I called back because I was now angry about the dog and about being basically hung up on. When no one answered I went to the front desk. The gentleman apologized and said he was investigating the incident, but no one answered the door. The dog continued to bark, howl and whine until @ 4:30 am. Needless to say we did not get much sleep. 8/18/21 we went to bed @10 pm. At @ 12:30 am 8/19/21, once again the same dog started barking again, oh but this time we were lucky, as the owners came home at 2:30am, right after my partner went to the front desk to complain yet again. We went and spoke to the manager in the morning to tell them that we were checking out early and that we wanted our money refunded for the sleepless nights and the rest of our stay. She agreed.
I just think that LaQuinta could have done a lot better than this. The hotel was given an excellent rating and that is the reason we stayed there. It definitely was not what I expected from a hotel with that rating. I will not be staying with LaQuinta again, nor will I recommend them to anyone.

On arrival on Aug 8th after midnight at Witchita Falls Central Expressway location desk clerk informed me I did not have a room and Central reservations 'don't know what rooms we have'. Desired outcome: Management rrspond and recognise that despite staffing challenges hiring so.ebody/anybody is not better than nobody if the help is chasing away customers with rude unprofessional behavior.
The safety of La Quinta Inns and Suites
On July 29 and July 30, 2021, I reserved a two nights stay at La Quinta Hotel in Fresno CA. Address: 2026 Tulare St. Fresno, CA. 93721. Tel [protected]. Reservation #[protected].
Since I was traveling to the area without knowing the safety in the area. I checked in late around 2:00 am in the morning. When I checked in, I was assigned a room in the 3rd floor room 337. I parked my car on the same side where my room is located. I locked all my belongings in the trunk of my car with a car alarm on. After a few hours, I came back to retrieve my belongings. My trunk was opened and all belongings were stolen. Nothing left over. I quickly reported to the hotel staff. They informed me that there is a hotel camera through out the building and they should be able to get the camera footage. They will review and check to see who stole my properties. They also reported that they have a security guard patroled the building from 6:00 pm to 6:00 am every night. They asked me to call back and talk to the manager Mr. Sal at 11:00 am on 7/30/21. But when I called back that day, Mr. Sal refused to talk to me. The clerk simply stated that he has no chance to review the camera yet.
On 07/31/21, I called back to talk to the hotel manager Ms. Rebecca. She informed me that the hotel camera couldn't detect anything. In addition, the security guard didn't see anything that night. It is unbelievable that the camera didn't detect anything and the security guard couldn't see anything while my car/the trunk was wide opened and all my belongings were all stolen.
Around the hotel there are homeless persons slept in all corners and on the stairs. The building smelt so bad with urines. Trashes were all over the places.
This hotel is very unsafe for customers to stay there. My properties were all stolen with a total lost about $12, 000.00 dollars. Therefore; I am asking that the hotel board and management team need to improve the safety for this hotel. It is useless to install a camera that is not working. And also useless to hire a security guard who couldn't guard anything. That security guard needs to be fired and the staff at the hotel need to be fired as well. even though, they still charged me for two nights. Due to safety reason, I can no longer stay there for the second night. They refused to refund me for the second night. This is terrible and unprofessionally business.
Even the hotel is unable to recover for my losses, I kindly ask for a partial refund for the night I didn't stay there. In addition, for the safety for other customers, I kindly ask that the hotel needs to improve the safety standard for this hotel. All security cameras need to be re-set. The building needs to be gated. and the security guard needs to be more proactive. Don't just hire a security guard to go there to sleep.

My wife stayed a LaQuinta hotel in Lake City Flordia on Jun27 2021. During the night there were girls running up and down the hallways laughing and screaming. Contacted the front desk with this problem and was told that they would take care of the problem. The problem persisted and another call was made to the desk. They said again that they would take care of the noise . They never did anything about the noise. Around 3 in the morning the noise quieted down. My wife was on vacation in between the end of chemotherapy and up coming surgery and needed a good night sleep. With all of the noise in the hallways my wife DID NOT GET ANY SLEEP. They decided to check out at 7 in the morning to get out of the hotel Upon leaving the hotel my wife spoke to front desk and filed a complaint with what happened to the night. I contacted Mr Sullivan manager of the hotel and he informed me that the only thing he could do was offer some reward point, Sent a EMail to Mr Sulivan on July 13 and told him that we paid $164. 64 and his offer of reward points was unacceptable. I had a phone conversation with Mr Sullivan on July 29th and went over with him all the problems with his hotel. He then said he could offer me a 40 dollars credit and after further discussion he raised his offer to $60.00 and would not offer any more which I accpeted and was not happy about the whole situation. We paid $161.64 dollars a night at your hotel for a QUIET ROOM AND A GOOD NIGHTS SLEEP WHICH did not happen. The only acceptable out come would be a full refund for the services your hotel did not provide. I look forward to hear your response. Thanks for your help

Credit card charged for a 4 day stay when we checked out after less than 10 minutes
We checked into La Quinta Inn and Suites Colorado Springs Garden of the Gods on July 15th 2021 with our children - going up to the room in the elevator there was a strong smell of urine. Once arrived in the room it smelt musty, there was pubic hair in the bath and hair around the sink. The room was not clean, the hotel itself was very run down. We immediately called the front desk and informed them we were not going to stay but check out and find another hotel.
We were told to come on down and check out that there would be no charge as we had not stayed. I returned the key cards, the guy behind the desk went to speak to his manager came back and typed a few things in on the computer and said we were good to go. 4 days later a charge of $880 and some change was made to our credit card.
We have been in touch with the hotel and it appears the guy who supposedly checked us out didn't do it correctly so the charge went through. This is obviously the fault of the hotel. We have contacted the hotel numerous times. The manager is now avoiding my husbands calls. I would like a refund of the money that we were charged .

I'm staying at La Quinta in Sherman Tx. This is a filthy unsafe place to stay. Thanks to my company that got my reservation set up. This is the second room they moved me and I been cleaning and securing my door cause it doesn't lock properly. I always stayed in La Quinta hotels but this is ridiculous. Even the side door is broke and anyone can come in, Pictures! omg.

I drove in to Savannah, Georgia on July 18 and walked into the hotel to get a room and the front desk gentleman took one look at me and my family and proceeded to tell me that the hotel was booked. I have experienced subtle discrimination but never on this level. I walked out of the lobby, and called the hotel from the parking lot and proceeded to make a reservation for a room. When I told the person what had just happened he could not explain what had happened.

I recently stayed at the La Quinta at 13825 Terra View Trail, Louisville, Kentucky 40245, United States. My confirmation number was [protected] I stayed July 10th-15th. I booked the hotel through hotels.com and check-in was the first issue. They overcharged my account and then when I tried to stay another night (the 15th) the lady at the front desk had no idea how to do that. She told me that I would have to "figure it out by myself" After I added the other night I get a call at 11 am on the 14th saying I'm late for checkout even though I already added another night. She then called me 2 other times saying I needed to come downstairs to help her figure out my payment. Then after the 3 calls, I get 2 charges on my account for 150$ After I call back she says none of my transactions are going through. None of these charges were pending they over-drafted my account and the lady at the front desk did not seem to see the problem. After I stayed another night I see that my fiance got a 377$ charge on his card (his card was not the card on file for the stay) we used his card once for a coke at the front desk. After I called the front desk to tell them they charged the wrong card and gave him an overdraft fee the lady gave no sympathy and said "I cannot do anything about the charge until my manager comes in tomorrow" I understood her manager already left but to have that bad of a system that If somebody gets charged on their card they have to wait until the manager returns the next day! I called La Quinta customer service on and off for 3 hours and got nowhere! No one could help until 7 am the next day. This was the worst experience I have had at La Quinta. Even after I checked out they still said I owed them 377$ because my original payment didn't go through! So now I have to wait until my claims from the bank come back to pay the hotel..

I stayed at the one in Phoenix 911 South 48th Street Tempe checked in Sunday just checked out today was there for 4 days 5 days total room was a disaster carpet looks really bad like they never cleaned it after two previous tenants head to tails 1 Cup for coffee no coffee no sugar so many drug addicts around could not sleep I told the front desk to move rooms because the people next door to me where drug addicts they wanted to charge me extra for moving rooms they called it upgrading I call it peace of mind from Tucson spent a lot of money there will never ever stay here again

I've been staying at at the La Quinta Inn Phoenix for a few weeks I have two service animals that are registered they are not aggressive in any way shape or form. I went to rebook a room when I was in the middle of moving from one room to the the other room and I have all my belongings with me because I do not have a house so this is my only way of having a shelter over my head so I was very hot and I got a glass of water from a lady i had meet that was staying there as well. Then the manager said that I was not to book a room and I need to get my stuff and get off the property because he said my dogs for aggressive therefore I asked him do you have any written complaints or documents to show me this or a video and he said no but it doesn't matter your still not able to book a room here. I've done nothing here but sleep and keep to myself and the way he talked to me was just uncalled for when it's a hundred and some degrees outside sweating so bad that I'm going to pass out. I want a drink of water so the lady that I got it from got yelled at for giving it to me was absurd.I think he has to be inhumane to think that people don't have friends or meet new people at hotel rooms not all people are bad and he has no people skills to be in his position for a Hospitality manager. And now I cannot rent a room here and I'm very hot outside with my family which would be my two dogs and my boyfriend it is over a hundred degrees and I have nowhere to go because he wanted to tell me my dogs we're aggressive with no documentation or proof that this occurred so therefore he needs to be removed from his position or showing that he is wrong he needs to formally apologize to me and take me off of it do not run to the list because this is not okay if my animals die and I die in the heat it's not on me it's on your staff members

My husband and I checked into our hotel late at night, & the room was disgusting. There was what looked like blood splatters around the room, stains on the sheets, a dead roach in the middle of the floor, a bug in the room, and so much more. By far the worst hotel. And when we went to ask for a refund, the front desk told us to call in the morning because she didn't know what she was doing.

Taking unauthorized transactions off my card over a month later from when I stayed there
I stayed at the la Quinta in Lancaster pa around June 9th and they tried to say my room smelled like smoke well yeah I just walked in from smoking so a month later they take $121 off my card on July 9th and now another $115 on July 11 they have no reason to keep taking money off my card I didn't authorize any transactions!
