I purchased a La-Z-y Boy Spa from Costco Canada. What a nightmare. Costco has been great though they are standing behind the warranty that came with the hot tub to pick up the lack of customer service lazy boy and tatum provide. Meantime La-Z-y boy and Tatum Manufacturing who both manufactured the tubs are leaving there customers high and dry. La-Z-y Boy who claims to have high standards of quality and customer satisfaction could care less if our tubs can be fixed or can even get parts. They told me they are wiping there hands clean of the situation and pay for my own parts. Tatum has gone into bankruptcy I wonder why (they build crap), Lazy Boy is headed there too wonder why (poor quality and poor customers service) . I also had nothing but problems with this tub. Many things wrong to many to list Stay away from anything built by lazy boy because they are lazy on customer service and quality.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
I just found surface cacks in my tub, emptying it now to take back to Costco...
what did Costco do for you?
Well I tell you I I was nervous about all this talk about my Lazy Boy spa. I needed new pillows because the originals cracked. I went to costco and they said that even though the TATUM spa company that made the tubs went out of business Costco stands behind the warranty 100%. I just had to order the parts from SPASHOPPER.com or [protected] who had me on file from my registration, and submit the bill to Costco for a full refund.
what do you expect
The material of the lazy boy chairs and what in it is questionable by my daughter and myself. i have acquired a cough in the last 3 years that no doctor can explain. My husband died from cancer last year of the sinus track, etc. Now that he is gone my daughter sits in his chair and has also acquired a cough as mine. Please e-mail my daughter and assure her that there is no problem with the material in the chair. We will also notify the better business office and put it on record of our concern. These 2 lazy boy chairs were purchased at least 5 years ago.
My name is Bill Wendler and I purchased a Lazy Boy wall hugged recliner a little over a year ago and have been very unhappy with it since the day it was delivered.
1. It wobbles; Lazy Boy says it's normal and they won't do anything about the problem. I'm 67 years old and have had a few recliners in my lifetime and none of the recliners I've owned in the past wobble like a Lazy Boy.
2. It has dropped padding from underneath the recliner since the day it was delivered and the padding is now almost worn out. I'm not a big man; I only weigh 185 pounds. I've never had a problem like this with any other brand--and I've owned some pretty cheap recliners when I was a young man struggling to make ends meet. In any event, Lazy Boy says it's now out of warranty since it's over a year old so they won't do anything.
3. I've tried to make numerous appointments over the past year but technicians have failed to show up and/or appointments have been cancelled and/or changed and/or Lazy Boy Customer Service does not return calls.
Bottom line: Think twice before you buy a Lazy Boy product! I'll never buy another Lazy Boy product!
