Hi there,
Its been highly disappointing to say that the service I received from badboy is the worst experience I ever had in my life.
Just a month ago I bought my first home of my life and I was so excited to buy all the basic furniture I need in my new house. All my excitement went in pain and frustrating back and forth communication as majority of the item was received in bad condition.
Problem-1 in sectional sofa one of the leg cannot be screwed because the threads are completely stripped.
Problem-2 in bedroom set, one of the door of headboard cannot be screwed because the threads are completely stripped.
Problem-3 in bedroom set, on right side of the bed the manufacturer broke the laminate and glued back in which is like literally visible.
So I emailed all this to service department at service@nooobody.com. I waited for couple of days and still no reply then I went to burlington store and met the manager to describe about it. He told me that service@nooobody.com doesn't exist anymore its now social@nooobody.com. I was like then why they didn't change it online. Funny and frustrating too. I kept myself calm and took manager's help to sort this problem. With the help of manager my complain was directed to the right person and they reached me next day.
For problem-1 they booked a technician for me who is not able to come yet because his timing and my timing doesn't work. If I take off from work wasting my one day salary and tell him to come then my problem can be solved funny right loose $200 from work and fix the problem after spending so much money on buying it.
For problem-2 franca from service department helped me to get a replacement headboard after I had a back and forth of emails and calls. Seems like this problem was satisfactorily resolved. But nope, the delivery driver was arguing with my wife and fighting with my wife that "I have to first look the damage and if it is too much damage than only I will give the replacement headboard because it is painful for me to take the headboard from 3rd floor to truck and bring the new one in". He literally went into the bedroom to look for the damage. I mean who the hell he is to take that decision after it was all confirmed and approved by service department. He started fighting with my wife. Funny but super frustrating. Every time he came he behaved so badly that I was literally pissed off.
For problem-3 franca told me to have the right side of the bed replaced but I told her that I don't want to go through the process of replacement for right section of bed because its too heavy for the guys to bring in and out and when they delivered that first time they literally dropped on the floor so badly that everything underneath the ceiling was shaking crazily. So I asked franca if there is any other alternative and she told me she can provide me $100 gift certificate and I was ok as it is reasonable in comparison to the damage. So I replied her that I would like to go with $100 gift certificate and its been more than a week no progress yet. I did a follow up e-mail no reply yet. Super frustrating.
So yesterday I got the delivery of computer desk and the replacement headboard. The headboard seems to be ok with just few scratches and feels like its a used one. But the computer desk ohhh my god! As soon as I open the box to assemble it first piece damage, ok a little damage hmmm I can work with it. After that I removed second piece trust me that was damaged too. After that one by one 3rd damage 4th damage 5th damage 6th damage, literally each and every part I got for computer desk is damaged. How can a company be like so careless about there product? I wonder if there is even a quality check procedure in this company or not. So after waiting for 2 weeks to get the computer desk I cannot use it because no one would even take this for free.
There are still small issues which we literally ignored because we understand that mistakes happen. The list of my small issues that I ignored are:
Issue-1 the delivery people damaged my stairs and some of the part is even broken. I also noticed a crack on one of the stairs.
Issue-2 coffee table its not leveling properly
Issue-3 the dining table after putting together its off located from one end.
Issue-4 dresser, mirror and bedroom set has visible scratches and looks like its been used by someone and given to me.
All this minor things I literally ignored. But now I cannot I feel its a big liability issue in using the badboy furniture. I wonder if the glass on coffee table and dining table are actually tempered or just glass which can break anytime and result in injury. I wonder if the bedroom and sofa furniture is reliable or not what if one day someone is sitting and sleeping on it and it falls apart. It can result in serious injuries and life threatening too.
It is my humble request take all your furniture back and refund me everything I paid. I don't trust anything from badboy and its too much dangerous too keep it in my home. My entire experience is so much painful that it took away all my happiness of having the first home of my life. I repeat I want everything to be taken away as it is dangerous and risky to use all the furniture and I dont trust anything anymore. Someone referred me to badboy but I love all my family and friends and I cannot put there life in danger I will tell everyone I know that using badboy's furniture is risking your life and the guest who come to visit you. Please take everything back I cannot handle it anymore. It is waste of money time and health.
frigidaire professional appliances set
We bought 5 years of warranty on our appliances set. These appliances were dilivered to us in January 2016. We still have 2 years of warranty left.
We called 2 times the technician for our stove which was making clicking sound after use of oven. It still has the problem of going on and off again and again.
Called twice for fridge for the display panel not working and also started getting crackes inside the freezer section. A technician came and put the tape on the cracks which does not look like professionals job. (Need to be fixed properly)
For OTR microwave display need to be fixed. We were told to go to store and get the new OTR microwave because it's expensive for them to fix it.
The dishwasher is perfectly fine because we rarely use it.
We would like to replace all these 3 items not only OTR microwave alone.
We emailed the person from bad boys so many time since December but still no answer from her.
Can some one please help us out to solve these problems. I would really appreciate it.

I bought a sofa and a loveseat in boxing day (worth 1850). As it did not arrive timely, I contacted them and asked for full refund. I was told I can not get refund as all sales are final. Every time I communicated with them they just send a single line message all sales are final. It was not mentioned in the product site.
Still waiting for refund after filing a transaction dispute to my credit card company.

Bought a fridge, and bedroom set with mattress from this horrible company. The following were delivered damaged:
Dresser - visible wood chip + mirror trim on both corners are cracked + bottom drawer is broken
Chest - mirror trim on both bottom corners are cracked
Mattress - (from my other email) was unpacked by the delivery guys.
Furthermore, the delivery guys (Samuel L) were completely unprofessional as they damaged walls carrying the furniture up the stairs (they were told before hand that the walls were just painted), they also decided to climb on top of the railings to maneuver the furniture which loosened the railing, they left packaging garbage on our neighbors lawn, finally they also decided to talk to my wife in a way that made her really uncomfortable to be alone with them in our own home!
Fridge - why should we go purchase a product to clean the glue leftover from a delivery made by you guys regardless if it came like that from the manufacture. We paid for warranty and its bad boy's policy to provide quality guarantee.
Also the managers at the Shoppers world location Madia and Manny are completely unprofessional as well as they have been avoiding our calls and disregarding our issues and blaming defects on us when they clearly know they are in the wrong.
Still no word from head office as Franca the Manager keeps ignoring us. Great customer care Bad Boy!

My name is Ken and today December 7, 2018 at 10:15am I received my the delivery for my very first purchase of furniture at my home. As its the holiday season and Christmas is fast approaching the new addition of my sofa to my newly renovated home was very exciting. Unfortunately when the delivery guys brought my sofa into my home they didn't approached it with the excitement my family and I shared for our new sofa. They didn't seem to care much at all, they just wanted to get the sofa in and get out as fast as they could. Bringing the sofa down to the basement and setting up they caused damage to the surrounding areas and the physical damage to the sofa. Also after the took the sofa back they left garbage all over the front of my house and room they were setting the sofa up in. I've attached photos of the sofa and the damage caused. When I kindly pointed out the blemishes on the sofa they said "well we had a hard time getting it down the stairs that's what happens with complicated situations." Keep in mind my house is the same as all other houses I would imagine. It has a landing and one turn to go down the stairs, I don't see how this would of been a problem. All u needed to do is be patient and turn the sofa. Im genuinely not impressed with the service I received from the delivery nor the attitude he shared with me. I like to think im an easy going person but when you're invited in my home to do your job id like for my space to be treated with respect as u would your own home. I sent the sofa back and id like to receive a replacement for the damaged sofa compensation for the damages and to be honest I don't feel too inclined to pay for the delivery as its free not only online but the first time out it was horrible.

I never do this... But Lastman's Bad Boy is by far the worst company I have ever dealt with. As a result of their negligence and lack of concern for customer experience I will not have living room furniture for Christmas.
I ordered furniture in the London store on labour day weekend and was told it would be 6 weeks for delivery. At about the 5 week mark I get a call saying the fabric is back ordered and won't be at the factory until November 30. At this point I asked for my money back to purchase elsewhere and they refused. I speak to them today to find out i won't be getting the furniture before Christmas. Now even with a refund I will have no furniture for Christmas based on reasonable turn around times from other companies.
I have had agents at the store refuse to get a manager, tell me a manager will call me back and then fail to do so, and hang up on me.
Do yourself a favour and buy literally anywhere else.
Hi I bought a couch from your store and when it was delivered the delivery guys said that it wouldnt fit in the elevator and that they couldnt bring it up the stairwell. I waited 3 weeks for this couch, I'm a single mom of 3 and just got an apartment after leaving a tough situation where I had to leave my stuff behind. I saved for this couch and my kids and I had been sitting on cushions on the floor while we waited for this to be delivered. Now I'm so angry! I am currently in the front lobby of my apartment with this couch And stuck in this predicament.when I called your store I was told that I cant get a refund either and that I would have to re select a new couch that is smaller. Well this couch isnt that big so I dont want to re select a couch and hope It fits and also wait for delivery once again. Plus I got this on sale and there aren't many couches in your showroom that are the same price and small. So this is ridiculous! Also I have never heard of a company that wont deliver up the stairs. I'm beyond livid. I am writing this as I'm sitting in the lobby with this couch not knowing what to do with it now. This experience has put me off from buying from your store sadly. Sincerely a very angry customer.

I ordered a dishwasher online which i tried to cancel the next day. I was told they would only offer me store credit, which i reluctantly accepted. I then ordered another dishwasher using the store credit. The next day i received an email stating the dishwasher was on back order and it would arrive in November sometime. When i tried to cancel the order and request a refund they refused to cancel stating an "all sales final" policy. I am still trying to get this resolved but you a can't speak to anyone, it just goes to voicemail. When by email i asked where in their policy it says "All sales final" i get sent a link that only talks about after the item is delivered. This clearly is not my situation as I have not received any item, it is not even in the warehouse yet.

Terrible experience and badly impact on my feeling. I bought a 3 pieces sofa in Lastman's bad boy store located in the 1119 Kennedy Rd, Scarborough, ON M1P 2K8, Canada. Lastman's Bad boy's sales and manager are so aggressive to make sales with you. They give me a feeling of robbery. It's common for sales to eager to sell products but THEY HAVE NO PATIENT AND RESPECT TO YOU ESPECIALLY AFTER YOU MADE PAYMENT. Do you know why? Because once you leave your signature on the order form, it means you can't cancel it anymore and the money certainly drop into bad boy's pocket no matter how you are not satisfied with their post-sale services or products or delivery duration. The most tricky and unacceptable means are that the sales never highlight this key point when making order for you. The words "final sales no refund" are very small and hard to be noticeable. They mislead you to sign and no any explanation. We know that for a new house, many things should be organized and the furniture size problem is very common. The store let me wait over one month for shipment. But after home, I found 3 pieces leather sofa are too big for my small living room and I asked to cancel loveseat of my sofa, the sales denied immediately because he said you ordered them and cannot be refund in cash. It can turn to store credit. I bought lots of products from bad boy and no more furniture needed in the near future. So I don't want store credit. I went to the store and talked to store manager. The store manager is a Brown-skinned man at the age of 50 years old and he talked to my husband and when I want to ask a question, he said what I explained has explained and he left. He DOESN'T respect to customers and DOESN'T willing to listen to me because only his time is valuable. So I suddenly understand why anther employees do not respect to you as well. The company's culture is completely MONEY oriented and using tricky method to protect their sales. So don't go there because you will be ignoring after your order made.
Add key dates: I bought a 3 pieces sofa on August of 2018. The scheduled delivery date is September 29th, 2018. I try to cancel one of pieces far before delivery around the early September.

I ordered a chair back in July I believe and was supposed to get it a few weeks later.. we received a call to tell us that the chair was damaged so they were ordering me a new one and told me to wait till sometime in October. Well I just received this chair on sunday October 21st and it was damaged and missing pieces. On top of that when i called warranty they pretty much said they dont believe me. I would like a full refund or a refund of some sort. I wish I never shopped at badboys. It's been nothing but a horrible experience.

Purchased Two Mattresses and a queen size box Spring at Burlington Location.
The salesperson was T. Findlay and manager G.Salter.
Box spring as per delivery guys would not go through the door and they took it back. to be replaced with split queen size.
The salesperson told me that the split box springs would cost me an additional $ 200.00. they refused to refund the money that I paid for the box spring and issued a store credit instead.
I refused that offer and decided to buy a platform bed instead.
When the bed arrived the package was missing the slates.
Went to the store to pick up the slats, was told that I did not buy a platform bed, I actually bought a bed which requires a box spring?
This made no sense, I asked to see the salesperson who sold me the platform bed and was told she will not be in till Friday.
I requested to speak to the store manager, a man named Ron claiming to be the manager refused to do anything for me. I told him I will contact their head office he rudely and (shouting at me) told me there is nothing he can do, I can complain to the HO if I want to, they will do nothing for you.
Rest of the sales people stood around laughing at me.
I complained to the head office yesterday and have not heard back.
I will wait for 48 hours and then take this up with the Ministry of consumers affairs.
Despite several promises, nothing has been done to resolve this matter.
Still no resolution, Ron the manager either avoids calls or gives you maybe tomorrow lines.
After getting senior management involved store has promised to resolve the matter latest by next Tuesday.

No indication that the sales are final and no refund and this is very important in Canada because many people from different country doesn't undrestand English very well and My husband international student got very bad experience, the sofa didn't fit in my apartment door was small and they took the sofa back, we ask for refund and they say no because was on sale! I was a great customer since 2009, till now. Don't believe anything they said about their warranty and their customer service. I bought a new recliner couch and chair in November 2017. It broke down in April. Now its August and still getting the run around. I called today. They till don't know anything. The lady who was dealing with my case, she was supposed to call me back 2 weeks ago to let me know the status and if nothing has come in, she will do something to fix the problem. Today I called and found out she quit her job and sent me to someone else and don't have a report of what she said, she would do for me. Even she didn't even call me. We bought a king size bed and a king size mattress from Bad Boy Ancaster store. It was delivered on Saturday, Aug. 4, 2018. My wife slept on it that night, but she wakes up next morning with her back pain. We went to the store the next day -- Sunday Aug. 5, meet the sale person who sale the mattress to us, and the manager (I don't have their names but I guess both of them are Indian Canadian). They refuse to refund us, and said all mattress sale are final in North America. (They did not tell us all the mattress sales are final when we buy the mattress.)
When we buy the mattress, we asked them the return policy, they said if we are not satisfied and call or come to store within 48 hours, the product can be returned. But they refuse they said that.
We immediately go to the Costco store in the same shopping center in Ancaster and ask them the mattress return policy, the answer is that we can return the mattress within one year if the mattress is not stained.
I am not satisfied with the customer service. We want return the mattress and get our money back.

Went in to speak to Christy S the sales manager and he says he can't do anything sorry. Christy S from kennedy and lawerence location is very disrespectful. They had the full part there and would not give it to me because they want to scam more people to buy their broken products.

My fridge broke down. I called service department. They told me service company would call me in 2 days. They called me back in 4 days. Service guy comes 2 days later. Next day I have to call to follow up. Turns out they won't be able to get part for 1-2 weeks. Finally after calling service department and being on hold For long periods of time they would hang up. Eventually after many tries I spoke to some fellow and after having to explain to him numerous times that it's been over a week and me and my family are without a fridge for over a week he decides to talk to the manager Rimpi. She advises him to give me in store credit. So I go over to the Keele and finch store only to find the same size fridge is $500 more than I paid for the one I have now which obviously I can't afford to pay. Another three days go by because it's a long weekend and no one can help cause it's closed. Again I call costumer service and it takes me numerous tries and hang ups and I finally get to speak with Rimpi who is severely frustrated with because I didn't buy the fridge and she's stuck dealing with my situation and I explain to her again that it's been over a week with out a fridge. Over and over she explained to me in frustration that those are my only options. Either take the in store credit or wait till part comes in. I stress over and over that I can't afford and We can't be stuck with out a fridge. She puts me on hold and comes back on the phone and tells me she will have a loaner fridge delivered tomorrow. The day after I received no call from her so I decided to call destrict manager who tells me he'll get me a fridge the next. I then asked them if they could take fridge that needs to be repaired because I don't have the room in my apartment and he says nothing he can do I have to speak to the frustrated Rimpi again. Fi nally again I get to speak to her again and when I mention that there's is no room in my apartment for two fridge she looses her patience again and suggests I won't get a loaner.
All I'm asking is that someone with some reasoning can call me and help me through this difficult time. Me and my family have been without a fridge for over 2 weeks living out of a cooler. After I paid for the gold plan. Please help me.

Received a call the next day and was told that the fridge he purchased was no longer available and he would have to pick out a different model. Done. Delivered 4 days later. Dropped it off in kitchen and left. This is what they left. Not what he purchased. Offered $75 refund.See pictures below.

Hello Mike;
I am sure you are tired of dealing with this, as am I, but it's the principle of the issue that has me upset. Your company is comparing apples to oranges when you sell me something saying it is tax free, and then for your price match add the tax to your competitors price, which obviously lowers the amount your customers should receive back.
When I was at your Barrie store a couple of weeks ago looking for a couch, upon entering the store a salesman approached me, and my daughter, and announced that they had a tax free event on. Told us to have a look around and let him know if we needed help, he also pointed out that there was a clearance section upstairs if we were interested. We looked around and eventually went upstairs where I found a lovely leather couch, which I purchased. When the salesman wrote up the order he added the tax, when we questioned why he was adding the tax at a tax free event, I was told that was only on regular priced items and this couch was already reduced so he had to add in the tax, when I hesitated he boldly added that the company boosts their prices, so the tax is already added into the to their prices for events like this because as he explained "the government still has to get their money".
As I broke down the prices it became very clear that is exactly what Bad Boys is doing adding the tax to the base price, then telling people they are not being charged tax.
Please see chart at bottom this shows the prices for both stores with and without tax and the differences in prices, it shows this is exactly what Bad Boys is doing.
This is very misleading to your customers, and at worst false advertising!
I have never complained to a single company EVER, but this I just can't swallow.
I am also forwarding this to Rimpi Sharma (Manager of Customer Care), and Blayne Lastman.
Please be aware if this issue is not resolved, I will file a formal complaint with the BBB, and with the Advertising Standards of Canada, as well as posting on Facebook, Twitter etc.
Please understand this is by no means a threat of any kind simply the only recourse I will have, so other people don't fall into this trap to, if you don't honour what your advertising said, and $14.73 is not even close to matching the price
I have noticed since I started to look into this quite a few unhappy customers on different forums complaining about Bad Boys(most unfortunately with little resolve it appears) I find it a shame that the integrity of your stores over the years have plummeted. I grew up around Pharmacy and Danforth and remember my mother and father doing a great deal of business with your store then, too bad things have changed so much!
