Leor Skin Care Stealing from my account

They took internet order for sample at 5.99. The same day they used my card to draw 87.78 pounds and again same day 89.93. Then due to missing my statements and not knowing what they were doing The parent company ( SMYSKIN) based in China, a month later drew 93.27 pounds and 95.55 pounds on the same day. I was unable to claim back on my credit card for the fraud due to time lapse. They ignore all attempts at contact. The advertisement was in the Daily Mail 5th Feb. 2015. No Products have been recieved.

Leor Skin Care Stealing money from my account

Free sample was a fraud - My account was debited with unauthourised amounts of £89.93 x 2 - I complained to them and asked my bank to block all attempts to take money from my account. I asked my bank to block but still they managed to allow another withdrawal for £89.93...after much wrangling with said bank they reluctantly agreed to refund me and agreed they had not acted on my instruction. I thought that was the end of it and did not hear anything more from Leor. However today, which is incidentally 4 months since I thought the matter was finished I discovered a strange transaction on my account - this time there is no vendor details attached but the amount taken was again £89.93 ! - The scammers have used my bank details to steal more money however this time they have even tried to disguise themselves ! I now have to battle again with my bank, who are clearly at fault of a security breach - I am going to have to close my account because of this! BEWARE of this scam,

Leor Skin Care Taken additional money from account

They have taken a total of £360.00 from my account after I asked for a trial of their products total cost about £6.00 I did not authorise this my bank has advised that there is small print which says if you do not cancel within 14 days they will send the products. I have only just noticed don't know how I missed it that in December 14 they took 2 payments had I received any products I would have realised for approx £190.00 and would have cancelled then they took another £190.00 in February. I have of course got the bank to stop ant future payments and as I have not received the goods then Barclays after I have completed paperwork will chase them I am so disgusted.

Hi, as you are from the UK have a look at the EU Directive of 2011 on consumer rights. If you did not receive any goods yet send them an email that you are withdrawing and rely on this Directive. It tells you that your withdrawal period starts running from the moment you have received the goods. You haven't so this means you can legally withdraw from the contract and just ask for your money back. That is what I did today (making it very clear that they were acting against consumer protection regulation) and they send me an email 10 minutes later telling me they had refunded my money and it would be in my account within 1 to 5 days. Cheers

Leor Skin Care Dishonest marketing / scam

On 27th november i fell for the 'risk - free' trial on a website and paid £4. 95 on my bank card. As soon as i had done this the 'terms and conditions' popped up in very small print and i realised this was a dubious scheme. Within 15 hours of placing the order (And before the money had been taken from my account or the package could have left the distribution centre) i telephoned to cancel the order but this was refused. However i was given the address to return the package and assured that provided it was received by them within 30 days of placing the order, there would be no further charge. The package arrived on 2nd december and i immediately returned it with the contents unopened to the address given on the order sheet (The same as had been given to me by phone) . I notified the company by email that i had done this and retained proof of postage. Today (16th december) the package was returned to me from royal mail marked 'addressee gone away'. I telephoned leor customer care to inform them of this and that i would not incur any additional postage if they wanted it back. After consultation with his supervisor, the agent told me to keep the package and confirmed that there would be no further charge or shipment. I suspect that a non - existent address was given either in the hope that on return to me i would be persuaded to remain in the scheme 'at a discount' or that i would eventually be charged the outrageous sum threatened because the package had not been returned to them within time. I have now opened the paltry contents. I estimate the value of the 3 small plastic containers of 'cosmetic' to be in the region of £3 - 4. I have still not seen a price list of their products which says it all!7

Product information is enclosed with each shipment I have had three to date. The value of anything is subjective but whilst the products are in lightweight inexpensive containers the quality of the product is clearly evidenced with use and do improve and brighten the skin as marketed with no greasy residue.

Leor Skin Care Dishonest

Do not be taken in by this company . They will sent you a trail package and then start taking money out of your account.
I foolishly requested a trial package and should have realised that why they requested payment for postage and package that this was not right.
They have taken over £80 out of my account . I tried to find out were it says on the terms and conditions that you sign up for payment and but there is nothing. I have reported this to the bank and they will dispute the payments but I think further action needs to be taken and get this company put to rights.
There is no contact number just an email address very convenient. Be warned people do not be taken in .

I have similarly just been ripped off by leor skin care, ordered 2 of their risk free 30 day trials, and foolishly never checked the T&Cs correctly where it states they will sign you up for an auto-order system if u don't phone to cancel within 14 days, on day 15 they took over £170 out of my bank.. 3 weeks before Christmas as well! Fair to say I am fuming.. No answer yet to my emails.. Worse still the T&Cs also say further payments will be taken after day 45 and day 60! On to my bank to stop any future payments - not sure I will get anything back though. Rip off merchants - DO NOT USE!

I've just been scammed by leor 'free trial' but suspected something was not quite right when after ordering my free trial and paying postage, I clicked the link to check terms andcconditions and was redirected to a dating site! Ive since called my credit card and discovered they have not only taken a payment of £3.95 but two further payments, one for £1.93 and another for £3.02! I have had to cancel my credit card (meaning I won't be able to use it to buy Christmas presents) and will have to get in contact with the credit card disputes tomorrow to get my money back! I've replied to the email leor asks you not to, telling them I do not want their products. I just wish I'd read the comments on thus site first. I wonder if Amanda holden realises her name is being used for this scam

Leor Skin Care Misleading advertising

Leor skin care Risk Free trial postage £4.95 The misleading advertising I took at face value. After giving my bank card details gor postage, the terms popped up in my face. Inread nonsence figures like £89.99 upwards to £300 monthly if not returned within 14 days. I immediately cancelled ans appologised for my mistake as I had just read Visa as I have a Visa Debit Card and thier requirment was a Visa Credit card, plus I pointed out I did not like some of thier terms.
Shortly after, having disregarded my cancellation, they emailed me saying they were going to send the package and not to reply to that email for security reasons. They only hafbone email adress which is customer help. Of course I replied to that email immediately and sent a seperate email reiterating I had cancelled.
That was last Friday. On Monday they apparently rang my mobile 4 times in desperation and emailed me twice telling me to phone thrm. I just reiterated and refered them to my earlier emails canceling. They said they had cancelled it and to retun the package by the 12th od December, next Friday. I said once more I would not be intimidated into accepting a package which was cancelled and which I did not have on order. On Tuesday they sent an email saying they had just posted the package etc. I made it clear I wasn't accepting a package I didn't have on order but was sure the postman would know what to do with it. Wednesday another email telling me to ring them with my concerns as soon as I got thier email. I replied I did not have any concerns but they should have for using misleading advertising. Further that thier tactics are harrasment and I would not be accepting any package which I cancelled last Friday and they chose to post on Tuesday knowing it was cancelled and I would not accept in. Thursday the the postman came and went with him, I told him I didn't order anything it must be scammers.
Nothing went over the phone, I have everything black on White. They managed to filch £4.95 off my account as it must have been pending when I got the bank on Mondax to block them as they hadnt taken it off at that time of the day. Even if they manage to steal a pitance off every one like a dog begging for scraos it must add up to a lucrative free meal ticket. . Facebook blocked me fir posting my experience with Leor skin cream. They unblocked it after a few hours of putting me in the naughty corner. They then removed my post about them having blocked me for posting my experience to warn Facebooks other users so they don't get scammed too. Leor advertise on Facebook so they are enabling them to scam other Facebook users. I have contacted Facebook and told them they need reporting for allowing a scam to be advetised on there and asked whats in it for them. I pointed out its no secret Leor scam people as thats posted on various sites on google.co.uk search. Not google.com as tge scammers adverise on there.

Leor Skin Care They started to steal from us

My sister and I ordered skin care products from the company Leor Skin Care. We had the horrible experience, ‘coz they charged us and provided the confirmation info, but after 4 days they started to steal money from our account. After that we haven’t received this order from them as well as they continued to take money and ignored our emails, we decided to stop them and hoped that someone would help us. Scam, so stay away from them and post comments.

I wish I'd read all this six months ago as I too have been "taken in" by the not-so-free-trial and have been battling ever since with this company to get my money back. They agreed to refund me half of the £160 they took unauthorised from my credit account. The ad was misleading and I told them so, saying I thought this was a scam, as I did not see the terms and conditions until I had given my credit card details, by which time it was too late. Am now feeling despondent after seeing these reviews and realise all my efforts to contact the Company were a complete waste of time. So now it's off to the bank to see what they can do for me. I do feel for all of us now that the anger has subsided.

I to have suffered at the hands of leorskincare, they took two large ammounts out of my account £89 on 3rd December and a further amount of £87 on the 4th of december 2014, all this without my consent whats so ever, i am a pensioner and leorskincare.have caused me so much distress and financial difficulty i am constantly sending them emais as they promised to refund me my monies on four occasions, they say it gone into my account give me a transaction number but its just all lies, my bank have even sent them a letter stating the refund not gone in my account, this company just dont seem to care whats so ever and probably getting very wealthy from people like ourselves. I just dont know how they are getting away with this, its theft, they say in the advert its a RISK FREE sample, its not risk free its basically a scam is there such thing as a legal scam? Why this company not been taken to court is beyond me, or why trading standards not been informed. They need as much bad publicity as we can give them i wouldn't want anyone else to loose there hard earned money in this way, they basically robin hoods.i will continue to fight for the money they took out of my account know matter how long it takes me, i know they are trying to wear me down but my fight will go on. So sorry for you people out there that have had this awfull thing done to you.

For people living in the EU!: I never even received my first "free trial skin care kit". So the moment I noticed Léor took 87, 87 pounds from my account I called them. The man I spoke to was friendly, but told me that the terms and conditions state that because I didn't cancel within 14 days I entered into a long term contract and they would send me the product every month. I told him I was pretty sure that what they were doing was against the law and that I would call back once I gathered some more information. He told me the best he could do was send me a new product and get me a deduction of 25 %. Of course this was more than unacceptable. I recalled the European Directive of 2011 for consumer rights and I read it again. What they are doing is clearly against this Directive for multiple reason. E.g. You have 14 days withdrawal right from the moment you receive the product (didn't receive any product yet, so these 14 days haven't expired yet); there are certain formal requirements that have to be met; it is insufficient to put certain information in there terms and conditions which are only accessible via there website (as this is not a durable medium according to the European Court of Justice) + not all required information is put into there terms and conditions. So this gives you more than 12 months (!) time to withdraw or 14 days from the moment they provide this information. Withdrawal means they have to reimbursed you, and as I didn't receive any product yet so there was no obligations on my side. I told them this explicitly (stated the articles they breached and why) and 10 minutes later I received an email back stating they had reimbursed my 87, 87 pound on my credit card and it would take 1-5 days for it to show on my statements. So if you are living within the EU, hopefully this will help. (I am very glad I took that consumer protection course!)

Katsm, I do not work for Leor, I'm a full time mum and housewife!
I'm sorry things haven't gone well for, what looks like, the majority of people but I just wanted to put my point across that NOT EVERYONE that has ordered from Leor has had a bad experience. Believe me, if they do start to take extra payments from my credit card I will be straight on here to let everyone know, but currently they are taking what I expect and I love the products.

£89.93 seems to be their favourite number! Thieves at Leor took that and another for £87.78 on the same day. Have they no shame. Trading standards and the full force of the law need to come down hard on these scammers. Utter disgrace - gives Internet shopping a bad name.
NEVER PAY ANYTHING TO THESE PEOPLE. THEY ARE CRIMINALS.

I'm another naive consumer who fell for this "No Risk, Free Trial" too! I received the products and then went online to look at how much the full sized products and came across this website with all of your complaints... so thank you for starting this train of conversation. I immediately got on to my bank, explained the situation and asked them to put a block on the company. Barclays were great and did this straight away. However, on checking my account yesterday, they had taken £87.63 out of my account but under a different company name! Again, Barclays fixed this straight away and organised a refund due to the cancellation being enforced. They are also going to receive a fine for taking the money despite the cancellation.
So be aware that they change their company name! The chap at the bank said this may continue to happen until they get the message...
Unfortunately, it's unlikely anything will happen to the company if reported to trading standards as they are mostly operating legally - it's our fault essentially, for being trusting and not reading the small print!
I still have the products but have only used them twice, just in case they ask for them back.
It's certainly made me be more aware about these "free trials" and I too just wish I'd done more research about them.

Yes I have been scammed too.
Was checking my bank statement tonight and noticed that I have had £89.93 taken from may account yesterday. Looking back I have had another two debits for £89.93 in November and December, I had received two packages from Leor in November when I first ordered and over the Christmas peroid. I have emailed Leor and my bank but don't hold much hope in having my money returned. I feel a bit stupid for being sucked in to this. As my husband pointed out -' if it is too good to be true then it is too good to be true',
Have to be honest I wasn't impressed with the product and wished I had done some research before I ordered it. Hindsight is a wonderful thing
