It is very disappointing experience to deal with your agent in Egypt. My name is Emad Nabil. I live in Cairo Egypt. My mobile number is [protected]. I had a problem with my LG AC on the 22 nd Sep. It stopped totally cooling all of a sudden, I contacted customer service. They sent me a technician the following day. Diagnosis a non return valve is leaking and it needs replacing. Will call you to tell you by when? I waited for 3 days and then called CS hotline. They told me the valve is out of stock and will call you back in 2 days. I waited for no avail. 2 days later I sent a complaint via LG Egypt site. I received an email and a phone call the following day telling me we are in the process of finding you an alternative solution and we let you know in 48 hours. Today after 48 hours I called CS to ask them for an answer. Answer was that you will be contacted next Sunday. That 3 days from today. I sent another complaint and the answer I received this time was shocking. The spare part in question will be available after 45 days as it is not considered a serious failure to replace. I did send them another email asking what do you mean ? The answer was we mean it is not serious.
Now I pose the question to you, if the customer satisfaction is not a serious matter to the customer service department, then what is the definition of serious to them? I need you to please help me. I have been a loyal customer to LG and I trust that you will help me and help protect the reputation of LG in Egypt. Please feel free to call me or email me in case you need further information. I have been subjected to a scam, and below details of my several complaints on level of Sales, Call Center, and I ended with the Refrigerator that I can not use its' dispenser

Center and Maintenance :
1. I bought a refrigerator through the brochure as it was not available at the showroom, and they sent
me wrong model with different feature that does not suite me.
2. Call Center attitude, always procrastination the problem, tomorrow we will solve, Call Center
will call you, and at the end no one calls .
3. Maintenance, I requested a maintenance engineer visit to make to advise if there is a possible
solution but LG cancelled this Maintenance visit even without coming back to me
4. Call Center Manager Promised to call me on thursday (4/OCt) when I call today, they tell me he is
on leave, and we do not have a solution for you, it is the reseller problem
5. Reseller, is a big store has LG Logo and sells only LG, so I trusted it and though it is real LG
6. LG Call center claims that I do not have the right, because I had a grace period of 14 days after
that i can not repalce the refrigerator, but the problem that the refrigerator was shipped to me by LG

I sent my phone to LG in July to get a minor issue repaired. They lost my phone, then a month later, they send me a phone that was coming apart literally. Then after several weeks of waiting for the "repair", LG sent me a phone with a broken front facing camera. Now its been two months that passed im still phoneless. Several more weeks pass due to LG "repair" I finally get a phone that was properly repaired, but the phone is sim locked 😭 I let the supervisor know that Ive been speaking with and emailing for the pass several weeks know about the situation and now the supervisor is waiting for a reply from the repair facility. That was four days ago, still no reply. The summer of 2018 has passed and I was phoneless due to poor customer service from LG!

I bought this refrigerator 2012 brand new from LG representative showroom
During transportation the two doors got damaged.
I called LG egypt customer service September 13, 2018 to ask them to replace these doors with new ones and I will be charge with any cost.
I was so surprised and mad about there answer which was that the company is not manufactured this model anymore and so this doors are not existing any more in stock.
This is really strange and ridiculous to buy a refrigerator 5 years ago and I can't find the spare parts anymore.
This is unacceptable from a company name like LG .
We pay more money to buy a product just because the brand is reliable.
That's what I did when I brought my refrigerator.
I am sending you this complain to find me answer and a solution for my case.
I always believe that LG is a respectable brand so please don't let me change my mind.

Never buy LG anything ever again., rude, inconsiderate staff in your Executive services dept, namely Sherry and Jessica. this has been an ongoing problem for 3 months, and no less than 30 phone calls, they have been trying to get someone to repair our machine that has a severe balance issue . now today I am told to contact Home Depot with my extended warranty issue as my LG warranty has now expired. So they strung us along for 2 months, claiming to be handling it, expediting it and now are washing their hands of it. BAD BAD BAD business, stay away, you've been warned.

Luckily I bought a service contract for Home Depot when I bought this refrigerator in 2017, unfortunately the Home Depot Service Plan has yet to resolve the issue. I am now up to my 9 service call in the last 2 months and I am still living with evaporator fan noise that is loud enough to keep the neighbors up. Until I replace the SAME PART 3 times, Home Depot will not consider any remediation, I must continue to take days off from works for similar problems. It is a shame. No one is willing to look at all the problems for a common cause, but insist that each issue is independent of the other issues. Nothing could be further from the truth.
Do not buy LG, do not buy at Home Depot, and if you must buy LG at Home Depot, definitely get the extended warranty But plan to be home a lot to work with service and to wear ear plugs due to the excessive noise from the evaporator fan.

Just under two months ago I dropped my phone in a very unfortunate incident and even with the rubber case it shattered the inner screen(I later found out it's called the LCD).
I then took my phone to a local cellphone repair shop and on purchasing a new LCD the phone refused to start, charge and or operate. The phone went into a start up loop with LG logo and over heated anytime you attempted a charge. I was recommended to visit a specialist repair shop in Jumeirah Lake towers that deals with LG specifically.
Unfortunately even at that repair shop they did not manage to assist and told me that it is a software issue that the phone goes into a reboot loop. Now being that I had dropped the phone I was somewhat at peace with the idea that I am to blame for this unfortunate state of the phone, However.
The LG V20 was my 3rd smartphone from the company. My previous phone was an LG G4 which I owned from February 2016 till March 2017. In March 2017 the phone one day just switched off and went into this exact reboot loop (Zero drop history). Even during that time no one could assist me and I therefore lost all my non-backed up files. In replacing that phone I purchased this V20 which has now seen the same fate.
I have since taken my business and money to another company as my preferred company has proved unreliable.

LG Has THE WORST customer service I've ever experienced in my life!
5 Months after purchasing a $1000 washer model DLE3170W the washer presented an error message and stoped working. The washer, by the way, is in the warranty. I have been calling for over 2 weeks and after each grueling call, I am promised someone will call me back within 24 hours. They referred 2 technicians in my area (Hawaii) whom I called everyday for one week, left messages with the case number provided by LG, but technicians never returned my calls. One day I finally manage to get one of the technicians on the phone, for him to say he doesn't service my area! Seriously! let me point out that I did provide LG with my zip code!
My case has been escalated from executive team to regional, etc, etc.
Every time I was assured by the Executive Customer Service Rep that they are looking for a solution and will get back to me. Last week the Executive Customer Service Rep promised that they would get back to me within 3 to 5 business days. Well that has come and gone! and guess what? no one called.
I called again today, and, again I was assured they are looking for a solution.
I asked for the washer to be replaced since they have no technical support. LG says we are not eligible for a replacement until a technician deems it inoperable. So I ask about the technician, to which they have no answer.
I have let them know I am very unhappy, and their service is not acceptable. Their customer service, however, in all the escalated levels do not care one bit. The customer service reps are very rude, and they have absolutely no knowledge of any of their products.
To fellow shoppers out there my recommendation is to NEVER BUY LG
It might look good and they love you when you buy their product but you become dirt if THEIR product is faulty
I am still left with a faulty washer that does not work.

I bought a washer and dryer from Home Depot. Both items come with 1 year manufacture warranty. Just moved into a new home and with new floors just installed. I opened up the dryer door and the glass fell out onto my new floor. So I called customer service on 9/10/18 it is now 9/27/18 and still not fixed. Plan and simple LG Customer Service is a joke. I just got off the phone with them and they told me I have to wait another 5 business days to find someone to fix the glass. I have tried to contact corporate which you can not talk to anyone. I will never buy another LG anything. Life is not good when you buy LG.

No one services lg in our area - was told it was a special unique certification only provided by lg? Once serviced it was found to be the compressor. Was told he replaces at least two compressors a week. Very poorly made and cost $750 to repair. Will never purchase another lg appliance again, and will share this experience on social media as a warning to all of my contacts.

I Jon Klemm have spoke to now 3 reps and a Supervisor regarding the magic remote that clearly is shown in the paperwork for the TV as well as the tv is missing screws for the base and multiple other pieces that are needed. when speaking to the first 2 reps regarding the matter I was told that the remote was not compatible, I demand this be resolved in a timely manner as this is not how business should be run at all. I further request that the magic remote in question be shipped to my home address for the severe inconvenience I have endured from your company. I also demand that the correct screws for the base of the TV be sent as well because until I receive them I cannot use the TV. If this is not handled in a timely manner I will be returning the TV and filing a complaint with the FCC regarding the carelessness of your agents!

I had lost the remote to my t.v. and couldn't get the t.v. to scan for channels so I contacted your company a live agent named Nick and he told me there was nothing I could do except buy a l.g. remote from your company. No universal remote would work or the buttons on the side would not work. More of less the t.v. was junk unless I did that. I asked hi. About a factory reset and he said that would not work even after I told him there was a button on the back that said factory reset he still informed me it would t work. And I did factory reset it and it did work if this is how your company does business I will be taking mine to another brand.

Ice bin keeps popping out at the bottom, after ice maker fills the bin then it usually happens- bought frig on August 2, 2018. I would say within a week or two this started happening. When you are getting ice it suddenly stops dispencing ice, then when you try to open freezer door, you notice you can not open it correctly, you then see the bottom of the bin has popped out. You have to reach in with your fingers and hold the bin in so you can open the door. The bin then can be put back in place, I noticed that you don't feel anything clicking in place when you put the bin back in. Repairman suppose to be here on 09/25/2018. LG called and said if it is broke they might not cover it under warranty, had us take icemaker out while they were on phone, but they could help in fixing it over phone. If it is a defect, not sure why warranty would not cover. Poor customer service

I have a complain regarding my LG W/DRYER FH4U2TDHP5N (Price AED 2, 899.00) that I have bought on 14/04/2017, Invoice Nr. [protected] by Carrefour Al Ain.
I did extension of the warranty for one year more. Meanwhile the rubber got brocken as you see in the attachment. As I asked the LG servise here in the United Arab Emirates they have replied to me that the repair of the rubber is not in the warranty included.
1. How is it possible that this rubber got brocken after this short time period?
2. Why it's comming that this is not in the warranty included ?
I have also other equipment from LG (2 TVs, Home Cinema) with that I was untill now happy.
Please I need your opinion regarding such unacceptable management.

Hi, Myself Rajendra Deshmukh, from Pune City, (situated in Maharashtra State of India).
I had purchased LG OLED 55' TV from Authorized LG Dealer in Kothrud, Pune, on 30/12/2015, vide Invoice No. KHS/15-16/00924, at the cost of Rs. 2, 40, 000/- (including taxes), in the name of my wife. This product was promoted by the company as its premium product and was said to have the latest technology at that time. I was seeking to buy SAMSUNG TV which is well known brand and I had used it earlier, but just to check on LG products I visited the above mentioned LG store, where I met the dealer Mr. Sanjeev Gholap. He showed me the latest product of LG which was a 55' OLED TV and convinced me that the ‘OLED' was the best in its category as well as durable. It will go on for long years without any complaints. He also assured me that the said products working life is more than 10 years and nothing will happen to product as it was of the best quality. He also told me that the product had a two years warranty from the Company. He did all the sweet talk to convince me in believing that LG is a reputed Company with best consumer backup worldwide and is known for its Consumer friendly policies. Mr. Gholap assured that if anything happens to the product the Company would immediately replace with a new piece. Believing on his words I was convinced to buy and thereby extended my budget for the TV, three times and purchased the suggested OLED TV. Along with that I also bought two 32' TVs, two AC's and DIOS refridgerator which were also presented to me as premium products of LG Company. However within two years from the purchase of the OLED TV, the product gave off and went Kaputt... After my online complaint to the authorized service station of LG, a service engineer visited my place where I insisted with him to replace the faulty product as it was much within the warranty period. To my surprise he just changed the faulty panel of the TV and assured me that the product will run smoothly without any hassle. The company failed to Honour its commitment of replacement of faulty product within the stipulated warranty period and replaced the faulty panel with an old panel. So much for the big claim's of the company about its product and its services. Now within a span of one year of the repairs the TV has again stopped working.
It is surprising that within a span of three years such a premium product has failed to perform twice. I have lodged complaint online with their consumer cell but now the Company is demanding amount of Rs. 92, 000/- + GST and taxes for repairs. The present price of their new OLED TV is Rs. 1, 60, 000/-. The Company is claiming repair charges to the tune of Rs. 1, 15, 000/-.
To my strong belief LG gave me a faulty product, didn't replace the product on the first Complaint which was lodged within the warranty period. They replaced faulty parts with old parts which gave off within a short span and thereby they have cheated me. I have lost faith in such a reputed company. I had invested my hard earned money to buy the said products.
I fail to understand how such a premium product can just stop working within just two years from the date of purchase. I am sure that I would have been happier if I would have bought some other brand. I fail to understand that if a reputed brand like LG treats its customers of premium products in this way what is the remedy for the consumer other than to either to keep on complaining or else to go to the consumer court to get the desired relief. I am not ready to spend my hard earned money again on the repairs as I think as a consumer I have all the right to ask the company to do the needful FOC. I hope that cognizance of my complaint would be taken up at the highest possible level and the necessary steps would be taken and I will be accorded the desired relief.

I purchased a 55" LG TV from Best Buy on 3/28/18 for $850 plus tax. Best Buy installed it in my home for an additional $200.
Three months later the TV volume went bad and the screen started flicking all over it. I called Best Buy and they said I needed to call LG as it was on a 1 year Warranty. I called LG on June 24, 2018 and since then they have sent a company out to our home to look at the TV. The company then left and didn't call back. I waited two weeks and finally called the company and they said the TV was not fixable and LG had taken the ticket over.
I contacted LG and for the next two months they have given me the run around - telling me they need certain information from the TV and a reciept of purchase and to upload the documents. I uploaded them and waited, no-one called and nothing happened. I called back and was told they got the documents and it would be 10 days till I hear back on "their decision". 14 days go - no call from LG. I call again and find out my receipt was rejected as it was my online reciept and I needed to go into best buy and request a copy of a printed reciept - even though I never got one as it was an online order.
I went to Best Buy and got a copy of the receipt after getting a manager invovled. I uploaded photos of the reciept and LG said they didn't get them. I called them again and had their person stay on the phone while I uploaded to ensure they go them. I was then told it would be 10 more days till they "make a decision" on my TV.
What decision they are looking to make and why they can't fix my TV is beyond me. I will never ever buy and LG TV. They are garbage and LG does not stand by their warranty. They just try and make everything so difficult that you just give up trying.
