LG Electronics lg pro tone headset

I bought this headset several months ago but did not use them until 11/06/17. I bought a new iphone so instead of using my old headset I set up my new ones. I was having problems with the sound so I took my phone by to Apple and its not the phone its the headset. I called your customer service and the man didn't have time to talk to me I asked for a supervisor he said they don't talk to people. This is my second paid do the LG. The first I got about 4 yrs ago so that's why I bought these. All I want is to see if they can be fixed maybe reset. But if this is the way you treat your customer I will never buy any more LG product and will advised my friends and also post it on social media

LG Electronics 55lv550y 55" led smart tv

Bought >4 years ago. Worked perfectly. Recently while attempting to view my cellular (LG4) on the TV screen by using "LG CAST" application, a software fault occurred. From this moment and on the menu and the picture are distorted. The menu is therefor unreadable thus further setting is impossible. All the rest function properly. The Israeli sole importer service recognized that this is indeed a software fault but he cannot fix it unless by replacing the entire main electronic board for a cost of about 750$. Is this acceptable ? (Guarantee period expired a year ago). Thanks for your prompt answer.

LG Electronics refrigerator.

I purchased an LG refrigerator with Best Buy in June 2017. The ice maker stopped producing ice in less than a month. I called Best Buy and LG company immediately. It took them a few months to send a tech to my house. Then the tech finally came and processed his paperwork incorrectly according to LG. So I had to send LG an attachment receipt of the purchase and picture of serial no. through an email link LG provided to me. So They promised about send out another tech 2 months ago. I call them every week and they continue to promise that a tech will call me to schedule an appointment and I have not heard anything from them. I am very upset because the claim has been on for over 5 months. They have not fixed my ice maker and continue to ignore it. It needs to be taken care of before the warranty expires.

LG Electronics lg promise for a refund

LG promised us a refund as the fridge we purchased was under warranty and was unrepairable so we were promised a $1, 200 refund cheque back in September 2017. We were told it would take 6 weeks to process. It's November 29th and we still have not received one cent. I have called every day for two weeks and still received nothing. Each time I called, I have received difference excuses. I warn everyone whoever purchased a crappy appliance from LG, be prepared for poor customer service. HORRID, TERRIBLE

First, I'll mention I really like LG appliances. When did you actually purchase the fridge. Did you purchase directly from LG or through a retailer? Do you have the actual model of the unit you bought?

LG Electronics refrigerator

My LG refrigerator is 19 months old, and the compressor has gone out. The repairman is charging me 375.00 for labor. I am upset.
I bought the appliance on March 25 2016 at Lowe's.
It broke the Sunday after thanksgiving, and I've had to wait three day for a repairman. I lost over 150.00 worth of food and meats.
I cant afford this. I am retired and on a fixed income. Your appliance should have lasted much longer than it did.

When you purchased the fridge, did you purchase any additional warranty coverage through the retailer? I like LG appliances, but as you've learned, even good appliances can break. There are those who prefer not taking the risk, so they add additional warranty coverage on their purchase. It might be worth checking with the retailer to see what they can do for you. They can really be a life saver.

LG Electronics lg home electronics

My parents are seniors (80s) and LG fridge, and within 4 years the fridge broke down, service repair person deemed the fridge "unrepairable". We started working with LG on how much money they would give my parents for a new fridge. That was in early September, we agreed to $1, 200. They indicated it would take 6 weeks to process and they would receive the cheque. It is now November 27th and we have received NOTHING. We have been calling LG customer service daily for one week now seeking when they would receive payment. We have been receiving the run around: we will call you back in 5 minutes or we will have an answer for you within 48 hours and we have yet to receive an answer. Christmas is coming and my parents are without their money. They needed to purchase a new fridge without any funds from LG. They truly have terrible customer service and I would not wish anyone the hell my parents have gone through. DO NOT PURCHASE LG PRODUCTS, AS THEY DO NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR PRODUCTS.

LG Electronics mobile phone g4-lgh818p

BOOTLOOP- LG G4
I bought my G4 the 26/01/2016 from LG electronics Algeria (Hassi messaoud), purchace N° ASDZB00180-16010115S.
the 14/11/2017 my phone had the famous (bootloop) problem which is that the phone get stuck on logo and don't run.
I contacted LG algeria for support, because the problem what officialy recignized by LG, and there response was to buy a new motherboard (150$) which is half the price of the phone... whereas in other countries they take care of the phone repair/replace. the only explanation is that because no one will see; it's in africa.
Here is LG's statment

LG Electronics washing dressing machine

I have one washing dressing machine made in thialand since july 2015, i have some problems in all white or light clothes by oil or rust from washing machine clothes LG, i had call them over 6 months they told me by cleaning salt and lemon and vinegar but result too bad and problems increase after calling by call center and technical support along 6 months they agree to send a technician to see washing dress machine after came he told me the best way to make cleaning around now, i wait to tested it today ...
My question if it work why call center or technical support didnot say this way from 6 months ago or send this technician to me, and what i will do by all cloths soaked by rust it over 700$

And on another side if it still have same problems why they not exchange by another one if it has problems and my washing machine in grantee.

Finally i like LG. I have many Tvs, washing machine and although i just by another washing machine in this month as cadeau for my mother can you check it .
I afraid on name of LG. So i trying to give you feedback on this problem if solved or not

LG Electronics french 4-door refrigerator

I purchased a French 4-Door Refrigerator (Valued at $4000) from LG in March 2016 and 18 months later it has died. My 10yo Samsung in the garage is still going strong. LG sends a tech to replace the Compressor and another part and it dies 2 weeks later. Tech came back out and says it may be a leak within the walls of the fridge and leaves. I call LG to request to have replaced because I don't want a pieced together product when I thought I was getting a good fridge and they said NO that my fridge doesnt qualify to be replaced and they want to send a Tech out a 3rd time. Meanwhile I missed Thanksgiving without a fridge and I'm not guaranteed I'll have one for Christmas. I purchased this fridge because it was supposed to be one of the best. Now they want to take it apart and replace parts again. They never returned my calls I would have to chase them down. Absolutely the worst customer service EVER! and the I would NEVER purchase another LG product again. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR A BUY SAMSUNG!

Appreciated reading your complaint.

Actually I prefer LG to any other consumer level refrigerator within the market. I'm quite heavily involved within the industry and recommend LG very highly.

It is true that there is a process which needs to take place in order for a product to be serviced. Generally the warranty on most appliances is a one year-limited coverage. With LG, they also guarantee the compressor for 10 years, but on a pro-rated bases.

When you purchased the refrigerator, most retailers offer additional warranty coverage. Although it can be offered as a benefit to simply buying from a particular retailer, it usually comes at a nominal cost. Was this something you elected to purchase?

Knowing this, I may be able to provide some additional information to get the issue taken care of more easily. If it isn't already remedied, please drop me another note.

LG Electronics dishwasher delivery

I ordered a dishwasher from home depo on November 11th 2017. the delivery of the dishwasher to my home was scheduled for November 15th 2017. I had a class to attend that day so I had someone come to my house to wait for the dishwasher while i was in my class for aprox 2 and 1/2 hours. I then waited the rest of the day for the dishwasher to arrive. When it didnt arrive by 4pm I called home depo and spoke to them who assured me that it was still scheduled to be delivered today. They provided me with a # to call the delivery company to see where it was at. I called the company and was informed that the dishwasher was never delivered to them from LG and that LG was supposed to call me to inform me of this information (neither me or the other person on the account received any call from LG). they then informed me that they would not be able to deliver it until the following week once it arrives to them. I then called LG the next morning and was on the phone with a customer service rep for about 1 and ½ hours only to be told that GE failed to put the dishwasher on the truck to deliver to the 3rd party delivery company so it could be delivered to me. He said there was nothing they could do as it was GE's fault and that I have to wait untill sometime next week for my dishwasher to be delivered. I informed him that it was the fault of their company and that i was assured i would receive the dishwasher before the weekend so i wanted it before the weekend. He said that he called GE and spoke to them because they are the ones who "dropped the ball" and that there is nothing they could do. I then called GE and to discuss this situation with them and they told me that they just received the dishwasher from LG today (Nov 16th) and that there is nothing they can do to get me the dishwasher any earlier than next week even if i was assured it would be to me before the weekend. I would like for my dishwasher to be delivered to me before the weekend as I was assured it would be so I do not have to go and pick it up myself.

LG Electronics lg tv service

I have several LG products & have always been satisfied.I purchased a 49" smart tv, from day 1 it had a pink tint. I bought it at Best Buy & also bought the Geek Squad protection. Since it was only 1 month olds when I called I had to use the LG service. When the serviceman (Dexter) arrived he was rude & in a hurry. He stood & pushed buttons on his control so fast I wasn't able to see if he was changing anything. He took 3 personal calls in the short time he was here. He was annoyed & when I asked him to slow down he got nasty & raised his voice. I had to tell him to leave. Thank goodness when I called the Geek Squad they agreed to come out & look at the tv. If it can't be fixed I will return it & after the service call from LG I will no longer buy LG products.

LG Electronics lg trom dryer fire

Last night our LG from dryer caught fire with our clothes in it. We were able to put out the fire and save the majority of our belongings (including our house) before there was too much damage.
Obviously we went out and bought a new dryer right after removing the old one from our home.
Today we called LG customer support and they were just awful. They were not at all concerned about the fact that their dryer was on fire. They told us that there would be a $190 service fee to come inspect the dryer but since the dryer as on fire they suggested we just buy a new dryer. They didn't even ask us which dryer it was - which you'd think would be important if they have a habit of catching fire.
We had a professional in to check our venting and everything was fine, the problem was with the dryer it's self. LG is not interested in hearing what we have to say.
Needless to say we will NEVER buy LG again, and we will also be telling everyone we know who has LG not to buy them because they set on fire, and we will be telling everyone who is looking about their customer service.

Hi Megan.

I'm heavily involved within the appliance industry and I think I can shed some light on the issue. LG "TROM" washers and dryers haven't been produced within the industry for nearly a decade - if not longer. So we're talking about a fairly old appliance in the best case scenario. TROM dryers haven't had any particular issue with combustion, so it's by no means any concern with such an old appliance; it is just as likely that a component failed upon one of the circuit boards just because of age. Ironically, I really like LG washer and dryers. They're considered some of the best within the industry. I wouldn't necessarily hesitate to replace it with another LG dryer.

LG Electronics washing machine service duration 90 days

Good evening,

This is for your kind attention that I bought mostly all household LG products and have been using the products more than 15 years in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

I bought a Washing Machine Model No. F10B8NDP2 one and half years back and it was working fine. On 19th October 2017, my washing machine was not running, so i raised a complaint to the Service Centre to find the problem and fix it. A Technician reported after 4 days and told that a spare part is to be fixed. He collected UAE Dirhams 150 as service charge. He will come fix it soon. Even if there was no reply from them, I called customer care number, so i got a message that an order is placed to get the spare parts from Korea. They will receive within a week time and resolve the problem. It is now completed 3 weeks, I did not receive any reply from service centre. I contacted customer care about the update, I was informed that the spare parts will receive after 60 days only. Once they receive, then will come and fix it.

Since washing machine is very important one and we used to operate 3 times in a week to wash my family and children cloths. Further, it is very long time to sort out such issues by a Company like LG. I do not know with my children how can I manage further minimum 2 months without using washing machine.

I have attached receipt given for payment made for initially to check my washing machine where job number is also mentioned for reference.

You are requested to involve in my matter and try to solve the issue by getting the spare parts at the earliest.

LG Electronics lg ac jsx18npxa

We bought a unit from Kottayam, India on mar16-2017 and an error code CH10 appeared while we started on 24-sept-2017. After one week we registered complaint # rnp170924099617, the service agent of LG Kottayam informed us to send pictures showing the serial numbers and purchase invoice to initiate unit replacement. Ten days later a service hand of above service agent informed us that they going to replace the the PCB only. Since the unit hooked with separate CB apart from main DB and any of other Appliances not affected with voltage fluctuations when the refrigerator is running 24/7 and lightning, we would consider a unit replacement or refund of money.

LG Electronics customer service for washer dryer combo

The owner's manual for mode #wm3488hw clearly states 3 times that the if you use liquid detergent the "liquid detergent cup" needs to be in place, yet I didn't receive a liquid detergent cup with my machine. Customer service says it doesn't exist. See pages 21 & 22. The 2nd bullet on page 21 under the 2nd note "when using liquid detergent make sure the liquid detergent cup & insert are in place. Do not exceed the maximum fill line". Customer says that you put the liquid detergent in the main compartment. Yet the next bullet says to remove it when using powdered detergent.

If what customer service is correct, please explain 1) why it's stated 3 separate times in the owner's manual. 2) where does the liquid Detergent Go? 3). Why does bullet 3 state that powdered detergent will not dispense with the liquid detergent cup and insert in place? 4) what maximum fill line is bullet 2 under the 2nd note refer to because the main wash compartment does not have a maximum fill line

LG Electronics customer service/warranty

I purchased an LG Stainless Steel dishwasher in May 2017. Initially, this handsome, durable device worked well but in September, problems developed. The initial customer service call was rapid in response but failed to address the problem. After significant delay. I called customer service for an update and was told that the machine was authorized for replacement and I would need to talk to "Evelyn in Claims" before anything would occur because she would need more detailed information. I phoned claims repetitively over the next few weeks without success. All too often, I either received no answer or would get no return call when I was connected to voice mail. I finally received a call from "Evelyn"and told to fax a receipt. When no reply was received after approx two weeks and after similar phone attempts, I was informed that the receipt I had already faxed was not good enough, the receipt needed to be more detailed. (Evelyn was Not too friendly !) I re-faxed the correct receipt, and hearing nothing I called back. I was told the receipt had not been received. This time the pleasant young lady informed me I could e-mail the receipt and provided me with an e-mail link which was successful. Evelyn called back a few days later and in a not to friendly manner told me "this is how it works." At some point during the conversation I admit to using the word "Damned." This resulted in approximately 4-5 minutes of shouting from Evelyn that she would not tolerate any profanity or verbal abuse and threatened an immediate termination of the call if she encountered any more. She informed me that machine replacement would not occur and I could expect a financial reimbursement for the device only. Neither the installation cost nor the cord would be covered. This was two weeks ago...I'm still waiting.
As I said. the initial customer service call was good...it rapidly went downhill from there.
I'm really disappointed in the manner this was handled. I cannot say if the telephone information I was given early in this was correct but the bottom line is once I began in claims...'nuff said! I am not interested in a machine replacement. I purchased a new dishwasher yesterday and it will be installed tomorrow.

LG Electronics v20 warranty repair service

I purchased an LG V20 phone at the end of March of this year. This was one of their flagship phones at the time. In September I started noticing an issue with the phone, the handset speaker wouldn't work and I'd have to activate the speakerphone or plug in headphones to hear a call. I called my carrier who referred me to LG, LG had me factory default the phone which worked. A month later half my display went dark and the battery would die within 20 minutes. I tried factory defaulting the phone again and this time it didn't work. I contacted my carrier, Sprint, I brought the phone in to their technician who looked at it and said it would have to be sent off to their facility but it could be repaired, the only problem was that their would be a charge of $75 to fix it. They advised to send it into LG since it was under warranty. So I created an RA with LG to do a warranty repair, after about a week I check status on my phone on their website and it says to please call to arrange payment for my device to begin repair. I called to ask why I would be charged for a warranty reapir. They told me that the phone had liquid damage on it and that they weren't going to fix it and that I would need to pay them $20 to get it back. Firstly, the phone was checked before the phone was sent to them because I know liquid damage isn't covered by the warranty and there was no liquid damage to that device. Secondly why would someone pay to have a phone that the manufacturer refuses to repair shipped back to them. I 've already paid about $700 for a phone that has failed after about 6 months.
I first asked them to fix the phone under waranty as it should have been, they wouldn't honor the warranty.
I then said okay i'll pay the $20 just fix the phone, they wouldn't do that.
I asked for a supervisor, (who read the same script as the operator), at that point I asked for that person's supervisor, they said there is no one else above them. Weird because I didn't realize I was speaking with the CEO of LG.
I ended the call
I called back the next day and was told that a supervisor wouldn't be in for another 3 hours and to call back.
after about 2 hours another supervisor called me, at that point I said ok look just send me my phone back, I won't do business with LG anymore and we'll call it a day but I'm not paying anymore money for a device under warranty that has failed. She said she understood my concern and would message the repair facility and be back in touch with me within 48 hours.
This person never contacted me back.
I called about 4 days later and the supervisor I had spoken with had never noted my profile and never contacted the repair facility.
I asked for a supervisor again, at this point I was irate as I was lied to. I spoke with supervisor Rick operator: 410189, after hearing the same scripted response from this supervisor that I couldn't get my property back unless I paid more money, I tried reasoning with this person as well to just send my phone back. He said that he would put in a message to the repair facility as well but I would need to follow up within 48 hours about it.
I followed up again, and got Lee, operator: 12074, he said there was no word back from the facility but he assured that this time someone would be in contact with me over email or by phone within 48 hours.
needless to say I was again not contacted and lied to.
I called this evening and was placed on an extremely long hold again for a supervisor, while on hold someone from LG called me asking how my experience was, needless to say I wasn't happy as I was on the other line still on hold. She said she was sorry and that she would let me go so that I could go back to being on hold.
after about another half hour on hold I hung and called back, and was placed on another long hold for a supervisor. I finally got another supervisor who just read the same script and admitted that my phone was my property but said I wouldn't get it back unless I paid a $20 fee for it.
This to me is an unacceptable business practice, there customer service people do nothing but read a script and don't seem to really care.
I used to be a fan of LG and have bought two 40" and 50" inch TV for my home. I've had three LG G4 phones, two LG V20's (well one now since they won't send back the one I sent for repair), and an LG G6. I can honestly say that I will never do business with them again though and will spread the word on my experience with them.
I thought my ultimate resolution of just sending my phone back to me as is was pretty fair due to the failure of their product and lack of integrity in backing a warranty since my carrier was actually willing to do the repair.
I just want my property back and I will go with another brand from now on.

LG Electronics wd 80154tp washing machine

Let the information be available to the technician before saying wrong information and getting deposits for unavailable spare parts.
This is about wd 80154tp washing machine.
The technician diagnosed the washing machine, he assessed the malfunction as a problem with the electronic board. We asked about the cost and availability, He made a call then confirmed the availability within 48 hours as maximum. We paid a deposit 1000 EGP out of 2000 EGP in addition to the visit fees 160EGP.
I called the customer service to make a complaint of receiving nothing after 48 hours. The customer service agent told me he will check and get back after 24 hours. I got nothing!
After 72 hours I called again, the customer service agent replied " the spare part is not available and I'll communicate with stores"!
Very weird! Why I shall call to push for the next step?!
He asked to call back on Sunday.
He called himself on Sunday after 10 days of the diagnosis telling we can't complete the maintenance, the spare part is not manufactured any more!
I asked to refund my deposit.
The conclusion is:
1- I wasted my time and made wrong investment by buying LG product
2-I will not purchase LG long lasting devices, will buy Zanussi, or Beko
3- after sales service is a mare

LG Electronics oled 55b7a packaging not secure

Bought a new, closed box, LG OLED TV for $1650 at Fry's and took it home. When I opened the factory sealed box, there was a $500 Westinghouse LED TV in its place! It was obvious there was a problem with the packing, a lot of broken styrofoam and no remote or instructions.

LG's packaging is easily tampered with. Their factory sealed box has no taped edges, just by removing the 2 white straps that hold the box together, the factory seal is broken and the box is open. If you could remove and replace the plastic white straps without cutting them, or had a machine that makes them, you could defeat the factory seal. The box is designed to come apart easily, which is nice because it's faster to get the TV out, but the factory seal is not secure.

Someone should take responsibility for the chain of custody of these expensive electronics from manufacturer to the customer. Let's hope Fry's does the right thing and reimburse my full purchase.

This refrigerator, barely 5 years old, broke down one week ago. We noticed it 2 days later as a horrible smell was coming from the freezer! The whole refrigerator contents had to be dumped (About $500 of food etc..).

I then contacted lg's service line (In canada as I live there) and immediately got a "representative" with an attitude problem! After taking forever to verify who I was (?) and then another unacceptable waiting time for making sure I had properly registered my purchase 5 years ago, she then tried to sell me a prolonged warranty - never mind my urgent need for repairs!

After about 20 minutes of getting nowhere with this "representative" (Who's obviously paid a commission for sales..) she finally gave me a service phone # to call! As it turned out, she gave me the wrong number!

After finding out the right one, I then had to wait 4 days for a service rep to show-up, only to find out that I would have to wait another week for a replacement compressor unit, the whole after having dished-out lots of$ for the service call and no repair!

Lg's service s u c k s and I will n e v e r purchase another lg product!
