lg lw6500 3d tv no parts available
I was very happy customer of lg for quite a long time. Have an LG manufactured TV washing machine and coupe of mobiles. Had an issue on Nov 10, 2015 with my 42LG6500 3D TV which was bought during last quarter of 2012. Registered complaint with the customer care -RNA151110031665. Customer Care executive arrived on nov12, 2015 informed that there is an issue with the board and that needs to be replaced. But later informed that the board is not being manufactured any more and there is no stock with them(within just 3years from the date of purchase). As an alternative customer care executive informed that the company will take the old device and provide an amount after calucating the depreciation which can be utilised for purchasing another TV from LG themselves. And collected all the necessary document for this process. After two weeks due to consecutive calls we made to customer care we were provided am update that the amount that will be provided for purchasing new device will only be 29% for the old TV that was bought for almost 1, 00, 000 Rs. Also the new TV should be purchased only from lg customer care which they are selling at higher prices compared to what I get from other retailer shops. Till date there is no proper response or updates on the complaint. Each and everytime a new number is provided to be called but the person never picks up the phone. This is really disappointing and frustrating. Now I don't believe in lg TVs anymore as they can't even promise service for 5 years that really makes me question the credibility of the company. Even today I have to call these so called customer care executives daily to know the status, but these is never a proper update. This is really frustrating, now I will always be afraid about choosing or suggesting a LG product in the future. Looking forward for a positive reply on this issue.

I purchased this range in 2013. The Gas Range Knobs melted after I used the self-cleaning feature. About 8 months later, I cleaned the oven again and the outside of the oven got so hot that I burned myself - hence, the melted knobs. I complained on LG's "Review of Products" but my complaint was not posted. Now I see that the range has been discontinued. Has LG discontinued selling this range because of the burn potential? Has there been other complaints about consumers being burned?

I would like to say that this has been a great dishwasher. After ten years, I know that's a long time, but for $749.00 ten years ago I have been blindly if not silently disappointed. In the first year nearly every piece of plastic in the racks was broken from being cooked to death. All the little things that hold the racks to make them adjustable are worthless. Five years in, I replaced the pump in the bottom of the unit. It was not difficult for me as I am a pretty good handyman, and have been for many years. This past few months have been wrought with frustration. Eight weeks ago I replaced the pump again. Purchased from Sears Parts for $149.99 which was an internet price match. I really like Sears for many reasons although I don't believe I give them enough of my business. After installing the pump, everything was great for three wash cycles and then I developed a leak in the door on the left side. Although it leaked just a few tablespoons of water, I ordered a new seal and installed it. Then I had a similar leak on the right side of the door. I reset the seal and tried another wash cycle. This time I got the IE error meaning there is a water issue. The unit drained, but only pumped water in for 30 seconds and gave me the error. I leveled again, checked and replaced the water line, Removed the side panel and cleaned the floats, replaced the flow pump and still get the same error. I have now given up, I've been beaten by LG. I've called the help line and they have been extremely helpful referring me to a technician that will come out for a minimum of about $250 to do something I should be able to do. No help just referrals. Not to be beaten by the dishwasher, at the same time, the plastic hose on our LG LRSC26922TT refrigerator water dispenser cracked and leaked a lot of water on the floor. Luckily I noticed it quickly and turned off the water. This line comes under the refer and into the door hinge up through the door and out to the dispenser through a black rubber tube. I have been through the same gauntlet as the dishwasher with 'customer care' and would like to thank them again for NOTHING. Everything I've read tells me to replace the door! Can you believe that! It's over $300.00, if I can get one! To summarize, I also have an LG washing machine that is working fine, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed every time I walk past the laundry room. I would like LG to know that I have been a fan for many years and 'was' proud to own the product because I like the style. I will NEVER buy another LG product for as long as I live. I will persuade as many people away from them unless they agree that they are willing to replace many cheap parts along the way until they have to throw their money on the sidewalk with the units they eventually have to send to a landfill. Again, costing me money to throw this junk away. I know I sound like a disgruntled consumer that thinks things should last for ever. But I've spent almost $3, 000.00 on these two appliances and will now spend more to replace them. (I've kept the water turned off on the refer and go to the store and buy a bag of ice each week to fill the ice dispenser.) The dishwasher has to be replaced or I'll be looking for a warm bed after Thanksgiving dinner. Do I think $300.00 a year, over ten years is unreasonable? I DO!
I purchased a LG dishwasher and have had nothing but problems with it, the drain pump has had to be replaced several times as well as the motor. Since Oct 17/14 I have had 4 different technicians over my place and the drain pump was replaced on 2 occasions and the third time I just refused to have it replaced yet another time. Furthermore the technician that came told me the dishwasher is well known for having such problems and that he would be requesting a replacement... Surprise surprise LF has denied the request stating they are waiting to receive reports from the warranty company, who tells me LG is the one that has all the service report copies.. I have been back and forth on the phone with Comerco (warranty company) and LG and to no avail. Today the Customer service coach or supervisor refused to take my call, and the rep refused to give me his name. I have spent hours trying to get an answer and my machine has not been working since Aug 11... I am so fed up and I will never buy another LG product, as well will be reporting them to BBB.

Hi, I had purchased this fridge three months back and there has been moisture droplets which has been formed between the top freezer door and bottom door. I don't open the fridge door frequently as well. Technician had re-fixed the door but the issue is still persistent. Vegetables are getting spoilt due to moisture droplets which are formed. I'm very dissatisfied by the way the customer service as they haven't addressed my issue and I have to keep making repeated follow ups. Technicians are not competent. I have been using LG for the past years and decided to purchase this fridge just because of good service and quality of LG, however i'm very unhappy with my purchase after seeing the poor service from LG. I am writing about a recent experience I've had with LG products. We own many LG products and recently our LG dryer of five years needed servicing. To my dismay when I called around I was told by most repair places that they could not work on it. Seeing a we needed our dryer ASAP we finally convinced someone to come out. Luckily, it was a minor issue and he was able to fix it. He informed us that he cannot get parts for LG, so he would be unable to help us if he needed a part. I find that ridiculous. I was told that I needed and LG technician and the price starts at around $260 for a home visit. In my opinion that is exorbitant, unfair and limits my choice as a consumer. Had I known this when I was looking for appliances I would have definitely not purchased LG. I buy more expensive and complex machinery e.g. SUV and I service where it I want when it's out of warranty. I am also not forced to buy aftermarket parts from one supplier. I spoke to colleagues who were unaware of your policies and the concurred that they would avoid purchasing products with such archaic rules. We live in a global economy, but your policy does not reflect that. Why can I get LG parts in the U.S., but not Canada? This is bad PR all around and I'm sure it will affect your sales as word spreads. I for one will need a new washer shortly and I plan on buying from a company with more flexibility.

Tremendous chemical smell coming from upper part of refrigerator. It has permeated all food. Water also has the same taste. This is not a mold odor, or rotten food smell. The TV is powered on; the red standby light goes off, the backlight comes on for a split second and goes out. I can see a very light picture. I can see the menu with a flashlight. When the TV is powered off the backlight comes on for a split second.e seen I have changed two of the boards and did not resolve the issue. Only thing left is the LCD panel and I can buy a new TV for the same cost. I purchased this TV new 18 months ago. Where is consumer protection! I have seen many complaints for the same issue.

Bought one front loading LG F8068NDP front loading fully automatic washing machine and this year itself three times the switch board became unserviceable and every time I had to spend Rs2500 to get it rectified. Even after calling LG Customer Service for more than 15 times and waiting even now after 10 days NO RESPONSE and seems that they are vehemently fooling me every time I call. I bought an LG double oven in February. As soon as I tried to preheat the oven, the oven filled my house up with gas. After many unsuccessful attempts to have LG have someone come out to fix the oven under its warranty, LG finally scheduled a company to come out to fix the oven. After the company attempted to fix the oven four times, the oven still leaks so much gas when I attempt to preheat the oven that I can't use it. Even though the service company has told LG that the oven is defective and they won't come attempt to repair it anymore, LG refuses to replace the oven or refund me for the cost of the oven. I have been without an oven for seven months and am currently stuck with a $1, 500 defective oven. Thanks LG!

Purchased 2011 - Compressor failed in 2015. No LG service personal in this area Oxford NC. 10 Year parts warranty is useless no one can fix this under 10 year parts warranty. Forced to void warranty and replace compressor myself. LG will claim they have service companies but when called they either don't work on LG or my location is way out of the service area. It only took 11 calls to LG to get the 4 companies. These people make the IRS look good.

Hi,
I have bought a 4K ultra HD TV 55UB850T, 2 months ago from Chroma, a reputed seller in Bangalore.
Suddenly few days back, I saw few lines in upper portion a small area on right upper portion became white.
I raised multiple complaints on the issues and one customer executive came and said due to cleaning the screen got damaged. I shown the document given by the LG itself how to clean the screen and I mentioned I followed it. Then he kept quite for some time and later he examined TV again and told the right side the panel got broken. So he told it wont come under warranty and I have to pay 42000/- to get it replaced.
I couldn't see any scratch on the top level panel and I asked them to provide the written report. They are not even bother to provide written report.

Apart from that LG website has so many flaws.
1) I can not register the product
2) They simply close the ticket and no way to open the ticket again
3) the email sent them by them is just an outbound email id and we can not reach them through email.
4) Customer care phone number picks the call with lesser wait time, but they are just saying that they forwarded the issue to local service center.
Do you know how to get the issue solved and I will get the service from LG?
It seems I do not have other options left apart from taking a legal action.
Should I go to Consumer court ? What is the procedure?
Pls advise.

I bought the most expensive LG washer dryer there is (US$ 1200) with a sign on it saying its guaranteed for 10 years. My issues with it started few months ago when the drum in my washing machine broke and I was told I need to replace it. After many phone calls and a couple of missed appointments by LG staff, they took it and told me it needed a new drum for US$214. They said the guarantee doesnt cover it. I paid and waited for 2 weeks because they had no spare parts in the entire country and must be ordered from outside. When they finally fixed it and brought it back I was shocked that it had no guarantee except for one month. Had I known that, I wouldn't have fixed it with them! Sure enough few months later and the machine broke down again. This time the glass door broke. I called LG and went again through the nightmare of missed appointments, when they finally came they said the door needs replacement for US$ 91 and I must wait again for 2 weeks. I kept asking why did it break but the guy was annoyed with my questions only saying "it happens, maybe because of the hot water" I told him that doesn't make sense because the machine heats the water on its own, but no, he insisted that "it happens". And when I flipped and complained to the company's head, they came to put a temporary door until my new door arrives. The guy said now you can use your machine until we fix the new one. Only two hours after the guy left my place, the glass door broke again and now it shredded my new expensive custom jeans. When I called they came again they said oh its because the drum was hitting the glass door it broke it.
1- the drum was new and fixed by LG few months ago so its their fault for not fixing it properly.
2- the guy said " it happens" the first time the glass door borke and didn't bother to check causing it to happen again and shred my clothes.
Now instead of being compensated for that, I received another call telling me the cost is now going to be US$ 265 for a new drum.
Meaning in total I would have paid US$ 570++ in just few months (almost 50% of the original price) and again with no guarantees.
Im shocked at the level of service and the quality of it. Instead of fixing it for free AND compensating me for the damages, I am asked to pay again.
I contacted the company head, as well as the staff but no response. I then texted them and they read it and never responded either. Its terrible the worst experience with an electronics company of my life. A complete rip off.

Dear Sir/Madam, On the 06/07/2015 I took my TV LG 47 inch LED to LG Service(ET 15 Electronics PTY Ltd) in Montague Gardens, 10 Stella Rd, Cape town .My TV is still working, but unfortunately from the Eskom Load Shedding, the TV have no picture, but sound for about 10 minutes, and then the picture comes on. And the TV works perfectly after this. I paid R.200 for quotation and I wait 4 Days for answer from them.Today I went fisically there to have answer for the quotation.I am sending you the attachment with the quot I have from them.Please can you respond to me to Whom I need to take my TV to be fix and according to the quotation I think that this is a Scam. I saw in there premisses they are selling second hand TVs and I presume are the TVs from the civil people who believe that there TVs are not wort the money to be fixed and they leave them there. Unfortunately I'm not one of them and I want assistance from You competitors to resolve this problem for not repairing my TV for the real service and price.My quotation from them is for new panel, that cost R.9200 excluding the labour, because they say is no power to the unit . I'm watching it at the moment . After I start the tv the picture starts in approximately 15 minutes, but we have sound. I purchased 49 inch television in Dubai Jan 2015, suddenly I noticed lines appearing on the screen, when I reported the issue to LG service Centre, it took almost 3 weeks for them to get the spares parts after replacing the screen still the lines are appearing and LG service Centre doesn’t have any answers to the issue, the television is still under warranty and I expect my television to be repair or replace immediately, the services LG UAE is providing to customers is absolutely pathetic and not acceptable, they are completely reactive and don’t have any values to customer requirement. I would request higher management to intervene and resolve my issue.
compressor cannot be replaced within warranty period.
We purchased an LG refrigerator (side by side doors) in July 2012 with the company claiming 10 year warranty on the compressor. 3 years hence, the fridge suddenly stopped cooling. A visit by LG Service Engineer diagnosed the problem to be with the compressor.
Ideally the compressor should get replaced, but the service station advised that compressor procurement will take lot of time so we are better off buying another fridge for 45% of cost paid for the existing one. We flatly refused since we do not wish to replace our big fridge with a small one. The initial duration promised for compressor replacement was 20 days which yesterday got extended to 47 days. Strangely, the compressor expected date is 17th July; 1 day after our fridge completes 3 years and it's exchange value reduces from 45% to 25% as per LG policy.
Calls to LG Service lead in Gurgaon to accelerate the replacement are going unanswered and the terrible heat is compounding our woes without a fridge. Will appreciate any ideas and help to resolve this situation and end our predicament.

I have always thought Lowe's was a good company to deal with until recently. We bought a four piece kitchen set. The fridge and stove was to be delivered on 6/2. At 8:30pm after I had called and asked where my appliances where they informed me that It would not be there till 6/3 No problem. The fridge has a water line and I forgot to turn the water off. The turn off for the water in in the house in a cupboard. This is where the situation turned ugly. The delivery person informed us that turning a hand down(which would shut the water off) was not his job. He the proceeded to argue with my 70yr old mother about what is not his job and he wouldn't leave the house. Before all of this I decided to install the fridge myself as I looked at the how to video, so we had no problem with this, but he wanted us to sign that he had installed the fridge and he didn't. He proceeded to tell us that police had been called before for him so he didn't care if we called the police he wouldn't leave. The only good thing with this is that his partner realized that this was wrong and he quickly called his manager to help us have another person come in and finish the install. The whole issue is the arrogance that was displayed and the inconvenience of this whole situation. My husband had bought the set for me as a gift and I was extremely happy, now I am left with anxiety and disgust of having to deal with this company. You think I would have learned from my first large purchase and delivery of a riding lawnmower when they delivered the wrong on and I walked into the store only to find my information on the one I purchased and registered still on the floor for sale. Silly me for believing the customers satisfaction comes first.
