My wife and I revisited the Dominican Republic this past May. We were approached about upgrading our membership.
We were told they would pay off our account with another company we also purchased with. We would have VIP exclusive privileges, transportation, and the option to get all inclusive or not. Rooms range from Junior Suite to 6 bedrooms. We were told we could reserve them and use the resort as a rental income vehicle and they encourage us to do so which enables them to make a sales presentation to our renters.
We placed the down payment on a new credit card with a bank they recommended.
When we returned home we found out that Lifestyle hit us twice for the down payment. Two credit cards were used, one in my name and one in my wife's. We also found out that they didn't pay off our other timeshare. I am making payments on both cards and my other timeshare. We have a dispute with the bank holding the credit cards which we don't have a decision on. When the deferred payments to Lifestyle are to start, they will not be getting any more money.
They keep referring me to the contact signature page but leave out the page that they agreed to purchase our other time share contract.
If you have a complaint against Lifestyle let me know as we have a attorney. This may turn into a class action suit. Thanks.
