LoanCare service

This company just literally stole my home from through bullying and misleading. We followed every instruction we were given to correct their mistakes but yet and still I was forced out. I had so much equity in my home even at purchase and honestly feel that this is why. My monthly payment went from 1100.00 a month to 1600.00 without any warning. I tried to comply with all requests and even went through their loss mitigation program which did nothing for me but put me further behind. At foreclosure they sent a cash for keys letter offering me money to move by a certain date but I did not even receive this letter until after their response deadline. After calling several times and talking to reps who had no Idea what I was talking about, I was told to submit another form that they claim to have never received and therefore offer is rescinded. I'm so devastated and my credit is destroyed.

LoanCare loan foreclosure

Our loan was sold to loan care, we were told we had 60 days to make the payment since we just bought our house and were first time home buyers, we never received any paperwork from them with payment info after the 60 days we called them to make a payment, they refused our payments until we could come up with the full amount! This has been going on for 8 months! We owe them (with fees $14, 323) we offered them $12, 000 to stop the foreclosure! They won't accept it! They listed our house for sale while we are still trying to get them to accept payments! Their customer service sucks they put you on hold forever and then refuse to work with you, or they tell you to apply for programs that they know you will be denied for! We got approved for our loan but now loan care says we don't make enough $ to pay for the loan we have so they won't work with us! We have 4 children and are trying to be foster parents and have a small animal rescue. And now wehave people coming to our home looking at it, even though we have made several attempts to work with them and get our home out of forclosure! This is the worst company ever, they rather make a family homeless then work with them! All we want to do is make our loan payment and keep our home! LoanCare is making it impossible to do that

Have they foreclosed? They can't list it for sale unless they hold title to it, which they could only do if they have foreclosed. If they have not yet foreclosed, they are likely sending inspectors out to your house to see if the property is vacant. They are required to do this once the loan reaches a certain delinquency but may stop the inspectors from going out if you verify with them that you are indeed still living there. Again, this is only if they have not yet foreclosed. From what I can tell, this is an awful company, so they may not stop the inspections - they aren't required to do so. Not in defense of them at all, but for most loss mitigation programs, you have to have had your loan for a year in order to be approved - and that's not a LoanCare thing, that is determined by the type of loan you have (FHA, VA, USDA, etc.). If foreclosure has started, you likely won't be able to get out of it without paying the full amount due to reinstate your loan.

LoanCare loan transfer from ditech to loancare llc

My mortgage loan from Ditech was recently transferred to LoanCare LLC. I received all the transfer information from Ditech and the "Welcome" letter from LoanCare LLC. Trying to create a new account on LoanCare LLC's website to no avail. Have read that LoanCare LLC has an "F" rating; no surprise!

Today I decided to call LoanCare LLC for help in establishing an on-line account to make payments, here are the results:
1st call on hold for 25 minutes, got disconnected
2nd call on hold for 23 minutes, got disconnected
3rd call, and still holding for 49 minutes...

LoanCare payment processing

Hi

My name is Eric. Loancare took over my loan from ditech for my home. I attemted to make a first time payment of 907.00$ and instead they took a payment for an unauthorized amount of 1702.05$ . They called to tell me there was an error in the payment processing but they could not stop it because it went through on their end. I went to my bank to put a stop payment for that amount and as of this morning the funds are pending and my bank won't know until morning if the stop payment worked. So until then loancare stole my money and right at the moment im not able to spend those funds. I have a family to take care of and this is causing a huge hardship. I am interested right now in contacting a lawyer and sueing them.

LoanCare mortgage servicing transfer from ditech to loancare, llc

I recently had my Ditech mortgages sent to LoanCare, LLC for servicing. They are a very unprofessional company. I just sat on hold for over 2 hours and no one ever picked up my call. I never received the coupon they were to send me with information as to where to send my payments. I just need to know if this is a legitimate company. The paper work I received from them shows the address being in Virginia Beach but the phone message says to send mortgage payments to an address in California. All the negative comments about them on this site makes me nervous to send any money to them. Any alternatives?

LoanCare not forwarding payment to current loan company or returning $2300

Loan care has already been caught, investigated, and sanctioned once in 2015. They keep the payments that they no longer service instead of returning to bank of former client or forwarding to legal mortgage servicing company. They need to be investigated and the defrauded consumers restored their money. They have a 1 on Yelp and BBB. The internet is full of complaints. Why isn't the CFPB doing anything?!

You received a payment of $2300 on a loan number that is no longer used by you but is now with The Money Source, Inc. Instead of returning the payment per regulations and the law, or forwarding it to the correct company, you have refused to send the money back causing financial duress. Your customer service department lies and stone walls. Your 'specialists' Justin Johnson and Karen White tell the CFPD they will contact me but never answer any of my messages or emails, and I am over 8 weeks without one entire house payment. I have contacted the CPPB, the California department of business oversight, the OCC, the BBB, US Bank and The Money Source. You have refused to return or forward the money. It is time you are re investigated as you were in 2015 and sanctioned.

LoanCare online access to my loan

Loancare acquired by loan from ditech. I am in an active bankruptcy for 4 1/2 years now. With ditech, I was able make payments online and see my balance. Since being acquired by loancare, apparently it is their policy that active bankruptcy accounts are not allowed to have online access at all whether it is to make payments or verify your balance. This is ridiculous and unacceptable! Not to mention, I created an account and had access for the first month and then it was taken away because of the bankruptcy status. Each time I have called to speak to a representative, my wait time is 20 to 45 minutes. Again, unacceptable! I was told that I am not the first to make this complaint but this is their policy. The company sucks and is not customer friendly at all. Please note that even before my hardship, I have never been late on my mortgage payment which my phone representative could see and agreed. So why the punishment! This company is a disgrace!

I refinanced my home and got shorted money from new loan provider asked why they stated your old mortgage company failed to pay your property taxes. If you hadn't refinanced You would have had 21% tax from company by taxes like a day away . I lost money . They didn't follow that FHA federal guidelines . There more to it got hung up on 5/6 times . Supervisor hung up on me and won't answer my call

LoanCare holding on to money to collect interest

I have an investment property I sold on a wrap. The buyer makes his payment every month by the 10th and LoanCare hold on to the payment and doesn't process the payment for up to 12-15 days later. I was told by someone that used to work for them, that they do this in order to make interest on your money. Isn't that illegal or at the least unethical?

LoanCare mortgage service

This company is awful! I have been on hold for over 1 1/2 hours now... Took a screen shot of my phone... At 48 min. Chris came on the line, then put me on hold and has not come back... Maybe he went to lunch and left me on hold... Who know!
Anyways this lame company purchased my loan from the money source and its been a problem since then... They are trying to charge me a prepayment penalty and my origonal loan from the money source did not have a prepayment clause. I have called each month for the last 3 months and keep being told that the error would be corrected and is has not... Last month angelique assured me that this error would be corrected and it was not, (which that phone call took over an hour to be corrected) and now, a moth later and another 1 hour and 40 min. I am still on hold and no return to the call from chris. This is lame. The customer service is so poor it makes me wish my loan was being serviced oversea... At least someone would answer my call. Someone needs to comphensate mew for time wasted!

LoanCare mortgage processor

I have been with LoanCare/Lakeview since I purchased my home in 08/2018.There is not enough space to tell you what they have done. They doubled my mortgage on my credit dropping my credit by 100 points, gave me a late payment in 08/18 when I bought the home, (1st payment was due in October), created two loan numbers and have misplaced a payment. They say they see the problem and will fix it right away and claim that it is a simple fix. The money was sent in a month earlier and I still paid my regular mortgage amount. They reversed the money several times until they just couldn't find it. They call me every Monday saying I am behind a payment. When I tell them to read the case comments, they always say "I see the problem, your money has not been applied, we will fix it". It is April and I spent most of my time at work mind you, on the phone with a representative, escalated to a supervisor to tell me the same thing. I don't even have the patience to say I had this same conversation on Friday with someone else. I have contacted Better Business Bureau to make a complaint, but LoanCare sent some cookie cutter answer back saying they are looking into it and that was that. I have tried reaching out to housing, Sallie Mae, the president of LoanCare and anyone else I can write too or call to no avail. They are sending me foreclosure notices when I have always been current. They have the money, they just won't apply it to the correct loan (since there is still two loans)! My credit has been effected each month, which is the most disappointing part because I actually felt good about paying on time, only to have this happen. I'm exhausted from reaching out to them and I have a notebook full of all the people I speak with for hours at a time. I am not sure of what else to do outside of getting an attorney. I am a single parent so I was trying not to shell out $1500 for the attorney but looks like I will have to. I will also be contacting the Federal Trade Commission but doubt that works either. Oh and I still have 2 loan numbers when I call in. One is 0$ on my credit and they started a new one.

LoanCare lost payment

I made a payment via online banking to bring my account current. Payment was for 80, 000 dollars. At my first attempt my payment was returned to my bank saying it was not the correct payoff. I call several times explaining that it was not a payoff. I attempted to sent the same payment to LoanCare. This time they have appeared to have lost my payment. They said it was returned to my bank again but it was not. This has been going on for over a month now. Each time I call it is a long wait, supervisors tell me that they are working at "fixing it". They promise to follow up and call back, nobody does. I am so stressed! This is my life savings! What can I do?

LoanCare products /service

Hurricane victims that were placed in special forbearance program came out of forbearance into pre foreclosure by loan care modifying our VA loan to 5% instead of offering a repayment plan! Reported our loan delinquent during special forbearance period. Home has a lot of equity prior to the disaster of Hurricane Irma no help to repair home or even collect insurance. We are now in foreclosure and losing our home thanks to loancare!

LoanCare mortgage

We structured our payment for a two week payment that was automatically drafted and they agreed to this arrangement. Every single month say we are late on payment so they can hold the loan and so we are not eligible to refinance to get a better interest rate which they said we would after 6 months. It has been almost 20 and my once great credit has gone down the drain with the extra money they hold to supposedly pay unforeseen taxes on the property then blame it on the FHA rules and regulations. We gave them a new primary number to call so while at work I I wouldn't get call after call that I can't answer and then they still call that number and mark it as attempt to contact. This company should be criminally investigated.

LoanCare mortgage

This is the worst mortgage experience i've had! Closing a refi with fairway independent mortgage just to get away. Initially my mortgage was with lake view, loan care must've bought them out so I had no choice. They charge a fee for breathing, $12 dollars for over the phone automated payment and $10 through your online. I took them off auto-pay because they claimed they "couldn't locate" the acct number when its always been the same since I started with lakeview. This caused me to miss a payment and I had no clue as I received payment confirmation via email like always. It wasn't caught in time and their error caused me a 30 day on my credit dropping my near perfect credit 60 points! After disputing and calling them countless times no one can ever answer any questions. So i'm now closing on my re-fi with fairway independent mortgage, rates are up now but would honestly take the point higher over having to stick with loan care! Brian scuitto's team at fairway mortgage is amazing with their customer service and they all know what's going on!

LoanCare being told that I am behind when i'm not.

Today, (12/28/18) I received a delinquent notice when my loan is current. This has happened quite a lot in the past few months. I brought my account current on December 14th.in a phone call with them early in December, I was told that I had to pay $974.71 to bring the account current. I paid that amount on December 14th as stated above. It seems to me that there's a communication problem within Loan Care. I'm assuming that the billing department is who sends out the monthly statements. It looks to me like the billing department is not being notified of the payments I make. I got my payment statement for the payment due January 1, 2019 and it shows I owe around $1, 850. This I know isn't true.

Same excuse as always, missing papers etc. They finally responded after 3 months by doubling my mortgage payments for the past due and current! Well doc gave my husband another 2 months off and I contacted loancare to explain the situation. They said we will send u a form. Nothing other than a pre foreclosure letter stating there is still time to help, please contact us! Umm yeah I've been calling and nothing! My email is [protected]@yahoo.com
