no cole slaw, old tartar sauce
On Sept 29, 2017, I ate at JLS around 7 p.m. When placing my order, the cashier said there was no cole slaw. That surprised me because it was a Friday night...fish and cole slaw go together. I should've just walked out at that point. When I got my fish and fries meal, the fish was 1/2 the thickness that is use to be and the breading wasn't like it used to be either ( the original breading has changed).
There were no ketchup packets out. The tartar sauce on the condiment table was in small plastic cups...no ice underneath. When I opened it up, it was translucent and runny. I went up to tell the person at the counter, he went back to get some more. When he returned, it was the same as the one I gave him plus it wasn't chilled which tells me that there were more that weren't refrigerated. It was only after I asked if there were any packets of tartar sauce that he gave me a few. After a little while one of the employees brought out some cups of tartar sauce with ice underneath it. I was very disappointed in the experience at that location. I hope all of the locations aren't the same as that one.
Food - chicken
On September 28, I bought 2 chicken meals from Long John Silvers, Hermitage, PA. I get food from there at least twice a month. This is the first time I have an issue. On 28th I put the leftover pieces in the freezer. Today when I was eating them, I saw a dark streak in one of the pieces. I cut it open lengthwise to see what it is. I saw some disgusting thing inside. I don't know what it is. It is dark green with layers and about the size of a nickel. I took pictures. I am posting them here.
After seeing that I could not eat the rest of the pieces and now I am not sure if I would go there again to get chicken. I hate that this happened, because Long John Silvers was one of my favorite places.
my entire order
Ordered and 8 pc meal will french fries and cole slaw. 2 additional pieces of fish and a pineapple cream cheese pie. I have 7 pieces of fish. Didnt get 8 pieces or my 2 additional, i got a handful of french fries that was cold. It was suppose to be a family fry. Not even enough for 2 small fries. My cole slaw is expired and frozen. Date prepared say 9/22, discard date says 9/27, today is 9/29 how gross. Pineapple cream cheese pie frozen as well. I paid $25.86 for food i cant feed my children. This is so gross! Location is 3103 North Gettysburg Ave. I called the phone number on receipt 10 times for it to ring to a fax. I cant return food as im headed to work and stopped to feed children before hand. Unsatisfied in every way. Time and money wasted on inedible food. And the oil is dirty little black specks all over the fried food.

Went out of my way to get your fish sandwich cause I really like it and love your tartar sauce. Had to wait which was no problem. But when I get home the fish is on a plain stale bun, no cheese like it usually has then I bite into it and pulled out a pickle. Long John Silver's in Wilson NC shares with KFC. I am just wondering why French Fries are not offered in place of potato wedges. I just can't get used to the potato wedges with the fish. The sides offered tonight were green beans, cole slaw and potato wedges. It seems like the options get smaller and smaller. he potato wedges were luke warm and hard like they had been under the heat lamp for hours. The meal was served in a KFC box with everything piled together. The crunchies that people like to get with the meal were almost non -existant. I know this is probably not get too much attention. It just makes me wonder if it is wrth the 20 minute drive just to get a fish meal.
missing food and cold food
Last night we went through the Moberly mo long john silvers around 920 pm. I order the fish and chicken platter. I got one cold fish and chicken fries were cold and missing cole slaw. My husband got that new shrimp platter on the menu board it showed the shrimp with fish he got just the shrimp cold food once again. We paid over 17 dollars for cold food. I called the manger. She informed that they were cooking to order since 830. If that was the case we should had waited longer then 2 minutes at the drive thur. I love eating at long john silvers but this was the worst service and food i have eaten. Very up set that i had to waist my money for poor food

couldn't get anyone to wait on us
Today 9-3-2017 at 12:20pm we went into LJS/A&W to get some fish and no one would wait on us. There wasn't a line waiting or anyone else in front of us. One girl walked passed us 3 time and didn't say a word. She was filling up the straws and other things. as we were leaving this woman came up to the other side from where we were standing and just looked at us and i said we are leaving because no one would say anything or wait on us. She didn't say a word just looked at us. When we came in the place had a funny smell like old grease but i wanted fish anyways and i didn't get anything not even a hello. I guess the next time i want fish i will go to another location..

I ordered fish and shrimp to go. I've never had an issue with LJS before so I never really look in the bag to check it first. But I should have this day. My shrimp were super dark and overly crunchy and the inside was chewy. I don't know if it was over cooked or bad breading. I moved on to the fish and it was about as dark as the shrimp except I know this wasn't burnt, the inside was freaking froze. The only thing I was able to put in my mouth was the soda. As mad as I was I even put a shot in it hoping to at least enjoy something that I purchased.

Wait was long only one customer order in front of mine.
Girl who took the order acted like she didn't know how to do my order on the computer and Read it back to me per my order, but neglected to order my meal correctly.
Upon preparation of my order it was made incorrectly. One item was and L8 8 shrimp with fries, coleslaw and hush puppies. She proceeded to prepare the shrimp with out the fries and coleslaw until I reminded her of the order and the second item I ordered was a Bacon double cheeseburger, with no onion, pickles tomato. To my understanding it came with lettuce. I got no lettuce and No Bacon. I also ordered fries with it, but she did not have them on the receipt, so I had to swipe my debt card again. I had to tell them twice tartar sauce and cocktail sauce; and they still for got and I had to ask for it again. I got everything home and it was cold and greasy. I was not able to eat it and It was not cheap food by any means. Very dissatisfied customer

I went through the drive thru and sat at the speaker for 5 minutes before I went to the window to place my order and the at the window was very rude and l spent 30 minutes there and was late getting back to work. When I finally got my food and started to complain the girl slammed the window in my face. I called and asked to speak to a manager and got the general manager and he asked me what I expected him to do. I won't be going back.
I stopped at the long John silvers/Kentucky fried chicken in mt Vernon mo. for lunch. The fish was GREASY, overcooked and very dry. The fries were not any better. I am very disappointed in the whole situation. I believe I truly wasted my money.

fish and shrimp platters
The fish looked and tasted burnt I live 10-15 minutes and didn't want to fight traffic to go back during rush hour. Your company you too at least put a small bed of crumbs to make the platters look appealing now they just put your order in the box. I ordered 2 platters and for $9.39 each they could have at least make sure the food is not burnt. I would like to hear from you about this issue
twelve piece fish family dinner
My wife and I were passing through Alamosa Colorado yesterday Aug. 20 2017 at about 430pmand it took a long time to get and to our surprise the fish was way over cooked had to throw it away, just so hungry and could not eat what disappointment. a bunch of kids running the place, they seemed totally involved with there personnel issues, and not customer service, I will never stop there again, most likely will tell all my friends and family about our experience.
never get what you order, and they never fill up the cups

contaminated food, filthy employees and prep area
Normally I enjoy eating at the store in Midwest City, OK but I don't think I can go back. My corn was contaminated with rice and bits of crab meat, mixed together. Employees were attired in filthy black shirts and clothing and the prep area was a nightmare. I watched one employee prep food then pull out his cell phone.
