I visited your the location in La vista NE (drive through window)and was very disappointed in the food quality and the service. I actually said to my husband that I thought the server was nice but seemed high, or extremely distracted, maybe untrained.
I ordered the fish and chicken dinner and my husband ordered the 2 piece chicken plank meal, we also ordered a crab cake and a side of clams.
I received the wrong order, I got the 1 piece chicken, 2 fish and 3 shrimp meal. The fish was so overcooked is was dry and hard, I ended up feeding it to the dogs. My cole slaw was warm and only half filled, I didn't receive any hush puppies and my fries were cold, the chicken plank was half the size it used to be and the fish were much smaller than the last time I ordered this meal, about a month ago. The clams were not cooked properly as the breading was doughy.
My husband said his chicken planks were smaller than mine.
We will not be returning to that location because of the poor quality of the food and the order being wrong. I checked the receipt and it was correct.
The service was okay but our wait time for the order was 18 minutes and the order was wrong and the food was pretty bad.
I don't know if this is a franchise and the franchise owner is cutting corners but the brand name is being damaged, I will try another location in the future although there isn't one as close and it will be an inconvenience to do so, If the same thing happens at another location then sadly I won't be spending another dollar at Long John Silver's.
I know that food costs increase, and the cost of labor has too, however I expect a product that is edible, and meets my expectation, not half the portion as was sold to me 2 weeks prior, and the right food. If the employees don't know what is supposed to be in the order then provide pictures or have proper management there to oversee.
Our order was over $23.00 and was worth about $10
This occurred around 6pm on July 17, 2019 at the location at 84th and Giles in LaVista NE, it is partnered with an A & W Root Beer.

I am writing to someone in regards to how my child was treated by a so called manager working there. My child loved her job, was working there for almost 3 months. Need i mind you my child is only 16! She chose to work there for her first job and i supported her in her decision she was always on time to work, any time someone called her to come in on her days off she would go any time they wanted her to come in earlier than her scheduled shift or to stay late she did so as well with no complaint! This certain manager there has always been mean to her! giving her more work that others, yelling at her for doing clean up like she is supposed to heck! even got yelled at for taking the trash out! because she didnt ask to take it out first? seriously! and now i have proof that she has done all this for meanness to get rid of my daughter! and I have half a mind to get that person to complain against this said manager! because if you tell another employee someone elses business that is breaking confidentiality code! and this said manager tells this said employee finally had to write her up to get rid of her or had to make her mad just to get rid of her! i want someone to contact me asap on this matter cause this is unacceptable behavior and bad for your business!

Hi my name is crystal Ufie I'm writing to you because I had a very bad visit today at one of your locations in Plano Texas, the adress is 1100 east Parker road, Plano Texas 75074, first off I ordered a 2 piece chicken meal with hush puppies fries and a pineapple cream cheese pie. On July 5th 2019 around 2 to 3 pm afternoon. A nice African American woman took my order but to my surprise when I broke into my chicken, it was discussing gooey red and black in side horrible so I walked over to the counter hoping to speak to the nice lady who took my order when a different white female employee, over heard me and asked what I wanted I showed her the chicken and told her I wanted a refund she didn't respond and I asked why it was like that and she said all the chicken is cooked like that and looks like that which upsetted me because she had no concern and that someone would say that and sev that to guest she just kept insisting that she could give me other pieces of chicken I said no so she was mad and instead of giving me a refund like I wanted she gave me fish ? I didn't want any of that the fish also seeemed gooey and uncooked not fresh I threw it away I'm so upset that this restaurant would serv such slop people can get sick like that she should have been more concerned and interested but she wasn't I didn't get her name or even know if she was a manager but I think she should be fired for that behavior and people can sue this location because of this incident I'm very upset and would like someone to get back to me ASAP my phone number is [protected]

We bought an 8 piece fish dinner tonight with hush puppies and fries. Well the 8 pieces of fish were so over cooked you couldn't eat them. We didn't bother checking it till we got home and opened the box up. And the fish we really small also must have been laying there for some time. I am very displeased with this order. It was done in St clairsville Ohio. I will not be going back there again wow you need to do something about them over cooking this and actually serving it to customers. Thank you. Cindy.

This is in reference to the Long John Silver's Restaurant at 3810 Stateline Texarkana, Texas. I've seen many complaints (online) in the past year or so in regards to the service at this establishment and the building itself is in dire need of renovations. I am not typically a complainer but would love to see a better atmosphere at LJS in Texarkana. We LOVE the food at LJS but I have to admit, it's not the cleanest or updated place around.

It's chunks instead of shredded.. And it tastes like it's molded... It's rotten... I have been tempted to have it analyzed to see if has mold in it... I cannot believe you can allow it... food was hard and dry and two people was messing with each other
I and my family came threw Long John Silver weeks ago and order a family fish meal and it was dry and old. The location is Griffin Ga. We were coming from Jackson, Ga. We wanted Fish and more, so we decided stopped there. There were a white lady and a black with dreads that day. I and my family wanted to sit and eat the food and we saw them messing with each, so we decided just left the store with the food. I don't think we need that customers service like that. If they are a couple that shouldn't work together, like that. What will you do about that? Also walking out the store I saw a cockroach on the wall. I promise me and my family will not visit there anymore.
The place was hot and need air condition.

I went thru drive thru after ordering 1 fish and 8 shrimp. I was at the window and they gave me 3 fish and no shrimp. I asked for what I ordered and the cashier had my order on her screen, so she made the error. They wanted the 3 fish back to throw in the trash and I said no, that I would pay for her mistake rather than wasting food. I finally was given my shrimp, and the total for 1 fish and 8 shrimp was almost $22.00. I asked for a free biscuit for the error and my wait time at the window and I was told that the store manager would call the police. The fish was so greasy that I could hardly hold onto it. I am requesting free food for 4 people to make up for the nasty, greasy fish and the threat of calling the police. I also think that the manager for 426 E Michigan St, on 5/28 at 6 pm should be written up for being so rude. She is absolutely not a good representative for this store. I would like her fired. I plan NOT to go back to this or any other store, and I suggest that no-one go to this lousy store.

store G135201 the fish was so nasty and greasy we ended up throwing it in the trash, the hush puppies were as brown on the inside as they were on the outside, we drove about 35 miles from our home in Thomasville NC to Winston Salem NC we spent like 37 dollars for 4 of us, I have had diarrhea like 10 times since Friday Night, so needless to say we wont be going there again. feel free to call me with any questions

coupons not accepted, specials not offered
I get emails and mailings with coupons and special offerings such as $1 fish tacos and crab cakes on a regular basis. The store I frequent is #29273 in Salem, NH, a combination LJS and Taco Bell. They never have the specials saying they are a franchise. I have used some coupons there in the past, but yesterday I tried to use a buy one, one free variety platter and the manager refused to accept it. I would go elsewhere but it is the only LJS anywhere near me. Why bother with the mailings and coupons if your franchise stores have limited services and products.
terrible drive through and in store service
I just spent more than 30 minutes in line at the drive thru (no apology for the wait) then got down the road and realized that half of my order was not in the bag. So I turned around and went back and went inside the restaurant and explained about the wait and half the order being missing. Again, no apology for the wait, or the oversight. They just handed me the missing items and turned around. There are only 6 booths and a total of 12 customers in the restaurant, and the drive through line is still all the way around the store and moving at a snail's pace... Seriously? I've worked in fast food, this was unacceptable!
I ask for fish instead of chicken
I came into LJS on a Monday afternoon around 3:08 pm to try a sampler platter . I came inside for a reason, reason being going through the drive thru is almost suicide when you want something special done. Anyway I ordered my platter and mentioned I want to trade the chicken for a piece of fish they repeated back and I go sit down and wait for my order to be prepared. After 10 minutes lady brought me my food Thank you ! I get all the way home and what's the first thing slap me in the face is the piece of chicken, now I've made it home and hungry but you know it's not what I paid for so I called the restaurant and get no answer. To me my whole meal was ruined by one piece of chicken.

broken ice machine
Me and my wife went to Long John Silver's on Cache Road in Lawton Oklahoma for lunch today 4-22-2019. When order our food the lady at the counter told us that there was no ice would it be ok that we did not have ice for our drinks. Not knowing the situation we told her that was fine, the next customers that can in placed their orders and again the lady proceeded to tell her that there was no ice for their drinks. The customer told the lady behind the counter that she came in to their restaurant 3 weeks ago and was told the same thing, A gentlemen can from the back and told her that is was not his fault that is was a corporate problem that they didn't want to fix the ice machine at the drink station. That is a very poor excuses for customers not to have ice for their drinks, I will not be eating at that Long John Silvers again, very poor business.

My sister and I ordered a fish plate, my sister asked Ruben (csr) she wanted coleslaw instead of the fries n he said he couldn't change the order because he had already summited her order with fries...very bad customer service, then 25 minutes had gone by and we still hadn't gotten our plates...we finally got them, and the fish was over fried..so my sister took our plates back another guy came out probably the Manager, he started cussing at my sister. Wow I couldn't believe it..he didn't give us our receipt back...He was mad because we asked for our money back due to poor customer service and the fish was over cooked. Thank you
