management team
It was my fiance's birthday and he loves steak. We decided to go to LongHorn as it's close to the house.
I had planned on spending good money for a good steak on a special occasion. To start, everything was great. He ordered the Longhorn with corn on the cob. I ordered the NY strip with a lobster tail. We both ordered a salad and stated that we wanted it prior to our dinner. We asked what the seasonal beer was for Sam Adams. The waitress stated she wasnt sure and also stated that it was her first day. We are a very forgiving couple as everyone has to start somewhere. She had a great personality. Quite some time went by and we received our dinners..not the salads. The Male that brought out our dinner realized the mistake immediately and apologized. A couple of minutes later, the manager approached our table, also apologetic. He stated he will take the salads off our tab. THE SALADS OUR INCLUDED! We didnt want to fuss as it's been a long day at work and we were both tired. Well, my dinner was perfect. His, on the other hand was overcooked and he couldn't even get it down. Hes not one to leave a leftover steak but he didnt even eat half of it. It was that bad. The corn was also cold as if it had been sitting in the window for too long. We received the full bill and when it was brought to us, it was just sat on the table..no apologies...nothing. For future reference, if there is an issue and the manager realizes it and states he will rectify it, maybe he should. I dont blame the NEW waitress. I think the location and management team have a big part. We will never return and our family and friends will know our disgust unless there is some way that this can be rectified. I won't return but maybe he can grab a sandwich for lunch as he is on the road for 12 hours a day. We were there June 5th approx. 2000 hours at the Pineville location. My name is Sara Bishop and the dinner was purchased with my card. Thanks
flat iron steak
My steak was so salty it was not edible my wife's small sirloin was also salty but not as bad. This is a new restaurant and I think the cook has not got the seasoning right I have had numerous steaks at other Longhorns and they where great. Other complain there have also been salty complains. I am a loyal longhorn customer and hope that something can be corrected at this restaurant.

I ordered take out on 5/18/2018 at the bartlett location in Memphis, Tn. I ordered 2 of the Renegade Sirloin 8oz & Redrock Grilled shrimp and more items. I asked for my steaks to be well done, which they seem like there were well they looked like they were. The next day i wasn't feeling well thought it wasn't nothing serious. May 22, 2019, I woke up feeling a lil more sicker so i took a hot bath i felt ok not better still feeling sick so I laid down 3 hours later i started feeling a lot worser than before Its a pain i never felt before my whole body ached and i was burning up, i was so hot i couldn't bare it. call ahead seating
Both Long Horn near me have this on the website but are not participating. When I called I was told if the link isn't active then that means they are not participating.
That is ridiculous. I don't care if they don't participate but don't have it on the website like they do and then speak to a customer when they call like they are stupid and don't know. Most people think the link is broken not shut off.
When you ask a stupid question they think that you are stupid.
food/poor customer service
Let me start by saying I visit the Hanover, MD Longhorn at least twice per month. The customer service and food is always superb. While on vacation I visited Longhorn of San Juan thinking that I would be provided with food and service as back home. Well...this wasn't the case. In fact the staff were huddled in the corners upon arrival congregating. The menu was different as expected. The order came out totally wrong. They did not send the entire plate back so I could eat it as one but only the sides which were incorrect. I had a side salad which are always terrific. Not this one. At least half included rotten, brown and wilted lettuce. The potato's were burnt and blackened. I informed the waiter and manager on duty who acted as though this is regular practice and asked me what did I want them to do instead of replacing it with fresh, properly cooked food. I left very disappointed as Longhorn is my favorite place to eat! The manager and waiter were more than rude and did not withstand the magical customer service experience that I expect from Longhorn.
customer service
I am filing a complaint against the manager at the Longhorn on 2256 Mount Zion Parkway Morrow, Ga 30260 because the service there was very poor and there was one manager in particular that I wanted to complain on. Her name is Tracy and she was very rude. We called for reservations to be seated and serviced at 8:45pm on May 23rd, 2019. The employees seated everyone that came in after my party of 10 and when asked what was taking so long, she took even longer. There was poor clean up time and no one was trying to seat my party. Told me that was not going to service me and got all in my face telling in front of my son what she wasn't going to do. When asked to speak with her to ask what was taking so long to be seated, she would not confront me to speak with me. Tracy the manager continued to send the hostess to communicate to me instead of coming to talk with me herself. She did not want to seat my party at the table wear it could have accommodated my party of 10. Even some of the staff was rude. They were trying to brush us off and getting really nasty. I am really mad because on this day was my sons graduation and he was heart broken that he was not able to sit down and have a nice meal on his special day with his family. So for that reason alone I am highly upset and I will never do business at that location ever again. Being a manager myself, I would have never addressed the situation the way that Tracy the manager did. I am escalating this issue to the highest power if this situation is not addressed appropriately. Thanks
Can someone please reach out to me.
I have unauthorised transaction Rs 7900.00 from your company on my account pls reverse back on my account .
I feel sorry for your son. You threw a temper tantrum and embarrassed him on his graduation.

food
Family and I went to longhorn on Mother's Day. The food was horrible. Broccoli was old was send back twice. Then received a salad and it was old. I was very disappointed in the food and this was suppose to be a special day for me. The waiter did not pay attention to what we ordered had to tell her several times overall worse experience. I do not think I will be dinning there again
prime rib steak
We come to the Thomasville ga restaurant every week and I was served the end piece of prime rib it was so tough that you couldn't stick a fork in it and management acted like they didnt care we waited over a hour for a salad and refills. Do not recommend this place. Tables where not cleaned off floor was very nasty. Table next to us waited over a hour and a half for food to find out that there food was not even out in to kitchen.
Fix whole restaurant
hygiene and food contamination!
My Family and I had dinner at your Rosedale location in Baltimore last night. Our waitress was polite and friendly. However, immediately I noticed her brightly painted 3"+ long fingernails. My wife kept me quiet at this point. When she brought us our salads I was completely disgusted that her nails reached deep into our salad bowls. I couldn't eat my salad...

On 5/12 we called at 11:01 to have call ahead seating. At about 12:15 my mother went up to ask when we were going to be called. The hostess stated you have been there waiting 1 hour and 14 minutes. She said our name was the next one. They were cleaning our table. The manager apologized about the long wait. And stated he would buy us free appetizers . Then he came back to us and stated that no we were not next. Stated that another table was next. Said they had been waiting 1 hour 51 minutes. We asked how that was possible since they did not open until 11:00? At this point in his best management skills he said "well there are other dining options". We were floored. Very poor customer service. And this is who is in charge of employees. Upon arriving at the restaurant we noticed a good portion of the tables were not seated. But there were people waiting to be seated. One of the waitresses said that is because all of the staff is not here yet. Again poor management. When you know that you are going to be swamped. So thanks to the poor management. And the great manager informing us in other words we can just go away. Never in my life have I dealt with such rude arrogant people. The hostess apologized as we left. She stayed you were next.
pest and food
I was eating at the longhorn on presidential way off city avenue in Philadelphia PA on 5/8/19 at 5:00 pm. I was sitting at the bar and ordered food and the waitress took my order, there were little flies a bunch of them flying around the bar coming from the back of it, this was so annoying that I had to waving them
away and couldn't enjoy my food. then I had to re-order my steak it was well done I ordered medium.
unethical behavior
After applying to this Longhorn location (Hancock Village - Chesterfield, Va), my sister was called in for an interview. She arrived ON TIME for her interview and was left waiting for 40+ minutes without any instruction or anyone checking in to give her an update (blatant disrespect). Once the manager (a white male reeking of cigarettes) finally came out to speak with her, the interview lasted all of 3 minutes before he dismissed her. He told her that they don't hire college students because students don't know how to work and they usually leave after a few months anyway - he then proceeded to suggest that she apply to the Mexican restaurant down the street. Not only was the entire experience completely unprofessional and inappropriate, but it was clearly biased and discriminatory. I'm not sure if he did his due diligence before they called my sister in for an interview but if he did then he would've already known she was a college student - so either he didn't prepare properly or he saw that she was a young woman of color and wrote her off before even giving her a chance. Obviously, this is not a place people of color are welcomed at unless they are giving the establishment money, but it's 2019 for God's sake and we cannot afford to stay silent in the face of injustice. I hope that you all take this feedback and make sure that it never happens again!
the smell in the restaurant
My friend and I entered into the Longhorn in Prattville, AL. Upon entering, we noticed a strong stench. We were immediately seated. As we sat there waiting on our server, the scent began to make us sick to our stomachs. This is not the first time I've been in there and the smell was noticeable but today it was worse. I don't know if it's the carpeting or what. We ended up leaving and going somewhere else before our server came.
disheartening experience
We are disheartened to have to make this complaint being long time customers of Longhorn however our experience this afternoon at the Merritt Island restaurant was horrific. We left the restaurant embarrassed, uncomfortable and anxiety ridden and will be taking all of ours and our extended families business to the Viera restaurant in the future. We no longer feel comfortable entering the Merritt Island restaurant after today's display of unprofessionalism.
I will try to summarize as much as possible however feel this requires a phone conversation.
First, my husband has PTSD and can be triggered by loud voices and commotion which is why we typically have an early dinner when going out to a restaurant before all the Friday night crowds arrive. It was approximately 4PM when we arrived. Shortly after being seated and ordering our food a woman came in and was seated behind us with 4 young children. The woman was speaking VERY LOUDLY and yelling at her children continuously. The children were being very loud as well. The woman must have been an employee or some kind acquaintance of the restaurant because Longhorn staff began coming over chatting with her, and surrounding her table. The sound level increased. At this point my husband was beginning to get nervous. I asked if he wanted to move and he decided to try to stick it out.
A manger came walking over to the woman's table and I was quietly hoping he was coming to calm the commotion but instead he says to the woman "what can we do for you today?" And the woman responds, "I only have $40 so whatever we can do with that." The manger responds, " you order whatever you want from the menu and l will make sure it equals $40 or less." He walks away. That was extremely unprofessional to say in front of other paying customers who may be on a fixed income as well like ourselves. I do not know the woman's situation, I am sure there was a reason for the VIP treatment but those types of conversations should be kept private not spoken loudly for other patrons to hear. Mind you our dinner was nearly $100 for the 4 of us and that table of 5 ate for $40.
Moving forward. The noise level continued to rise. The children were being so rambunctious even the woman with the children threw her hands in there and shouted "that's it! I've had enough!" And gets up and walks away from the table of children. Then our food arrives and my husband can not tolerate the noise any longer and neither can I. We ask the employee that delivers our food if we can move to another table and she says yes and goes to get the manager. The same manager that approached the woman and children earlier comes and asks if he can help and my husband told him he is feeling overwhelmed by the noise level at the table behind us and would like to move. The Manager politely obliged and helped us move to another table nearby.
Now it gets embarrassing. Again it is very apparent that the woman and children are acquaintances of the restaurant as all the employees begin gathering around her table again talking and pointing at us. One male employee walked by us and actually shook his head at me shamefully and another waitress that had went and sat down at the table with the woman and children actually walked by us and gave me and my husband a dirty look.
I was appalled. We were being treated as though we had done something wrong by asking to move to another table so that my husband didn't have a breakdown and we didn't disturb other diners. We spent the remainder of our meal being stared at and pointed at by the woman and random employees of Longhorn. Unbeknownst to all of them, my husband has PTSD and it can be debilitating. He was feeling good today, "it was a good day" and wanted to take his family out for a nice quiet dinner. Instead it turned out to be a horribly emotional experience. We all lost our appetite, we were extremely embarrassed and shamed by the staff.
As some people may say, You never know what kind of battle someone may be fighting, so be kind to everyone. And so goes for the woman with the table of children, we don't know her circumstance, however we did not deserve to be treated so badly by the employees and my husband didn't deserve to have his day out ruined.
Sincerely
The Velez Family

manager
My daughter and fiance' took me to Longhorn in Springfield, Illinois on Easter Sunday for dinner. I ordered a rib eye medium rare and it was cooked well done. I graciously sent it back and while I waited for the new one to be cooked my family had already finished eating. I received the 2nd steak, cut into it while the server waited to see if it was cooked correctly and it was. I took a bite and it was tough (the server had mentioned earlier that they were having problems with the new cook) so the server sent the manager over when she noticed I wasn't eating it. I didn't get his name but he was the rudest restaurant "manager " I have ever spoke with in the years I've been dining out. He asked about the steak and I showed him that there was a tough, stringy outer crust and he asked "who's food are you eating?" I replied "mine". I guess he asked because the baked potato had been eaten. Then he asked what do you want me to do? And he kept making me feel I had to justify why I didn't want it. We were all so shocked by his rudeness we didnt say anymore except when the server asked if I wanted a box to take it home I said no thank you. We were told that my meal had been taken off of the check which was much appreciated but not sure it came from the server because she felt bad about how he conducted himself. I write this because I want you to know about the person that represented your restaurant that night was not in the least helpful, but very condescending. My family used to eat there almost every weekend until my husband passed away and I am very disappointed in the actions of the manager and the quality of the steak. I thought you might want to be informed for the reason why there is a family in town that will not be going back. Thank you for taking the time to read this. Edie LeMasters

On Saturday April 27th, 2019. I took my mom and auntie to Longhorns in Tampa, FL on Fowler Ave. My mom ordered the outlaw ribeye and her steak looked as if some part was cut off/ missing. When advised 1 of the waiters, she just replied I highly doubt it and walked away. We told the next waitress and she tried to explain that it sometimes shrink up. I advised her that we come here all the time and this has never happened. She advised she'll have the manager come over. He came over and was unprofessional and rude. His approach was oh Naomi advised me to come over(as if he wasn't aware of the issue) He proceeded to tell us that the steak shrinks as if we don't know what steaks look like. It was at least a pie piece missing. He then had the audacity to put his finger on the brim of my mother's plate. That was not only unacceptable, but was also unsanitary and very unprofessional. This was the worst experience I've seen from a manager. And then he stated " I didn't touch the steak" I asked him to just bring her another steak. He said" all you have to do is ask" ... I'm a supervisor for JP Morgan Chase Bank and if I was to treat a customer in this manner, I can only imagine my feedback from my superior. I believe the expectations need to reset for the manager and waitress when it comes to rectifying an issue with an unhappy customer. We're already aware of the problem, someone should have came with a solution. I spent over $100 and was very dissatisfied with the behavior and service received. I asked for more butter and sour cream for my baked potato. It didn't come and I had to remind the waitress about it, now the potato cold. This was just a horrible experience. I hope that there's some coaching provided to make sure they create a better customer experience.
Thanks,
Angela Davis

On April 28, 2019 my two sons and grandchildren took me out for my birthday dinner.I ordered an 8 oz.Filet Mignon medium but I received a well done FM.I informed my waitress and she was very nice and said she would get me another one. When everyone was almost finished eating I got another steak which was medium and I ate it .
When the waitress brought our bill I asked her what she was going to do about the steak. She told us she thought they had taken it off and would take care of it.The manager came over a few minutes later and asked us if our meal was delicious .I told her my steak was well done and by the time they brought me a new one everyone else was done. She looked at me and said what do you want me to do and I told her since it was their mistake they should adjust our bill.I was told this was not your policy but if I was going to be unhappy they would take it off.
I was very unhappy and would like to know if this is the way you treat your customers.(I would have been happy with a free dessert and an apology.}
10z filet
