I visited the Longhorn Steakhouse last night (12/16/2023) (around 6:30 PM) in Lees Summit, MO. I sat at the bar so that I did not have to wait for a table. I ordered a Diet Coke to drink, after sitting there for nearly 10 minutes waiting for service. I ordered the BBQ chicken and shrimp with mashed potatoes and mac and cheese. After eating a little bit of my meal I needed a refill on my drink (Diet Coke). The waiter walked by me several times, I tried to get his attention but he never stopped to see if I needed anything. I waited and waited to the point that my meal was cold and was no longer worth eating. I was asked if I wanted a to go box, still not asked about a drink refill. 10 minutes later I get a to go box and was asked if I wanted a to go drink? I informed the male bar tender/waiter that I needed a drink 20 minutes ago, now its too late. The waiter apologized and walked away. It was very evident that I was not happy. The waiter did nothing to try and resolve the situation nor did he get a manager to come talk to me. He was too bust talking to another couple there who apparently previously had tipped him $100. My bill was $32.48. I was charged over $3.00 for a drink that I never got a refill on, even thought I needed one and had been waiting a long time for. My food ended up being cold and I had to take over half up it home to just give to my dogs, because chicken does not heat up well without either becoming dry or becoming like rubber. I cannot express how upset it makes me to spend over $30 on a meal to just give to my dogs. I would have asked for a manager while I was at Longhorn, but the truth is I couldn't find anyone to help me, I was pretty pissed off and I had just gotten off work and was tired and wanted to go home, and still had an hour drive to go. If this is how Longhorn is going to be, I will never go back again, even though I have always been happy with my experiences at Longhorn and have often bragged about Longhorn, but this experience was so horrendous that as of right now, I will never be back! I would have been better off going through a drive through of McDonalds, I would have at least gotten more to drink. Also, it's not my main complaint, but the shrimp that I got, was the worst shrimp I have ever had! It was so bad, I left it on the plate at Longhorn.
Desired outcome: I am not sure, I am so upset about this experience. I am not one to try and rip anyone off or ask for handouts, but I know if I were a manager, I would refund my money and offer a gift card
