ice
I have been getting free ice at Marco for a while now. This morning I got a cup of ice for free. This evening I went in to get my ice and the new lady charged me $.55. I always bring my own 16 oz. cup. She took my $.55 and put it on top of the register. I just wanted to know did she just charge me because she can or is there no longer free ice with my own cup?
towed vehicle
My husband has been parking his vehicle at Ashland Mapco, in Ashland Alabama for over 1 year. His vehicle was left there yesterday 05-08-2017 and nothing was done to his vehicle. Well today 05-09-2017 a new policy was supposedly put into place, my husbands truck was towed from Ashland Mapco. His truck wasn't even there 2 hours, they had it towed at 6:30 this morning. I called my old manager as I used to work for Mapco in Lineville and she hasn't even heard of this "new policy" the clerk in Ashland spoke of.. I find this highly wrong and my husband can't even get his truck back today, he got permission over 6 months ago to leave his vehicle there while he went to work at Honda in Lincoln. I feel as though they went about this the wrong way, they could have easily called and used the tag number to find the owner and called me his wife to come pick up the truck. If someone will please contact me about this "new policy" that would be greatly appreciated.. you can either call [protected] or [protected]..
customer service
I come to the Mapco in Talladega every morning. Most of the time there is no sugar for the coffee! Customers have to stand there and open sugar packets one by one which causes most people to be late for work. The lines get extra long because your employees are slow. Furthermore, sometimes there is no coffee and that is the main reason I go to the store. Please tell your manager of the store in Talladega, Al to order enough coffee, sugar, lids, etc...So that things will run smoothly each day and to keep each and every customer happy. People don't want to go to work angry because of someone's lack of commitment to their job!
Sincerely,
Unsatisfied customer
I love the coffee but hate the customer service. Plus the first shift employees are rude. Please get employees that are nice.
service/store in general
This mapco is literally not even 30 seconds from my house but I would rather take my self up the road to the kagaroo simply because every single time i come the workers have the "I don't wanna be here" attitude. They always have the door locked and when u knock you have to knock a million times before they even began to slowly scoot across the store while putting out cigarettes yes I said CIGARETTES! This is the only gas station corporation owned that I know u can smoke in! And I frankly think is disturbing! I'm done with this gas station! This mapco will not see business from me again!
mapco mobile pay - erroneous charge (no help from paypal
I tried 3 times to get the mobile app to work on 4/19 at the Mapco on Battlefield Road and Dietz in Ringgold, Georgia. The app would never "turn on the pump" it was just like an app that cant connect to the internet. I tried at two different pumps. First, I tried twice on pump 4, setting limits of $40 and $45. The app would not work and I pumped NO gas at pump 4. Then I moved to pump 2 to try the app. I forgot to set a limit, so the default $100 amount was apparently used. The app would not work on pump 2 either. Finally, i went inside the store and prepaid exactly $30.00 on my debit card and pumped my gas on Pump 2. The $30.00 debit from my bank account showed up almost immediately as such transactions do. Two days later, 4/21, I got a notice from PayPal that I had "authorized" $40, $45 and $100 - the EXACT amounts I tried to authorize on 4/19. THEN i got a notice that $30.01 has actually been pumped on PUMP 4. The $30.01 "completed" transaction was associated with the $45 authorization. Now I have a $30.00 debit from my bank account for the actual gas I prepaid, AND a $30.01 debit for someone's gas on pump 4. I didn't get $60.01 worth of gas. I've sent long emails to paypal explaining the problem including screenshots from my bank account and from my paypal account. I tried to contact Mapco as directed by PayPal via the link given to me: [protected]@mapcoexpress.com. Unfortunately, the email I spent more than an hour writing was returned because apparently I'm not on an approved list to send email to [protected]@mapcoexpress.com. I'm sure glad that was the link that was provided. Its been frustrating as hell. The $30.01 taken from me isn't going tot affect my life or finances - but the fact that it could happen AND that it hasn't been fixed quickly is aggravating and scary. This is the exact reason why so many people are scared of the new technological advances. Its particularly bad because I loved the Mobile Pay App! Darren Gibson

Within 48 hours of posting my complaint, I got an email saying my $30.01 was being refunded. The deposit has been made. Thanks
management
Wilma Rudaolf rd clarksville tn has the worst manager in history. Monday manager and 3 employees sitting on their ### while no coffee, the drink machine is down, floors dirty, one girl behind the register with a line.
Tuesday manager sitting at table with two employees one girl working 2 coffee pots empty, only soft drink available root beer.
This is every time the manager works. He is exceptionally lazy and could careless about customers. Worst store since the fastest girl you had quit. Get someone who can do the job or you are going to lose customers twice a day everyday.
customer service
The Bynum, AL Mapco is conveniently close to my home which is the one and only reason I go. I honestly would rather go out of my way to the Chevron just to avoid the nasty attitudes and mean faces of the employees every time I go to Mapco. Never a smile. Never a "thank you" or "have a nice day". But always that feeling that I'm annoying the cashier because I've decided to shop at that store. It's sad when the customer has to ask " How are you?" to avoid an awkward silence after no greeting other than an unfriendly face. And it's not even one employee. It's every person that works at this store, including the manager. They won't stop their gossiping conversation when you approach the counter, nevertheless acknowledge you, other than to ring your things up to get you out. It's sad because Mapco has nice stores and a cool rewards program. Too bad it's ruined by, simply put, very poor customer service.
mobile express invalid charge
I stopped at the mapco on hwy 431 in huntsville alabama on thursday 4/20 at approx 1:40pm on my way to take my husband to the dr and i attempted several times to get my mobile pay to turn the pump on without success. i finally had to give up because it was going to make us late for our appointment so i swiped my rewards card and my debit card and purchase $32.50 which is all my 2012 kia optima will hold. Now today i have just received a notice from paypal stating that $53.38 was charged at 8:03:57 pm on 4/21...I want to know how that happens when i live 45 mins away from that location. I used pump #5204 pump 7...i would appreciate your prompt attention to this matter because my family is on one income now due to my husbands illness and i cant afford to have issues like this happen
thank you

gas
I was at one of your Mapco's (in Tuscaloosa, Alabama on Rice Mine Road) and I was standing there pumping my gas and all of a sudden your machine over flowed on my car. All down the sides of my car, all on the concrete and all everywhere. All over my car. So I proceeded to go inside to tell the attendant and she shrugged her shoulders and said ok? I felt that she didn't care about my business so I haven't been back.
employee
I am sick and tired of this store. Everyone who works there is so rude hateful and really nasty looking. They are lazy, never any coffee no receipt paper at pump and store is so dirty. They need some manners take a shower and get some teeth. Please. Done with this place. Its a disgrace. The employees seem to not be able to hear and too dumb to comprehend.
employee
there's a Mapco in Albertville Alabama at the corner of Edmondson Street and Highway 431 for the last four years that I've been coming to this mapco including the map goes from this one all the way to Huntsville Alabama I've been having an issue and it's not just me it's everybody with this certain employee named Pamela, I don't personally know her and any kind of way but she's really rude she never asks for our Matco card or our phone number and whenever we ask to use it she gets huffy and puffy rolls her eyes mutters to herself and makes customers feel like that they shouldn't use their Mapco rewards when that's the whole point and getting in the card... I've seen her be mean to an elderly woman over Mapco rewards and plenty of people in line ahead of me and she's cussed and made a scene she's overcharged us and charge customers for things they shouldn't like when you buy a coffee there if she actually charges you for the individual creamers you if you want to take any with you instead of putting them in your coffee there why do I have to get charged 60 to $0.90 for creamer every single time depending on her mood I asked the Huntsville Mapco if that was right and they said no that no customers should be charged for creamer if they're purchasing a coffee and I want to leave with the creamer and not only that she won't put in our gas when we get a reward she won't take the cents off not even the $0.03 for being a Matco customer even if we put our card number if we put if we make a big scene about, she's never in a good mood she treats people like garbage she talks to people like they're beneath her she's never enjoying her job she's always talking with an attitude she's never sweet she always makes people feel uncomfortable I've noticed this not cool losing a lot of customers that are regulars because of her including us. It's not Mapco it's this woman Pamela she just doesn't have the type of attitude that I think should be representing Mapco I feel bad for complaining cuz I don't want Mapco to feel like it's their fault for hiring somebody and she's been there for so long I can't believe that she still even has a job from the way that she treats people. she never honors the rewards and I just don't understand why it's such a big deal for her to take the time to put somebody's phone number or swipe somebody's car door or put the discount on gas or use their reward points and I'm really tired of being overcharged for the things that I know aren't that much because I'm a regular customer at the Guntersville Mapco and the Huntsville Mapco in Hampton Cove Mapco because I commute to Huntsville everyday I just really appreciate somebody to investigate her or maybe find a way over a reason why she has such a bad attitude towards people why she treats people like they're nothing and why she doesn't like working because I would enjoy it at least a smile on her face once and not feel like she hates every customer that walks in there. I know something's not right going on with the swim and I know that she's charging people for things she shouldn't and I know she's not letting people use their rewards and that she's not telling the truth and treating customers the way that I think mapco would like them to be treated. I just can't stand by and see customers get treated like this anymore without feeling like I'm going to go off on this woman.
service provided by two employees
I arrived at mapco store # 3649, at 6:30am, as I do on a daily routine on my way to work. Upon entering the building, I observed a line of 8 people at cashier, in which I had never observed a line before i'm this store. Well, I went to foodcounter, and had to wait almost 15 mins for an employee to finally ask me what I needed. I stated I wanted a chicken tender placed on a biscuit and he refused to make me a fresh chicken biscuit due to he had one under warmer. I told employee that the biscuits in the wrapper makes the biscuit really soggy and I wanted a fresh biscuit. He still refused and I had to buy soggy biscuit. Well I approached the cashier to check out. Had to wait another 10 mins due to cashier not knowing how to work cash register, well finally he was ready to check me out. I asked for a pack of ciggerates, and cashier started telling me I didn't need to smoke and was very serious about it. Stating it was bad for me, I told him I was well aware of side affects. Upon finally being checked out I asked for both employees named and neither of them had on name badges, and would not tell me names unless I told them why I wanted names. I am a daily customer of mapco, i'm enrolled in reward program. I shop at mapco two or three times a day and this was by far the worst experience I have ever had. The employees were very rude. Plz take care of issue, so no one else has this experience.
gas pump(s)
Store Number 4064
4660 Boydton Plank Road
Petersburg, VA 23803
This is a continuous problem with this store when using a credit card and not receiving a receipt at the pump(s). Its inconvience to have to go into the store for a receipt. Most always its a lack of paper in the pumping station.
And broken pump handles is another problem. The new station have been in place for about 3 months or so.
very rude/lazy attendant
I walked in this location to get change for a $20 after pumping gas. The cashier was leaning against the window and I asked her if I could get change and she said "no we don't give change here you need to go somewhere else for that. " I then asked there's no way she could give me 2 $10 bills for a $20 and she said "did you not hear me". So I waited until a customer came in and bought something and I got change from him. The cashier with a smart ### attitude said "there's your change now you ain't gotta call and complain on me. " I thought what a ####. This was at 5 pm on march 1, 2015
presentation of the store.
I was at your store at 730 this morning and trash was over flowing outside. It was so full that there was trash laying on the ground all around the cans. I often stop before and after work. I have seen this at 6oclock pm also. If the cashiers behind the counter have time to be flirting and dancing behind the counter. This shouldn't look this way. This was at the store at 51 and church in Mississippi.
restrooms always out of service!!
I own a business next door to a MAPCO store @ 2055 McFarland Ave,
Rossville, GA [protected]
I have been here for over three years and everyday there is someone at my door wanting to use my restroom because of the store next door refuses to let anyone use theirs. They claim to be out of order but the employees that work long shifts never come over here to use the restrooms? Just today @ 3:00pm 02/16/2017 I come into my office to find someone exiting my restroom asking for a small garbage bag. I gave the gentleman a small bag and he put something in it out of my view so I inquired what he was doing. He said I had to put my underwear into the bag. And then exited my business. I went into the restroom and found that the gentleman had used the better part of a roll of paper towels as toilet paper and attempted to clean up the mess he made. I understand why the store doesn't want to let people use their restroom. It's because they don't want to clean up behind people.
Well suck it up butter cup. You are in the business of selling people stuff at jacked up prices but don't want to have to work a little to keep customers happy.
customer service/gas pricing practices
The LaFayette GA Mapco location tries to hike the gas prices by 20 cents a gallon a few times a year, hoping that the Hi-Tech station and the nearby Murphy across the street follows suit. When they don't, they gradually step the price back down. The next time I see this, I will take a picture and submit a price gouging complaint to the authorities in Atlanta.
Also, customer service at the LaFayette GA location absolutely STINKS! The clerks don't know how to put paper in the pumps for receipts to print out and are extremely rude to customers. The store is unkempt and the clerks just exist, nothing more. They don't know how to advise customers on how to file a complaint and don't give a rip about building customer loyalty through good customer service.
Based on other comments, it appears that other Mapco locations have the same types of issues. Is this reflective of the company culture at Mapco?
about pam shorty
I come in this store on frasyer blvd. And overton crossing everyday. And I thought manager's don't suppose to cus in front of the customers about personal life. And everyday I come in there that is what she do. And she yells at them and she yelled at me saying that is not a drain. That is not good management. We the customers need you all to look into this. Because she is the problem.
working at mapco
I worked at mapco on fort Campbell blvd (7514) . I worked there for approximately two months. They barely wanted to train me I was thrown on the register after a week. The coworkers were impatient as well as rude. I picked up another job because I couldn't afford to stay where I was with the hours I worked at mapco. Crystal informed me they could work with my schedule . I ended up doing a money order the wrong way and my draw came up 300 dollars short but I was only trained once on how to do it and my coworker told me what to do. The next day he threw me under the bus and everyone acted like I stole the 300 dollars. The next day I was supposed to come to work my name was scratched off so I figured I would contact crystal to see what was going on only to get a text stating she didn't know my schedule and she had to be to work at 4am. I figured she would text me the day to let me come into work she never responded. I came to work the next day only to learn I was labeled a no call no show. No one ever contacted me to let me know I was fired . I showed up thinking I had to work to learn someone took my shift. I texted crystal she never responded. Worse place to work at. They talk about any and everyone .
customer service
On 17January 2017 at 380 Warfield Blvd gas store I was treated very disrespectful. Between 11am and noon I went there to purchase scratch off tickets and drinks. Some of the tickets were empty and so I asked how do they get restocked. The clerk advised me that the manager must restock them. I asked if they could have the manager do that. And then the clerk working on the other register said that the manager wasn't in...I asked if they could call them and they rudely said that it would take at least 15-20 min for the manager to get there...I then asked them how they would restock if the manager was not around. The clerks said nothing but they did make a call...then the manager comes out from the back and asked me very rudely what I wanted...I realized then that the clerks had lied to me about the actual whereabouts of the manager...I told her one of the tickets that was empty is what I wanted and she restocked them and I purchased the amount of them that I wanted...but being treated rudely just for the one kind of tickets I wanted I didn't purchase any more tickets and forgot to get the drinks I wanted as well...I left the store ...I am disabled and have trouble walking and driving at times...on my good days I go out and purchase scratch offs and anything else I might need at a MAPCO store... since I really wanted the drinks I asked my wife to go in and get them...and in ending I frequent MAPCO establishments often but since I have been treated so rudely and the laziness of the clerks I am considering not ever going to another store again...and I am considering returning my MAPCO rewards card...

I was literally threatened by the lazy Mapco employee at Highway 58 Mapco in Chattanooga. When I pulled in there was an old truck driving around the lot that parked. When I got out, I could see that there was no one behind the counter. The guy in the truck was on his cell phone and when I started walking to the store he looked annoyed. I grabbed my stuff and proceeded to the checkout where the employee was chatting away on the phone. He rang in my products and I asked him for 2 packs of cigarettes. The entire time he was chatting away on the phone. I took out my Mapco card to scan it and he said something which I assume was to whoever he was having a personal conversation with. I ran it through and he said, "I Told you to hold on", and to be patient. I told him that if I did not hear what he said because he was on the phone at which he put his phone down and stared me down telling me that tonight was not the night which I took as a threat. WTF! Lazy, the guy leaving the store unattended, talking on the phone, rude to customers. He should be unemployed. I'm sure there are other people out there who would like that job.
I am sick and tired of terrible customer service at your store in Albertville Alabama. The employees are so rude and do not listen. They seem very igornant and very lazy. Their appearance is dreadful. They look nasty and seem to not care about themselves or others. They sit on their bottom while there is never receipt paper at pump no coffee made and store is filthy. I am done. Too many times have I experienced nothing but really bad service and do not care workers. This place is a disgrace.
