My self Saleem, abusiness man at Kottakal.I woluld like to raise a serious issue regarding service center at calicut Indus.
Two week back I have taken my car ( KL-55 B 33- Swift) to the service centre for total service for gear and clucth, and the billed amount of Rs.17600. But end of the day total damage to car Cluth plate burned up. Before Maruti service centre where good enough for customewr satisfaction...now am scared I have talked to the service manger also but no Use .Request you to kindly consider this matter seriously, I have taken one more Car Ritz days month back, am now worried about that service also...Pls.condider the matter seriouly

ac fan blower smell
I have purchased Maruti Swift VDI and its now 6 months old. Now I am getting very smell in fan blower for one or two minutes when I start the vehicle. During my second service, i have told the same to Maruti technician, for which he has advised since the vehicle is new there will be plastic smell and asked me to run the AC without Blower keeping on.
I am not happy with the feedback what he has given, since the smell was not there for first 5 months and I have checked in other swift car also.
Can someone tell me the reason for the bad smell.

first servicing experience

I bought ritz on 9th oct 2009, from wonder cars, chinchwad. delivery experience was good except some initial hiccups (which I don’t want to mention here as other big problem follow & need to be dealt seriously).
I received the call from wonder cars service center for the first servicing & I agreed to drop the car on wednesday, 11th november. as decided the pickup boy came for taking the car for servicing. (here I would like to mention one point which is slightly off track but still I can’t resist. the point is, I was not at all feeling comfortable regarding dropping the vehicle for servicing as it involved mechanical work in my absence.) anyhow, I let the delivery boy to take vehicle. (delivery boy was well mannered & polite all the way.) as per delivery boy, I was suppose to receive the call from service advisor (referred as sa hereafter) regarding the status of my car after he checks the vehicle; which I did not receive. then as a matter of caution I called up the wonder cars service station & enquired about the same & response given to me was, they will make sure that I will be receiving a call shortly from sa. couple of minutes later, I received the call. as per the sa, car was in absolutely fine condition & will be ready for delivery by 12 noon. (this was the first suspicious instance because as per the wonder car telephone representative, car will be ready for delivery only by evening & sa was contradicting this.)
Thankfully I had not opted the home delivery of car post servicing & hence went to pick up the car personally at 7:00 pm.
Actual story begins now.
The sa brought the car in front of service station & judiciously offered me test drive before delivery. I sat in the car & asked whether he has taken test drive. as per him, he had done complete checks post servicing & was satisfied. then I started the ignition & immediately noticed that the oil indicator is not turned off though the engine is on. I refused to take the car for test drive & asked the sa to take the car to bay.
By this time, another expert has joined him to the bay & started the inspection. I guess this was some senior service advisor (referred as ssa hereafter). they both did the inspection & testing till 8:30 pm.in the mean time, they had called the manager, front service desk & made him aware of the problem. at 8:30 / 8:45 pm, I was notified by manager & ssa that, problem seems to be serious & needs further investigations which can only happen next day as the test center was closed by that time. I agreed to it as I was reassured by the manager that he will personally look into the issue & update me the latest status as & when necessary. so they arranged for my drop back home.
I had decided by then that I need to be personally present following day to witness the progress. after all I had paid 4.75 lacs from my pocket. : (
Next day, thursday 12th ; I arrived at the service station around 10:00 am. service station was waking up by then. at around 10:30, ssa accompanied me to the bay & while walking, he updated me that he was investigating the issue late till 11:00 pm the earlier night. (though I don’t doubt the sincerity of ssa, I was wondering why he had to wait till 11 pm when we had decided that nothing can be done as the testing center is closed.)
We arrived at the bay & work began. I was offered a cup of tea & was asked to wait in the customer lounge. I accepted the tea cup & refused to go to customer lounge as I did not want to miss the action & wanted to be with my car. ssa did all the investigations & was accompanied by the manager by 1:00 pm. both came over to me & updated me with about status. as per them, they had done with inspection & replacement testing of minor switches which was not solving the issue & the oil indicator was still glowing post engine start. they had concluded that oil pump is not generating enough pressure & not pumping the oil. I was taken aback by this conclusion as that meant I was driving the car without engine oil for almost 1000 km. what that meant was engine might seize any time & that can be a life threatening situation. so they both decided on changing the oil pump of the car which had not even crossed 1000 km on odometer. now the question was availability of oil pump in pune region of maharashtra. considering the density of cars in pune, to my surprise, there was no oil pump in region. another point to be noted here is ritz is not a latest launch by now. I guess it’s more than 6 months since ritz launch. with no options, I was persuaded to leave the car @ bay area & wait until the availability of oil pump. manager again assured me of looking into the matter personally & keep me posted with the latest updates.
Next day, friday 13th out of concern & anxiety, my father got in touch with the sales manager, wonder cars, with whom he shared good relation & asked him to enquire. diligently, he got latest information to my father that we are yet to receive the oil pump & once received, we will get the highest precedence & will get our car delivered on priority.
Point to be noted here is, I did not receive any call back & I called the manager front service desk on saturday 14th at 1:30 pm& enquired. as per him they had received the oil pump but we were lacking the expertise to fit it. also, he quoted that they are referring the service manual for each steps while replacing the oil pump. the reasons cited was, ritz being the latest addition to maruti family & they are lacking with the know how’s. I did not understand this ridiculous excuse that maruti did not provide the complete expertise & training to the staff before / after launching the car. I agreed to it for not having any other choices & kept the phone down.
Sunday 15th ; & again I was expecting a call back & to my frustration, nobody bothered. I decided to give a surprise visit & check out the latest happenings personally. I arrived at service station at 1:15 pm & took a walk a round of complete service station area & found my car missing. by then, my heart had already started beating faster. I called up the manager, front service desk, to know about the status & purposefully did not reveal to him that I was at service station. his reply was, he is on holiday & will get back to me with latest status asap. till date, I have not received call back from him. then I called the sa to know about the status & by god’s grace he responded. he informed me that, car was ready on saturday evening itself & has been parked in parking yard. only long test drive was remaining. and the so called manager, front service desk, who was going to personally take a look at the situation, was completely unaware of car being ready on saturday evening itself. (saturday was working day for our manager & he was in the office.)
Sa & I went together to bring the car back from parking yard. I was happy that the car is now ok & the oil indicator is no more glowing & had gone into mental safe zone. incidentally, my brother in law was checking the car from all the sides & noticed the scratches on the doors. we brought that to the notice of sa & confirmed that those scratches were not there when the car was brought for servicing. he went in & got the second highest authority present as; manager, front service desk, was on leave. he checked the scratches & took the car to bay area & asked the waxing guy to put some wax on scratches & polish it. he did it for our satisfaction & got rid of scratches partially. but to my bad, scratches can be still seen…
After that, we were taken to the billing desk. they handed over the bill to us & asked us to pay rs 300. when asked about the details we were told that, those are towards engine oil top up. but as I knew, no oil top up is needed at first servicing for k12 engines, I asked for further details. I was told that, some oil was spill during testing at bay area & we need to bear the cost. we argued that, in case of oil pump not being faulty whether we would have asked to pay anything like that & answer came as no. upon our argument, seniors at service station agreed to check if this amount can be waived off & let us get out of there.
Till date, I have not received any call back either from either wonder cars or maruti office.
To conclude, I want to list down some key points:
1. why all ritz spare parts are not available with service stations?
2. why maruti is not taking care of imparting appropriate knowledge to service station guys before / after launching the car?
3. as the car has run without oil for almost 1000 km, who takes the responsibility of the car for next 5 years?

I purchased my RITZ car on 25/03/2010 from Abharan Motors, Udupi. The car was working fine in the beginning but soon after the rainy season and winter, I started facing problems.
1) My cars wind screen and side windows gets moisturizing and causing poor visibility. Keeping the a/c on, towards the wind screen to demist the moisture couldn’t help to improve the visibility and the problem persists even after the rainy season.
2) The sunlight reflects the dashboard hampering the visibility on the windshield.
3) The air conditioning cooling being excess in the front seat leg area - freezes the foot causing discomfort while driving.
I took the vehicle to Abharan Motors to get the above problems rectified, but they have failed to resolve the same. Even after continuous follow up, Maruti is not ready to give any feed back nor even took any initiative to solve these problems.
Now, being dissatisfied and feeling miserable with very poor customer service I have moved to consumer court, to get the justice done to my grievances.
By this means, I would bring to the public notice that Maruti is emphasizing on Productions & Sales rather than Performance & Services.

I have been purchased a Maruti Ritz Ldi car from Allianz Motors, Safdarjug Enclave Delhi in this month only. At the time of deal dealer promise us to give some car accessories and one year extended warranty on the car but while delivery day came they have asked to get the eccessories and warranty paper after two days. i bought ritz LXi one month before. recently i approach MASS(authorize service center) for first service. they changed engine oil and filter while car runs only 1000 km. however in K series engine oil needs to change after 10, 000 km. it was also mentioned in service book.i am not sure whether they use proper grade oil or not. because my car is riding very heavy after first service. It is really horrible experience for me to find that MASS guys with lack of knowledge. What should i do ? can anybody advice me?

I also purchased a ritz no uk06n3999 car from aksnsha automobiles rudrapur last year.the braking system is very bad from the first day.the company has shown a very bad respnse as the are saying all car's are having same problem wich was very surprising so i hape that some action can be taken against it.

I totally Agree to the concluding key points, as I am also facing the similar problems with the workshops so called as "MASS" :
1) Maruti is not taking care of imparting appropriate knowledge to service station guys before / after launching the car.
2) No proper grade oil available for the Ritz in Maruti Authorized Service Stations. I asked them what oil they are using and the answer that I got is that for all the Maruti cars the Engine oil grade is same. Whereas the company's manual says that only designated grade oil should be used for the Diesel and Petrol version variants. But in my Ritz diesel model, not a designated grade oil was used. Can Maruti take up these things with the service stations owners very very seriously now.
3) Who will take the responsibility if an ignorant person trusts and sends his car to the Maruti Authorized Service Stations with an impression that proper grade oil and other spares are being used.
Conclusion:
I urge people who are the owners of Maruti Ritz diesel/petrol variant models, to kindly look at the the service manuals and ask the MASS to show if they are using the proper grade oil what their car requires. If we as customers fail to take up this responsibility then tomorrow we are at the loss. The crank shaft of the car will get weak and may even lead to missing problems and oil lights in the car.

I amitabh ranjan mishra r/o 16/54, new sohbatiya bagh, allahabad purchased a alto-lxi car having chasis no.943087, engine no.1171617 on 31.05.2007 and registered as up70aq9701 from your authorized dealer in allahabad “greenland motors”.
after that my car always regularly goes to greenland motors, allahabad workshop for servicing and maintenance. after purchasing the car, it appears that there is some problem of gear shifting in my car. I always made complaint regarding it but none of the employee/person of greenland motors took attention on it.
On 16.11.2009, I faced a big problem when I came to know that gear shifting system of the car was completely failed. then after anyhow I went to the workshop of greenland motors, allahabad for repairing for the same. after checking the car they told me that the gear selector rod was broken and needs to change as well as they gave me estimate of rs.550, which was very shocking to me because the car was purchased in year 2007. when I ask them about the warranty of the car, they did not gave any satisfactory answer and after changing the gear selector rod (shaft comp, gear shf part no.-25510m70b02) they gave me a payment receipt (cash memo no. bc09005808 dtd.17.11.2009) of rs.426, in which they deducted rs.112.50 on discount coupon of smart card issued by greenland motors, allahabad and return back my car after receiving the said amount. when I made complaint to the officer’s of greenland motors regarding it, they never took attention on it and always ignored me.
So, it is requested to you that take my this complaint in your preference list and take appropriate and corrective action according to your level. it is also requested to you that refund my money which was wrongly taken from me for changing the gear selector rod and make sure that i’ll never face these kind of problem in future. kindly do the needful from your end.

worst experience
My Car, Maruti Suzuki Swift LDi with No-DL5CS2929 colour-"White" Model-"2008", is One year old .I have send it 2-3 times for claim to the dealer. Last claim was on 28 August 2009.We are not at all satisfied with the services provided by you people you are not using good quality of paint even dont know how to paint.It was not uniformly painted, the shade of paint was not matching, and after 1 month its white colour becomes dull.Following parts of the car was repaired-Bonet, Front Bumper, Left Side complete, Left door.Diggi and back bumper of the car. I am also having honda civic but I am very happy with the service provided by them they use quality product and give a very good response.But in your center even after call the problem remain same .Now again I have Send my car to the dealer.Kindly see to it .

My car met with an accident on date 29Sept2009 and Given for repair to T R SAWHNEY MOTORS PVT LTD-B-5, Industrial Area Phase -1, Badli, Rohini (Sec-18 Opp). And One Job card is Issued without any Number on Dated - 30/09/2009 with an agreement of delivery with in 15days after survey.
ANy of the T R SAWHNEY MOTORS PVT LTD- Employee or Customer Care executive responds to my severals phone calls and visits at their sites. Today I come to know that Keys of my car being misplaced and some work due to this still pending. Neither they provided any alternate vehicle to me even after demanding, from last one month.
Mr. Gautam and Pandey looking after the work in accidental deptt. They demanded motor car inspection report from me Even I told them that my car is insured by T R SAWHNEY MOTORS PVT LTD Only. and they also have original copy of insurance.

it has been informed you vide my letter dated 07-09-2009(copy enclosed) that i have been constantly facing difficulties due to some manufacturing defect in aforesaid vehicle, purchased on 28-10-2008 from one up motors india pvt ltd., 52-c, sringar nagar, kanpur road, alambagh, lucknow (selling dealer code-1306) with effect from 26-11-2008 . the engine number of car sold to me is d13a1139932 and chassis number is ma3fkeb1s00369410 and colour is zy4-azura grey. on requesting through aforesaid letter dated 07-09-2009, you instructed the “one up motors india pvt. ltd., 52-c, sringar nagar, kanpur road, alambagh, lucknow (selling dealer code-1306) to check out for the fault and its removal. thus according to the instructions, the dealer took the vehicle on 24-09-1009 and assured me that fault will be removed completely. after completing their services, one up motors india pvt. ltd., 52-c, sringar nagar, kanpur road, alambagh, lucknow (selling dealer code-1306) had returned my vehicle on 27-09-2009 (copy enclosed). they assured me that swift vdi (m) diesel car has been thoroughly examined for the fault and the fault is completely removed, so there is no chance of facing any problem in the future again.
Despite of the service given by “one up motors india pvt. ltd., 52-c, sringar nagar, kanpur road, alambagh, lucknow, on 29-10-2009.the swift vdi (m) diesel car’s engine got off suddenly, thus the car got stop at ring road highway, khurramnagar, lucknow and i was not able to reach my destination. swift vdi (m) diesel car was then carried to my residence by through toeing. that day this problem was informed to one up motors pvt. ltd.52-c, sringar nagar, kanpur road, alambagh through telephone and the call was received by miss. neha and miss. vandana but car was not able to send to the service centre as because of mine busy schedule. next day after trying many times, the car started finally and was under use along with starting problem. but on 02-11-2009 morning, while going to the hospital car was again stopped short near mithaiwala crossing, gomtinagar, lucknow and then mr.deepak chahal (service engineer, maruti suzuki india ltd.) and mr.rishikanth mishra ( gen. manager, one up motors india pvt. ltd., 52-c, sringar nagar, kanpur road, alambagh, lucknow) was informed and car was taken to the service centre.
Through this the only conclusion can be made that the previous service was not effective enough either in finding out the fault or its complete removal. the concern dealer is not in a state to remove the defect. they are just consuming time so that the warranty period may get expired.
This is my humble request to you, to kindly consider the inconvenience faced by me and direct “one up motors india pvt. ltd., 52-c, sringar nagar, kanpur road, alambagh, lucknow (selling dealer code 1306)” to replace my swift vdi (m) diesel car number up32cp9160 with the new one or else i shall take legal action against the maruti suzuki india ltd. including prosecution under criminal laws etc.

Brought it 1 Year back Swift Lxi 2008 driven 19000Km as of now. Here are my few observations.
Pros:
1. A/c works fine. (not extraordinary compared to Accent or Indica)
2. Car has stable ride @ high speeds
3. Acceleration is good but it does drop a little bit with A/c switch ON.
4. Mileage of 16+ in City and 19+ on Highways (with all points taken care which include Acceleration, Air Pressure, .. etc)
5. Quality of Plastics used in car is good, Interior looks great.
6. Quality of service provided by dealers in Faridabad specially Vipul.
7. Seating comfort is good.
Conserns:
1. Visibility through the Rear View Mirror is not good. Specially when we have 2-3 people sitting at the back. Technically, it doesn't gives parallel View to Road.
2. The Orignal fitted Headlamp Lights are not so good, as compared to Hyundai Santro (known as sunshine car). Got 130 Watt Philips Headlaps fitted with Relay to match the Santro.
3. Rear leg room is just ok and rear sits r bit cramped if you have 3 ppl weighting 80kg or more at rear.
4. Suspensions are really poor. It seems to be the Hardest of the other cars I own. Even Wagon R or Alto has smoother suspensions.
5. Ratteling Noise is the worst. There's something inside the doors which is just irritating. It is also just because of hard suspensions.
6. As per Maruti the Tyre pressure should be 33 pounds. But due to the Bumpy roads and Hard suspensions I have to compromise it to 30 pounds to get lesser jerks in the cabinet also lesser ratteling *irritating* noise. Which result in lesser Average.
7. The Quality of the Paint is very poor. Seems to be same as White old Maruti cars, which turs yellow after 4-5 years. Seems like cheapest paint in market.
** So Please don't buy it as everyone is buying it. Test Drive it and compare with other Brands also before going for the same.

I am not happy with the way Sai Service treats its customers, esp. if the vehicle is under warranty.

I had given my swift for repairs on the 19/10/2009, which was to be serviced within 4days. After 4 days the staff at ARYA CARS kept telling me about staff problems at there end & they would deliver the car at 12noon . After waiting till 2pm they would tell me it was being delivered at 6 in the evening. They never had the coutesy to even call back & inform that it was not being delivered. For the past 5 days I am being subjected to this bizare behavior. Today when they finally delivered the car at 2.30 I was out, { after waiting for more than 2hrs for them} the driver refused to leave the car. THe boss I dont know who, said he needed cash payment right now. I requested him that I can make payment at 5.30pm & to please leave the car since I had to go to the airport. He said it is against the companies policies to deliver without payment & took back the car. After harassing me for 5 days, with arrogant rude replies, not ready to give me the name of the person whom I am speaking to, waisting my time waiting for the swift they made me feel so cheap. If this is the companies policy its a sik company with no care for customers. He could have kept the papers of my car against paymeent. If Maruti Suzuki considers itself a standar company having any reputation they better appoint proper service agents & take an advance before touxching the vehicle.
The behavior of ARYA CArs has caused me a lot of stress & inconvenience shuttling around in a city with no proper public conveyance. I had a filthy experience with people so cheap for a petty amount of RS 8418/-

exatly the same thing was happend with me, witht the same dealer/service station.
That in the month of March 2009 some of the executives of Arya Card one of them by name Mr. Somalwar, cheaked my vehicle parked on road side parking of Civil Lines, under a scheme of free cheak-up and issued me some coupons to claim 10% discount on servicing, 10% discount on repairing & 5% discount on spares and requested me to visit their world class service center. Since ther were some miner accidental damages needed to be repair as well as the clutch pressure plate of the vehicle was to be repaired, so it was an affair of one week, when in the month of May i had some vacation/holiday plan, i contacted the said Mr. Somalwar and requested him to pick my vehicle for insurance covered acidental damage repair and the pressure plate repair, accordingly my vehicle Alto Lxi was picked up by the authorised driver of Arya Cars on 23/5/2009 and droped me to Nagpur Airport and Mr. Somalwar assured me that on my return by 30/5/2009 the all the work would done and vehicl would be delivered at my doorstep, after two three days one Mr. Singh from Arya Cars called me and asked some questions regarding the problems in the vehicle and assured me to deliver the vehicle within 4-5 days on complition on the work.
On 28/5/2009, i returned back to nagpur and next day called to the service station of Arya Cars and asked them to deliver my vehicle, in reply i received some avoiding and vague anwers from the staff of the Arya Cars, after repeated follow-up and numerous requests personal visits and phone calls, the vehicle was returned to me on 8/6/2009 at late evening hours on payment of Rs. 15000/- (after adjustments of various discounts as agreed and amount of insurance claim) .
As such approximately fifteen days were taken for reapairing of miner accidental damages and repairing of clutch pressure plate. however the clutch plate, which was replaced with new set of pressure plate was not properly fitted by the concerned mechanic. Since the vehicle was delivered, the above fault of pressure plate observed by me while driving the vehicle to home.
next day, i called up to the service station of Arya Cars and requested them to cheak the same. some of the executives came to my place and cheaked the same, since observed some fault in fitting, they asked me to brought the vehiche to their service station, where the vehich was cheaked by the concerned mechanics, who told me that the work has not done properly, the pressure plates needed to adjust properly by removing the same and refitt it. The concerned mechanic told me, that two days would be required for the same, because, for the same they had to open the engine again. He further told me that, the vehicle can be used 3-4 days in as it is condition it required urgently. since there was birth day of my wife on 12/6, i had some plan of outing and it was peak summer, the vehicle was desperately need to me, so i asked him to collect/pick the vehicle on saturday the 13/6/2009.
thereafter, inspite of repeated requests, the vhicle was never collected/pick by the executives of the Arya Cars and the said fault in the engine remained as it is, which was rectified by one mechanic at Sadar nmely Mr. Francis at his service center and paid additional expenses for the same.
thereafter i orally warned the senior executives and told them, that i would report the matter to consumer dispute cell, on that they replied very rustic manner and did not taken cognizance of my grevience. I reported the matter to Mr. Narula, service head Maruti, in reply of his feedback, but nothing is done till the moment.
but shockingly, i received a legal notice, three days back issued by one Advocate Harode, one on the relative of the Managing Director of the Arya cars, wherein an amount to the tune of Rs. 38000/- was demanded, further threatened with legal consiquenses.
if this kind of services are provided by the authorised service stations of Maruti, who will rely on Maruti.

Hi all,
I would like to inform you that I have bought a new alto car from competent automobiles (cp-delhi) having registration number dl2c ak 0285 on november 2008, from the day one I start feeling that there is some problem of viabrating with my new maruti alto but after some days the situation went worse as there is problem with viabrating. I have gone to competent mehrauli several times for servicing and from last nine months to inform them about this issue but they always give excuses. I am not able to get this thing easily as I bought a new car of maruti and not an old one, I am sure that there is fraud done with me so I need your help to investigate this issue as they are not even bother about my level of frustration.
Please ask them to clear the situation.

I M Rajat Das Bought Maruti Alto LXi june 10, on 03 Sep 10 face AC problem as it is not working, At 0945 hrs, i was told that the car would be given to servicce centre for repair and despatched to me at my office.I gave my Key and Visiting card to one Executive.Around 1345 hrs when givven call first my call was dropped twice and latter it was picked up by Ms Mousumi Chatterjee and says she dnt no any thing why the car is lying their.But some how she says she would look to it.
I was harassed the whole day for what fault.Pease expain me and want action to be taken against the de faulter.

I bought a New Alto Lxi car from your dealer on 16th may 2010, in the name of Mrs. Mamtha Guptha the payment was made well in advance.
At the time when the dealers representative Mr. Srinivas gave me the quotation i was told that there will be some extra discount of Rs. 2000 given to me and he deducted the same from the amount of the quotation.
I made the payment accordingly.
one day before the date of delivery i was called by same fellow that the you are not entitled for extra discount so u need to pay that 2000 in cash at the time of delivery.
Next day i took the delivery, i paid the amount to Mr. Srinivas, when asked for receipt he said as it is sunday i will give you receipt the next day.
sir, after that day this fellow is not lifting my phone calls and when contacted in your dealers office they say he has left the job and even i have not received invoice of my car .
This is not matter of Rs. 2000 but the thing is that how can a reputated company dealer of yours can recruit people like him.
I really feel cheated and it would have been better if i would have opted for SPARK, HYUNDAI instead of MARUTI.
Hope fully u will look into the matter soon and HELP ME GETTING MY CARS INVOICE

I had given my car for service and repairs at Maruti's Authorised Service Station named "Patel Motors, 428/3/3, Niranjanpur, A.B.Road, Indore.
I am terribly disappointed with the service that was provided as it was not up to mark and I got lame excuses for the same.
I had given the car for servicing with a only complaint of poor pick-up, in petrol as my vehicle is having an option of Petrol/LPG.The pickup with LPG usage is very good and I'm satisfied with it, but when petrol is used the Pick-up is poor.
At the time of delivery keys were handed over to me as soon as I made the payment, without informing any changes done in the car. I took the car came to my office then I thought of checking the LPG mode which was not working, so I called up to the centre and went back to check. I was informed that as the petrol Pick-Up was getting affected we have removed the connection of LPG.Then a person took my car and informed that will be back in ten minutes, and i was waiting outside after some time i went inside the customer lounge and waited there and i could see my car through the glass unattended, then after waiting for more than 40 minutes I went to the GM-Mr.Natarajan to complaint for the same. He was nice enough to take me to the vehicle and we came to know that the car was completed long back (but not informed to the customer).As per my understanding any changes in the vehicle should be done only after customer's concern/information.
Secondly when I was about to leave for my office next day morning I found that the car stepny is missing I went to your service centre and came to know they have found it but was not aware of the owner of the same.
Last but not least I'm not satisfied with the services, as the steering is tilted which was ok when I had given the car for servicing, and the Pick Up not increased.
It is highly alarming to note how Maruti authorities are not aware of their services provided to their customers by their service centers.

I am consistantly Compalining about gas kit problem i am facing in my new Maruti Wagon r duo..
Gas leakege, Less avarage and NON filling of Complete Gas tank is my problem from last 1 1/2 years.

non delivery of vehicle even after advance payment
I had booked a swift dzire through automotive manufacturers pvt ltd, navi mumbai on 9/9/2009. a cheque of rs 50, 000 was also issued along with the booking and I was assured the best service and periodic updates on when I could expect the delivery of the vehicle. as a first time buyer of the vehicle, this was heartening to hear.
As the delivery date drew closer, I was told about a delay in delivery. when I asked for an explaination, there said that there was some transportation issue due to which all cars have been delayed. they said that my car was showing up for dispatch on 15/10/2009 post which the entire process would take 8- 10 days. on 15th october, after repeatedly calling the representative (mr chetan and mr kiran), I was informed that the cars have not been dispatched.
On wanting an explaination the sales persons dont have any valid explaination for the delay or do they have an idea of the tentative date by which I could expect the delivery.
All this has left a very sour taste in the mouth. a reputed company like maruti is accepting large sums of money from consumers, making pot loads of money as interest and not delivering vehicles.
Please do not book any maruti cars (especially at automotive manufacturers pvt ltd, navi mumbai) and waste your hard earned money waiting for your car. there are enough options in the market that you can consider.

regarding service centre
Dear Sir,
1. I had gone to the Maruti Service centre, pathankot vehicleades in the morning at 0930hrs for the regular servicing of my vehicle no HP 38A-3597 Model Maruti car 800 cc.There was no mechanical problem other than changing of the engine oil, oil filter and the regular service.Somehow i failed to understand that they handed over the car to me at 1600 hrs.
2. My serial no was 13 which was given to me, the time i entered Pathankot Vehicleades Pvt Ltd. i went to the waiting launge and waited for the promised delivery time till 1430hrs.By that time car serial no 33 was checking out which means already 32 vehicles have been done with the servicing except for my car.
3. i spoke to the workshop manager Mr. Puneet and informed about the matter but nothing could be resolved.After the verbal complaint to Mr Puneet, i was given the car with the servicing done at 1600hrs.
4. This is disloyalty towards the profession by the service centre and embarassment for the company that it fails to provide better service to the customer

Dear Sir,
I bought a Maruti Swift from Autopace Chandigarh through CSD on 06 Oct 2008; after booking it by paying Rs 15, 000/- as booking amount. My insurance was adjusted from the same amount and was informed by the salesman (Mr.Ankush) and the manager that the refund amount due will be sent to me in one-two months depending on when they get their payment from CSD.
Despite my repetitive queries they gave me lame excuses and I never got the refund. Last week i got a call from an executive that I'l get the refund included in the insurance policy, provided I renue it from them. Its been a year since I bought the car and the dealer is now trying to cash on the insurance renewal.
It is strongly requested that customers should not be taken for a ride like this, the dealer issued an ultimatum to reimburse my amount and measures taken to prevent such incidents.

Subject: Complaint against unfair and extortionist trade practice being committed to cheat the unsuspecting customers of Maruti Udyog Limited by Rana Motors (P) Ltd., in the name of effective services.
Sir(s),
I have an association for 15 years with Maruti Udyog limited and am writing this letter with great anguish to you on being cheated by your company and the above named Rana Motors. I am an owner of a Maruti Swift car bearing No. DL 9CR 2942, which I had purchased in the month of June, 2007 from M/s. Rana Motors (P) Ltd and since than I am getting it regularly serviced from said M/s. Rana Motors.
On 10.10.2009, I sent my car for regular paid service through my Driver at Rana Motors, and the service adviser at the work Shop advised and recommended my driver for use that Engine Oil (Synthetic) on the pretext that the synthetic oil is recommended by Maruti for its vehicles, and any ordinary Engine Oil shall be at the responsibility of the owner. He further represented / recommended that we are recommending every customer for use of the Synthetic engine oil as it is better for the Maruti Vehicles. Believing solely on the advice and recommendations of the Service Adviser, my driver accepted the same. The Service Driver did not even bother to inform the Owner (myself) for recommendations for the use of Synthetic engine oil.
It may be worthwhile to mention that in the past I was always recommended to use the regular Engine oil (which may be verified from the service records). When I saw the Service advice memo I was surprised to see how the synthetic oil is recommended instead of regular engine oil. I, confronted my driver for user of the Synthetic Engine oil, on which he told me that “it has been done solely on the recommendations of the service adviser, who had told me (my driver) that in case of use of regular engine oil, if the engine does not perform properly, then Rana Motors shall not be responsible and to avoid any complications I accepted the advice of the service adviser.”
On 11.10.2009 I personally went to take the delivery of my vehicle from the workshop of Rana Motors at Wazirpur Ind. Area. I contacted the service adviser and the service Manager and enquired from them as to why the Synthetic Engine Oil has been recommended instead of regular Engine Oil. Initially they both did not give any answer to my questions but on my repeated questioning they avoided any specific answer and said that they have recommended as per the specification / recommended by the Maruti Udyog Limited and if I have any grievance, the Complaint can be made to the Maruti Udyog Limited.
To avoid any unpleasant situation I made the payment of the service bill and got the deliver of my vehicle. Normally, I always estimated the service charges between Rs. 3000 to Rs.4000, but this service coasted me Rs.7159.00, and this steep escalation in the service cost is purely on account of the advice / recommendation of the synthetic Engine Oil by the employees.
I may ask from yourself if the Service book of our vehicle recommends for the use of regular Engine oil, than why were we forced to use the synthetic oil and, if the Synthetic engine oil is better for the Engine of Maruti Swift Car, than why in the past services, regular Oil (inferior quality oil according to you) was used and the same is recommended.
While choosing to purchase a Martui Swift Car, one of the main considerations for me was the low service / maintenance cost on account of use of the Regular engine oil. If I was aware that in future the service partners / service agents of the manufacturers of Maruti Udyog Limited will force us for higher maintenance cost / service cost, I would not have purchased a Swift Car and would have looked for other options. A person should be taken by surprise by subsequent conduct of your service partners.
M/s. Maruti Udyog Limited has created an impression in the eyes of the general public that the maintenance cost of their vehicles is very low, which I would say is very deceptive and wrong. If we go by the advice of the service advisers of Maruti the service cost of my car is much more than the luxury Cars like Honda Accord. A difference of Rs.3000/- in the cost of service only on account of use of engine oil is major consideration for a middle class person like me.
This may be a very small issue for a big company like Maruti Udyog Limited, but it is a very serious issue for the general public and people like us. This amount of Rs.3000/- may not be that important for me but as a responsible citizen of this country I felt it necessary to bring this illegal and unfair trade practice to your notice for remedial measures to save the image of a manufacturer of affordable cars.
I hope you shall ensure necessary steps to stop unfair trade practice by the service providers, under intimation to me, failing which I shall be at liberty to take appropriate steps at your cost and responsibility.

E 21 oct i made all my preprations made the draft in favour of them got the insurance from a company and when i was about to leave from bank they called me said your vehicle will be given on one condition if i get insurance done from them they harrased me, my emotions joined with the car as i was planning to buy the car in navratras. I am myself employee of state bank of india with whom mruti makes its most of business. This is how maruti respescts its business associates

clutch plate break down
Car was running fine since last two years with 15K kilometers . Get serviced from Maruti Pasco on 30th Sep. fro normal greecing/oiling and all but after 100 km clutch plates break down . get the service from lacal mechanic and came to this is the 7th car in four days after 15-20K kilometers (Wogon R ), having problem in Clutch plates. March 2007 Model.

I have booked my Swift Vxi red color at Dhru Motors, Surat, Gujarat. At the time of booking I was commited to get car after one month. I booked car on 29/08/09. And today it is 5/10/09 but still I haven't got the car.
And I am getting same car of same color from another dealer. But he is asking me some extra payment of 25, 000 more to get this car after one day only. So I am not getting in the same city some dealer have car and some dealer doesn't have car after one month also.
