non professional attitude and cheating
Today I booked a Maruti Van at Raviratna Motors, Bharuch. After geting my payment of Rs. 2, 38, 098 they refused to deliver me a vehicle of my choice. Manager Mr. Sunil Patel behaved very rudly and told me that I have to accept vehicle of their choice. I shocked after hearing this. I returned back without taking back my money. I could not understand how can one purchase a vehicle on dealers choice? I refered net and see the threads (http://www.google.co.in/search?hl=en&source=hp&q=cheating+raviratna+motors+bharuch&meta=&aq=f&oq= ) After seeing the posts against non professional attitude of Raviratna Motors, It seems that Maruti is together with Raviratna Motors to cheat people. Is there any solution? or we are in the hands of robers in white collars.

poor customer service
I have booked a maruti swift dzire zdi with abs since 2.5months through dealer oddesy motors, sambalpur, orissa. at the time of booking I was told that delivery would be within 4-6 days by mr pradhan, sales manager. (I have paid the money)
However, everytime I call oddesy motors they keep repeating that the company is not despatching the vehicles and therefore they are unable to give me delivery of the same. can somebody please advise if there is an on-line system (besides the toll free nos. which are of no help really) to check allotments/delivery status? how do I get a clear picture on the status of my vehicle. when ever I call they reply so rudely as I am a begger. his owner mr. jalan never picks up the phone for rply.
Thanx.

false promise as to force customer to book a vehicle, then delaying the delivery.
Sir,
I am v. isaac robert, residing in coimbatore. I wanted to buy maruti 800 duo. so, I approched jaikrishnaa auto sales, the dealer for maruti cars in coimbatore on 21-09-2009. when I enquired about 800duo, I was forced by the sales staff of the dealer to book for the car immediately otherwise I could not get my desired colour that is blue blaze. it was very much available then. what I was told then, "if I paid some amount and booked, my desired blue blaze 800 duo would be alloted for me - otherwise not". so, I happened to hand over my used 800 car to them in exchange. thereby, I paid 45000/=rupees atonce. mean time loan also sanctioned for the remaining amount. now, they say that I have to wait for another 20 days to get that particular colour. those available blue blaze cars were given to some others. giving false promise to make customer to book cars with their show room, not giving a chance to go to other dealers in the same city, is it not a cheating?. more over, myself being an advocate, I have to travel a lot every day and I have to spend much towards taxi in the absence of my car. besides that, what is the interest, for the amount I paid for these waiting peroid? if they had told earlier, I would have approached abt, or ambal the other dealers of maruti cars in coimbatore.
I seek immediate response from concerned authorities.
Yours
V. isaac robert.

delay in car delivery by maruti dealer
I booked Swift Dzire on 7th August 2009 with Sai Service at Goregaon, Mumbai by paying Rs. 50, 000 as booking amount. My precondition was quick delivery as I recently returned back from abroad and don't have any means of commutation. At the time of booking the sales executive committed to deliver the car by in 4 weeks. Now 7 weeks are over, still there is no sight of the car. On escalation to the manager he flatly refuses to accept that any such commitments were made. Usually business is based on verbal commitment and there is no proof using which I can approach the authorities. I feeling helpless in this situation have no clue whom to approach for justice.
I got to know from reliable sources that dealers are taking the booking amount and earning interest on this money and then selling the car in black market at a premium price. Since its a festive season the market is hot.
Is there any law or authorities in this country to check such business malpractices and protect the consumer rights. This is only country where people have to run behind the dealers with money to buy a car.

I have paid my down payment and also my loan amount has been passed by hdfc bank. My installments have been started deducting since 2 months... But no delivery of car... I have complained many times. Also spoke with the manager of spectra motors (borivali, mumbai)... All in vain.
irresponsible and careless service from sai service station, karingachira, kochi (maruti's authorised service centre)
I here by bring your kind attention regarding the irresponsibility and misbehavior that I felt in connection with my car service, from maruti's autherised service center, Kringachira, Kochi.
I gave my Maruti Zen car for the general service and underbody coating on Aug 7th to this service station. After service I took my vehicle on 8th and checked. I was really shocked because the service was not proper and the black paint was spilled to the running board of the car on both sides. Besides this, my central locking system of the car was not working properly. I complained to the service manager and he took the vehicle for another service, but the thing was more worse than the earlier. I gave complaint to the customer care of the sai service, Ernakulam. But till date; no action was taken from them. I never expect such an irresponsibility and carelessness from the Maruti's autherised service centre.
So please took this matter seriously and take necessary action and ensure that, don’t repeat to any customer, such an irresponsible behavior from the authorized service centre of your company

COMPLAINT NO. 1
I gave my car for general servicing in January last week of this year,at competent services new delhi we had requested to change the wipers and had a plan to move out of delhi for a couple of days. We got our car home delivered at ~8:30 pm on the eve of leaving for the destination. It apparently looked o.k. But when we reached carnal on NH1 we noticed a crack around the excel of the wiper although it was not completely broken, we never had any collision or some stone hurt on the wind shield as NH 1 being an ace national highway we do not evidence any stone! When I returned to Delhi after ~ 1000 kms journey i notified the problem to Competent authorities who refused to take any responsibilities while during handing over the car to the company there was no breakage of the wind shield.
COMPLAINT NO. 2
This is regarding insurance of the car which was getting expired on date 1st of apr. night and we gave the application and cheque to insurance guys of competent-new deli on 28th of mar. however they told us on 2nd of apr. that they had some miscalculation and required the new payment thus we had our policy lapsed and a new policy had to be made in which now they noted the crack in the wind shield which may cause problems to us in future to claims of replacing the windshield which is already liable to breakage!
Anyways we had requested the insurance coverage of attending passengers but the agent forgot,i gave him chq for endorsement on 03/04/07 and after repeated reminders ,they are informing me on 15/04/07 that whole capacity of the car i.e 5 persons insurance is mandatory even though i have family of 3.nobody seems to be well informed thus as of date 14/04/07 we still do not have an insurance.
thanks to maruti for their services
Thanks to Maruti Suzuki for their Services Although not many people believe in reincarnation but if any then i must say that i would have been really generous and kind in giving donations and grants in my last birth, which paid me in this birth by being Maruti's customer. I think I proudly boast being one of them, as only a Maruti customer can pay twice for the service which was not even accomplished once with satisfaction. The story of frustration and irresponsibility begins when the car which I own, Maruti Swift Vxi (DL4C AA 8541) starts suffering from clutch problem (I will be using animate words for my car as it is my true companion on Delhi roads) I visited DD Motors Wazirpur for the Clutch work, they did something (some things because they only know what they did as result was nothing) and handed over my car without any attendant, and I paid them... In exchange. So Many thanks to DD Motors Wazirpur.. But as I know my car, it was not cured properly and I had no fun driving it the way I used to. I informed DD Motors Wazirpur about the fact and told them that I am not satisfied with their work which they have done and I am not feeling that my car is having a new clutch set, so then after all this they finally sent an attendant at my residence for check up, that attendant felt the same problem which I have already mentioned above and then he did something amazing but my car could not resist his work so all went from bad to the worst. My car tried its best and I drove miles and miles but all in vain. Neither my car was happy nor I. It was still suffering from that problem and I could sense it. After thinking all above I decided to visit DD Motors Mayapuri as I considered them to be more trustworthy but as old saying goes that promises are kept to be broken so as trust. My car was hospitalized for two days and they charged me... For the treatment which was supposedly treated by DD Motors Wazirpur. More over I found few below discrepancies after service from DD Motors Mayapuri. Speedometer was not working - Coupler wire was not in place. Coolant bottle was not in place, I was feeling that bottle is verdict of hang till death. Bolt on Tappet cover is missing. Now paying for the service which is not at all satisfying and paying double the amount for nothing, I feel really great, and proud owner of Maruti product and really happy for the kind of service and attitude they have towards customer, they are so nice that they are not at all bothered to provide attendants for help, not only that they speak to customers so politely that it leaves one to be at least not more but being impressed by them. I think they can actually win an Olympic gold in arguments but alas there is no such competition, otherwise I would have got one more reason to boast being Maruti's customer. Nevertheless I am thankful to Maruti and their service centers DD Motors Wazirpur and DD Motors Mayapuri respectively for doing which was least expected out of them and god bless them for their deeds! I think I deserved all this humiliation and frustration for being Maruti car owner. In short I can not count on Maruti

After carrying out some denting work on the back side of vehicle and some repairing work on the bonnet your above mentioned authorized dealer had delivered the vehicle to the undersigned. On receipt of the vehicle I notice that the A.C. System of the vehicle was out of order. I took up the matter with the above authorized dealer, but the works manager of the dealer did not respond properly. Therefore, I had to got attended the above problem from an out side agency and as per the concerned person of that agency, the gas of A.C. System was drained due to faulty workmanship at the works of your authorized dealer M/s. Sky Automobiles, G.E. Road, Raipur. The copy of cash receipt of your authorized dealer as well as the out side agency who attended the A.C. System are enclosed for your ready reference. denial of basic services
we r getting our cars 3488 & 2619 serviced
every year from NARINA. Previously they provide plastic bag to deposit tool kit or insurance policy etc.
Today, 6.9.09 they denied to plastic bag as banned by Delhi High
Court. Hon`ble High Court banned non biodegradeable plastic bags not basic services to the
customers. Provide biodegradeable or paper bags or inform to the customers to make own arrangement when they are booking for the day of service.
Neither customer complaint/suggestion book was provided nor PRO Desk was visible. Customer satisfaction is very essential to survive in the competitive world.
After long 2 hours(Approx) waste, biodegradeable bag was provided . Alas ! again paper were denied to accept at security check.
Moreover web site address missing at job order card
which is very essential.

noise in brakes
Sir,
I have purchased maruti swift - vdi on 14th september 2008 from m/s batra auto company, faridabad code - 5803.
Car registration no - hr 51 ac 7420
Engine no - 1134769
Chasis no - 364531
Model no - rs 413
Insurance policy no - 4595909 from national insurance company valid till 12th sep 09
Under the name of m/s m. L bhansali & co.
1) we are having the problem in front brakes as the brakes are less effective & even noise is coming from front side while pressing the brake pedal even at a slower speed. I have already compaint about this problem to the service centre many times but all the times excuses have been given & still my problem has not been rectified.
2) I have taken the accidental claim in the month of june 2009 for denting & painting at lower left side running fender, the job done was so poor that the paint has swollen up & its chipping from the place even service centre have broken the wheel cover & made paint rough at the roof of my car. Inspite of complaining about the body paint & wheel cover, service centre refused to solve the problem.
3) every time late in delivering the car
You are requested to please look into this matter as it is already very delayed by yours authorised service centre.

Hi,
I am using my Swift VDI since 1.5 yrs ... I did exp. a very minimal noise when braking, While I am turning left/right. After i got it checked in ABT service center(Ukkadam) here in coimbatore, the noise increased many fold.
Service person claims that, it is natural and not to bother about this noise. He said even Maruti, itself doesnt have a solution for this.
I wonder, For such a fast vehicle how come the braking system is not upto the mark.
poor body shop-customer care
I am one of maruti customer having vehicle number-up-14-am-3249 wagan-r registered in the name of my wife mrs nishtha. I would like to inform you that since last two years I am taking the services of your authorized dealer m/s d. d. motors wazirpur. the said dealer is not providing the services as per the norms prescribed by maruti udyog limited. I approached the workshop of the said dealer on 13th august for the replacement of rear bumper and painting of dicky which was damaged due to a minor fire. also there was a leakage of water from the windscreen as it was not fitted properly by the dealer. it was replaced by the dealer a month back. initially the representatives refused to accept the complaint but on my resistance they admitted to have it done. I was given 17th august as date of delivery but nobody called me up to collect the vehicle on that day. I called the service advisor on his mobile ([protected]) on 18th august at 11 am but it was switched off. I contacted him on the landline phone but no satisfactory reply was given. I received a call at 3.30 pm to collect the vehicle as it was ready for delivery. I reached there after taking a break from my office at 4.30 pm, but waited for around one hour to be entertained by somebody, as there was a shortage of staff. at 5.30 pm the car was declared ready for final delivery but on my inspection, it was found that windscreen was not repaired, no rubbing polishing was done as its mandatory after painting, even the vehicle was not washed. the staff present there showed there helplessness. it is the duty of the advisors to inspect the car before the delivery but no rules were followed even the actual service advisor was not available at the time of delivery. the car was not in a position of delivery. it was a complete harassment as I had to manage time from my busy schedule and working hours. this type of problems were already faced by me on two occasions in the past but I ignored it, treating it as individual mistakes but now its unbearable becaust the deficiency in service is entirely on the dealers part as the system and policies are decided by them. the vehicle was finally delivered to me on 20th august but still the quality of work done is not satisfactory. the service staff are not even ready to admit there mistakes and the blame game starts but at last the customers bear the loss of time as well as money.
I humbly request the concerned authorities of maruti udyog limited to take necessary action so that the authorized dealer follow the rules and guidelines provided by the company, for the interests of the customers.
Thanking you.

I complained for this on the 2nd servicing i.e., 29-07-2017.They said that at time that the defect has been corrected.
But it was not so, just after one day of sevicing, after the rainfall the same problem came again and the water again started coming in and now in more amount than before.
I want this defect to be corrected as soon as possible and jabalpur motors ltd. has been closed.
Please reply me as soon as possible and solve my this problem, otherwise I'll go to the Consumer's Court.

I own an Alto and have never missed a service date.
One fine morning I find that the car is dead for want of electrolyte in the battery. So I checked the service manual and found that the service station had placed a tick mark on 'battery check' & 'electrolyte check' every time I had sent the vehicle for service.
I ended up purchasing a new Exide battery for 3050/-
All the four services were done at the same point (service dealer code # 4701) INDUS MOTORS.
I have written repeatedly to the management at the service station but to no avail. The point is I have had to spend money out of my pocket because of their negligence and so I will need to be compensated.
I am Rajesh, bought a Maruti alto Xfun from Hercules Automobiles Alleppey, Kerala in March 2017. A few month later when the monsoon started we came to know that, water is getting logged inside the car and this is been informed to Maruti as well as the dealer. The same has been repaired by fixing with sealond in the dealer's workshop in May 2017. The same problem is occurred again and the dealer and maruti is not bothered for a permanent solution, when I called maruti, they asked me to followup with Cochin regional office, but they are not sure to whom I should speak for this issue. The post sale support/service is very bad and now I am going to contact consumer protect group for a prompt resolution. My concern here when we contact Maruti for a new purchase, hundreds of their dealers and sales folks does follow-up with so many offers, but when a customer having problem they keep their hands up.

I have bought Wagon-R from sector 18 showroom after few month (15000 KM done) one of its head light lamp got fused your service person told that this will be change on self support basis company is not responsible, when the service gye took it out for change the lamp he found that lamp holder melt and fixed with head lamp completely and not coming out, I have changed complete holder and lamp on paid basis, how people can believe on maruti product if its accessories can not sustain for such a small periods. Do the accessories is being used of inferior quality?
Frankly speaking I am totally disgusted and very unsatisfied with the overall experience I’ve had so far with the MSIL and its products. One thing is for sure that I would never ever suggest anybody to go for Maruti products and would also give them reasons for the same sharing my experiences so far. Probably losing one customer would not affect Maruti at all. MSIL can either start working immediately on my complaints or sit over it and try to hide it .

I own a maruti suzuki alto lx on 02-02-2009 from jabalpur motors ltd., indore(m.p.), dealer's code no.-5302. Just after the 1st servicing water started coming inside the car from somewhere, when it is washed or due to the rainfall. bad service and behavior
I've owned a maruti alto 2004 model .My car got an accident by right side so I've reached to M/s.S.B.Car an authorised dealer of Maruti on 13-8-09 after getting quotation of Rs.11, 000 ( for one door change and one door repairing and painting of whole right side same colour )
I leave my car to them on 14-8-09 and promised me to deliver my car after 3-4 days but instead of many phones and approach they didn't deliver my car on said date.
And after many efforts they call us for taking delivery on 26-08-09 but I'm very depressed to see that after pre delivery inspection of my car It was very dirty in both out and in paint is all over the black beeding and in bumpers.
Most disappointing thing is The paint varies in all over (By this means door colour and fenders colour are different and in same door upper panel and lower pannel is also different )
and new glass beedings are defective
When I complaint about all these things they argues (one employee named Suneel) .
They also don't give us standby car and I'm spending 1000.00 per day for Taxi.
S.B. Car doesn't stand for customer satisfaction and is fading the goodwill of Maruti .

cheated - charged cost against free insurance & extended warranty
I, o. p. vaid, am feeling cheated by the m/s. magic auto, karol bagh, new delhi, maruti authorised dealer by manipulation in accounts as details below :-
Till date I could not understand the meaning or definition of free insurance and free extended warranty when I paid the cost of these items in cash.
and
What has the dealer given me against free insurance & free extended warranty?
I booked a maruti wagon-r vxi bs-iii immobiliser model car (silky silver metallic colour) with magic auto, karol bagh, new delhi a maruti authorised dealer on 4th august 2009 with an amount of rs.10, 000/- vide cheque no.334159 dated 3rd august 2009 and purchased under invoice no.1597, allotment no.30574 on 29th august 2009 in rs.360, 516/- + 1150/- (towards accessories). initially he offered vide proforma invoice free insurance and free extended warranty (photocopy available with me) and while purchasing the car he offered the trade discount of rs.24, 599/- in the following manner :-
(bifurcation stated by mr. gagan jaglan, asm (sales),
Magic auto, karol bagh in the meeting held on 25th august 2009)
I) insurance rs.12, 184-00
Ii) extended warranty rs.01, 890-00
Iii) corporate discount rs.02, 000-00
Iv) cash discount rs.11, 600-00
Total discount rs.27, 674-00
(-) vat @ 11.11% rs.03, 075-00
Net discount as per bill rs.24, 599-00
But on the other side the dealer actually charged (as per bill) which I actually paid, in cash, for
I) against free insurance and insurance policy issued for rs.11, 905/- with a difference of rs.279/- rs.12, 184-00
Ii) against free extended warranty rs.01, 890-00
Total amount charged extra by the magic auto, karol bagh, new delhi which are to be refunded as per details given below :-
(these amounts are also shown in bill in the charging side)
I) against free insurance rs.12, 184-00
Ii) against free extended warranty rs.01, 890-00
Iii) road tax & regn. (charged rs.9, 881/- and deposited an amount of rs.9, 511/- with the regn. authority vide receipt no.37884 dated 2nd august 2009) rs.00, 370-00
Total refundable amount rs.14, 444-00
On pursuing the matter at different level with mr. amit ram, sales executive (many times over phone and on personal meeting), mr. mohit (accounts section) and mr. gagan jaglan, asm (sales) at the karol bagh showroom on 25th august 2009, they are not ready to accept the above facts for refund of excess paid amount put before them by me.
Surprising facts
=
1. the same model of superior white colour (a non-metallic colour) has been purchased by a customer from m/s. aalianz automobiles, safdarjung enclave, new delhi on 16th july 2009 (just 13 days before me in the same month and city) in rs.352, 346/-. the difference of metallic colour may be more around rs.3, 000/- or so, then the difference may come to rs.5, 170/-.
2. the same model & same colour of wagon-r vxi has been purchased by a customer from m/s. competent automobiles, connaught place, new delhi on 30th june 2009 in s.347, 337/- just one month before me in the same city with a clear difference of rs.13, 179/- when no change in cost has been declared by the maruti suzuki india ltd.
Since the dealer has charged these amount very cleverly and has refused to pay back. it is quite possible that he might cheat so many other customers in the past. so stern action(s) against the magic auto, karol bagh must be initiated and penalised for this act to save other customers and image of maruti suzuki india ltd.
Please take stern action against the defaulter dealer as I am being felt cheated by paying extra amount against free items.
Here I would like to add that I want my money back (not in kind) with an interest @ 24% and compensation on being cheated by the dealer by manipulation in accounts.
If no action against the dealer is taken by maruti, I have to seek natural justice from consumer court by filing a case of cheating against the dealer and maruti suzuki india ltd. for not taking prompt action against the dealer.

i DO AGREE WITH THE COMPLAINANT. i HAD VISITED THIS SHOWRROM RECENTLY AND HAD SEEN THE INDIFFERENT ATTITUDE BY THE DEALER TOWARDS THE CUSTOMERS. MY VISIT WAS TO PURCHASE A BRAND NEW MARUTI WAGOR BUT WAS QUITE UNIMPRESSED BY THE WAY THEY BEHAVED AND HAD TO LEAVE THE SHOWROOM WITH DEEP REGRET FOR CHOSING MAGIC AUTO KAROL BAGH.
vehile not delivered after 11 weeks
Email sent on : 19th August 2009 to [protected]@maruti.co.in and [protected]@maruti.co.in and [protected]@fortpoint.co.in
I have booked Ritz ZXI on 10th June 2009 booking # S0309000388 from Fort Point - Thane branch; at the time of booking i have been told that i will be getting car in SIX WEEKS time by Mr. Raviraj.
At the end of six weeks duration i gave a call to Mr. Raviraj and he told me that he will check and get back to me; after several time follow-up with him i came to know that it may be delayed by two weeks more.
Then i got a no of Mr. Walance (sales supervisor - Fort Point - Thane); after several follow-up with him i got to know that my car is going to be delivered on 15th of August 2009 and i will be getting car on 22nd August. During this conversation Mr. Walance was ready to issue me a letter "Assuring the delivery of the vehicle between 15th to 22nd August).
When i went to Fort Point for getting this letter, i came to know that Fort Point has extended delay in delivery by 5 weeks (so it's 6 + 5 weeks); i didn't accept the letter when i went their show room as it was not the letter which was committed to me over phone.
Then i booked a complain on [protected] for delay in delivery and irresponsibly handling the customer; i got a complain no [protected] and customer care executive asked me to wait for few days!; They have asked dealer to give me proper reply on this issue, Mr. Raviraj and Mr. Walance was trying to convince me for getting the VXI variant instead of ZXI; Apparently they have informed back to customer care center and closed the issue.
During this process i got a phone no of Mr. Dhiraj Agarwal (area sales executive); talked to him on 17th August 2009, regarding the issue about delay in delivery and he replied me saying he will discuss with his boss and get back to me on 19th. When i called to regional office no; i came to know that he is out of office today so call tomorrow.
With complete frustration i called on toll free no again to know status of the previous complain and they have registered new complain i.e. [protected] and asked me to wait and give them call after few days.
I am trying to get the status of car since last 5 weeks but I didn’t have proper answer since last many weeks; neither dealer nor customer care nor sales executive every one is buying time.
I am sorry to say this that I had never seen such a pathetic customer care service in any industry where value of customer is nothing.
Here with I am attaching the documents, which I got during this full idiotic process.

I am sure now, that either fort point or MARUTI has no value of what you have said earlier.
In reply dated 25th August you are saying it will be delivered in 3 weeks where as i have highlighted in your reply dated on 20th August about 15 days i.e.2 weeks. In none of the reply you are saying what if two weeks passed and you have not delivered? do you have any answer which i can digest?
In real world there is no value of word "SORRY FOR INCONVENIENCE". I have gone through serious mental trauma during fallowing things out in this process. Neither maruti nor fort point has even thought about inconvenience and you are talking about bloody sorry for this process! I did spend about enough money for followup phone calls to Mr. Raviraj and Mr. Walance
I had waited double the time what has been earlier committed to me and still i am getting false commitments only.
When you guys will stop giving promises and start acting? Is this the way you always deal with customer? I am not saying that only Fort Point is responsible for this; MARUTI is equally responsible for this complete irresponsible process. Who is responsible in Maruti and Fort point is for this?
Don't reply me if you have only ### word "sorry" instead of something firm on hand to deliver. Where the heck maruti representatives are? Were they sleeping during this period? What has caused this much of delay? Do you have any justifications on my questions?
I have a similar case like Mr. Mihir Gandhi, after booking a Swift Dzire VXI in the month of September 2008. The vehicle was to be delivered within two months. Fort Point did not deliver the vehicle nor confirmed as to what is the reason for the delay or how much more time it will take for delivery.
I managed to get the contact number of Maruti Regional Sales office in Bandra, Mumbai. Response from Maruti Regional office was as such, they were not really bothered about such customer complaints and dealers are important for them.
After spending a couple of weeks, I realised that it is waste of time and money interacting with such unprofessional people. I cancelled my booking and received the refund of Rs 50000/- in the month of January. Obviously, they did not bother to pay any interest because the booking was cancelled by me! I asked them whether they have realised as to what made me cancel the booking? I am yet to receive an answer from Maruti or Fort Point on this.
Have you ever seen a contact number / mail id of a Maruti official who is responsible for attending such complaints? With so many options, customers still book Maruti vehicles and wait for a couple of months and face the same problem.
Do you think, Suzuki will be handling Japanese customers like this? Unfortunately, in our country customers have no value. They are always sqeezed on prices, quality, after sales service and everything.
Regards
GI
Actually my case is worse than Mr Mihir Gandhi's. I booked my Silky Silver Ritz LXi with Competent Motors in Delhi on 8 July 2009. I haven't set eyes on the car yet - it is 15 October today. There has been no respose from Maruti Customet Care either. Competent keeps putting me off every few days. In the meanwhile I'm already losing interest on my car loan. I'm certain that Competent gives out the cars to customers who are willing to pay cash down and a premium. In fact another branch of Competent did offer me the car on a premium of 9, 000/-. I think Maruti needs to seriously relook at its distribution network.

Sub: grievance about ownership experience-maruti swift dzire zdi-mh-43-x-6146
Dear sir,
I, n ramnath iyer residing in navi mumbai do hereby solicit for your kind attention about the horrible experience of my swift dzire vehicle (chassis no.:ma3fkeb2s00176145, engine no.:d13a1228140, colour mc biege) purchased from your authorized dealer, m/s. automotive manufacturers pvt. ltd. on june 6th 2009.
The list of following grievances needs to be addressed immediately:
A) at the time of delivery, some scratches were observed in the rear hood at their showroom which was duly brought to their notice but they took it casually and assured me that the same would be rectified while I deliver the vehicle for 1st service, which was never done.
B) secondly based on their pursuance for value added service, I accepted and gave the vehicle for under chassis coating and teflon/paint protection care for which they quoted a sum of rs.3000/- only.in the evening when I went to take delivery I found that only under chassis coating was done and the teflon/paint protection care on outer body was not done. on enquiry they started defending as job being done but the same was not attended at all. also the scratches were also not rectified as promised then.
C) off late the visibility during driving was found quite blurred from front and rear windshield glasses especially when it rained. on close scrutiny, I found the surface of the glasses very rough and there were thick deposition of some foreign material causing the blur.
D) last but not the least, I was shocked to observe the paint defect on the roof panel, (painting has been done over the adhesive material and the roof panel has been repaired and repainted). the finish clearly indicates the difference between two panels. this has left me in doubts whether I have been saddled with an accident repaired vehicle by the said dealer.
As a privileged maruti car owner I feel cheated and bereft of the trust I had in the brand called suzuki-maruti.
I am even more worried and frightened to either inform about or take the vehicle to the said dealer (automotive) as I do not have any trust in their customer/product services or their competitiveness.
I put forth to you these grievances as a disturbed customer for your immediate action as I am worried and fear whether these people have given damaged/defective vehicle and my confidence on this vehicle has gone down very badly and I am worried about safety of myself and my family by using this vehicle any more.
I would request you to take up this matter with the dealer and help me in getting a new undamaged vehicle wherein I could restore all my confidence and trust on this trusted brand in which I had a blindfolded faith and belief as this is my 3rd car.
Thanking you,
Sincerely yours,
Your aggrieved customer

promised min fuel
Hi,
I booked an Alto LXI from Varun Motors (Begampet Office), Hyderabad. As per Martui guidelines, @ the time of delivery the dealer is supposed to fill in a min of 5 Ltr of fuel.
I was also made to sign the check list that the fuel is there...however since the car has come from the workshop (appx 10 km) from the shop, I was informed to top up the fuel.
Since I was in a hurry that late evening, I calculated that even if there was 4 ltr fuel the car should run atleast 60 Km (15 kmpl x 4 ltr) without refueling. But to my surprise the car complete stopped after running 9.6 km.
Imagine a new car with all ribboned up...and I am dragging it to the pertrol station on the very first day. I am sure somwhere someone is cutting the corners and making money @ expense of the customer. I have given a written feedback to Varun Motors and to Maruti, and still waiting for a response from them.

clutch problem
I have purchased maruti wagon r lxi in september 2008. after completing around 9000 kms I faced problem in clutch as it was not much smooth as it was earlier. sometimes it takes jerks while pressing or releasing. for the same I visit bagga link motors who told me that there is a problem in retainer. they clean it and the problem gets ok. upon completing another 1000 kms. the problem comes again. the vehicle is under warranty and upon revisit again they are not going to change which a local dealer advise me to get the same change as the vehicle is under warranty.
APPROACH CONSUMER COURT OR SO ON AND GET THE SAME CHANGED.
