Its the Worst experience, its Manager & as well as Teller HIMANSHU dont wanted to work, I have entered the branch on time and they refused to provide services as they have to run to their houses.
If somebody came inside the branch before 3:30 pm its their obligation to entertain/service.
Its a matter of just 1 transaction either debit the customer account or cash but they are in hurry to close cash and close the system as soon as possible to run by giving very lame excuses that they have close the cash/other transaction even though the cash pick up service people are there
If they can not provide services to people who ever are inside before 3:30 pm then Bank should reduce the time so that people like HIMANSHU go/run early.
Moreover HIMANSHU dont have manners how to talk with people/customers

Last night I did money transaction to India. AED 1290 was deduct from my account but the money is not reach the beneficiary and I received message from Mashreq the transaction is rejected.

My name is Priyesh Prathap holding Smart save credit card no [protected]. Have been using this card since 2013. I had approached for a settlement for this card since July 2018 sending emails to Mr Nishanth, Mr Hani etc from bank. (screenshots attached) I made payment of AED 8100 on January 28th after I received a settlement email of AED 24300 in 3 instalments January Feb and March. (screenshot attached) When I was about to make the payment suddenly Mr Umair says that it has been moved to legal and settlement not approved by bank. Now I am in touch with Mr Asim who says is from legal department [protected]. He says there is no case till now but I am yet to get a settlement option. I received a statement dated 28th January which is not showing the amount paid. I need the following clarity
1) Whether there is a police case against me
2) Can I settle balance 2 emis feb and march 8100 each and close the card
You can see my payment track. It got defaulted only after I asked for settlement. I have attached screenshots of all the communication done with Mashreq. I will be back to UAE on employment if there is no case against me and continue to be a good customer as I have always been.

I got a message that my credit card has been activated as per my request whereas I did not make any request for a credit card ...a few hours later I get a message that payprotect has been activated as per my request...again I didnt make this request...when I call on the call center number there is no option to speak with a customer care executive...this is frustrating...please have this resolved ASAP otherwise I will have no option but to discontinue using Mashreq Bank servicee

After being Mashreq customer for more than 9 years and got cheated for nearly 2 years!?
Today I was going through my E- statement and suddenly I saw a strange word and a fee which was " Pay Protect" including Tax in total of 242.61AED.
I immediately called to the customer service department and knowing this service was started from May 2017. I was in shock, and of course angry, disappointed and lost all my trust to the bank. When I open the credit card I was informed free for life, no any charges! And I was very clear with your staff I do not wish to have any services in the future. However this was not the case, as I was informed this Pay protect service it was there for nearly two years… and I was paying without knowing almost 2 years?!
No one has ever and never called me, email me, message me or inform me about this service at all!...And from when they decided or your bank decided to use very unprofessional way or cheating way to treat their customers! You should give your customer clear message to explain about the products and if your customers are willing to go ahead with the service, from that moment on, then it's legal. That was not my case, I was totally unaware, they just did in the system without my authorization.!

I highly recommend each one of you who are using their credit card to double check if there is any unaware fee . even you call customer center is useless because the option will never guide you to speak to someone, it took me more than 100 mins to try to get someone to raise my complaint. Even explained the whole situation, they are not able to help even the case is totally unacceptable from the bank. The bank won't call their customer to talk about the product, nor asking the approval, they just did add certain kind of service which you will never think about they will add, in a very unprofessional way, unclear! When we were not being informed which in another word, we are being cheated! Even they don't care how loyal you are to the bank! That's how they lost trust and reputation from their customer!

Please see below my earlier communication with your colleague, please go thru the email and see the issue which was done by the collection company (AMAN DEBT collection) which you have asked them to follow up with me here in Lebanon, note that I have paid the 1st installment AED 10, 000 on 28-07-2018 (dead line was 31-07-2018) and was ready to pay the remaining and final installment for AED 5, 000 before 31/08/2018 however wrong statement showing from the bank AED 11K instead of 5K have been sent to me by around AUG 10 2018 and before the deadline 31-08-2018 which make me totally confused and not sure about the money which I need to pay, I have emailed immediately Aman collection company and also the bank as per the below email and unfortunately no answer from the bank neither from collection agency have been received, after 1week only in SEP 2018 your colleague start chasing me tp pay AED11K which of course I refused, I have requested him to pay the AED 5, 000 and tried to talk to him over the phone which was very bad telephone conversation and he has informed me that he will take the necessary action against me here in lebanon which make me very angry, I've told him that if I want to run from paying then I wont pay the AED 10, 000 right? and I have informed him that I'm paying my personal loan here to trace collection without any issues and even I'm in Lebanon I will never run from my liabilities and will pay it for sure.
Dear Muhammad, I can pay now only the AED 5, 000 which is suppose to be and you I'm shocked to see that within 5 months you have charged me AED 9K interest! so balance now is AED 14K!, this is completely your colleague from the bank mistake and collection company mistake (AMAN DEBT collection) so you are kindly requested to check with your management on this matter and once you confirm to me that no additional outstanding above AED 5, 000 I will pay it right away either transfer or thru Trace from here what ever you prefer.
note that I have a high personal loan with Mashreq for above AED 200K and I'm paying on every month the installment from here in Lebanon to your agent TRACE collection since 9 months without any issues and I'm very happy with TRACE service (no hidden charges, no hidden information...) like Aman did to me before on my credit card so please advise on this urgently.

I have pers. account no. [protected]. I had opened FD for AED 105000/- on 5/10/18 and had bought 3 Bonds of AED 5000/- each. I was given a credit card and was informed that no penalty was imposable due to FD and bonds. But amount of AED 25/- has been debited on 29/11/18 and 31/12/18. Moreover the redemption amount of AED 105000/- has not yet been credited to my personal Account though request given on 6/01/19 at Karama branch.

Hi. I got a loan with Mr Mazen. Also he offered a Platinum Elite Credit Card. After 2 months I received a message that annual charges will be deducted. I was not informed about the charges. Myself and my husband had asked if there are annual charges and he said no. I called Call Center yesterday where I was promised I will be contacted. I requested to waive the charges and to cancel the card. No one contacted me. Today I called again and a lady (Amira) from call center promised someone would call me today. And nothing! Also yesterday we contacted Mr Mazen, he said he would get back to us and we were again ignored.

I had been a customer and finished my business with Mashreq last 2012. It's been 6yrs of no business with them till today. I have received 2 credit card bills charging me for paper bill of aed5 plus vat for each. If I will not pay this, I'm sure that I'm gonna owe them more but how would I be able to when I don't even have an account/card with them for more than 6years!
I tried calling their customer care but it's unreachable! for over 6 years, their customer service didn't improve a bit. One of the reasons why I closed my account with them.

3) Worst bank to do business.
4) No concern for customer issues.
5) If you have any problem with the products or card, you will never get any help.

A customer Bank representative called me to offer the Pay Protect product and he said that if I used my credit card, they will not charge to me anything, but something different has happened. They are charging it even if I use my card. In addition, I've been trying to call to the customer services phone and there is no a single option to get in contact with customer services representative. The phone services are really bad, I am really disappointed with this bank and I will not recommend to any one to get an account with them. The worst bank ever.
