when I got to Max Motors. They tried to charge me more and it was a real hassle. The sales guy was nice enough, but the whole experience was frustrating. Ended up walking away and going somewhere else. Don't waste your time here.

I went to Max Motors in May to fix my brakes in Manhattan KS. They gave me a rental car while they fixed my car. They had my car until September 20th. They paid for the rental from May to August, but they only want to pay for half of the September rental fee. They said it's because my car is over 8 years old. I don't understand why they won't pay for the whole rental fee. They covered most of it already. It's not my fault that the repair took so long. They should cover the whole rental fee because it's a recall issue. I never heard of this before.

I went to Max Motors in Nevada on July 26th to buy a 2020 Toyota Tacoma. I gave them $5,000 for the used truck. When I signed the papers, I asked if I could use the sales tax rebate from my old truck to pay for the new one. They said yes. But when we went to the DMV a week later, they said we had to pay the full sales tax. We went back to Max Motors and they said they wouldn't fix the paperwork. If they hadn't lied to me, I wouldn't have put $5,000 down. I could have used that money to pay the sales tax or put it in the loan.

I went to Max Motors on 3-17-22 to get my 2013 jeep fixed. My hubby said the heater/ac wasn't working right & maybe it was the thermostat. The bill showed they changed the *** sensor for $***. But then my jeep started overheating. I had to tow it to So County Jeep ***. They said the thermostat was the problem because Max Motors put in an aftermarket part called "moto rat". The thermostat got stuck & coolant went everywhere, overheating the engine. The filter was soaked too. It cost me $*** to fix it. I tried to talk to Max Motors but the manager wasn't there. The person who answered the phone said they use aftermarket parts a lot when they don't have Jeep parts. When I asked if Jeep authorized the parts, he hung up without taking my number. I called Jeep customer service for help. Max Motors should give me my $*** back & pay for the $*** repair they caused with their aftermarket parts.
