To whom it may concern:
I have never been so unhappy with a $6/700 purchase.
Shortly, after it was purchased it started shaking about and banging around on spin. I'd redistribute the weight and that never worked. I'd have to take clothes out to spin and drain, then do it again with the remaining clothes. I've but a rug under it and that didn't help. Basket doesn't go straight down when pushed down, but bounces all all around.
The balancing legs seem intact, but have dug into the yoga mat/rug.
I took off the top tonight and stabilizer rods seem intact, but the plastic outer drum is dinged from hitting the outside edge.
What can Maytag do to right this terrible wrong?

Maytag washer, Top Load with glass top
Maytag washer, Top Load with glass top. The hinge on the back left went through the glass top. I do believe this is a bad design since they are no longer made that way, they now have oven type hinges on them. The breaking of the glass top prevents me from using the washer at all.
The glass top is $299.00 not including extra shipping for an oversized item and not including installation.
Delivery not received
I have been expecting a delivery since 8/25/2021 and I keep getting "potentially delayed" messages every day. The tracking number is 9622085030000611820900527779744663. According to FedEx tracking, my shipment has been sitting in Oak Park, Michigan all week. I do not understand what the hold-up is with my delivery and I would like to know what is going on. Softener compartment not draining during wash on maytag washer
This problem started happening around a month ago. I put softener in the compartment before the wash. When wash is over, the compartment is completely full of water and the the softener did not reach the clothes. I have to use paper towels to blot out the water.
Also, the washer is leaving white streaks on dark clothes. I use liquid dark wash detergent and no softener in the wash. I wash with cold water on the cold water wash cycle.

Lied to me, freeman's maytag duncan, oklahoma
I booked a service call in "person" at the store. The date arrived and they no showed. I called, an they indicated I did not book a service call. This was a blatant lie. This is not the first problem I have had with Freemans. They installed a new dishwasher and damaged my Kitchen counter top. I took several trips and two contractor to fix my counter top over weeks.

Purchased a top of the line Maytag Dishwasher from Lowes this year for $905.25. It quit over a week ago flashing E1F6 which denotes a bad motor. I called Maytag who scheduled a repair service for 8-19. As required I stayed home all day, no service man. I called the vendor they contracted with only to be told that serviceman took his wife to hospital at 12 am. I asked why no call, and was told they were too busy, and did not know when they could get to me. I called maytag again yesterday am, related the above info, asked them to get it fixed today or replace it.
I still have not heard back when a repair can be made. This may be the LAST appliance I buy from Maytag.

I purchased this washer and a maytag dryer in May of 2018 and every since I bought it it has had a problem with the off balance going off no matter how I load it. I reload it several times before it will spin the water out. and sometime it does not clean the clothes so I will have to wash them twice. I had service and the technician stated that this washer is defective and cannot be fixed. I have always had a May Tag washer my whole life and my mother had one too. That is why I purchased another Maytag washer because the last forever. This is supposed to be an energy efficient washer, its not when I have to start it over and over again just to wash one load I am wasting electricity and water. I would like a full refund on this washer.

We have had a leak ever since we bought a washer and dryer on Sept 4, 2020.
We have summoned plumbers, repairmen, carpenters, and Maytag repairmen in to solve the problem. We have cut holes in walls and the ceiling to make sure that pipes were not the problem. The last repairman switched the motor
of the dryer so that it does not shake as much. However, even that repair has
not solved the problem. We have written to Maytag on Aug 19, 2021, asking them to reimburse us for the machines or to replace them and remain after
installation to establish that the leaks have stopped.

I purchased a Maytag Refrig (serial #K84808522), model #MF12570FEZ06) on 6/22/2019. I had problems with the ice maker from the very beginning and now it does not work at all. A technician came 11/29/2019 with no resolution for the ice maker, and I called 05/14/2021 and spoke with a customer rep with, again no resolution. I also sent a certified letter to Maytag on 6/28/2021 in addition to two emails to Mark Bitzer, CEO, with no responses. I am seeking resolution for the repair at no expense to me since the refrigerator is only two years old and I have filed complaints shortly after purchase.

We have a top loader. Less than a year old. Bought at lowe's. It does not wash…clothes are dirty. Impossible to get in touch w/maytag. We have yet to speak to a person. Have yet to rec'v response to our email…. We tried to submit request for service, but it would not submit…. (yes, all "fields" filled out accordingly). Our washer doesn't wash! Ha! Can not wash normal soil…like dirt, from jeans, shirts, socks! Nothing…zip! Clothes don't move during wash cycle! Pink top was at 12:00 when put in washer, nearly 40 min later…it's still at 12 position! I have a video of different times during wash cycle, along w/before and after photos. I garden as a hobby…. Not professionally…and I sweat. It can't remove sweat! Can't even wash our deodorant from our shirts! It's stunning! Unbelievably stunning! I want a refund. Period. I had a Maytag washer with an agitator.. Absolutely loved it... I just recently purchased a Maytag washer top loader with no agitator.. The worse investment I have ever made.. I will never purchase a top loader again.. My laundry room reaps of mold and mildew because of the washer.. When someone tells me they are purchasing a washer - I will go on a rampage and tell them about this.. This washer is only 1 year old and I am going to get rid of it. And yes, I do take every precaution and use the Allfresh which does not work... Whoever the engineer who designed it - did a poor job.. Totally DISSATISFIED with this Maytag item..

Gas dryer
I purchased this maytag dryer model #MGDC4655HW1 in May 30.21... In July 2021 machine stopped working, called Lowes where I purchased it and they contacted local appliance repair company. They came within 2 weeks., look at the dryer and said nothing was wrong with it and left. The following day wash my clothes and went ahead to dry them and the dryer was not working (heating). This is not acceptable.
The In-home Appliance Repair shop that your Company sent to check on my Maytag model # MGDC465HW1, SERIAL # MA10 05275 was brought on May 30, 2021 at Lowe's in EL Paso, Texas. The repair man arrived at my home and came into my house to check on the DRYER which was not drying the clothes. All he did was to turn on the dryer which it ran but did not heat up. and told me that it was working, nothing regarding the heat,. He bent down open remove a small inspection plate look into it and told me it was working (IT WAS NOT) So I call the company back (In-home Appliance Repair shop spoke to a lady and told her that the dry did not heat up, her response was we will call you back, this was 2 weeks ago.
So I call your Company again telling them about the dryer not working, So they said that they will send someone else, they did. I waited another week for the repair man from the shop call Ameri-Tech Appl Repair SVC INC. This repair man came in and ask me what was wrong with the dry, So I explain to him that dryer did not heat up. This repair man listen to me and he started to inspect the dryer which tore it down check heat sensor and other items,. I turn out that sensor in heating element maybe the problem but he did not have the part on hand he has to order it which may take about two week. That make two and half months of not having a workable Dryer!
He told if the part does not fix the dryer problem that your company will send another Repairman this does not make sense. my question to you is, Is this how your Company (MAYTAG) is run, putting the customer in bad situation, bad light and trusting the Company all they wanted is our money? I should be able to return this machine for a new one since they are unable to repair it and it has a 10 years warranty. Then I receive an email from Marc Peremans, SENIOR MANAGER, FIELD SERVICE asking me how do I like the maytag dryer, I wish I can express my feeling but I can not do it on this open complaint. I hope you hear from you and your Company!

Maytag Washer
Our washer stopped working on May 24th (only 8 months after purchasing), and scheduled a service appt on June 10th. The repair person said a part will need to be ordered and it will take 21 business days. After waiting a month and half after the service appt, I called and was told the part was not found and Maytag was supposed to call to let us know a new washer will need to be issued. A Maytag representative said they have contacted Lowe's and Lowe's should be calling to let us know when we can pick it up. The Lowe's representative said they are waiting on a reimbursement credit from Maytag. After calling Maytag, again, a representative said they have issued the notice to Lowes. We called Lowe's again, and they said they haven't received anything. I called Maytag, again and they said they are waiting on store information to release the reimbursement. Lowe's said they haven't received it. This has been back and forth for a month now, and still no resolution. The Product Exchange representatives are not helping to move this along or expedite this issue. It's been 3 months without a working washer, and having to use the laundromat. Also, the washer we bought was pricey. At this point, I am frustrated with the product and customer service especially.
At this point, I do not trust the product and customer warranty process and would like to have an extended warranty on both washer and dryer I have purchased.

I purchased this washing machine in july 2020... In june 2021 machine stopped washing, called lowes where I purchased it and they contacted local appliance repair company. They came within 2 weeks. Went threw diagnostic code, said the shift actuator needed to be replaced, they ordered it, 2 weeks later it was installed. Still machine was not working. Appliance person came back 2 days later said they needed to order a gear case which is on back order. 8/4/2021 called maytag to see when this part would be in they said probably another 21 days, and that isn't a guarantee. I asked if I could get a new machine since it was still under warranty they said not I have to wait for part to come in, now at this point I am very frustrated as it cost me $50 a week to do laundry. I could have purchased a new machine. This is not acceptable. I should be able to return this machine for a new one since they are unable to repair it, their excuse is that due to covid parts aren't available. Everything cant be blamed on covid. I do not blame the appliance people they are doing their part, its the maytag company. If your are going to sell appliances you should honor warranties, and keep your customers happy.

After having a repairman out a few times and replacing the control panel, he determined that the washer is designed to only fill with a few inches of water on any cycle, even though it has a huge tub. Results is clothes not clean, can't wash large bedding or curtains as advertised by sales person. This is unacceptable. I want a different washer. I bought this washer in Jan 2021. It quit agitating in May. The repair company wants to replace the motor W11497303, shift actuator W10913953, motor cap W11428524, and control board W11428524 . The last item is over $600. I only paid $674 for the washer. The repair company arranged for these parts to be sent to me, and when I received them I was to call them back and arrange for installation. So far I have only received the drive motor, even though the rest of the parts are in stock from multiple sources. My washer has been out of service for over 2 months now and I want to get it fixed. What do I have to do to make this happen? Thanks.

It ran well for two months and started to display error and would not run. Had a repair man out(Best BUY) and states that it needs a new control board and soap dispenser. Its been over 4 months waiting for parts, a unhappy wife and a broken machine. The machine has been broken longer than it has worked!, I an very dissatisfied customer and have a very low opinion of maytag. I just purchased a new washer/dryer and did not loo at any Maytag products.

Bravo xl washer dryer set
Purchased their top of the line set the end of 2018, the drier has had some type of issue with the power button now working all the time and now the washer will not get any power. The power button will not turn it on nor will the cycle know! It seems that these Models have some type of electrical issue and should be recalled. As consumers we do not pay more for an expectation of a better quality product to have it totally be non functioning before 3 years. Now that the washers power has fried I'm guessing I'm sure the drier will also soon as it's the same thing with the power board is what I'm assuming. They should recall. The model is no longer being sold so that tells me there was some kind of issue that they fixed with the upgraded model.

Maytag will not provide a wiring diagram for my appliance MFI2067AES
This correspondence was meant to be to Maytag customer service but they only allow 500 characters to respond.
My MAYTAG refrigerator stopped working and would not cool. I contacted a local repair man to determine the problem. He came to the house asked if I had a wiring schematic for the MFI2067AES model. I was unable to find the schematic in my manual or online. I called Maytag customer service. I was finally punted to ‘Tod' (ID:4347), the resolution provider. He stated that he would/could not supply the wiring diagram and would only refer me to a certified Maytag provider. I stated that I had a repairman at my house who could repair refrigerators. He said only a certified Maytag repairman would be allowed to have the wiring diagram for the appliance and not the owner. I asked if I could be referred to someone up the line who would help me. He said No.
I realize that you (Maytag) have a policy and choose not to provide a wiring diagram to the customer. I too am able to choose.
