On 8/11/[protected]@4:47 pm I visited the west roxbury mass drive through. As we were driving and sharing a med box of French fries, my son reached into the box something poked his finger midway the box. He looked to find a screw in the fries. I immediately called McDonald’s to inform them, took pictures and went back to the store. I also reached out to corporate via email and to this date have not even gotten a response from them. I am disappointed all the money I have spent over the years in the company and this is the treatment that display! Sad part is I gave that box to my autistic nephew then took it back and gave him the smaller of the 2. He could have swallowed that screw instead of my son getting poked. They to add insult when I went to speak with the manager he tried to sneak and take the screw out of the box before returning it back to me. And they continued to serve other customers from that batch even after I informed them of my findings. Never doing business at any of their establishments ever again
Desired outcome: It would have been nice to get a response. Not knowing where that screw was prior and if any chemicals were attached. Some type of compensation.
