No service and no response for months
Worked with Paul Peck from Metro, his first adjuster came and investigated a claim, measured house for a rod, floor and window claim after my house was hit by a tornado. Claim agent leaves the company with no one knowing for months. Nothing done with my claim. Paul himself comes to my home, promises to fix this problem and send a letter from his lawyers to the insurance company, never heard from him again . Now 6 months or so from that date
Desired outcome: Claim to be reopened with insurance company and a lawyer letter
insurance adjustment
Terrible...This is the most awful unprofessional company I have ever dealt with in my life. I would never recommend them to handle anyone's claim.
instead of going through my insurance and paying a $500 deductible. a friend recommended Metro (Paul).
Almost 2 months. Paul got $600 my insurance got paid $500 and I am getting $1, 700 to repair a $2, 500 job. They bled me dry.
Its been almost 2 months and I still have nothing yet and whats worse is they are still sending me paper work to sign that was taken care of weeks ago.
misrepresentation of the process
This is a scam. I signed a contract with Metro on the basis that they would recover money for damages to my home, I could serve as my own contractor, and could use the surplus for other repairs. In the past, when I received a claim from my insurance company, I received so little that I was literally forced to do the work myself. So I contracted this company so I would get enough to cover the claim. The salesman assured me that I would receive such a large settlement that I could do other work to my home. Once they settled, I was told a) that the mortgage company would cut and release a check to me and b) by someone else that the work would be monitored requiring me to hire an external contractor (which means money out of pocket). In the first place, I was angry at having the results of this completely represented to me (I was lied to by the adjuster) and then having the office play hard ball with me and threaten me with collections when I threatened to refuse the settlement. They were not polite at all. The woman on the phone at the office was hostile and rude. The adjuster was a liar who misrepresented what would happen from day one. And the two employees I dealt with were telling me two different stories about what was happening. In fact, the person in the office said that the adjuster didn't know what he was talking about. Stay as far away from this company as you can get.

insurance
I have been a field adjuster for 3 big Insurance companies for 30 years. Unfortunately I have ripped off thousands of homeowners because at the time I was paid a salary from the insurance companies not pay the homeowner the amount they should have received to what i actually offered them. I even denied homeowners telling them their claim wasn't legit, when I knew in my heart it actually was. I would feel terrible inside... There are 2 reasons why I got away with it. 1. Homeowners never read their policies and don't understand their rights as a homeowner. 2. Homeowners never hired a public adjuster...
4 years ago I retired, I then had a claim at my house. I then called Metro Public Adjustment. They were fantastic the way they handled my claim and the professionalism they showed me. As a former field adjuster I know how the Insurance companies are and they don't like to pay, however Metro got my claim settled and I received every penny I deserved. Thank you Metro.
Prospective candidate and poor quality thereof
A few weeks ago I received an unusual email from someone with the first name Emmet but this person gave no identifying information on him/herself which I thought at first was not straightforward at all as the other 99% of emails, IMs or even calls that are remotely legitimate and not made for 'other reason's are.
This Emmet simply asked for the Website to my/our Metro Ad so I replied that like 100's if not 1000's of others in actually applying for the position provided as requested for in the Ad which this person ignored-I asked for a full name, cell number and email address.
After that I replied with all the offices' presentations and with my full signature which this person went to town on.
Emmet without asking me IM'd me that I was 88=*&^^^ countless expletives so I cannot reprint sames accusations and curses. Same said we were all snake oil salesmen and personally threatened and attacked me for no reason whatsoever.
After I received the first email to my C/L Ad I called at 6:30pm and there was no answer and got a simple question reply as to why I was calling Emmet at that time.
Are you kidding me? Most people to make ends meet work 60-80 hour weeks and several jobs as I do but I rarely call much later than 6pm but who knows what precipitated this emotional attack from this Emmet.
Many outsiders are just looking to cause trouble for the sake of it and are jealous and base their attacks not on the facts that we work by the rule of law as we are licensed by the state and the ONLY NATIONAL PUBLIC ADJUSTING COMPANY IN THE USA and only try to get the maximum for our clients and all property owners from the most meager means to ones who own billions of dollars' worth of property.
This should serve as a warning to people like Emmet who use name calling, curses and outright lies to attack hard working honest people like myself and be careful should they they threaten you and keep your due diligence sharp as I would not hesitate for a second once they break the law and slander or libel you or come close which I am doing so to protect myself and thankfully we at Metro are well prepared for these attacks.
We are the best and people with emotional problems of their own aside from insults based on lies they themselves make up belittle them and not the person and or the company they attack.
Initial employment question
I responded to an ad in Craigslist for a part time job. I received an email from a guy who signed his email, 'preachers son'. I reviewed his companies web site and real the abundance of complaints on this and many other sites. Then within 15 minutes I received a call, which I didn't answer at dinner time (6:15 PM) on Saturday night. I didn't answer and then googled the number. It was listed to Dave something and the listing said claims adjusting, just like Metro.
I texted the number back and requested he not call me at dinner time on Saturday night. I also emailed the other guy back and asked him why he gave my number out for somebody to call me at dinner time.
I then received profanity laced emails from him and texts from Dave calling me loser and hasicidic Jew (I'm Irish catholic, so I can't imagine what that was about). It was just unbelievable.
I told both of these characters to stop contacting me and that I will be reporting them to their company Monday morning.
These people are modern day snake oil salesmen. Nothing more than lying con artists offering a questionable product to unsuspecting home owners who are desperate.
Anyone who takes a job with these people will be very, very sorry. They are truly the #### of the earth!
Ripoff and poor service
I decided to use this company as they had told me that they will help me through. However, that is not what is going on right now. They let you sign the agreement with 35% for them to charge you on every check you get in top of that you pay extra at the end when i received our first check they send it for me to sign and my bank but belong with the check there are few papers that you have to sign 1st you have to pay thei attorney amount of 350, processing for amount of 600 and the check process for amount of 200. You would of think everything should be included from the 35% that taking out from you. So, we got $30k but total we will get was only $18k. I was even told by name if amy when i asked her that get all the cheap #### like laminate in my house. We just our furnace and insulation done we ended up putting out pocket for the amount of $1k additional ti finished up the job. Now our floor and kitchen needs to be done as well and i will be expecting just $6k well this check that i am receiving from insurance is totaled of $11k but of course they have to take their share their saying lol. However, if you are planning on filling claim i will tell you now that you can fule a claim within 1 yr of the damage i believe, the $1k deductible that insurance from you is not coming out you pocket they will take that out of your claim that your fillin. It is the best for you to do it yourself believe it or now because at least you will get your money and you have the rights on fighting it back if you think it is not enough. I full regret it hiring these people! J always that karma is a ##### and how can these people sleep at night knowing they are fooling their clients. Also, they can feed their family from dirty job.
Refund not paid
I was recruited by James Cash to possibly become ea Public Adjuster with Metro Public Adjusters, headquartered in Bensalem, PA. Shortly after the initial meeting, I decided not to pursue the position. At that time, Mr. Cash gave me his word, a personal promise, that he would refund the $40 I had already paid for training materials. He never sent me the refund, never responded to my calls or e-mails or texts. Ever
ripped off alot of money we did all the work they took a huge percentage which was 35% it was suppose to 25% phone calls not returned lie to about contract big rip off do not use this company
ou should direct your concerns to Larry Lowry, Chief Operating Officer. Call [protected] abd ask for him directly.
Insurance Claim
I hired Metro Public Adjustment to assist me in making sure that my fire claim paid me enough to cover the damages that were done to my property. My case was reassigned twice, slowing the process down immensely. I haven't heard from my adjuster from Metro in over a week, and today the adjuster from my insurance company sent Metro a check based on her own estimate. Basically, I am expected to pay 15% of what my insurance company would have paid me originally because I signed a contract, even though Metro did absolutely nothing for me. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY.

Insurance collections
Jamal the public adjuster was called in to assist with a small electrical fire in the basement that resulted in some damage after the fire department was called in. Jamal informed my family that we had nothing to worry about and that everything would be handled by his company. He then proceeded to call a clean up company (CPR) to help with the issue that was left behind. We decided to let the public adjuster deal with the situation since my parents had a good experience with a different public adjustment company in the past. Everything he said was far from the truth. The company staged my home to get maximum insurance reimbursement, took their portion of it, left all of the trash and staging at my home, deferred the companies that they hired and were supposed to take of to me and disappeared. Now I was stuck with the trash that the cleaning agency piled in my backyard and the bill for work that wasn't even done. This is one of the worst experiences with a company I have ever had. I tried calling the company several time but they always defer me to Jamal who conveniently sent me to voicemail each time.
Poor service
I hired Metro Public Adjustment after an apartment fire left me and my son homeless. I did have renters insurance.
Initially they were fine to deal with. As time went on, they were less and less responsive and actually ended up dropping my claim after Hurricane Sandy hit. I am now being sued by one of the vendors they recommended. I cannot get my Adjuster, Jamal Talib, a VP at the company, to return my calls or respond to my emails.
I would advise anyone to NOT use this company for any reason.

My aunt hired Metro Adjustment Inc. on Feb 8, 2023 to manage her claim. Metro agreed to manage my aunts water damage claim. From Feb 2023 my aunt couldn’t get any answers about her claim. Emails or phone calls were not responded to. I got involved in the claim because of my background in June 2023 and that’s when I told my aunt at some point she would need to cancel the contract because Metro adjusters (Bill and Katrina) was giving her the run around. They never produced any documents to support their work but took 35% of the first insurance settlement. They were to provide my aunt an estimate of damages compared against the insurance company’s estimate. That was promised July 10. It’s been 3 months and my aunt continues to be lied to and given the run around about the estimate. She’s out $32,000 which is 35% of the initial claims settlement but there’s been no services received from Metro to substantiate their 35% fee. Metro Adjustment Inc are not qualified to manage claims and I’m filing a complaint with my state’s insurance commissioner since the individuals are licensed to do business in my state of residence.
Crooks
Rotten crooks. Steve and his possie of thrives rake everyone over. Bill his ### assistant are out for themselves. They treat their adjusters like ### and always screw them. Men and women work very hard for this company only to be burned over and over. Work hard and expect them to screw you. If it means Bill or Steve can make more off of you. They will. Terrible business model and dishonesty will bring them down. No company can thrive with this going on. Stay away. Don't hire them. Don't work for them. They are awful. Inside out.

Waste of money
I recently used metro public adjusters at the suggestion of a friend. This friend was a employee of the company for about a month and recommended them to me. Of course for 30% of the fee of which he got a small percentage. And it goes up the chain just like the pyramid scheme that it is. Anyway it has taken over a year and 90% of the leg work on my part to get my check. The company and representitive are a rip off and you could do the same thing yourself. They pride themselves on getting you the most money and protecting you because you hire them. Beleive me nothing could be further from the truth. After numerous calls that never get returned. Lost paper work and blaming the problem on your insurance company. If it sounds to good to be true! Beleive me it is!

Should I or Shouldn't I
This is NOT a complaint but a polite suggestion to anyone reading the contents on this web site: Firstly I am NOT a Metro Public Adjusters employee. I attended one introduction presentation. There are both complaints and compliments about this company on this site. By all means read them if you wish to but before you arrive at any definite conclusion, don't...

Currently I am unemployed and I am seeking job. I respond to a Craig's List post about this job. After sending a resume, I got a swift response email that had time and directions and suite number for an "Orientation" . So I go there, there I asked one of the building workers were I could find the suite number I was given. he kind of half shook his head as he led me down to what seemed to be the basement of the building. I entered the suite and a women led me to a room for a presentation with about ten other people. We were all handed applications to fill out. We then were shown a video claiming insurance companies were these sick monsters out to rip you off. Then women came in and talked about wiping a sponge on the wall and if there's dirt on then there's smoke damage, now I get a little sketched out, Later on, the "Executive Vice President" entered the room. He talked more about how we can make all this money blah blah and it started to sound like what people used to say about Amway, I thought I might just be paranoid and I was really desperate for work so I stayed for the rest of this orientation and handed in my application. He then asked me if I can come in for training later on in the day I said "alright" but when I got home to check these guys out...Wow! I never have seen so many complaints reported online! I felt pretty awful about this and very angry. These worthless ### feast off of job seekers who are having a tough time as it is and wasting their time and trying to do what I now learned is a "MLM scheme" This is the most disgusting thing I have ever encountered. After doing my research, I am worried that they are going to lurking around my house and calling me up to sell me ###. I HOPE ALL OF THESE WALKING PIECES OF GARBAGE ROT IN HELL!

Scam
Metro Public Adjustment is one of the biggest scams going - not just for the homeowners they promise to " represent " and bilk out of millions in insurance money, but also the people they mislead with their recruitment rubbish. You are always much better off dealing with your insurance company on your own . You will get your money much faster and not be...

I implore everyone to reconsider using Metro Adjustment Inc for anything. I was wrongfully represented, bamboozled, while I was vulnerable and in a state of shock of the possibility of losing my home to fire. My insurance company awarded me $7779.00, when Metro and their cohorts got finished I received $714.00, I can not repair my property with what was left.

I foolishly answered an employment ad on Craigslist for this company. More importantly, I foolishly ponied up $40 for training materials, but once I realized I was not able to take the job and had not been trained, I could not get a refund of the money.
How do I know that Metro Public Adustment is a pyramid scheme? Three reasons and shame on me for not figuring all this out earlier. 1) They were completely uninterested in my past work history, my suitability for the job, my education, or any other criteria that legitimate employers look at. 2) My "recruiter", James Cash, revealed that he received points for each person that attended the training. 3) Mr. Cash promised to return the money after I asked him several times, but never did and never responded to a single phone message I left him or e-mail that I sent him asking him to follow up on his promise.
Additionally, Mr. Cash took several potshots at me in his e-mail in which he promised to return my money - un-called for and unproffessional.
Do NOT accept employment with Metro Public Adjusters - it is a a pyramid their recruiters/representatives are unpleasant and not people of their word.

It is the same compensation as Keller Williams reality actually, one of top 3 realtors nationwide.
Poor Service
Metro Public Adjustment was hired to repersent us for an insurance claim it took Metro over 7 months to get our claim settled and along the way they just kept taking more money from us to hire an independent and then an umpire to try and settle the dispute with the insurance co and during the entire process we were being reassured by the adjuster and the...
