Fraudulent Advertisement about their Refund Policy
Mindvalley advertises that all subscriptions can be refunded within 15 days of new purchases. After I subscribed, I wasn't satisfied with the courses offered. So I contacted them for a refund. Now they're saying if we make purchases through Google play app, they don't take responsibility for the refund. If that's the case they should have mentioned clearly. This is misleading
It should have been clearly stated in your advertisements. And also I made payment through your app and the only option I had was to go through Google Pay. You shouldn't have allowed payment through the app if it's a third-party transaction
Automatic subscription renewal without notification
I took out an annual subscription to Mind Valley in April 2020 for $399. I've just been billed for an automatic renewal of this subscription at a far higher rate of $598 and without my authority or authorisation. There was no prior notification of this charge with the option to review the subscription or the change in charge. Every other company or product I've subscribed to has always notified me ahead of taking payment, with the option to review. Instead, Mindvalley customer support is hiding behind WhatsApp messaging with standard cut and paste responses aimed at avoiding direct answers or refunding the money. The whole process lacks transparency and seems designed to fob customers off.
Desired outcome: Full refund of all money without bogus admin charges.

Unauthorized Automatic Renewal
Received a notice from Auto-Receipt/Authorize Net for $499.00 for automatic payment to MindValley. I've checked all my emails including trash and span, and there was no notification from Mindvalley. This was for a second-year renewal of their program/product membership.
I have not interacted with any Mindvalley service for over a year, and had completely forgotten it existed. I attempted to file an immediate "Request for a Refund" numerous times, but their "prompts" on how to correct this problem puts you into an endless loop of "how-tos" that do nothing without resolving the issue. The only "how-to" prompts that work are the ones to sign up for more services or add additional credit card info.
Yesterday, after working on this issue for more than an hour, and attempting to contact Mind Valley through their numerous support portals, I gave up, contacted my bank directly, and filed a formal dispute.
Desired outcome: I would like an apology, and a full refund.

Mindvalley auto renew subscription
I bought a years subscription to Mindvalley a year ago and knew it was going to expire soon. Although I have enjoyed the courses I am not in the same financial position I was in last year and could not afford to pay for another year. So I was happy to let it expire.
I was stunned to see an email telling me that I’d been charged for another year when I hadn’t authorised this. I scoured the internet for answers and it turns out they sign you up to an auto subscription without your knowledge. When I am notified upfront I always make a habit of cancelling these.
When you receive your welcome email there is a receipt attached. In small writing it states you are signed up to an auto subscription. To be honest, I never opened the receipt as I didn’t need to. The price I had been charged was correct and I had a receipt via PayPal. If I had read the receipt I’m not sure I would have even seen the line about the auto subscription. In my welcome email it states I had bought a one year subscription so that was all I needed to know.
I struggle to believe that auto subscriptions can be allowed for that amount of money and that companies are allowed to be underhand in informing you of this. The government guidelines around auto subscriptions advise companies that they should be transparent and send email reminders that this renewal is coming up. I did not receive any reminder emails.
I contacted their customer support over a week ago and have had no response. It just sends you messages from their virtual assistant.
Their cancellation policy states that you can cancel an annual subscription within 15 days but elsewhere on their website you find out this does not apply to auto subscriptions. Again I feel that this is misleading and not readily available and they say they refuse to give refunds.
I feel I have been mislead and would like a refund. Having this money come out of my account has put me in severe financial hardship.
Desired outcome: - Full refund- Transparency in your communication/policies- reminders sent to everyone about upcoming charges.
I contacted Mindvalley via the text function as requested in their reply. I had to fill in a short form and they refunded me instantly. I’m very happy with the outcome and how nice they were. I will definitely continue to use Mindvalley in the future.
False advertisement
On life event "Self Mastery Seminar" on 29th of January, Mindvalley founder Vishen Lakhiani said that program "Quantum Jumping" by Burt Goldman will be available for Mindvalley members in February.
I have contacted Mindvalley's customer support several times regarding this program and I have gotten various answers. All I know is that now is March and the program is still not available as promised on the live event mentioned above. Also apparently no one knows if this program will ever be available for Mindvalley Members or when will it be.
Really disappointed to be honest.
Desired outcome: Make "Quantum Jumping" by Burt Goldman available for Mindvalley members as promised.

I have been emailing the support in evercoach and mindvalley for the certification coach that is not in my programs anymore despite me paying for it for several times and still no response. I have requested it for months.
Mindvalley’s programs and speakers are the best but the customer service is super bad.
2022 year subscription
In January 2021, I bought a year's subscription to Mindvalley.
On 1/29/22, I was dismayed to see that I had been charged $499 for a new annual membership. I did not realize that Mindvalley had signed me up for auto-renew. Their website said that I would be notified 15 days before being charged. But I received NO such notification email. I looked through my junk mail and deleted items and did not find anything either. I immediately responded to the email ([protected]@mindvalley.com) saying that I did not agree to the order, but I never received a response.
It has been impossible to speak to anyone at Mindvalley. The only type of communication I could do required that I download WhatsApp. I submitted a complaint to Mindvalley's "Virtual Assistant" on WhatsApp on 2/5/22 but never received a response (today is 2/18/22).
I am in the middle of working on a dispute with my credit card company but am very frustrated that I should even need to do this. If I had received an email 15 days before the charge, I would have immediately logged in to get out of the auto-renew I didn't even realize I had been signed up for. But because I never received the email, I was not given the option. This is FRAUDULENT.
I was relieved to see that another customer, Claudia Morgan, posted to the Complaints Board on 1/28/22 with the exact same complaint and she received a refund. I can see this is a scam that Mindvalley has likely done to all of the people who signed up for annual memberships in 2021.
Desired outcome: I want Mindvalley to reverse the $499 charge that I did NOT agree to, and that I did not receive a notification I would be charged for.

Year subscription
Last January, I bought a year's subscription to Mindvalley. I was very surprised to see that, on January 6th of this year, I was charged $499 for an additional year's membership. When I went onto the website to investigate, I realized that the auto-renew function was enabled. Their website claims that you will be notified 15 days in advance of the automatic charge. I immediately went to my email to see if I missed a notification that I was going to be charged in advance. However, there was no such email. I checked my deleted items and spam - again, no email. When I spoke to a customer service representative (it was hard to speak to a human being), they responded that they "would look into it" but maintained that the charge would remain. I replied that this was fraudulent and in bad faith. How can I be expected to uphold my end of the deal (payment) if they do not uphold theirs? Eventually, I was directed to fill out a form to obtain a refund. However, three weeks on, I have not heard from anyone and the $499 charge remains on my credit card. According to the auto-renew laws in CT, "Seller must provide the recipient of products or services with a clear and conspicuous written notice that the recipient may cancel such contract.
For contracts for over 180 days the clear and conspicuous written notice must:
(1) Include the procedure for such cancellation;
(2) Be given at least 14 days but not more than 60 days prior to the earlier date of:
(a) the date upon which the contract will be renewed.
(b) the expiration of the time period for cancellation by the recipient."
Without receiving an email from Mindvalley to detail the above, they are in violation of the law.
Desired outcome: I would like a refund of the $499 and any interest accrued to my credit card as a result of this $499 charge.

Zero customer service
I downloaded the MindValley app on. 24th Jan 2022 and monies were taken from my account, but I have not be been able get past the first page to access the subscription, it will not accept my details and therefore cannot get an automatic refund.
There is no customer service only non human chats who cannot refund me.
Appealing zero customer service.
Desired outcome: Refund of membership fees
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer's satisfaction.
Double charged
My first issue is that I was double charged for my yearly membership after taking advantage of a "special." My next issue is that there is nobody to actually help me with my issue and I keep being redirected to the same unhelpful page. The "customer service" rep that did eventually respond didn't even review my account or complaint before telling me I needed to fill out a form.
Desired outcome: Actual help resolving my specific issue

Service
First, I spent hours trying to find a legitimate email address for MindValley with no luck. They offer WhatApp and Google Messenger but I do not use any of these. I searched forever to finally find an 800 # which welcomes you to mind valley and asks you to please leave a message only for it to disconnect you. I have the duality training that I paid for but now since they did a website upgrade recent (12/2021) I can see my training but there are locks on it and I am unable to open any of them which I'm supposed to have access to for a lifetime and NO ONE TO REACH!

Mindvalley membership
My mind valley account did not work on the app. I never was able to use it except that first week. A year later they just charged me $300 for it again. I have reached out to multiple emails trying to get a refund. No one ever answers. There is no phone number anywhere to find. I went to my account right after charged and the refund button that is supposed to be available the first 15 days was not there. Please refund and cancel my account i never got to use! Please! My email is [protected]@gmail.com paid through paypal .

Desired outcome: Full Refund

I would file a complaint every single day until they answer. If they don't answer report them to the better business bureau because that is what I will do if I don't hear from them.
Full access autorenew/ refund
Warning to anyone thinking of subscribing to mind valley: be aware that RENEWALS ARE NOT REFUNDABLE.
When you sign up, autorenewal is enabled, and if you loose track of the date and dont check your emails often, you will be charged as per the autorenewal setting. I noticed the charge on my credit card and requested a refund within the 15 day refund period. I was refused a refund because they "do not offer refunds on subscription renewals". The unfortunate thing is that this refund policy is not conspicuous to the customer. I acted according to the refund policy that is displayed upon sign up, and on the refund support page, but, in order to find the policy that states renewals are non refundable, you have to be on their website, go through their support page, and browse through the PURCHASE section. As I said, you will not find this information in the refund support section. This company has a history of refund screwery. They are a profitable company. I am under the assumption that their aim is to improve the well being of people signing up for their courses, but after the many attempts I made to resolve this mistake in as civilized and diplomatic manner as I could, I have determined what they are more concerned about is their bottom line. They said there is nothing they can do, I do not believe for a second that a company of this nature would legitimately be unable to do something to resolve this. I am now resorting to leaving bad reviews anywhere I can. I hope they will make it more clear that renewals are not refundable so more people wont run into this unfortunate issue. $700CAD wasted for me, $700 gained for a profitable company.
Desired outcome: Alter the refund policy to state that renewals are not refundable. Do not activate autorenew unless the customer selects it. provide me with a full refund

Zero customer support
For a company this big and with insane online prices one would think they actually have REAL customer support . Turns out all you get is a stupid robot to talk to. This makes it all seem like a bluff company. And I want my money back that you stole! You say my card is declined yet you take money from me without giving me a receipt of payment! That's stealing!
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer's satisfaction.
Advertising and billing process
Mindvalley has an advertising process combined with the subscription process which is unclear and ultimately works against the client. E.g. After watching an advertisement of a course on youtube " Wildfit", I liked the course and I decided to buy the course as it was one of the courses offered outside of the Mindvalley membership. Soon, I have discovered that I was billed for the additional membership- a surprise discount of 400 CAD. I clarified the situation and my membership was canceled, I received a refund at that time. Later, I was encouraged to use Mindvalley app on my Apple phone to get informed about other courses and to participate in a trial. One of the trial courses was " Tantra". I tried it, I didn't like it, I didn't move further than a second session... and... as I discovered (much later ) that I was billed for the course, 299 CAD. I do not recall if this course was also tied to the membership subscription. Yet, I am sure that the "Tantra " course appeared on my app ( it was not my choice or the result of my browsing). As around that time MR. Vishen was actively advertising his daily coaching. I blocked my apple Payments via PayPal. Yet, weeks later on some occasion, I removed the blockage. I was unaware that at that time Mindvalley charged my subscription of more than 700 CAD. As at that time I was in the middle of a serious family situation and preparing for a long journey, I didn't notice that my visa was charged. I noticed it much later. As I didn't use Mindvalley services since that time, I tried to contact the company in order to clarify and to resolve this issue. I reached out to pay pal, which refunded me 5$ for an ebook ordered in Mindvalley, yet never delivered, they clarified why one of the coaching courses ( offered also outside of the membership) did not appear on my Mindvalley site. I understood that I can buy some courses offered outside of the membership without having a membership. I was seeking clarification to all of it directly with Mindvalley ( support team, chat, email to contact Mr. Vishen)- all with no result. Mindvalley collected around 1000 CAD truth untransparent procedures and they there is no way to address it with them. Paradoxically they claim to be teaching about personal development.

Hello,

Lifebook online
I purchased Lifebook Online with the promise of a refund of the USD $500 payment should I wish at the end of the 6 week program. While I did enjoy the program, I did not see the worth in continuing and thus attempted the process to refund my payment. The utter lack of customer service and meaningful assistance to complete this is a true embarrassment for a company who dedicates itself towards individual betterment.
This issue has now spanned >1 month since submitting my request. I was given the link for refund via email and have submitted now 3 times with no verification or communication of receipt until 8/18/21. Still, the support team notes that no refund request was submitted under my name and threatens that I might no longer be eligible for a refund due to time passed since the program ended. However, what she lacked to acknowledge is the >1 month I have been consistently attempting to communicate with LifeBook/MindValley only to be in the same place as I started.
Again, if you are reading this, please take these many complaints on this forum as a fair warning before using these services. While the company is dedicated to self-development, I can assuredly say their customer service/billing department's actions are not consistent with this.
Desired outcome: Refund of Lifebook Deposit

Auto-renew non refundable policy
I understand that as a suscriber I am responsible for handling my account.
However, MindValley should take into consideration that many don't go to check the specifics of the subscription and in my case it was a huge surprise to find out that it had an auto-renew option. What I thought I bought was a 1 year subscription only and I knew it was going to end soon somewhere around June, so no more MindValley for me.
June 25, I was charged $499 for a new year. June 27, The moment I saw this renewal I wrote to customer support that I was not aware of the auto-renew and that I would like to revert this, cancel my subscription and revert the payment.
The answer I got from karol.priscilla.rodrigues.[protected]@mindvalley-61916e77a9d6.intercom-mail.com was: "you can cancel next year, Our subscription is like Netflix; to avoid the next month's charge, the cancellation must be made before the charge date"
First of all, Nextflix charges me $13 a month. And if I miss the cancelation date, I will have service for 30 days and will cost me $13. In this case, is 365 days and $499. Big difference.
I was informed that MindValley sent a reminder email, I didn't receive that email, because I would have canceled the subscription immediately
Also received from Karol a copy of my 2020 invoice where she highlights "billed automatically every year". May I say that those are the "little Letters" that no one reads.
I was ok knowing that I was not going to buy a new subscription because I didn't plan to do another quest and I haven't logged in in months, so no more MindValley for me was fine.
You should offer the cancelation and refund option the moment a client says I don't want to be charged for this or I didn't intend to renew, or I don't want to be a member any more, specially if it is a 365 days commitment and the client wants to opt-out at the beginning. My subscription was renewed the 25th, I checked my email the 27th and immediately said: please stop, please revert this. It should be possible. I'm not asking for a refund 2 months later, I did it two days after it happened, the moment I realized.
You know, like any other subscription or service, If I don't want the service you provide and I want to cancel it, you should cancel and give the money back, no questions asked. That would be lovely.
Right now I feel that I am being forced to stay in mindvalley for 1 year! and I don't want to. yes, I can just never log-in, but Mindvalley took $500 for this and I feel that I just have to find time (that I don't have) and start doing quests again, but I really really don't want to. should I ?.
why should I pay for a service that I don't want ?
Desired outcome: Cancel my membership from June 25th [protected]. Refund $499

Mindvalley Quest All Access
I wish to complain about Mindvalley Quest All Access that I purchased on May 29th 2020 for $300 USD as a once off payment because a discount was provided. I had no intention of renewing it as I really didn't get much out of it. I prefer to select courses they provide, that are of relevance to me. However, an automatic renewal was taken out of my account for $548.90 USD on May 29th 2021. I am complaining because I requested that the money be refunded, and they refused. They justified their refusal by likening their renewal system to a Netflix subscription.
Yet they constantly say that "if you are not happy with our products, just send an email and we will refund it no questions asked".
To resolve this problem, I would like Mindvalley to refund me the $548.90 USD that they charged my account.
My name is Lydia Morris and email is [protected]@mail.com
Desired outcome: A refund of $548.90 USD

I have been charged 3 times for a single yearly subscription
I have purchased a single yearly subscription on Mindvalley and paid by PayPal. Within minutes, they subtracted 603.79 USD three times from my account. I have complained over their chat bot, no one even read it. I have send email, no one replied. I managed to get one times 603.79 USD manually refunded following their online instructions, but the other two do not have the "refund" button on them, so I cannot refund myself. My purchase and cancellation (after I found this) was within the possible cancellation policy with full refund, but it seems that they will just play dead bug. I would like to get refund, which they promise and also apology for this pain (and fact that they are not even checking what their automatic payment system does for more than a week). Thank you for help and/or advice.
Desired outcome: I would like all my money refunded back to my PayPal (3 * 603.79 USD = 1811.37 USD)
I managed to get today finally through the customer service call centrum, and the lady was very polite and tried to help me. I assume the refund will happen asap. So, I assume this is resolved! Surprisingly painless - as soon as you actually manage to get through the customer service...
t took some time to get a human being on a phone in their call centrum, but as soon as I managed, the lady was very polite and apologised and refunded me. So, I have to say, I have a lucky resolved customer now. I wish everyone here the same luck!!!
