Retford Store
Free promotion for 4x free bud light 440ml not available and been out of stock Saturday, Sunday and tried again today Monday. Offer Ends tomorrow store advised unlikely they will get it in. Morrisons aware how many people they sent promotion to and not catered for amount or offered alternative substitute. I feel this is misleading customers with extra visits to store.

Freezer section
I visited the Whitefield branch this afternoon at 2.15pm. Amongst other items, we went to purchase frozen chips in a large freezer area and the freezer lights also turned off. We noticed the majority of the bags had defrosted; however they had been left and staff were making no attempts to either repair the freezer or warn shoppers not to buy these items.
This has also previously happened with tubs of ice cream, which we noticed had crystallised and resold.
We would appreciate your immediate attention.
Desired outcome: Repair freezerAlert shoppers not to buy defrosted items and remove as could be a danger to health.
Cafe at Stamford
Went into cafe at Stamford Lincolnshire on Thursday 24/11 for lunch. Oh my goodness what a state the place was in! Tables dirty not even wiped clean,no clean mugs, spoons , no sugar. Leaking water everywhere from a hiot drinks machine so unsafe as there was elderly ppl trying to get a drink and then having to step in the water. When told a member of staff came out with a dirty mop and mopped the water up only for it to be leaking again! Customers complaining to customer service but nthg done. Coffe machine out of milk such a mess everywhere.1 young lad serving felt so sorry for him he was trying his best but with no help.?Unfortunately I didn’t get his name but he’s a credit to the cafe. It was around 12.30 if if helps. Then to top it up as we left we told a young girl thst the machine was leaking again only for her to sigh at us! This place needs seriously sorting out!
Security guard
I went into one of your stores in Middlesbrough on the Friday 25th November 2022 at 17:59 as I can out of the customer toilets the security guard stopped me due to the alarm going off and he asked me to empty my pockets so I did and then I gave him my wallet to see if that was what made the Alarm go off and it was and ge accused me of stealing vapes that I hade in my pocket as I entered the store and he was very unprofessional
Desired outcome: I would like a formal apology for being wrongly accused
Kendal cafe
We arrived at 3.30 and ordered food using your self service. With 3 children it took time to decide and to place the order! We were then to be told we shouldn’t of been able to order the Christmas dinners! We ordered hot chocolate to be told there was none! Then we wanted to order the roast chicken dinners instead to be told there was no chicken! There was one young girl trying to deal with everything. We were told to sit down and someone would sortI’m the refund. Another lady brought out food. Put it on the table on the tray and then said”I’ll go sort your refund” so I had to dish out the meals and remove the tray. There were no teaspoons so I had to go and ask for one. The lady then returned and handed us a plastic spoon to open boiled eggs! The eggs were solid and the toast was black on the underside and I mean black! We complained and more eggs were brought but these were really under done! They poured out like water! If my child had eaten those I’m sure they would of had an upset stomach! The young girl was very helpful and the older lady was very disgruntled at each request! After checking my refund I realised that this was also wrong as it was missing the hot chocolate! My daughters 3rd lot of boiled eggs arrived as we just finished.
Desired outcome: I would like a response
Product service
No Large or XLarge Turkey CROWNS available to Christmas order.
I have been waiting to do a Christmas collection order and last week I eventually spoke to someone in customer services who said they’d be available to order from the 19th November.
I have checked every day since but they’re still showing unavailable.
When will you be making them available to order as I need to order as soon as possible to ensure my Christmas food is sorted.
Cook It - Chicken Kiev
We bought the above food item this evening from the Morrisons in Dalkeith, Midlothian.
After cooking we sat down to our evening meal and neither of us could eat this for the following reasons:
1. The meat appeared to be tough initially but one of the breasts had an awful aftertaste so we both stopped and cut open Kiev’s to find completely different meat consistency. One was very touch and the other appeared uncooked with a funny colour and after taste despite cooking for instructed time.
2. Not only this but the crumb was excessive and therefore covered up the poor quality of the chicken breast.
We are significantly disappointed in the quality and taste of this item, hence complaint.
G Neil [protected]@gmail.com
Desired outcome: To take this item off the perceived quality list
Armistice day anlaby store
We were in the cafe on Sunday 13 November before 11.00. An announcement was made that there would be a two minute silence at 11.00. We stood up to respect this and others did too. Unfortunately the advertising and background noises and announcements were not turned off, thus the two minutes respectful silence was not adhered to by Morrisons.
We were most upset and very disappointed at this lack of respect and disregard.
Desired outcome: A response of some sort.
Morrisons baked in store mince pies
Bought the pack of six baked in store mince pies on two occasions.
In both occasions the pies are uncooked on the underside. The first pack I returned and informers the store manager. The store manager agreed that the pies were raw and gave me a refund.
Bought a second pack today and the same thing has happened. Thought I’d notify customer services directly as the problem has nor been correctly addressed in store.
Calor gas bottle exchange No service
Today approx. 11am I phoned your petrol station at princess park for an enquiry for exchange on a 7kg Calor Gas Bottle. The lady I spoke to told me 31.50 and one was available. I asked if this could be put to one side and reserved under my name. I asked a neighbour if he would drive me ( as I have disabilities and do not drive) to collect this and he agreed. After a 5 mile drive I got to your petrol station and when I spoke to the staff member and told her I have reserved this gas bottle she told me that she could not find the key to the cage. I feel you have lost out on a 31.50 sale and this meant my neighbour had to drive another 7 miles to get a gas bottle as I needed this as it is my main source of heating. I feel you have waisted my time and my neighbours time and fuel. POOR POOR SHOW MORRISONS . I wonder how many more sales you lose.
Desired outcome: I would appreciate a responce.
No smaller trolleys
Since this last March 2022 , my Nearest Morrisons has no smaller trolleys at all. I have complained so much and they tell me that small trolleys are stolen all the time. I am an older person and i find the larger trolleys too much to walk with around the store.
Also since the Store (which is Westcroft ,M Keynes) i find there are no longer products that i want to buy especially as i need Gluten Free food. Today i wanted to buy some home cooked Ham and Turkey or chicken. I asked if these were gluten free and the assistant said they cannot be Guaranteed G/Free as its not saying what these meats are cooked with. Why is this info so difficult to find out about this sort of thing?
This store had a huge "Makeover" earlier this year ,and because its my nearest store i feel i want to shop there. But no more its all too difficult.

Desired outcome: Smaller Trolleys

Absolute shambles trying to work with a local organisation to receive treatment like this..
Obviously your customer service team have a license to do just what they want !
To insult a customer in this way
Desired outcome: To speak to director or manager
Order [protected]
Went in to amend my order yesterday afternoon. When I came to check out it say couldn’t be done at that time try again later. I repeatedly tried to make the payment. Rebooted iPad, tried it on my phone. I finally looked at my account details and realised it was probably the date on my credit card. Updated this and tried again but still wouldn’t go through. Contacte Morrisons on FB but their recommendations didn’t work Tried discarding changes and this seemed to work but then I receive a message this morning saying my shopping has been cancelled.
This should have been better flagged on your site with a request to update my payment means. This is what happens with any other company. I’m so annoyed over this, not the way to treat long term customers. Looking at my Morrisons account the updated card details are shown so I really don’t understand why this didn’t go through

eGift Card
My daughter redeemed a £150 Morrisons voucher through her company's reward scheme for me on the 24 October. On the 25 October I printed off the eGift card details she sent me with the intention of starting to use it in store at my local branch. eCard no. [protected] Pin 1731
Unfortunately I lost the voucher on my way to the shops and immediately phoned Morrisons customer services on [protected] to report it lost as I was worried someone might find it and use it. I was told that a block would be put on the card and that I would receive a phone back regarding how to get it replaced.
Nobody got back to me.
My daughter emailed customer services on the 28 October to advise what had happened only to be told that the card cannot be replaced if lost or stolen as per the terms of use (Case ref. CS8601747).
I was not told this when I reported the card lost and if I had would not have had the card blocked.
I am a 70 year old pensioner and it seems very unfair that my daughter and myself have lost out on £150 worth of voucher through her trying to help me financially in buying groceries.
Desired outcome: Compensation of £150 or voucher which can be used either online or in store.
Blackberries
Date: 30/10/2022
Time: 12:53:04
I bought some blackberries today and once getting home checked and found they were meant to be displayed until 28/10/2022, two days before I purchased them. This should not have been on the shelf, and I now have out of date food which I will not be eating. Complete waste of my money thanks to this store
These were purchased from the Chorlton-cum-Hardy store in Manchester
Service
We visited the Cwmbran Store on Saturday 29/10/2022 with my Husband.
The more I have thought about the experience we had, I feel that it warrants a Complaint.
I went to the Deli Counter to purchase some Cheese and Ham.
The lady got me a whole slab of Dragon Cheese, I then asked for 6 slices of Gammon Ham, because it looked nice and lean.
When I looked at Ham on scales there was a slice which wasn’t very nice,
so I politely asked the lady to take it off. She seemed annoyed at this and literally threw the slice of Ham on the counter that was behind her.
When she removed this slice the slice underneath was also not nice, so I said I didn’t want that piece either, she was not happy with this, and again removed it
and threw it on the counter behind her.
My Husband and I just looked at each other not knowing how to react to what we had just experienced.
My Husband and I felt really uncomfortable with her actions.
We took the Ham we had asked for and thanked her.
I have never in my life experienced this when I have gone shopping, it
was totally unacceptable the way we were treated.
We are both in our Sixties and never ever have we experienced such aggressive behaviour, for simply not wanting the awful Ham she thought we were going to buy.
We are sorry to have to complain but it needs to be brought to your attention.
Regards
Mr & Mrs Rowlands

Desired outcome: I don’t know how this awful experience can be resolved? We will await the outcome of Complaint, and take it from there
Plastic bags
The customer in the queue behind me yesterday was given half a dozen flimsy disposable plastic carrier bags for free. They were obviously intended for single use. The whole point of the plastic bag tax was to remove carrier bags from the oceans and land fill. Please watch the attached video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yaDx-WJAsaE I will be contacting Trading Standards about this. It's disgusting.
Desired outcome: An end to single use carrier bags and a return to proper re-usable bags
Customer service
I was using the self service tills in the Morrisons on new hythe lane near aylesford at around 09:10 on the morning of Thursday 27th October. The self service checkout i was trying to use was non responsive, so I decided to use another one. An employee (female 60’ish long blond/grey hair)went over to the faulty checkout and said in a condescending tone “what’s wrong with this one then?” I tried to explain that it wasn’t working but she continued being rude to me ,saying “look, it’s fine” even as I was successfully using an alternative checkout. It was a very unpleasant interaction
Desired outcome: Employee receives some customer service training
What a farce self service check out is at birtley, old people does not know how to use them, The staff have had many complaints about them ,was told it is progress one step forward 10 back, imagine going to one with a full trolley nightmare, nearing xmas the queues will be down the isles for a normal checkout, someone deserves a booby prize for coming up with this idea, the customers are not happy ,some are talking of going elsewhere as we are Aldi here we come,
Market street
I am a local resident to Morrisons at Kirkstall, Leeds. Unfortunately this is my nearest supermarket and only because of time restraints, I am forced to use this supermarket. Trust me when I have more time and use other supermarkets whenever possible. I visited Market Street, Roast Chicken section today. I stood at the counter while 2 other members of staff served the Kebab section. No one was serving at the Roast Chicken section. The 2 members of staff were serving 2 separate customers. Once they had served those customers, they moved onto the next 2 which had arrived at their section. Meanwhile myself and 2 other customers are still stood waiting to be acknowledged and served. After 10 mins of waiting I had to lean over the counter and asked if anyone was going to serve? I was ignored. 2 ladies came from behind the counters, 1 of them being a manager. I asked them if anyone was serving. The manager said I'll get someone in a minute, I'm busy and walked off. A few mins later of the 2 women came back and served. The manager put her phone by the lady serving me, and walked off. No apology. She then came back and said (without looking at me) Ive given you 20% off, and walked away.
The level of customer service shown by the manager is far below and expected standard in such a large brand, and particularly in a very customer faceing role. Why are 2 members of staff serving in the same area and ignoring other customers. Why isn't there at least 1 member of staff for each section (I'm guessing staff costs). So why isn't there 1 queue for the whole of Market Street. That way customers would be served quickly and efficiently. Not left stood at an empty counter being ignored. This isn't my first complaint about staff at Market Street.
I would like to clarify that my issue isn't with John or the lady supervisor, both of which have dealt with the situation in a professional manor.
My issue is with the manager, the system and the fact that a total of 3 members of staff ignored customers.
In order for Market Street to continue and grow, staffing levels need to be addressed. Customer service training needs to be quickly improved. Staff need to be aware and acknowledge that customers are stood at different sections waiting to be served. I'd rather be asked 5 times if I'm being served, than being ignored by staff. The manager of this section needs to be assessed too. The can't grow and improve the section if their leadership skills are lacking. The way the manager dealt with the situation was again far below acceptable.
I hope these issues are dealt with for the sake of Market Street.
What is interesting is to see the amount of people using this section of the supermarket have dramatically dropped since it first opened...Perhaps Morrisons need to ask why?
