I don`t know how they get away with it but Morrisons treat their staff like 2nd class citizens especially the bosses. There are so many department managers supervisors etc who have stepped down because of the pressures and stress put on to them. The turnover of staff is rediculous and nothing is ever done to find out why this is. When one female boss left one store to come to another the original store held a party to celebrate. Nasty is not the word for this person and she must hold a record for the amount of staff who have left, stepped down or just for being in tears because of her and on a daily basis. Theres been many a complaint about her but she`s still there and must be the most despised person on the planet. Does anyone else have employers like this?
Morrisons the worst company for bullying and intimidating staff, highest turnover of staff and sickness levels due to stress. Why does head office not do anything about this? Because its all about making money no matter who gets upset or hurt. We had a customer die in our cafe last week and they wouldn`t even close the cafe whilst paramedics were trying to revive the poor man but he was already dead and customers were still buying meals. Both staff and customers were appalled by this. Horrible company horrible management all over the stores n0t just in one store, this bullying is rife
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
when working over your allocated hours because they do not have enough staff employed to complete stocking the fixtures with stock do they still give you "time back" instead of paying you the overtime .and when you tried to take the time back time off you could not as no staff to cover you.this happened to us on the night shift at blackpool store for many years to sum it up it was working overtime without being paid.thank god not working there anymore and you all have my sympathies for working with such a dispicable underhand and incompetent management regime they employ.
I have been in Retail for 17 years now both management and entry level positions. Morrison's in Lutterworth I have been with for 2 months now and working night shifts it has been a real eye opener. Bullying staff is just the start and in all my working years have never come across poor untalented managers/supervisors like this. I have witnessed one chap with 10years service bullied to a point daily until he was constructively made to resign. I was called into the office with 2 others for poor standards of facing up and lack of speed, bearing in mind we have a relaunch in a day. My standards are exceptional and know its down to pressure from above but sorry no one deserves to be treated with lack of respect and spoken to like they are worthless. I made a point that one new appointed night managers spoke to me constantly in a derogatory way and their reply was, she is new...lol so that warrens it ok ! will put it in writing to HR as sorry there are some real issues that cannot be overlooked
I'm sick of personell mangers having a go at me for something that's not my fault just been told today I shouldn't have a locker and I should wash my own tops for work so why did they give me a locker in the first place the place is a [censor]ing joke I'm going to claim industrial injuries see how the like That it's they fault my back is knackered and they have a cheek too start on me I'm going can't hack this [censor] nomore
I've have just left after 10 years service in the last 12 months things have defo changed for the worst. We've aĺways been understaffed but never bullied and been spoken to the way I've been. A manager was stood only 2 foot away from me and let a shoplifter get in my face nose to nose and threaten me ... managers response... nothing he let it happen and so did other senior staff members on looking ... where was the guard ? We didn't have one coz they won't pay for one to cover the whole amount of time we were open. Further more a conversation a few days later with a duty manager thought it was ok to say that the manager was ok to stand there and not do a thing and it was my own fault WTF Morrisons is going to the dogs Ken Morrison would be turning in his grave to see this happen to his company .. we lost 15 member of staff in the last few weeks and all of our checkout team leaders because of bullying duty managers ...altgough they've done me a favour because I'm now starting a new job with a lot more money, I do however feel sorry for the rest of them that are still working there ...
I work at a branch in Essex. One particular T/L in checkouts is a devious bully who covers it up by calling people darling and putting his arm round their shoulders, The women on checkouts are too scared to speak up so this continues. Apparently they had a letter from someone pointing it out but this was not acted upon. They should speak to people in private and in confidence but ehre is so much gossips and back biting, nothing is confidential. Shame on you Morrisons.

Further to my letter dated 9th March and the meeting on 10th March, I have consulted with ACAS again and I write to advise that I am unhappy with the outcome of this meeting. Despite requesting in writing that a formal grievance be implemented, the informal meeting took place in an endeavour to rectify the problems. The fact that I was not allowed to go through all the points in my letter due to “not enough time”, has diminished my side of events. The fact that he claims to be young and still learning (at 32) and the fact that you told me he had been bullied as school are not relevant to the case. As someone who has apparently been bullied he should know not to do it to others. He has been put in a position of power and trust and he has abused these by his bad behaviour on several occasions.
No robust resolution was put in place to prevent a recurrence of Sam Meddle’s aggressive and bullying behaviour. Your suggestion that if it happens again I am strong enough to confront him is inadequate and inappropriate bearing in mind his reaction to you in the office before I even entered and his explosive and erratic behaviour on the shop floor. Even if he is being nice at the moment as you said he would, this does not give me confidence that he will not do it again or even target someone else .
There is also a strong element of unfair treatment here, a record of improvement for me but nothing for him. This unfair treatment in itself is a form of bullying Also I reiterate that I have not even seen the record of improvement or been furnished with a copy of it.
As the Employer Morrisons have a duty of care to employees and a liability to protect them from such treatment and deal with it effectively.
As I said in the meeting and in my letter, the way that this entire episode has been handled has been in the very least bad practice and your comment that only one Manager has been trained to deal with these situations clearly indicates a massive training issue and leaves a wide gap for error, misjudgement and ineffective resolution.
Had his previously reported behaviour been dealt with effectively, then this would not have happened. To just keep having a word with him has proven ineffective.
I now insist that this is dealt with as a formal grievance and some kind of mechanism be put in place to manage his anger, aggression and bullying.
Please do not again try to convince me otherwise.

At 1, 30pm I visited the ladies toilets in store at Castle Bromwich. In the 3 toilets available none of them had any toilet paper, on checking the data sheet it hadn't been signed from 7.00 am, think this is totally unacceptable.

Hi i visited your store at Ealing broadway yesterday at 8pm to buy pizza Last 2 times i take my pizza without mushroom coz the stuff told me no stock, but Thursday 03-08-17 the stuff told me mushroom and bread out of stock, when i told them i will complain the service they told me if i come back after 5 mints they will arrange.
I work outside and within a week they have put me in to do a Sunday has they know I opt out of Sunday working and I am sick off tell them about that so I am not work this Sunday so I have done this before I am not going in to do it and I am not going to tell them I am not going to do it and I will lose 5 hours off my 16 hours contract
I'm not clear why you cannot poach eggs fresh the store. What you end up with are hard boiled eggs.

After opening and warming up the product. the soup was dished up into two separate bowls and at the bottom of one dish a large Rubber Broken Seal was found.

I did work as a lgv driver at Sittingbourne rdc. But recent shift changes upset not only me but most of the drivers. The office manager on nights couldn't care less about people's problems, so, after being employed for nearly 10 years I was forced to resign due to non care.

I bought a 10 pack of bacon at Morrisons Starbeck today. Got home. Went to make bacon sandwiches for lunch. The bacon was semi frozen. It was on the chilled section. Never, ever has this happened before. Who freezes bacon and sells it as chilled. Absolutely furious.
Bought the best range, Somerset butter roast chicken breast two packet is this product, what a waste of my money couldn’t get a slice out it all broken up and the chicken was very wet . So dissatisfied as bought this as a treat.
We received chicken nuggets and chicken dippers but did not receive chicken poppers

I have been to Morrisons Loughborough today went for a wheelchair trolley was told there was none available as there r on order which meant we had to leave and to another supermarket I feel that this is unacceptable under the disability act
I have been over charged with these products! My receipt says a different price to the price shown on show.
This is not the first time it’s happened with this specific MORRISONS!
I would like this issue resolved.

Bag of salad as pictured bought in Totton store yesterday 21st Oct
On emptying bag of salad into bowl it was apparent that there was a rubbery ‘finger’ presumably from a machine within the pack
We sat in the cafe for 45 minutes waiting for a breakfast. The lady who came to the table was lovely and apologised as they couldn’t find the order in the kitchen she did give us a free cup of coffee. However when the breakfast came it was cold dried up and inedible absolutely disgusting! This was at 12.50 on the 23rd October 2022

During delivery driver noted one bottle of beer broken. Refund still not in account.

Short measure of petrol at swadlincote morrisons on 19 November 2022, I paid for £20 petrol, the gauge on my car went up only one bar, following day I tried sainsburys I put in £10 and I went from two bars to four bars ! I have been suspicious for about six weeks about morrisons petrol I will phoning them tomorrow.

I bought a packed of 6 sugared ring doughnuts , when I got them home I found them to be a no filling full doughnut the ring was missing as was the sugar.. the only bit of this that’s right is the 6 and the word doughnut .. they are not ring and they are not sugared
