Hello my name is Yessica Pinedo I made a reservation [protected] for the following days [protected] two nights check out Sunday morning, am from San Diego so me and my 2 Boys one of 2 and 9 years old and husband so we arrived at 1 pm call the hotel ask if we could check inn they told us it was ok so we arrived I walk inn there was just one person helping in the front desk his name Sam he said give me ID and a card and going to charge you so I did I told him my name is Yessica Pinedo I did reservation online he said yes yes am checking my email for conformation number and his talking and he tosses my cards on the desk I stop doing what am checking on my phone I told him Sam plz do not just toss my things like that he got very upset he told me if you don't like it get out of here I don't take [censored] from you lady I said no you don't toss my things like that he said I do what ever I want am the manager here so if u don't like it get out screaming at me I told him no am driving from San Diego with 2 kids in the car long drive 8 hrs I told him he said I don't care I told him am calling the police he said am canceling your reservation am am putting you on do not welcome list so police came he told police his manager he does what he wants he did not want me there very sad a person like this should not be in charge police officer help me and my husband find another hotel since we are not from San Francisco we made it safe to another hotel, I hope u guy's do something about this problem no person should go trud this it's not write thank you for reading this as I hope something well be done.

We stayed at motel 6 in Altoona iowa. The motel rooms smelled overwhelming with must/mold. Our floors were seeping water. We changed rooms 4 times with no change. We paid cash for the rooms for 2 days so we were stuck there. We had to go to Walmart and buy air freshener and scented candles. Opened the window so we couldn't run the air conditioning. Which by the way my husband cleaned out(disgusting). These rooms were unfit for people and we should have been offered a refund from the start. The clerk acknowledged that she has this issue with patrons everyday and that the hotel is very bad. So why keep it operating? I want my $285 back. Most miserable stay ever! This motel needs shut down!

Bugs got in food before we could crawling on bed at nite''SO BAD WE GOT UP AND LEFT''Pleast rectify this problem or I will post to social media (with pics) Motel register has my contact info.The appearance of the room on first glance was o.k.then the spread on one bed had blood stains on the bottom side, carpet also had stains and a hole in the bathroom wall where it appeared the door had been slammed through the wall. THE ROOM SUCKED ESPECIALLY CONSIDERING THE PRICE WE WERE CHARGED AND WOULDN'T EXCEPT MY CREDIT CARD!

Floor was not swept or mopped, left side of toilet at bottom was nasty, all corners had not been mopped well for awhile. Shower stale had beard hair, long hair on walls, wrong commode lid, ac barley worked, but once i cleaned the filter worked. We just left a Marriott at $105.00 a night...to $70/ a night...they defiantly need housekeepers here or the manager needs replaced. I am a food and beverage manager . I would never order food from here because of the condition of the room. Ive stayed at several motel 6 across several states...this by far is the worst in cleanliness. Not only have the prices gone up ridiculously high compared to other hotels in the area. The rooms were horribly dirty, they smelled of cigarettes and weed, and were all just too nasty to ignore. I say rooms because after my initial complaint about the disgust in the room, they gave me another room that was just as bad as the first. I couldn't even stomach staying the night.

My son in law and I stayed in the Ogden Utah Motel 6 and was so scared we slept with loaded guns. Crack heads were everywhere and up all night long walking the floors and halls. Time to shut this hotel down! We trade a trailer and had to park it so close to a fence it was so no one could easily open it although it was padlocked what a waste of $50 some dollars. First of all rooms are filthy with mold inside the bathroom and the shower. Then Alexis at the front desk is very rude with a bad attitude. In one of my rooms there were roaches. The rooms stink badly. Room service came to my room with a cigarette in her mouth. There weren't any towels available when we needed them. There was no accommodations or amenities such as a refrigerator, microwave, or an iron. If I had to give a rating overall rating it would be a negative-1 star. Pathetic and worse hotel experience ever in life.

I checked in and find out the pool was out of service. Something we weren't expecting because I called the day before. (Driving from Cypress, Tx). I asked if I could stay one night and not have to pay the second so we could find something with a working pool. Lady at front desk said no. I try to enter with my bags and one card isn't working at the entrance. I enter the hall and it's covered in debris. (Not vacuumed). I get into my room and the fire alarm is hanging off the base. I have a missing fitted sheet. They said they had no more. Second day I asked for more towels. They said they could look for more but they were out. Head board fell from the bed. Wall plugs weren't working for charging our phones. We went to utilize the microwave and it was disgusting. Toilet won't flush.
I have pictures upon request. I have stayed at other locations before and this is amazingly bad!
bed bug bites
Stayed at Motel 6 Kalama Washington on June 29 and 30th. Room was filthy, air conditioner and refridgeratoer did not work, trash was left in the bathroom and behind fridge. Holes in the blankets, hair on towels and blankets, outlets didn't work we'll. Asked for another room and they said there was no rooms available. Wasn't sure what bit me and was told it was bed bug bites. Asked to speak to the owner and manager said that all he could do is forward my message and we still have not anything yet. I will never stay at another motel 6 again. I would pay more money for a better hotel or motel.

I made reservations online and sent request for early check in as i am disabled and had pets. When i called to make sure we could check in early, i was there were no rooms available and that it would be about 2 hours til one was. The reservation was for 1 queen smoking. 2 1/2 hours later after sitting in the Sun, and my pets as well we were then told check in was not til 3pm. I am disabled it was 100° outside. I requested early check in, i called at 11am and was told 2 hours which i understood as ppl were checking out. She knew I was disabled, she knew I had pets, she knew we were sitting outside in 100° heat. And after 21/2 hours she decides to make us wait, not because there wasnt a room available but she said check was 3pm. I did what I should have, requested early check when reservation was made, i called in advance and we waited 2 1/2 hours before asking if we could check in. She was rude, totally uncooperative, and had absolutely no compassion or empathy for my disability, my pets and the fact that we were sitting outside in 100° heat. I have stayed here numerous times and have never had a problem or been treated so rudely and unprofessionally. It is now 2pm and we are still outside and have been for almost 3 hours.

Yes smoking room, when was last time it was aired out and cleaned burned cover on bed, nasty floors and Cobb Webb's all over the place smoke detector cover not on and unplugged non of the outlets worked in the room could not blow dry hair told front desk clerk she informed me the manager was off and someone would contact me no contact would never stay at another one worst place I have ever stayed
very gross room
I reserved a non smoking room and when we got to the hotel at 4pm they said our room was not ready. Came back an hour later and they gave our room to someone else and all they had was a smoking room so we had no choice but to take it after a very long drive from Michigan. The room stunk sooo bad and the sheets had burn marks and so did the bed covers. I couldn't sleep all night because of the smell. I want a refund for that night from hell. Plus the guy in the room next to us was dealing drugs from it all night long. This has made me never want to go back to Utah ever!

7/7/18-7/9/18 Room was not ready when we arrived around 1:30, they put us in the handicap room, no coffee pot, no ashtray for smoking and room was not as on website. Crack in ceiling, bathroom was not clean, mold in shower around the tile. The air conditioner looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a while. I would like a refund if at all possible, I did try to find the manager while there and could not locate them.
the whole stay was horrible
I walked into the hotel to check in and the guy at the front desk barely acknowledged me and just kept talking on his cell phone. I said I need to check in and he told me I couldn't they had other things to take care of and I should come back in 30 minutes ( this was after check-in time). I went back in when i noticed other people were getting rooms. He gave us a room and we get all our stuff and head up to the room. We walk in and the room isn't even clean. There is cigarette burns every where and it is supposed to be a non-smoking room. We notice there are only 2 towels and we are a family of 4 so we go ask for more towels and they told us they didnt have any. Mind you this was day one. We get in the pool the next morning and we go to ask for more towels and still told they don't have any. So my family of 4 is sharing 2 towels to dry off after the pool and shower. We were here 2 days and never did receive any more towels. The staff was so rude, the pool had maggots floating in it, the room was so dirty, the sink was stopped up the whole time, and there were people outside at all hours of the night being extremely loud and doing who knows what. I was so uncomfortable here. I didn't expect a fancy place because of the cheap price but I do expect something as basic as a towels so that I can shower!

We stayed at this Motel 6 June 27th and 28th. When we checked in we were not given a room with a couch (we needed it for our son) so I went to ask why and to let them know our fridge was leaking and not keeping cold. I was told that we couldn't have a room with a couch even though I called and asked if they were available before I reserved our room. One lady said that our room was cheaper than the one with the couch, then I was told that all rooms are the same. Which does not add up because if I'm getting put in a cheaper room, why isn't the price the same? Not to mention I reserved the room ahead of time and was told when I called that it would be available. Right when we come into our room, there was a puddle of water on the floor that the staff did not deem worthy of concerning ourselves with until we asked them to clean up. She told us the fridge worked after checking the plug, we had to keep a bucket of ice in it to keep our milk cold. The room had holes in the walls, the bathroom was nasty and tiles were falling off the wall, the walls had white patches all over the place and they were not clean, the dumpster was overfilled with trash. We checked out a day early after my son found roaches crawling around the beds. They did refund us the money for night of the 29th but I want my money back for the other nights. My son had to sleep at the bottom of the bed for two nights because they couldn't make reservations correctly and we didn't get to fully enjoy our trip. Please email me about resolving this issue. on 7/7/18 I stayed in Motel 6 on Fontaine road in San Jose Ca paid in advance and manager refused to allow me to stay with no reason. Her name is Nancy. The room was paid in advance with my card and staff welcomed me but she gave me no explanation with not proof that I was a disturbance. Their was a fire alarm and I panic the day before but no disturbance from me I was quiet and cordial. I had already stayed there for 2 days. I fond roaches in room 240 and Nancy the manager gave me a free room one more day. I got along with staff good and her.

We've stayed at many motel 6s across the US . We have always been pleased with the quailty of the motels and the service we get. They have always been at an afforable price for a nice place to sleep at night, because that's mostly all we do at hotels on vacations. But this one was horrible! Front door didn't close all the way without some force behind it making it close. When going into the bathroom there was a hole in the floor they had just covered up with the newer flooring. There was so much dirt and grim on the inside of the door, no telling how long it hadn't been washed in. We had a family of 4 and they only wanted to give us 2 towels to shower with, both nights we were there. Finally my husband went to the front desk after they sent my daughter back with 2 towels and said thats all they had and asked them for the corporate # and they said there isn't on and gave him 2 more towels. A couple rooms down from us some people were smoking weed because we could smell it as we walked by there room to go to the front desk and let them know that people were doing drugs and pouring alcohol all over the sidewalk and outside fist fighting on the sidewalk, all of this is taking place about 1am. Along with screaming, cussing, and after we informed the front desk the asked what room and went to the room looked at the door walked away and did nothing. This happened the 1st night we were there, they were still there the 2nd night and 3rd day when we left. We tried calling the front desk, but the phone in the room didn't work, so we had to walk up there and report this and they did NOTHING, my children were with us because we were on a vacation trying to enjoy ourself. Mini fridge smelled like fish and the freezer part was a huge frozen block of ice. When I booked online it said they had washers and dryers on premises and when we arrived we asked them about them and they said they didn't have any washers/dryers. We needed washers/dryers to wash our clothes we were going to the beach everyday. I wouldn't have booked it if it was falsely avertised and said they had them and they didn't. Most of the channels on the t.v. didn't work at all. Asked for a blow dryer, since all hotels have them and they said they longer give them out to customers. Cleaning lady/ front desk people every shift were very rude. This motel 6 needs alot of work done and isn't nowhere close to the price I paid to stay here. I don't like complaining, but it was all too much. Something has to give at this motel 6. Never have I had these problems before and hope I don't have them in the future. Although I will never stay at this motel 6 again I hope Iam done right, so I that I will continue to stay a different motel 6s. We tried to enjoy our vacation, but it was so hard with so much going on at thd hotel. Couldn't get a refund, so we were stuck there for the 2 nights that we had already booked.
deplorable motel
We can NOT understand how it is that Motel 6 is still in business. We booked a 3 night stay at Motel 6, from Expedia, for Motel 6, 258 Harry Ln Blvd, Knoxville, TN 37923 to stay at while on a trip to Smokey Mountains and it was full of transient looking people that lived in the rooms. These same people would go into the pool with their street clothes on. They were allowed to stay in the pool until midnight. There was a transient sitting 3 foot from our filthy room door with his guitar, the kind of person you would see on a street corner begging. The tub was moldy, the walls had what looked exactly like some sort of human fluids or animal fluids on them. Made us want to puke. The air conditioner was going on and off all night, we had to keep waking up to fix it so it would turn back on being that it is July and very hot and humid in Knoxville at this time of year. The next day the toilet ran over and would not go down and we called the man at the front desk, Michael, who should NOT be interacting with customers due to how he looks as if he has a disease because his finger was cut off and his bones were sticking out of his finger, it was horrifying. His elbow has a raw bone sticking out of it also. He looked as if he was ready to be cremated. We told him the toilet would not go down due to being clogged or something and he told us he didn't have a maintenance man so I asked for a plunger and he said he had none. we went to ask for a refund because we can NOT stay in a motel that was this deplorable and he said for us to just turn around and leave. So we turned around and went to the nasty room and we got our things and we left. We were very distraught that we were treated in a bad way. We paid for 3 nights, stayed 1 night and only got 1 night refunded. I am grateful we at least got 1 night refunded, but that was after our friend, who is from Knoxville went in and asked him for a refund. She talked like a person from Knoxville and she said it was her Southern charm that convinced him to refund us the 1 night. It seems the people around Knoxville don't want visitors in or around their city. I will keep my money away from there and NEVER again go to any Motel 6 for the rest of life no matter where they are located they all seem to have the same reputation. Motel 6 is NOT for the normal vacationer or traveler. And do NOT believe what you see in the photos they post for their motel and rooms. These are very DECEIVING!

As I read these reviews, I realize that my "stay" was just as bad as many reported here. I was at the end of a long trip from FL to VA, and just could not make it further than Lumberton, NC. Decided to stay at the Motel 6, as it was right off the highway. All the non-smoking rooms were booked, so I took a smoking room. Big Mistake! First of all, it was on the back of the motel, next to an unkempt field, where there were many vagrants hanging out, a large man in a white panel van doing a drug deal, and people milling about. When I entered the room, the smell of smoke was as thick as a small fire. The bed spread had several burn marks, and stains, and crusted spills, or God knows what else. There was one outlet that had the TV, microwave and lamp plugged into it. There were holes in the walls of the room and bathroom. The bathroom ceiling was wet water stained and leaking. The shower was nasty as was the commode, and floor was warped. I was NOT going to sit on the bed, so I pulled out a chair, and attempted to call the front desk. The phone face plate was missing, and you could see the innards of the phone. The receiver was caked with ear wax, or ten years worth of grime. YUCK. I tried to turn on TV. Did not work. Braved the risk of using phone to call "0". The front desk clerk explained the 2nd room over was using a hot plate to cook, and it keeps blowing out the TV and electricity. I went back to the front desk and told them I wanted a different room, not on the back, because I was afraid of the room, the electric going out, and the drug deals going down in the back of the place. She seemed to know what I was going to ask before I reached the desk. Even though I am disabled, I agreed to a second floor room. I have a lower back issue and can't climb stairs very well, especially with luggage. First room was #111. The second room was not much better. I slept with all my clothes on, kept my luggage zipped and in the shower stall. (No bed bugs in the shower). I pushed the desk and chair up by the door, and slept with my knife under the pillow. I did not shower, brush my teeth, or wash my face in the morning. I only used the commode because I was about to burst. This was the MOST DISGUSTING motel I have EVER stayed in. I would have walked to another hotel, but the folks I was traveling with were already asleep. DO NOT leave the light on for me!

I am a previous employee over there my complaint about this motel is you have a GM who is still in money underneath the owners nose without him knowing you have housekeepers that don't care about the cleaning list of the rooms bed sheets are not being changed things are not being properly done at this establishment and it's all because the GM Ms Joyce is not letting people do their job like it should be done you have employees that ride the clock all the time and don't do anything you have a maintenance man that tries to do his work but he is so high on drugs and does drug deals on the property that he can't get no work done because there's no money being put toward things that need to be repaired why because the GM Ms Joyce takes the money out of petty cash and says that she's buying supplies and doesn't return the money Until she gets paid on payday but then there's no supplies but there's no receipts that should be accounted for there's a lot of iffy stuff going on at this establishment and I believe as a previous Employee that things need to be looked into because no one is telling the owners what needs to be done what needs to Happen things are being stolen out from underneath of this man's nose and he doesn't know anything about it
I worked at the establishment a year and noticed everything and I got fired because when I spoke my opinion about things she didn’t like it. So she gets rid of the people that is a threat to her because of how it is being ran.

We tried to stay at your motel 6 in North Medford and we had to leave. They allow people that were outside on drugs cussing and making scenes. I had my daughter with me and it was gross the stuff that was going on. We also hot told it will take 21 days to get a refund. That is ridiculous. I will never stay at one of your hotels again.
The lady was nice about it but why they let people like that stay there is beyond me. Your motels used to be the go to motel and now it's turned into a low budget motel
