Complaint: I just returned from an entire day at Mr. Tire. I called this morning at 10am asking if Mr. Tire could provide oil and tire rotation service to my car and was told yes and to bring the car in. The location: Liberty Road, Baltimore Maryland, [protected]. I arrived at 10:50am and spoke with Ray Davis who told me that it would take 2 hours. I said fine and informed them that I would wait while the car was serviced.
Admittedly, there were people in the waiting room...I waited for hours while everyone in the waiting room cleared out. I then continued to wait while the waiting room proceeded to fill up with a second group of people. While waiting, no one spoke to me to give me any updates on the status of my car...I assumed that the car was taken in and being worked on. I inquired at 2:00pm, and Mr. Davis said he "hoped" it wouldn't be too much longer.
At 4:45pm, I approached Ray Davis and informed him that I needed to leavee for another appointment and wanted to know how much longer it was going to take. he responded that maybe they could take me another day, and then proceeded to hand me back my keys. i then realized that they had NOT EVEN TAKEN MY CAR IN YET. INSTEAD, THEY HAD TAKEN IN CARS FOR THE NEW GROUP OF PEOPLE THAT CAME IN LONG AFTER I WAS THERE.
I don't know what went wrong, but I CERTAINLY KNOW THIS WAS NOT MY FAULT. The only thing he said was sorry...he could have at least been honest with me and told me his original estimate of time was incorrect and given me an update so I could have decided if I wanted to stay longer or leave so my day wasn't wasted. Mr. Davis did not offer an explanation, would not provide me with a card...didn't even offer me discount, much less free, service if I were to come back. To add insult to injury, when I left and got to my vehicle, the rear tire had gone totally flat!
How I was treated was unacceptable by any reasonable person's standards.
