At 17h43 20th/02/2024 I called multichoice and have indicated that I would like to change my package from one decoder to another.
I have a PVR and I wanted to change my subscription from decoder with serial number [protected] to PVR serial number A303222475. I gave the consultant the correct serial number where the decoder should move to extra view then the consultant deliberately used the wrong decoder serial number [protected] so that the compact on that decoder cannot be cancelled so that I can pay for two subscriptions at the same time plus the extra view that doesn't work because because the decoder is dead. When I realised that unlawful act I called back and this time no one answering my calls on [protected] at 18h55. This information can be listened to in the recording. Now I have two subscriptions of the same thing and consultant pretended as if there is something wrong with installation even though I told her that the signal is 100%. She knew that she connected the wrong decoder on extra view.
The Multichoice doesn't want to cancel the subscription when you tell them to cancel. They say you should schedule for cancellation although you as the consumer you realises that you are not going to afford the subscription. When you schedule it the next month they come up with excuses so that they continue to bill you.
This conduct of Multichoice must come to an end. It is kills the consumers. I have information that I tried to downgrade my service for three months and when you try to downgrade the consultant all of the sudden has a problem with a line and do all sorts of tricks to avoid a downgrade.
When you go to the branch you are not going to be assisted to downgrade as well. we as the consumers we don't know where are we going to be assisted to downgrade if not on the phone and not at the branch. Surprisingly when you upgrade it is done as soon as possible.
