We stayed at westwinds 4786 from May 11th-19th of 2021. Our trip cost (only condo) was $4402.94. We first walked in and were greeted with a pungent smell. We ran the water as we thought water was stuck in the traps. When we were running the water, 2/3 sinks were clogged with hair that started coming up from the drain and there was still shaved hair left over on sink tops and the vanities. Obviously, were not sanitized properly (if at all)! My wife is pregnant and it is unacceptable to have unsanitary cleaning, especially with COVID. -There were 3 holes that were cut drywall for some sort of construction? -The dishwasher did not work -The ice maker did not work. -The bath water was barely lukewarm at best. Repairman came (no PPE) and fixed 1/2 sinks and said he couldn't do anything about the appliances or water heater. Due to the lack of PPE and my wife being pregnant, this trip was highly unsatisfactory, unsanitary, and poorly serviced. Health was definitely a concern!

Had to cancel vacation in FL due to FL Coronavirus lockdown. Could not get a refund. We booked a vacation rental in Jan 2020 for June XX XXXX. On 01/31 we paid $956.85 as a down payment. After that Florida went into lockdown due to the coronavirus. As of May XX XXXX we are not allowed to even check into the home we rented. We have three families involved and on May 18 we needed a definite yes or no as to whether or not we would have a place to stay at in June. My Vacation Haven could not guarantee a definite yes on May 18 and we had to cancel our reservation with My Vacation Haven. I asked for a refund since on May 18 we could not even stay at the rental home we had already paid money for. I told My Vacation Haven we had to make a decision with the FACTS as they existed on May 18 since three families were involved. My Vacation Haven refused to give us a refund. I told My Vacation we could not reschedule since three families were involved nor could we wait for the POSSIBLE 'yes' that we would be allowed to even use the rental home we paid money for. I would simply appreciate a refund and I would be willing to withdraw this complaint. After the Florida lockdown went into effect, not once has My Vacation Haven informed me that we could not even stay at the property that we had put a down payment on.

We rented a Villa Lago property from MVH & were involved in an accident with 6 seater golf cart. To date they have refused to answer basic questions. I'm writing to formally request your help in dealing with an issue that has been ongoing) with My Vacation Haven. We rented your home in Villa Lago between 11/23/XXXX - XX/28. On 11/24 we were involved in an accident with the 6 seater golf cart. We were returning from the beach, it had been raining and the vehicle in front of us stopped short as another golf cart's belonging all fell out. The road was wet we slammed the brakes, but the golf cart did not come to a complete stop before hitting the back of the vehicle in front of us. We called and reported the accident to My Vacation Haven that day. The same day two gentleman came and inspected the golf cart and took photographs informing us it was not a big deal and it happens all the time. They mentioned the damaged looked mainly cosmetic. We heard nothing until 12/3, when My Vacation Haven called and said they would immediately be charging our credit card $7258.23 and they did. They did so without any proper damage estimate. We emailed and called, Jan *** and then Maridell *** of My vacation Haven for almost two weeks before receiving the property damage estimate on December 11. To date they have still refused to answer basic questions about charges in the property damage estimate. We have attempted to file a claim with our homeowner claims, but Maridell *** and My Vacation Haven are not returning our calls, emails or properly providing us with the information we need to make the claim. Ms. informed us that the 6 seater golf cart was totaled, however there has been no evidence of this that has been provided to us. In fact, if the golf cart is totaled we asked to retain possession as we paid over $7,200.00. We need help with the following information to make a claim with our Homeowner insurance policy: 1. Require any and all photographs, videotape and inventory of the damage, estimate /repair reports, communications with the repair facility and right to inspect/claim the golf cart; 2. Proof of registration with the Sandestin SOA; 3. Confirmation whether the owner of the golf cart maintained an insurance policy which is required by the Sandestin SOA and did not file a claim with another insurer; and 4. Sworn proof of loss from the owner to ensure there is no overlapping of insurance policies. As the insurance company is entitled to reimbursement by any monies paid by a third party. Under Florida law double dipping. We have been informed any parties allowing such would be guilty of fraud. These previous attempts to resolve the problem have been unsuccessful. My Vacation Haven has been indifferent to our basic requests and acted in a terrible manner in every respect. They have been unprofessional in the lack of response and willingness to help us.

No COVID-19 Cleaning done I rented a vacation home at 36 Tranquility in Destin Fl from Sept 24-27 for myself, my husband and some anniversary and some friends I received a text from the company My vacation Haven a few days prior to our arrival stating what to bring and what to expect when we got here. BUT no one prepared me for the disaster when we got here . First of all we rented the house MOSTLY for the pool and when we got here on Thurs Sept 24 it was FILTHY it had trees and shrubs from the hurricane it was even a dead frog floating around and empty plastic cups and NOT TO MENTION the refrigerator did not work AT ALL ! No ICE NO WATER NOTHING! . I immediately called the rental company to report this and was assured this would be taken care of in the early A.M. The next day my husband and myself called again and was told by the manager Amanda *** at My Vacation Haven that the refrigerator had been reported broken as of Sunday prior to our arrival and that it ad parts on back order so that means all of the meat and food that we had to put in the refrigerator was going to spoil .I asked about the pool again to be told SOMEONE was coming out but it wouldnt be until the afternoon it was already 12 noon by this time and my guests were ready to test the waters but the pool was still dirty. I was transferred to a manager and she told me that My Vacation Haven LLC doesn't clean the pools but the maintenance here in Destiny East and she was calling him as we spoke . She the proceeded to have me send her pics of the pool and I did then she told me she would notify the property manager and refund me $225 dollars of my money BUT WE PAID $2,700 . I didn't think this was acceptable. That same morning one of my guest informed me that she saw a pool guy cleaning the pool RIGHT NEXT DOOR I was willing to ride in my car an get him but he was gone lol. I'm not sure but this DIDNT LOOK right because at all .. I'm SUPER DISAPPOINTED and my ANNIVERSARY VACATION HAS BEEN RUINED and MOST OF ALL My Vacation Haven stated they did COVID19 cleaning NOT QUITE SURE THATS TRUE due to the conditions we found here upon arrival.. I'm actually in this home in FEAR now and STILL NOONE HAS COME TO CLEAN THE POOL they trynna KILL US while typing this it is now 131pm and NO POOL GUY OR A FRIDGE ILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN.. Someone who worked for Vacation Haven finally brought a fridge the next day ,but due to me having a party of 16 people and only 2 working smaller fridges in the laundry room and the mother in law suites some of the food/meat purchased went bad because it had to sit out we went in thinking all the appliances worked. I explained to the employee WHO WORKED FOR VACATION HAVEN why we had to get the loner fridge and HE HIMSELF stated the fridge should have been removed a longtime ago because it had been reported since Sunday. This makes me think NOONE came to the house prior to our arrival for the throughout COVID-19 cleaning they claimed to have done so now my anxiety is THROUGH THE ROOF as well as my guest My anniversary trip was RUINED I advised all my guest to go get COVID tested I'm also now dealing with the guilt of not providing a SAFE HAVEN for my guest MORE ANXIETY this has all been a big mess that never should have happened. I have pictures and a video of when it rained the window was broken and it leaked into the house and water was all over the dining room floor we couldn't even use the dining room the leak was RIGHT OVER AN ELECTRICAL SOCKET so REALLY ?! I've had to take off work to go to the Dr's for a medication for my anxiety and to try to get a little bit of a piece of mind until EVEROYONES COVID results come back . And prayerfully WE ARE ALL NEGATIVE
