updating payment details
Netflix,
I am writing to you because I am having problems with trying to update my payment details.
I am trying to update my payment details as I can't continue watching if I don't. Everytime I try to update my details, it says that the payment server is down, but it has now been down for over 2 days.
What is wrong with the server?
I feel like there is nothing wrong, but there is something wrong with the actual Netflix website.
Please get back to me ASAP.

JURGENS
slow to no service, customer service cut me off
Netflix takes forever to load on my TV and Roku stick. Tonight, it backed me out and made me sign back into my account. It stays stuck at the Netflix logo forever, then it goes to "Who's Watching?" and takes forever to respond to my finger hitting Enter on the remote.
Then it takes forever to navigate to the show I want. It starts playing the show, but then it kicks me out and I get a black screen with "We are having trouble playing this title right now. Please try again later."
This does not happen when I use Hulu, so I know it's not my TV, my Roku stick, or my WiFi. It's Netflix.
I tried calling customer support twice. Both times, I got cut off in the middle of the call.
The Netflix "service" has been flaky and unreliable like this for at least a month. Since I'm not getting consistent service, I'm beginning to wonder why I pay the bill.
netflix title: pygmies (children of the forest)
This title is a blatantly exploitative journey into a "National Geographic" style of film, without the anthropological or scientific excuses for it's bad filmmaking. It's merely an excuse for showing naked "primitives" (many of which are children) to satisfy the voyeurism of the audience. The filmmakers obviously harbor fantasies of being radical adventurers while in reality they were just trying to get footage of flapping breasts. Try to do better in your film selections, please!
Your comment is very disturbing. The filmmaker was showing the individuals in their natural habitat. Why would he make them wear cloth to satisfy ignorant, misogynist like you.
deducted 4x from my bank account
I was deducted 4x in my bank account this month. This Friday to be exact. 3 in the morning and 1 in the afternoon. They insist i was only billed 1x in my Netflix account. But how come I was deducted 4x?! This is unacceptable! Moreover, it is very difficult to contact them. What kind of customer service are they practicing?! So disappointing! Netflix, fix this issue!
dvd/bluray delivery service
WHAT is going on with the Netflix shipping service. As of now ( I just checked), Netflix have no discs on the way to me despite my very long queue and my having returned both discs already. When Netflix (eventually) ships one from Trenton, NJ, it now takes two or three days to arrive, when shipments from Merrifield, VA always would arrive the next day.
Netflix mail service, in my opinion, has become abominable. The "2 Discs out at-a-time" plan is an abysmal joke. I almost NEVER have two discs in my hands at one time. Yes...yes...yes. I understand "out" means Netflix shipped them to me, but if they are so long is arriving the effect is still not acceptable.
Netflix's streaming service, while effective for me, is very limited in scope. Compare my 400+ disc queue to my roughly 100 show streaming queue, mostly some TV shows I've missed. If that's all Netflix has to offer, maybe it's to give up on Netflix and try Hulu, Amazon, and HBO. Yes, it will cost more, but I won't be P-O'd as much, and I already am a Prime member for the shipping benefits (By the way, Netflix might learn from Jeff Bezos' shipping practices. I can even get some orders the next day. at no extra cost)
Netflix is supposed to be the leader in video delivery services. I expect much better performance from them if they want to keep me. I've been a subscriber for almost 14 years; should that end soon?
next episode thumbnail can spoil stuff
Hi, I just wanted to point out that the thumbnail for next episodes, in some shows, can, on occasions, spoil something.
For example, an episode might end on a cliffhanger where a character might die, and then the thumbnail directly shows that character in perfect health, that kind of spoils the whole effect :p
Happened to me on a few shows too, not that rare of an issue.
That also affects the "preview image" shown while an episode is loading (which is always the same image as the thumbnail one).
Having only the show's banner instead of a preview image might be more suited i think.
Thanks for your attention!
netflix originals - quality
My family has been disturbed by the large percentage of Netflix Original entertainment that is unacceptable. We have tried on several occasions to sit and watch something together, only to have to turn it off when the subject matter becomes immoral either in actual depiction or discussion, or foul language is used. An example is "Stranger Things". We had heard good reviews, so were excited to sit down as a family and watch it, but were again disappointed by the language and suggestive material. We made it into the 2nd episode, where teen sex is discussed as normal and then actually depicted, at which point we turned off the show, disappointed once again. We have not found any Netflix Original programming yet that is suitable to watch, at least for those who still have morals. I request that an effort be made to make suitable material for families, or even for those who do not wish to pollute their minds. Many plot lines are of great interest to us, but we won't watch them because of the unnecessary language and immoral content.
dvds
I have dvd's in my que that are consistently in "long wait" status for months and on those random times when the dvd shows as "available" when my next dvd is due to ship all of a sudden it's listed as "long wait" again?
Ship me "rookie blue season 2"! Cosby season 7 too!
Why can you ship for other venues for select dvd's but not these?
This is why I stopped my 3 dvd's shipment and am only receiving 1 disc.
On the flip side why aren't all seasons in a series available? Why is law & order: criminal intent season 3 not available but season 4 is?
This inconsistencies are unprofessional and i'm so close to cancelling my membership altogether.
title releases
- Netflix releases movies and tv shows as "originals"
- Netflix states a date for the original titles release
---Issue---
1. I'm in Australia 🇦🇺
2. The date of release is the date of release, according to the customer service officer (Ceci) Netflix will release movies based on another time zone.
3. Australians pay high fees to view Netflix, when a date is stated for the realease of a title I expect it to be released based on my time zone.
4. Netflix needs to increase the movies added in all genres.
payments illegally withdrawn from my account
In 2015 I had a run-down with Netflix, which ended in them, very correctly, refunding several years of payments that they had been taking for no service. I was horrified to see that they continued to withdraw from my account until June 2016. Attempts to contact them were no good, and when I did finally get hold of someone I was told that they couldn't refund the money they had (illegally) taken because they had no record of my account.
This, in my view, is criminal.
unethical behaviour
i am sincerely mad about orange is the new black, and Wentworth being unavailable to my Netflix account. i have a been a big fan of these shows for months. i would like to warn you, that i will sue, if the removal of my shows is permanent. you will also be sad to hear, that you will loose your most loyal customer, of 15 years. i was going to submit my complaint at just that, but it appears you glistering fart blossoms want me to waste EVEN MORE of my time to explain my distress of the situation. it is unlawful to me, and all netflix users. i hope you guys choke on all the nice words you said when advertising me to sign up for this user.
on the grounds that orange is the new black, and wentworth have been removed. i just said that. now consider yourself, a glistering fart blossom like the rest of netflix.
netflix
Half the movies on Netflix are India or Mexican and they rarely load new movies. Millions movies out there and they load old movies from the 70s and 80s my god I'm not paying $10 month for that. And I have heard movies are uploaded and chosen by people in India and Mexico. I'm in America not their I'm looking for a new service. Totally disappointed.
women who kill lions
This show disgusts me. I refuse to watch it but I get the general idea by the title. You are glorifying this practice.Did you pay them for this crap. Give them some money to keep hunting. What is wrong with you? You should be making a show about how you are trying to stop it. Use your money for good. Not glorifying these murderers. Way to encourage inhumane idiots. Take it off before other people think its cool.
Above was supposed to be in response to already posted comment regarding the women killing lions show on Netflix.
I agree completely. This show is a disgrace. These women are just narcissistic psychopaths who like to get attention by killing things. And you are enabling them! Shame on you, Netflix!
contest
I just did a small 4question contest that came in my e-mail and won. Apperantely free Netflix but when I went to it all you guys wanted was money which I noticed after I created an account. So what's happening am I getting charged or whatever? Some questions where relative to who started Google then where Google started. Hope that helps to pin point this.
netflix language for shows and movies
It really upsetting to see all these new shows and not in English if when I go to Mexico I don't see shows in English why can't I watch a show on Netflix in English right BTW I'm Mexican and don't speak Spanish please have some more consideration for the English speakers and show El Chapo in English subtitles are a joke and can't keep up
Thank You,
Henry Villa

double-billing
In November 2016, after receiving notice from Netflix that my account was inactive and would need renewing, I provided the credit card information requested. This began the cycle of double-billing discovered yesterday.
After chatting with Netflix customer service rep, Miranda, I was informed I would get a refund for 3 of the 9 months I had been double charged. Since the error belongs to Netflix for double billing a single IP address, I requested to speak to her supervisor.
The supervisor's position was that Netflix has a no-refund policy, but that he would authorize 3 additional months for reimbursing. Six months is not nine months, but I accepted the deal.
Today I received notice from the Netflix Accounts office that my bank had been credited with $7.99. I pay $9.99 per month plus $7.99. By refunding $7.99 instead of $9.99, Netflix has conceded that I have paid in full for full coverage of two computers within this IP address.
Netflix refused to take my chat today (waited an hour for a response that never came, that states wait time is 2-7 minutes). Following is today's chat appeal:
"Double-billing refund is for 1 month instead of 6 stated during yesterday's chat; and the amount was for $7.99 instead of $9.99 that I actually pay. This is my attempt to resolve this amicably.
Reference number for yesterday's extended chat:

My account number is: unavailable
Desired resolution: Refund as agreed upon
I am still skeptical of Nf's inability to tie computers at same IP address to a single account, but I now understand their reason for tying the account to an email address instead (portability). There continues to be a need, however, for winnowing out those computers sharing an IP address for purposes of billing. Reimbursement for double billing has been promised, and once fulfilled, I would consider this matter answered and closed.
I really do enjoy Netflix, but I think it important that Netflix be put on notice for double billing. If Nf continues to double bill and refuses to admit the practice, then leaves unfulfilled its promised to make make good on its error, then this does become actionable.
Netflix doesn't recognize accounts by IP address. You're a grown up. Check your statement.
James Leiter @ leiter45@juno.com. I have the same complaint as the individual above - 2 billings within a one month period.
7/06 9.99 and 7/28 for 8.47.
I have been on a one movie per month plan and have done nothing to change that. I feel as he does, that if this is not resolved, I will cancel my subscription to Netflix.

netflix does not have enough anime
Anime is a genre that is becoming more and more popular. Me and many people I know believe that there should be more anime on Netflix(Canada). Now I am not speaking about little kids shows, I am talking about shows and movies that teenagers and adults are interested in. Such as Hunter X Hunter which has recently been removed from Netflix. I would recommend having some sort of survey or some way for you to notice what your viewers desire to watch. I hope you will take my complaint seriously and that you will think of a way to solve these issues.
Usually im fighting alongside Netflix but i have to that there should be more anime. im getting tired of having to watch the same shows over again.
programing
Hi, I see that Netflix need improvements. I suggest that for us in PR, Bilinguals, the Spanish bottoms for languages, are not working constantly, are sometimes the Spanish bottoms don't work. Be advise is a good thing to have translations bottoms for every languages, and most important needed to work properly. Today my grandson start washing Voltron series first episode I could hear it in Spanish. After that the rest episode didn't work any more. Maintenance work needed to be done on daily basics. If Netflix don't want to fall, daily check on this bottoms needed to be done. Also more new US movies needed to be implement, for me I'm tire of seen Indian movies or mites, some old movies are good movies, but not all the time. Been up to date with recent years American movies. Been more update is a good thing for Netflix investment. Well good date.
