NetSpend Fraud department

My card was locked by netblue and I was asked to send in documents. I did that twice and the fruad guy wouldn't accept my documents. He was very unprofessional and this is against my consumer rights. I want to talk to a supervisor. I am going to make a police report as well as try to sue. This sort of thing is uncalled for and I have rights. I will never again do my taxes with liberty tax and. I will never again have this card holder. Their professionalism lacks and they are rude.

Desired outcome: I want access to the funds on my card.its my funds and my card . This is not how a company should do business.

NetSpend Deepblue Debit card

I filed my taxes yesterday with liberty tax. I decided to take out the cash advance from my refund on the deepblue card. I was approved for $2500. I paid a few bills and withdrew some cash, then they deactivated my account without notifying me. I have about $1400 remaining in the account and was advised I now have to wait 10 business days for a check to be mailed to me. I don't trust this company at all, they refuse to send me anything in writting confirming that they will mail my check. I added a photo of the vague response their customer service department sent me when I asked for confirmation of my check

NetSpend About your netspend all access card

I want my money they have $447 and change and every time I try to get it transfer the money to an another netpsend card (because they said my old card was compromised) the new card they sent me in the mail by fedex was compromised so I couldn't use that one so I spend hour trying to activate a card I had in a desk door wish they told me was good to use well I some how they tell me your passwords was wrong ok so I changed my password then my username was wrong then my password again and back and forth I went at this time it had been me starting my 5th day of this s — t and if I once get my money I will never use another netspend card again... And oh never wiil a net hang up on me again

Desired outcome: i just want my money back it was going to pay my bills (good luck with that )

NetSpend Confiscating retirement funds by blocking account

I am a retired, I am a lady who depends on her retirement funds to live. My funds have been blocked since Dec. 22 and have not had access to my funds our been able to view my account. I was charged $25 for a new card and t hey won't activate it. They keep telling me they can't verify who I am. I am an American national and do not have a government identification card. I didn't have to have a government Identification to open this account. Netspend is stealing my funds by not allowing me to look at my acct or use my account. I am about to file documents with the IRS holding them accountable for 100 000 dollars. I am running out of patience.

Desired outcome: My account unblocked mediately or I wi file 1099 forms with the IRS about My account

NetSpend They have my money.

So I lost my card

I requested a new card. When the card arrived I went to activate it and was prompted to call customer service there's an issue with my account. Apon calling I was told I can no longer have account with netspend that they have closed my account due to fraudulent activity. Not having access to my account and bc my card was lost they wanted me to provide the card number which I didn't not have cause after all it was lost. So finally after 6 attempts to get some answers where my money is. I finally was told they would send me a refund in the form of a check. 3 to 4weeks. Now I've called back bc I haven't received it yet. Now the representative tells me I'm not due A refund. That's not possible. Then she tells me it's possible that they have already sent the refund to me. So that is why she don't see the refund. So I ask for a number to call about my refund in which they have some kind of record or Check number or tracking number for this check so I can make sure it's been sent and nobody's cash my check. I was told they don't have access to any of that information. There no number for me to call to have a record of this money and where my money is. I mean the wtf really netspend come on. The irs is letting u get away from having no records of my money. I want my money now.

NetSpend Deep blue

In April of 2022 I used them for my taxes my card was stolen so I opened a dispute claim. I got the money back but never heard anything more in it. Come 2023 I have a new account and woke up to a text with a problem on my account. I called and was told seven different things. They are charging me the 900 dollars back and took all the money I had in my account which was 193 after I was told they wouldn't be taking it until I got my taxes.

NetSpend Ace Elite/Netspend

I had both a netspend account and Ace elite account. I decided I only needed one account, so I closed the netspend account. Today I received a text that my account was closed and after of being on the phone and being switched around I only got it was excessive use pattern? I have this account for over 15 years I do not understand why this would happen. I could not spend any more time on the call.

Desired outcome: To make sure this does not mark my name with a bad mark for anything else in the future and to be given a detail explaination on why it was closed and to be able to appeal this decision

NetSpend My card will not go through and I recently put $175.00 on the card

Upon trying to get an online subscription It stated,

"Your payment transaction has been declined.

This might have been caused by:

not having sufficient funds on your account or having your card limit overdrawn

your card being expired or deactivated by your bank

your card not having Internet payments allowed

Please make sure you have enough funds available and try again, use a different payment method or contact your bank or card issuer." I have funds on my card because I just put $175.00 on my card.

Upon calling the Netspend customer service no one answered the phone I remained on the phone approximately 30 minutes with no answers. I disconnected to see if someone would answer later and no one answered on my later call, I'm now considering moving to another card company because it stated on line that someone should be there until 8PM. Please assist me with this problem ASAP. Today is Dec. 31, 2022 @1:44 PM. My phone number is [protected]. Thank you.

NetSpend Card

Again, I got my ssc depositon 12/28/22 at 12:16 pm. Tried to pay my bills funds but said insuffiant the money is in nest spend account. I received a all access netspend card few days before I did not order tried calling the no to them keep me waiting 2 or 3 hrs when I finally got someone to get money onto new card, she got all info to change money onto it then says hold online going to switch to who can put my deposit on my card hung had to call again and had to start from beginning, pissed off consumer I hae to have my ssc topay my bills I need immediate help a s a p

NetSpend Product / customer service / scandals and immoral personnel and company policies

Well to start this company I ordered some service from tried to charge me 4.25 extra that I was uinaware of and your system took it as fraudulant and put a hold on my account to start my problems off things that I had order earlier that day before the incident got canceled why I have no idea it was very stupid and inconsiderate but I never got a phone call or message from you all notifing me of the problem then as I decide to check the status of the things I ordered and that is how I found out that everything I ordered that day didnt go threw because your system thought it was cool to cancel everything not just the company who made the mistake this is days later and without notifiying me that that happened I thought my stuff was on the way and it was never shipped when I called customer service they said they will cancel my card and ill get a new one in 3 days now its been a week and still no card when I told him that this will not work for me cuz you canceled peoples christmas gifts that I ordered and now you have ruined christmas for a bunch of people and I cannot wait three more days to have access to my money I need to get these paid for and on the way he told me to buy a temp card now im not buying anything this is your problem if I was notified there would not be a problem and thats unacceptable and we need to clear this matter up today and with out saying a word he puts me on hold thinking he getting a supervisor no just transphered to another incompetant employee now I had to explain the situation again and same thing they trasphered me 3 or 4 times keeping me on hold for so long the office closed and while I was on hold they left now you should have a 24hr service like everyone else when peoples money is at stake they want results imediatly I called during business hours and was blown off like what you all wasnt apauling in its own but the only way you can speak to any one there is by puting your card number well since they went a head and marked my card as stolen it wouldnt accept it and my card wasnt stolen now I cant even speak to any one its obious they never even sent my card he said 3 days and its been one week and no card you all are holding my money hostage and asking ransom for access to it witch isnt right and should be illegal if it already isnt we will find out soon and when the account was made I asked to be billed monthly and that isnt the case yall are charging me every transaction witch isnt what I signed up for and I have called on 3 or 4 occations asking for yall to fix the app for me its been blocked since day one and have never gotten to use it dispite every time I called they said its working now witch is a lie cuz still wont let me log in now its been days past christmas my account is held hostage by you people and I still havent order the christmas gifts that were order in penty of time to be here before christmas if not for yalls neglagence now what is going to be done to fix this matter what is going to be done to make me happy with yalls sorry service what is going to be done to compensate me for time lost peoples hollidays being ruined and all the stress your company has put me through what is going to be done to keep me as a customer and be insured that this wont happen again im about to call the attone y general and go to social media lets see how fast it spreads all over multiple platforms on social media itll spread like wild fire I want this matter taken care of immediatly my name is bryan hart my number is [protected] and my address is 307 trophy ct bastrop tx 78602 now this is not going to be tolerated one more day im probally going to have to turn you in to the authorites and file suit and smear your horrible service and experence all over social media im sure lots of people will be discouraged about using your service I know I am thanks for ruining christmas and stressing me out im expecting this matter to be cleared up to my satisfaction today one more day will not be accepted or tollerated eveything in ways of handeling this has been wrong if you would of fix the app one of the many times I called and asked or if you would of notified me in the begining there was an issue we wouldnt have ever gotten to this point there are many other services like yours out there that im sure the empoyees arent rude incompatent jerks and they would hold your money up for hostage and ransom thanks bryan hart

NetSpend Account locked numerous times

I have been stuck in the Philippines for about 3 years now. I use my NetSpend card to withdraw money from my PayPal. On numerous occasions they have locked my account and I would have to spend $20 to load my phone and call them to unlock it. I have provided proof of identity including, my passport, SS number, front and back of my card too along with other things. This time a rude customer service agent, knowing my situation, asked for proof of address on a home that got foreclosed on because I got stuck here. Now I have a chance to go home to America, and once again I can't use my card.

Desired outcome: Just want my account unlocked so I can get home.

I am attempting to resolve a dispute that I reopened from last year. My dispute was denied originally, but I spoke with a dispute team member and was supposed to be partially granted the ammount of the dispute .I cannot get any information from the 1866 number .I was supposed to have recieved a call back dec. 1st 2022 ,but, no one ever called .My name Scotty Sherman [protected]@gmail.com .

NetSpend Merchant refund not received

3 Amazon purchases we're made Dec 16, I canceled two via Amazon platform since it wasn't shipped yet Amazon released the hold on funds immediately. But NetSpend still said pending, I waited for them to post only posted transaction shown was my Amazon I didn't cancel, both other transactions completely disappeared I even have Amazon purchase and cancelation emails to prove it.

NetSpend Visa Card/customer service

Visa card was Blocked. called customer service on 12-03-2022, 4 times that spoke to a customer Rep. they ended, hangin up with out resolving my issue. Today 12-13-2022 I called again and again they hang up. with out resolving my issue. I tryed loging in to the system but card is blocked. I got money that i need in that card so I wont lose my Apartment but it seems no one cares.

Yes I've been trying to access my account for a while now about a year ago I had a problem with identity theft howeverI just had to make a new police report regarding the situation identity has been stolen I've even offered to send in documents if your staff has done verified that there was recent transactions done recent deposits I even gave a lady a date of a transaction and somehow they keep redirecting me to the automated system where I need to verify the card number and I do not have the card number of course because someone is accessing my account they're also checking my mail at my residence which the police are involved now again they are involved again so

NetSpend Prepaid card

On July 17 2022, I purchased a scooter on eBay for $304 with my NetSpend Mastercard. After waiting three months I requested a refund. Over the course of those three months a had lost the NetSpend Mastercard. Ebay sent my refund to the card that I had lost. The refund was deposited onto card and ebay closed the return. I only have the last four digits of the card that ebay provided, they will not provide any further information and tell me I must contact NetSpend. NetSpend will provide no assistance due to the fact I only have four digits of card number, due to the fact the card has been lost I have no account number to provide or inquire about. I multiple NetSpend accounts, two of which I use regularly and access easily. The other accounts I am denied access to for reasons they won't explain, despite my having valid usernames and passwords. I enter username and password and they tell me there is a problem with account and to call customer service. Upon calling customer service they ask for a card number I don't have because the card is lost. I cannot request a new card because I am denied access to account, despite having valid usernames and passwords. I cannot contact customer service because username and password only access account online. With no account or card number customer will not even tell me if account exists. I have at least two accounts they have locked to online access (despite having valid usernames and passwords) Because I have no card or account number to provide. If online access were possible I could obtain these numbers, instead access is only possible over phone with these numbers due to their security measures. There are accounts in my name I am hopelessly locked out of, I can neither use them nor close them or report a card lost or stolen. It is unethical to have these accounts, my accounts, and deny any access or even information as to what the problems are that they inform me of every time I am denied access online, despite valid usernames and passwords. They have security questions when the accounts are set up, never have they been asked. I have entire purchase history for lost card with dates, as well as last four digits and expiration date. None of this is enough for them to even acknowledge card exists, or if it is connected to the problem accounts I am refused access to, despite having valid usernames and passwords. I am at my wits end, this simply cannot be legal. I'm being treated as if I've stolen my own identity.

Desired outcome: I want to know how many accounts I have open with this company, it is beyond unethical for them to maintain them in some restricted status and refuse any information to the account holder. I also want my $304

NetSpend Netspend hybrid bank account closure process

I have a netspend account since mid 2019 for over 3 years. I had received a netspend hybrid bank account within 1 month of having a prepaid netspend account and had the hybrid netspend bank account for 3 years. I never had any issues with netspend and even though the bank account had fees for various things and there was daily limits of cash withdrawal or depositing cash into the account, I did not mind the fees for the flexibility of depositing funds and withdrawals were more convenient than a traditional bank account. I never had never experienced any issues with netspend until yesterday when I got a random email that had stated I needed to contact netspend customer service. When calling, the first representative did not understand what was happening and could not explain the email and referred me back into the calling queue. The second representative then needed to again verify my information and then after some time of a long hold, had come back and randomly stated that netspend had closed my bank account "stating some sort of accusations of it violation fdic guildlines" and some sort of false accusation of it having suspicious activity. The representative stated I would no longer be able to have a netspend account or have access to my online netspend account. I wanted to do a dispute about the fact that netspend had randomly closed my account and didn't explain what was happening to any of my remaining funds in my account, nor give an accurate reason for randomly closing my account for no reason, especially after me having an established netspend account for 3 years with no issues, nor calls or reference of suspicious activity or anything otherwise. I found all this to be very ridiculous and random and extremely inconvenient since all my bills and monthly subscriptions and everything was linked and tied to my netspend account. I also found the fact that no clear explanation, nor valid reason or proper process was done nor established in terms of netspend randomly closing my account as to prevent this inconvenience and improper reason with no valid proof given by netspend. I would have before given netspend a 5 star review for the 3 years of account service with fees but no major issues in terms of service. But after this experience, I found other customers need to be advised about this process that occurred by netspend so they think twice when considering to get a netspend account due to netspend possible closing their account even after years of them establishing it randomly and with vague unvalid reason and explanation with no proof as to avoid the head ache and inconvenience. It is not worth the head ache to get the netspend prepaid card nor netspend hybrid bank account account card. Beware, netspend might randomly close your account with no notice. I do not recommend getting an account from netspend

There is fraud on my account of 130.00 and change and -77.00 and change to put me in the negative, so a total of around $208, so you are going to hell not me for the [censored] fraudulent charges. 60.00 instead of 61.00 at BJs makes sure countrymen are not in hell except for maybe Zane Michael Lumbley. NetSpend A refund that was deposited on my account an the bank close my account cause for fraud activity

A partial refund of 663.90 i have not received from 2020 refund the bank said that the money was send back to the irs but the irs said no there no money the bank send them I don't know who's saying the truth either the bank or the irs a I want is my money back. I been waiting to long an I'm going truth financial issues. The photo I send in yhe bottom show a the information when the deposit was made the amount ect

Desired outcome: An the IRS made that deposit into my account there was 663.90 dollars left on the account an the bank saying that money was send back to the irs

The irs keep saying to me that the the bank did not send no refund to them an they keep telling me that is between me an the bank

NetSpend Prepaid debit card

My netspend card was lost. After receiving a new card. I went online to activate it. After trying to login to my account it told me there was an issue with my account to call customer service. Which I did two days in a row only to be put on hold and sent to automated system 4 times. I finally received a email telling me my email had been changed on my account. In which also the phone had been changed. None of these changes had I made. Finally after 4 days and several representatives I was told that my accounts were close and I can no longer have an account with nespend due to fraudulent activity and that they would issue a refund check . I was asked to wait on holds so that that they could get verification to issue the refund. I waited on hold for 45 mins just to be sent to automated system again. Now it's been 3 weeks and I have yet to get a refund and have called several times just to keep getting the run around I have $2,791 of my money that netspend will not give me

Desired outcome: Please give me my refund.
