I parched a prepaid visa card when I only had it for only 2-3 days and only used it 2-3 times when I discovered that had a freeze on it. Upon calling the company about this they told me that I had to freeze my drivers license and social security card then the lift would be taken off with in 24-48 hours after about 48 hours I tried my card only to discovered that the freeze was still there. I called back and they tell me that they now need proof of my address. So I fax them proof of my address not once not twice but about 8 times they kept telling me that they never received it. When they did received it they tell me that the print out of my address from the library is not good enough. So I faxed then s copy of my phone bill not once not twice but at least 5 times. After going though this for 2 1/2 weeks they finally told me that they received me fax on thursday oct 19.2006 and thaw freeze would be lifted by tomorrow [friday] on friday morning I called and I was informed that the freeze was off. Upon trying my card I discovered that the lift was still on. This company has caused me nothing but embarrassment and severe inconvenience when I had asked then on one of many many phone call I had asked then to either fix third or refund my money back they refused to do either one.

Netspend does not protect its customers from fraud... They don't take time to thoroughly investigate or contact authorities to check the validity of merchants whom use PayPal to disguise their fraudulent activity...look elsewhere when looking for a financial institution for direct deposit...

I disputed several unauthorized charges on my account! Netspend decided block my account and now I have been left on hold for over 1 hour trying speak with supervisor. These charges are fraud and are from overseas company that you can't contact or get info on. This awful to take someone's money and not have company even try to get your money back.

I used Netspend for my tax refund last year but this year they didn't credit my card with my refund like I asked them too. Never again using Netspend closing all my accounts.
This the Consumes Protection Bural - FTD - placed an injunction Because I reported them on a similar situation - but with twist of fraud and deception.. they partners with HEB? That's sad for HEB.. as they vail NetSpend..as I bought a card debit card as it said " HEB" not "NetSpend? Thus NetSpend refuses to release my money.. this because they used the respected name of HEB . As the vail.. as after learning - when I got home and activated my pre paid card- I was deprived.. Terrible card. Has so many uneccessary fees and false advertising almost to the point of scamming. Advertises advance deposit of taxes which is untrue. Falsley leads people into believing it is a good card and service to have. Worst card to get hidden fees all over with little benefits.

I have two different complaints first one after I used my card I should of had 7$ balance but it was only 1.50, second complaint I added 20$ on my had made a transaction for 15$ but it was declined, I called customer service they said it was pending but when I called the company they said it was decline.

I have blocked account due to a security issue so I ordered a new card to be expedited. I can't pay rent or anything. My direct deposits and all are there! I called and got some bogus tracking number and still have no money! This is highway robbery! I need my money now! I work paycheck to paycheck.
