Hidden charges for delivery to Canada
Ordered relatively inexpensive children's clothes and the delivery charge was significant. During delivery the delivery company (DHL) required additional payment for more than the Next delivery charges for "customs clearance". This was unexpected and significant. Recommend others assume delivery charge will be doubled (or more) when shipper gets payment. Shipping is now greater than the price of the goods.

Been using NextDirect for a while now and I got to say, I'm pretty impressed. The website’s never failed me yet. The clothes are pretty good quality and the prices are easy on my wallet. Plus, they ship crazy-fast. It only took two days to get my order from the UK all the way here to Australia.
The only thing that bugs me a bit sometimes is that the sizes occasionally run a bit too big. But, like, that's not really the company's fault or nothing. If you're worried like me, just use their sizing guide or maybe order a size down from what you normally get. No worries, though, they’ve never given me no sizing mishaps that I couldn't handle.

I was always really happy with NextDirect, I used to buy a lot of stuff here with no problems. A couple of weeks ago, I ordered many dresses for a wedding and kept one, returning the others. But then something crazy happened - Klarna sent me the whole bill for ALL the items! I was flabbergasted. I called and e-mailed a lot with the customer service from Next, but they were no help. They said they didn't have the order and didn't understand what was going on. This was really frustrating, and I had to wait for days to hear back about the complaints I made. To make matters worse, when I finally got a response back, they still didn't have a solution. Instead, they told me that the package was still at a parcel point. My package took more than eight days to arrive because I was waiting for some tracking information. DPD stated that they were waiting for my street number, and my package was languishing in their depot all that time. Thing is, my street number was visible in my shipping address info, but DPD never told me or Next.
In conclusion, as much as I love Next Direct, their choice to exclusively use DPD as its delivery partner for the Netherlands has left me in a sticky situation. DPD's customer service is terrible and unhelpful, not to mention their lack of tracking info, and delays in delivery without notice. Despite sending an email to their complaint department, I still have heard nothing back and to add insult to injury, their website is still promising the delivery of the same item within a week. Hopefully, Next Direct can improve their logistics and communication systems soon so that others don't have to go through the same ordeal I did.
