I've been out of work for one month now and filed my claim for unemployment benefits and received mailing that I will receive benefits. I have been calling because I havent recieved any pay as of yet and messages telling me that claim not payable until I speak with an agent. I have been calling without getting through everyday from 7:30am til 5:00pm and keep getting hung up on. This has been going on for more than 2 weeks ago to present day. I don't know what to do. Please help

I have not been able to get through [protected] after one week of daily calls. Faxed successfully to [protected], but have not had message acknowledge or replied to by e-mail or phone. Both numbers had been included in the FAX. I don't know what to do. Please help as well.

I was born, raised and successfully employed in the state of New Jersey over thirty. My age is sixty seven and trying to survive the high cost of living in this state by supplementing my social security unsuccessfully and believe I have be categorized as age unacceptable. I finally was hired by Crossmark a Plano, TX Corporation as a Demo Specialist providing services at BJ’s in February of 2015. My employment was for a six hour shift with a one half hour paid break which did not include demo cart cleanup which could be from fifteen to thirty minutes of uncompensated time along with another twenty minutes for computer log on and reporting of demo time and results survey in addition to accessing online my schedule once a week.
Over the period of time since beginning employment I have been subject to numerous actions of harassment and discrimination when I also consider activities of other employees. I lost three weeks of work due to corporate claiming I resigned and could not be scheduled for work admitting to the mistake but told could not be scheduled until reinstated I was reprimanded in front of customers for unnecessary reasons. Disciplined for leaning against the wall to relieve some back pain after standing in place for four hours regardless of my supervisor knowing full well that I had injured myself a few days before lifting an ice chest while working. I was refused acknowledgement of my doctor’s request due to previous hip replacement and strain of this incident for intermittent short breaks or a stool request and forcing me into an ADA review process, paperwork, supervisor indicating not meeting job qualifications and losing more additional work while Crossmark determined what they should do. It was very disturbing that I had to lose three more weeks of work over a stool when I could go to other BJ’s and find them in use. Finally three weeks later they ignored the ADA and provided a Crossmark policy stating that use of a stool was approved based on five minutes per hour. All of which I have documented in chronological detail since the beginning of these incidents and upon request was sent to the Executive VP of HR with no further action.

On July 28, 2015 without any prior discussion I received an email along with eleven team recipients stating that our working hours have changed by an incremental time schedule beginning at 10:30, with a one half hour mandatory lunch break and “Failure to comply will result in disciplinary action”. This is directly contradictory to being hired by Crossmark and discriminatory when considering demo team members that were hired in the same time frame as myself were excluded from this new policy and continue to work a six hour 10:00 to 4:00 day schedule with a half hour paid break. In the same time frame Crossmark without any notice instituted a sales quota process ranking demo team members based on product sales. I was not hired as a salesman, it is and was not in my job description as well as there has been no discussion or provision for compensation only the expectation by everyone that it will be used as a means for terminating a at will employee.

It is sad that a company professes that it has great corporate aspirations for rising to the top of the Fortune 500 list disregards the most important key element to that success and that is its people. This type of corporate activity has transpired across the country as evidenced on internal company blogs posted by employees but not my concern. My intent is not to resolve the personnel issues of Crossmark but do expect your attention to this issue violating my personal rights as a citizen and employee in the State of New Jersey.

Thank you for your immediate resolution of this matter.

I have been out of work since 6/12/17 and my paperwork for TDI was sent on 6/14/17 to the Dept of Labor. I called a week later and spoke to a woman who was VERY nasty and unprofessional. She told me that the paperwork was received and that it could take up to 27 days to process. In the meantime, there was nothing I could do. It is now 7/28/17 and I have been without pay for over a month! I have called several times a day for the past few weeks, but after going through a few minutes of automated prompts, I get hung up on! Once I got to where it asked me to leave a call back number and a representative would get back to me. I received the call back, but what do you think happened?...I got hung up on again when they went to "transfer" the call to an agent. They did send me two letters which arrived on the same day. One saying I would be receiving my pre-paid debit card soon and the other saying I had to have the doctor fill out another form before getting paid. Apparently the doctor himself didn't sign the first one. That form was faxed to them two weeks ago! This is absolutely absurd! People rely on their money for bills (all of mine which are now behind) and living expenses. I can't even check the status online because it tells me my DOB is incorrect. I'm pretty sure i know my own DOB so am going to guess the error happened on their end. PLEASE do something to rectify this situation as soon as possible.

I filed 3 weeks ago and still have no response. I can’t call, get hung up on or told too busy, call back. I try the claim inquiry, can’t check at this time because it’s too busy. There is no help from anyone anywhere and I’m here with two children out of school and utilities out of control and about to lose everything. Someone needs to be available to answer questions at the very least. Virtual assistant is of no use and doesn’t help at all. I need help fast please! The way New Jersey has handled this situation is a disaster, no matter how many times the governor says it’s handling it well.

The staff in Pleasantville are the worst. The service person I had was Joe. He was rude and arrogant. He chastised me because they recorded the wrong information, said I should stop asking questions because I not a lawyer.
