I was woken up this morning by the sound of an sms coming through from the number [protected], upon opening it, it read that I had won R95000 on the same NOKIA Promo and must call [protected] ... IDIOTS don't know that I have a friend who works for NOKIA. I am not even gonna bother calling them. My husband received an e-mail claiming he won 3ooo ooo GBP from the ORANGE promo. Now it's no longer inheritances that they can't get their hands on, it's the promos!

I bought nokia 5800 xpress music on june 2017. From the first day, I can not use the phone. When I have to switch off the phone on dr. S office or airplane, I can not switch it on again. I had bought the nokia phone (5130) , imei no - [protected], battery no - q37305gd07617, bill no - 006001 from nokia priority dealer (planet infocom - d154, kamla nagar, delhi 7) on 17th october.

I regret to inform you that I am facing the problem within the first week of purchase. this handset is unable to catch the network signals I even searched the operator manually but it shows "no network coverage", on my other phones with same brand and same service provider shows the full network in same area, this shows the problem is within the phone and their is no network problem (which I assumed earlier).

I even contact the same dealer but instead of understanding the problem they back fired me, telling my handling was rough but their is not even single scratch on my phone, so this reaction is very baseless.

I am very dissappointed with this. I am a student so I can't run here and there for this manufacturing defect.

When I phoned, they told me to phone back in 20 minutes.
I then googled to find it a scam and phoned them back.
I told them I have reported their number, and they put the phone down in my ear.
Nokia better do something as their name is getting a bad reputation with this.

I did not complete verifcation, sure enough 2nd floor Berkley Square House is at the West-End of England. After few IP address backmasking and e-mail backmasking, it seems that an IP was traced back to the US.

An sms received saying that I won 315, 000 pounds and I have to call or email them using this email address claim@nokiauk.Co. Uk. I tried to communicate with this email, with several messages they asked me if I can't go to london to claim the prize I have option of courier services so they able to send the cheque. The courier service fee was so high it cost 2700 dirhams just to send the money to me. Early morning on 17th december 2017 a call was received from dr. Anderson pushing me to pay the service now or go to london to get the winning cheque. I'm just wondering why they dont just ask for your account so they can transfer the money to it instead of cheque which is faster. I attached herewith the nokia winning certificate they send to me.

I'm hoping nokia will investigate this matter to stop this scam which used their good company name.

Is this NOKIAS lottery true or false

I HAD ENOUGH OF THIS NOW!. I received feedback and contacting details from the Complaint Board and none of these details could be confirmed. What is the aim of this? So many people are complaining and reporting these messages and no one is taking the matter serious. The Nokia name is getting damaged in the process and I want to know from Nokia what they are doing about this? I was confirmed to be a winner, but no contact has been made from NOKIA in this regard. I received contacting details of persons who can not be confirmed and I dont take this matter lightly! What is the aim of this? I will advise all persons who get contacted, not to disclose any personal or banking details. I have supported NOKIA for over seven years now and how do you think must I react on this? I did take part in competitions, but if that mean that I get victimized by hackers and con-artists to scam personal information from you, then I think that NOKIA needs to take this matter a bit more serious! Unless NOKIA contact me and confirm details and procedures how to claim my winnings legally, then I can not see this other than a SCAM under which the NOKIA name is getting damaged. I really would like to know what the aim is in all this and what the hackers think they achieve by running these scams. You are damaging the image of a good brand and you are damaging true and honest people who are struggling to make a living, but at the same time try to help others and to assist people who really need assistance. By hacking and steeling from people who dont have and to invade such persons private lives aint moral and human! If scam artists and hackers can use their talents to build a more positive world, then there might be some change in this world. If you want to steel and scam, do it to the people who deserve it, but dont target innocent people who can not afford it! I lost my job and because of politics aint alowed to get another because I am white. I have enough worries and dont need scams and hackers to come add more unneeded nonsense to my life! 1. Next time, separate your block of text into paragraphs. It makes it muich easier to read.

2. Nokia can't do anything about text message scams, since they only make the phone, and not provide service for it. You'll need to contact your carrier (Virgin Mobile, Cell C, Vodacom, MTN) about this and ask them to block text messages from that sender.

I used to work for NOKIA and I can absolutely guarantee that any mail sent to any person from a hotmail, live, yahoo or any other address apart from nokia.com IS A SCAM SO PLEASE JUST DELETE THESE TEXTS.

Nokia DO NOT use hotmail, live, yahoo etc.

Please DO NOT REPLY to any text as is MAY give the sender a way to gain access to your contact details.

Please DO NOT SEND ANY MONEY if the sender requests it.

Please google NOKIA and contact your country of residence for any assistance. The agent that answers your call or replies to your email will have information about any scam that is using their name.

During my 2 years working with Nokia, I heard of many such scams.

I would also say that Nokia DO NOT reply to complaint boards unless it is on the OFFICIAL NOKIA SITE.

Nokia have their own message boards and are monitored by experienced Nokia staff.

I bought this Nokia 5230 phone for my daughter on Dec 17, 2017, and 2 weeks later half of the screen suddenly went dark and stopped functioning. At the local service center we were told that we had dropped the phone or hit it, which was not the case at all! They refused to take the phone back under the above pretext and also refused to pay for the repair of the internal screen. It cost me 92 USD! For a brand new phone! Moreover, the screen goes black at temperatures under zero, so it is impossible to speak outside. I understand that the phone is a sensor one, but it shouldn't be THAT sensitive, should it? I suppose I was unlucky to buy a defective telephone, but who is going to reimburse my expenses? I DO want my money back!
