Its a lie. Get your water tested before and you'll see its a lie.
4 or 5 start review on this product. Was a PPM water test done before and after installing this joke. I spent $1,000 dollars on this junk and many calls to apparently get it right. I realized that after paying plumbers to re-do it twice and many calls to their CS, that this was just BS. I leave in Tampa FL, and our water is not as hard as other places the Tap water TDS is 250PPM and whit this system went down to 239PPM. After $1,000 dollars and and 2 years worth the headache, just to get (-11PPM). This is a joke. I almost forgot, the fact that they do whatever it takes to not show or allow google reviews.
Recommendation: Do not buy it, its a big lie. Believe in honest reviews.
NuvoH2O Water Softener Review: Effective but Beware of Blue Water
I've been using NuvoH2O for a couple of years now and I gotta say, it's been pretty good. The only thing that kinda sucks is when I gotta swap out the cartridges, the water turns blue and tastes kinda funky for a few days. But hey, it seems to be doing its job of keeping everything cleaner, so I can't complain too much. Overall, I'd say it's a decent investment if you're looking for a water softening system.
NuvoH2O Water Softener Review: Total Scam, Don't Waste Your Money
This product ain't worth the money, folks. I was really excited to try out NuvoH2O and get rid of all my calcium problems, but it just didn't work. I followed all the instructions and even sent them samples like they asked, but they still said everything was fine. But it wasn't! I still had calcium issues. They sent me their "scubber" cartridge and tested it again, but it didn't make a difference. I'm really disappointed. They claim that if your PH levels are low enough, it'll work, but that's just a bunch of baloney. It's a total scam, if you ask me. Save your money and don't buy this product.
NuvoH2O Water Softener Review: Great Results, But Installation is a Challenge
The NuvoH2O system is pretty good, I gotta say. It works like a charm, and I haven't had any issues with it so far. But let me tell you, the installation process was a bit of a pain in the butt. I mean, if you're a pro contractor or something, you might be able to figure it out no problem. But for a regular Joe like me, it was a bit of a struggle. I watched the video they provided, and even then, it wasn't a walk in the park. It took my plumber a solid 6 hours to get it all set up.
But hey, once it was up and running, it was smooth sailing. The water quality has definitely improved, and I can tell the difference in taste. Plus, it's nice not having to deal with all the hard water buildup anymore. Overall, I'm happy with the NuvoH2O system, even if the installation was a bit of a headache.
NuvoH2O Water Softener System Review: Blue Water and Terrible Taste
So, I gotta tell ya, I recently had a real bad experience with NuvoH2O. I mean, I've been using their water softener system for a while now and it's been alright, but the most recent replacement cartridge really messed things up. Like, seriously messed things up.
First of all, the water turned blue. BLUE. I mean, what the heck? And it tasted terrible. Like, I took one or two swallows and then BAM, I was puking my guts out and had the runs for days. It was not a good time.
And the worst part? The color and taste didn't go away for THREE WHOLE DAYS. I mean, come on, NuvoH2O, what kind of product are you selling here?
Finally, I had to bypass the cartridge altogether just to get some decent water. But even then, when I tested the water for copper, it was still way too high for my liking. It took another FOUR DAYS for the copper levels to go down to an acceptable level.
So, my question is, has anyone else had these issues with NuvoH2O? And if so, is there any legal recourse? I mean, I don't want to be stuck with a faulty product that's making me sick and ruining my water quality.
Affordable and Effective: My Review of the NuvoH2O Water Filtration System
I gotta say, I was pretty impressed with the NuvoH2O system. The filters are way cheaper than those fancy salt filtration systems, and they seem to work just as well. I mean, my water tastes great and my skin feels softer than ever before.
Now, I did have a bit of a hiccup during the installation process. The plumber who came to my house had no clue what he was doing. I mean, he was a nice guy and all, but he just couldn't get the system to stop leaking. I had to call him back out and he had to redo the whole thing.
So, if you're thinking about getting a NuvoH2O system, just make sure you get someone who knows what they're doing. Even if they're on the approved list of plumbers, it doesn't necessarily mean they've installed this particular system before.
Overall, I'm really happy with my NuvoH2O system. It's affordable, it works great, and it's made a noticeable difference in the quality of my water.
Disappointed with NuvoH2O: A Review of a Failed Solution for Hard Water
I bought NuvoH2O from nuvoh2o.com back in December 2020. I live in central Texas where the water is notoriously hard. I was really excited to try this machine out, but unfortunately, it has not lived up to my expectations. I have been changing the cartridges regularly, but it doesn't seem to be reducing any of the hard deposits in my water. I have had three different vendors come out to check the water this week, and my hardness rating is still at a whopping 22!
As a result of the hard water, my shower door and fixtures are covered in calcium. It's not a good look, and I'm tired of dealing with it. I've decided to replace all of my fixtures this weekend and invest in a salt-based system with a reverse osmosis under my kitchen sink. I also have a Manor Duo unit that is supposed to remove smells and make the water taste better, but lately, I've noticed a horrible sulfur-like smell coming through. It's really unpleasant, and I can't take it any longer.
I've reached out to NuVo for help, but unfortunately, they haven't been able to provide me with a solution. It's frustrating because my house is only four years old, and I feel like I shouldn't be dealing with these issues already. Overall, I'm disappointed with my experience with NuvoH2O, and I wouldn't recommend it to others who are dealing with hard water issues.
NuvoH2O Water Softener Review: Clean Hair & Shower, Steep Cost
I gotta say, I really dig how the NuvoH2O system works. Me and my BF snagged one a few years back and it was a breeze to install. And let me tell ya, it works like a charm. No more hard water buildup on my shower door, which was my main concern. My hair has never looked better, either.
Now, I gotta be real with ya, the yearly cost is a bit steep at around $160. It's pricier than those salt filters and the initial investment is a bit more, too. But, the easy cleaning and filter replacement make up for it in my book.
One thing to note is that the company's phone support isn't all that helpful. They couldn't even give me an estimate for installation costs. My BF ended up shelling out $250 to get it installed, so keep that in mind if you're thinking about getting one. You could do it yourself, but you better be handy with tools.
All in all, I'd say NuvoH2O is a solid filter system. The benefits of having clean hair and a clean shower are totally worth the yearly cost for me. Highly recommend it.
Disappointing Experience with NuvoH2O Water Softener System and Customer Service
I purchased the NuvoH2O system from nuvoh2o.com in July and had a plumber install it. After waiting for about a week, I noticed that my water was still hard and not softening as expected. I decided to call their customer service to see what was going on. The person I spoke to informed me that I had to wait at least 50 days before the water would start to soften. I was a bit disappointed but decided to wait it out.
After waiting for the recommended time, I still didn't notice any difference in the water softness. I called their customer service again, but this time, I was told that they would get back to me. However, I didn't receive any response from them. I decided to call again, but there was no answer, so I left a message. After about three weeks, I finally received a call from a lady who said they were working to see if they could help. She promised to call back, but I never heard from her again.
Today, I called again, hoping to get some answers, but the response I received was not what I expected. The person on the other end of the line apologized and said that they only have a 60-day guarantee. I was shocked and frustrated because I had been waiting for so long, and they had just been making sure that the guarantee expired. They suggested that I get my water company to test my water and send them a picture of the results.
I am extremely disappointed with the NuvoH2O system and their customer service. I feel like I have been misled and that they have not fulfilled their promises. I would like to return this product, but I am not sure what to do. Can anyone help me with this issue?
NuvoH2O Review: A Game-Changer for Water Quality and Appliance Lifespan
I've been using NuvoH2O for over five years now and I must say, it's been a game-changer for me. I opted for NuvoH2O over traditional salt systems for a number of reasons. Firstly, I didn't want salt in my water. Secondly, I didn't want to waste water with the salt system backwash. Thirdly, I didn't want to put salt into the city water. Fourthly, I wanted something smaller in my garage. Fifthly, I didn't want to have to plug it in and run electricity. Sixthly, I wanted something that would help my appliances. Lastly, I wanted something that would help with the chlorine taste in my water and salt systems don't do that.
It's important to note that NuvoH2O doesn't remove calcium from your water, it transforms calcium so that it doesn't stick to surfaces. If water falls on a flat surface and dries, you will see the white ring, but it wipes away with a damp paper towel as opposed to hard water that has to be rubbed away with vinegar. It will descale your plumbing over time, not overnight. It will, by descaling, extend the lifespan of your appliances. Don't believe it? Buy a packet from Nuvo, take a before picture of your dishwasher, and then take an after picture once you've used the Nuvo packet as described by the manufacturer.
I always know when it's time to change my Nuvo filters because my dishes begin to spot again and my water starts to smell like a pool! There is a dramatic difference in the quality of my water with and without the Nuvo.
If you're looking to purchase a NuvoH2O, be mindful of a few things. Firstly, make sure you have a water softener loop. Secondly, if you do have a water softener loop, make sure that loop is tied into your kitchen sink or you won't notice a difference in taste at your kitchen on the cold side and you'll be disappointed. Lastly, make sure that your system is installed with bypass valves. The Nuvo does not come with an internal bypass so if it leaks or if you need to change the cartridges, you will have to shut off your whole home in order to do that or to eliminate the leak if something goes wrong with the Nuvo.
Nuvo H2O System Review: Disappointing Results and Hidden Costs
I bought the Nuvo H2O system about a year ago and I was really excited about it. I have hard water at my home and I've tried salt remedies before, but this system sounded better. The concept sounded great and I really liked the idea of a 90-day money back guarantee. I spoke with a salesperson at the company and they assured me it would work and that the cost would be minimal to have it installed.
I spent over a thousand dollars to buy the system and a couple of additional filters. When I received it, I quickly found out that some of what I had been told was wrong. The actual cost to install the system was something like $600. So, right there I was out significant money if it didn't work because I had to install it to try it. Wish they had not glossed over that fact. Keep that in mind when you think about their free return policy - it is not free at all and practically speaking, it would almost cost more to return it than to just keep it in place if it doesn't work.
And, it doesn't work. I have hard water that leaves deposits on fixtures. When I don't have anything that I use to soften the water, the buildup is very easy to see. Every so often, I go through the hassle of clearing off the calcium/hard water deposit buildup. Big pain. Well, when I started using the NUVO system, I cleaned off the deposits on several fixtures and expected to never have to do that again. WRONG. The system does not work. The hard water buildup came back just like before. Same problem - not solved at all. I thought I might be wrong, so I cleaned the fixtures off again only to find out that for a second time, all of the buildup came back. And, I did it a third time. I can clearly tell anyone interested in this that it does not eliminate hard water buildup.
The other problem - by the time you figure all of this out, you've already spent a lot of money to install the system, you're long past the 90-day period, and you don't really want to pay the money to have the system uninstalled.
In conclusion, I would not recommend buying this system. If you really need to get rid of your hard water, then go with the tried and true salt-water systems that are cheap and at least in my experience, they work. I hope this review helps potential purchasers of the system.
