NxGen MDx is a pretty bad company
NxGen MDx is a pretty bad company. I would give them a zero star if it was possible. Their customer service is terrible. When I called the first time, the lady who answered sounded like she was at home and didn't want to help me. She wouldn't let me talk to anyone else and said her boss would call me back. But they never did. I called again and spoke to someone else who started yelling at me when I asked about the bill. She also said her boss would call me back, but they never did. I've been trying to pay my bill, but they won't help me. They only sent one bill and keep texting me reminders, but won't do anything else. I don't even know if this is a real company or just a scam.

Genetic Testing
I had genetic testing ordered by the fertility clinic I was going to in January 2022.I was told that my insurance should cover the testing, but I would be responsible for the deductible. No problem.
I received a bill for over $13,500 January of 2024. This is not acceptable as I was told my insurance would cover it. I have switched jobs since then and don't have the same insurance. I have tried calling several times and I have left several messages to talk to a manager. The codes indicate that the tests my insurance company did not cover were considered tests experimental. I want a reasonable adjustment to what I owe as I was told my insurance would cover the tests and I would only cover the deductible, which would have been around $6,000 for out of network.
Claimed loss: $13000
Desired outcome: I would like to discuss options for decreased amount as this is not acceptable.

I went to NxGen MDx, LLC to get tested for Covid with my daughter
I went to NxGen MDx, LLC to get tested for Covid with my daughter. I got insurance and gave them the info. I haven't got a bill yet, but they keep calling and texting me about owing money. I can't log in to my billing account online. I've called them like 7 times to try to pay, but no one ever answers. They only call me when I'm at work, so I always miss the call. I just want to pay my bill, man.

This company ain't responding to my bill inquiries
This company ain't responding to my bill inquiries. I signed up for their access for all program, but they keep sending me bills without answering my calls, voicemails, or emails. I even tried their customer service number, but they just sent an email to the billing department and still no response. I don't know how else to reach them about my access for all application. Nxgen mdx said they could lower my bill to $199, but I need them to adjust it so I can pay off my other medical bills from giving birth. I applied on their website a few weeks ago and still no luck.
Received a claim for over $1000 from my insurance provider for testing done by this company a month back. I have scoured aaaalllllllll of my physical mail and my emails since the test was done and I haven't received anything from this company concerning a bill.
I have already tried call their billing line during hours and it keeps going to voicemail (which I left) and I have sent an email request further information which I still haven't received a response to.
Their contact form online keeps giving a "Contact System Administrator" error no matter any option I choose to submit.
Finally managed to get a representative from their billing department who was nice. They explained they only send out a paper bill when the back and forth with the insurance is done (est 30-90 days) and let me know the estimate on their end of the final amount is much lower that what the insurance is currently estimating. Address on file was confirmed as correct so I'll wait and see.
In December , I did a covid test at NxGen MDx, LLC and paid the fee they asked for
In December , I did a covid test at NxGen MDx, LLC and paid the fee they asked for. But now, they're asking for more money - $249 and almost $500 for a test I took about 2 weeks later. They said I wouldn't have to pay more, but now they're saying that *** stopped accepting claims for these tests in March 22, 2022. This was almost 3 months after the tests were done and the results were sent back. They should have followed up on these claims earlier, and I shouldn't have to pay almost $800 7 months after the tests were done. They should drop these new charges since my procedure was completed WELL before the *** stopped coverage. They're even charging me more than double for one of the tests, even though I got the same test both times I went.
I went to a lab that my doctor recommended and they did a test that my insurance didn't cover
I went to a lab that my doctor recommended and they did a test that my insurance didn't cover. The lab, NxGen MDx, didn't tell me beforehand that it wouldn't be covered. I called them and they said they would call me back about the bill, but they never did. I called two more times and they said the same thing, but still no call back. I don't think I should have to pay for this and I want them to cancel the charges.
I went to NxGen MDx for prenatal genetic testing and they told me it would cost me $200
I went to NxGen MDx for prenatal genetic testing and they told me it would cost me $200. I said yes and then they sent me a bill for $834.96! I've been trying to get them to fix it but they won't listen. I talked to my insurance and a Health Advocate program but they didn't help either. They said I don't qualify for the Access for All program. My husband talked to the billing manager and they said they could lower it to $500 but that's still too much. We've been trying to talk to the billing manager again but they won't answer.
So, I got some blood work done and they said they'd give me a price estimate before I did the test
So, I got some blood work done and they said they'd give me a price estimate before I did the test. Then, I got a text from NxgenMDx on 11/7/22 asking if I wanted to know the cost. I said yes and they told me it would be $475. I said no thanks and didn't do the test. But then, on 2/25/23, I got a bill for *** in the mail. I called them right away but got sent to voicemail. I left a message and called back a bunch of times but no one answered. I even tried the chat box on their website but still no response. It's been days and I still haven't heard back from them.
So I got this letter in the mail from NxGen MDx, LLC saying I owe them $249 for a COVID test from January
So I got this letter in the mail from NxGen MDx, LLC saying I owe them $249 for a COVID test from January . But get this, they say some HRSA thing ran out of money in March 2022 and now I gotta pay. How does that even make sense? And it took them 18 months to send me this bill? Something smells fishy here. But they're offering me a discount if I pay up quick, so maybe they're just trying to scam people. I don't even know who these guys are and I have insurance, so why would I pay them? Can someone look into this and let me know what's going on?
So, I went to NxGen MDx, LLC for cancer testing because my fam had a history of it
So, I went to NxGen MDx, LLC for cancer testing because my fam had a history of it. I tried to find out the cost beforehand, but the rep didn't know. Their website said it wouldn't be more than $250 out of pocket, so I went for it. My doc said insurance would cover it, so I wasn't worried. Got the results and moved on. Then I got a bill for $883.34! I called and they said I didn't respond to a text about insurance billing, so they just went ahead and charged it. That's messed up! They only gave me 24 hours to respond. I tried to settle for $250, but they wouldn't budge. They need to contact people in more than one way if they're gonna pull this shady stuff. I don't even know if the results are legit now.
So, I got an email saying I owed $250 for some pregnancy testing I had done
So, I got an email saying I owed $250 for some pregnancy testing I had done. When the bill finally came, it was way more than that! I called them up and they said it was because I didn't pay the estimate before they sent the bill. I asked to talk to a boss and they said they would call me back. I also complained online and they said they were looking into it. I paid the original estimate while they figured it out, but then I never heard back from them. When I tried to check my account later, it said it was closed. I thought that meant they fixed it, but then I got a letter saying I had a negative report on my credit! I called them and left a message, but they never called me back. I called again and they said my bill was already in collections! I asked to talk to a boss again and they said they would call me back, but they never did. This has happened three times now and they still haven't fixed it, but they reported me to collections anyway.
Billing issues never addressed and account has been put into collections
Billing issues never addressed and account has been put into collections. On going issue for over 4 months which I've told has been fixed when I call. Had a medical testing performed which was suppose to be covered under insurance with a payment of $99 from me. Received letters from company about remaining balance. Spoke with nxgen and insurance provider and was reassured issues have been addressed. Now account is in collections and I received a bill for an outstanding balance of $8600 issued on 6/30. Spoke with nxgen and they show a 0 balance but amount is still pending on the collectors. I have made numerous phone to resolve issue, with no positive outcome. I'm extremely frustrated with the lack of communication and professionalism with addressing this issue. I would like this issue resolved with billing and collections.

This business has unethical billing practices
This business has unethical billing practices. First they advertise genetic testing for no more than $250. They sent me a bill for over $5,000. This business has unethical billing practices. First they advertise genetic testing for no more than $250. They sent me a bill for over $5,000. After I provided documentation from my insurance company they adjusted that bill to be $484. I paid this bill on their website, and this payment was deducted from my bank account on 2/19. This company is now claiming they never received my payment and they sent my account to collections. Prior to being sent to collections i confirmed my account balance was zero, again using their website. This company is still claiming to have never received this payment and their customer service billing department response is unacceptable. I have provided proof of the payment made on 2/19 by sharing my bank statement. This issue is still unresolved and the customer service team is unhelpful.

Company says I owe over $13,000 for a one time bloodwork, when in Sept 2020 they told me I only owe $249, which I paid promptly
Company says I owe over $13,000 for a one time bloodwork, when in Sept 2020 they told me I only owe $249, which I paid promptly. To whom it may concern, I had bloodwork for genetic testing one time in January I was told at the fertility doctors office that the bill would be most likely around $100. Finally in September I receive a bill for $249. I spoke to your customer service people and agreed to pay it and I did and there is documentation in your records and mine that you received the payment and cash the check timely. I thought that was the end of it as in Sept 2020 your rep told me all I owe is $249. Now in February , over a year after the services, I suddenly get a bill for over $13,000! I spoke to a Chanda on February 18 she said she did not know why I got this bill and had to redirect me to the claims department. I asked if I could speak to someone in claims she said no everything has to go through her in the billing department, she assured me that she would speak to them and that she would have someone call me back. I additionally requested a letter in writing and signed from your company saying that I have paid in full, which I did not receive that and I never received a call back after My conversation with Chanda. Now about 10 days later I get a second bill for the same dollar amount of over $13,000 but the statement number, Statement date, and due date are all different so I called today February 26 about 5 PM central time and spoke to Marcy. She said she does not work in billing but that she would send an email to and billing department and include a manager and request that they call me back. I also have left a voicemail for the billing department at about 4:50 PM central time same day today. I also emailed them on 2/26. I can't get anyone who knows anything about my bill who is able to speak to me about this. I do not owe this $13,000 nor do I see how in September I didn't owe anything but $249 but suddenly five months later I owe over $13,000.
