Leaving with all my money
I called several times during normal business hours on a Friday and nobody picked up. I left a message and nobody responded to me. I tried to wire money to an account in a bank closer to me, and they LOCK DOWN MY ACCOUNT. And the "Customer Care" number is a USELESS ROBOT that doesn't have the solution to my problem or the option to connect me to a human.
Recommendation: DO NOT USE THIS BANK
Horrendous customer service!
Horrendous customer service! Employees don't know their own policies or procedures. Its taken me over 4 months to set up auto draft for my loan and still unsure if its going to work this time. I have been told several times that the issue was resolved and yet still received letters saying account was over due. Originally told (around March) that it was good to go yet here we are in June with little resolve. I did talk to a manager there today (6 June ) and told again that its taken care of. We shall see. I would highly recommend that you take your business elsewhere.
Horrible place to do business . Got locked out of my online banking. Yesterday I was on hold for 1 hr. Today its been 2 hrs on hold & no contact. Lots of auto - apologies . In the mean time my money is held hostage . I'm out of town & need to pay bills . This is just crazy. Can't believe -- such a bank exists . Can't wait to switch banks . There's got to be consequences for such abysmal customer service & severe delayed non-response. The customer is held hostage . After all this every one in management will still take home 6 or 7 figure salaries & bonuses & i can't pay my bills .
They just merged with with first midwest bank, for the last 2 days i have not been able to contact anyone on the phone, my business account is locked up and can't accept zelle transfers due to not being able to long into there new on point essentials. I can't even activate my new business card or my 2 new personal account cards. OLD NATIONAL IS A JOKE AND I WILL BE LEAVING AS SOON AS I CAN ACCESS MY ACCOUNTS! ONLINE BANKING IS LOCKED OUT AND CAN'T REACH ANYBODY! NO HELP IN BANKING OFFICE EITHER BECAUSE THEIR WORKERS ARE POWERLESS WITH THE ONLINE ISSUES!
The merger of First Midwest Bank and Old National has been nothing but a disaster. Anyone can look on their Facebook page and see that MANY are experiencing unacceptable issues. 2+ hours of wait times to talk to anyone on the phone (or even at a branch), inconsistent statements and inability to access money.
Unfortunately I had no option for a negative rating. My wife and I banked with first Midwest bank, but since the merger with old national bank, our first Midwest debit cards have been deactivated, with no access to anything including cash and we are in *** MO. I have been on vacation since 6/26, with no problems until yesterday. I tried to contact someone at old national bank and was placed on hold for 2 hours. When someone finally answered, they transferred me to someone else for another 2.5 hour hold, with nobody answering and being disconnected. This is an emergency situation where I need access to my funds. Unfortunately there is no emergency number to contact old national bank. Whatever happens to customer service ?

I recently bought a car from a used car dealer. I have been waiting on the payment book for metbook for over a month I just received it on Friday which was june 3rd the payment Was due may 29th period period so now that I received the payment book late they are claiming it is my fault if I am hit with late charges. So because of their inadequacies please I will probably have to pay a late charge late charge because I did not know where to send the payment to address. Also, I would like to add that I have excellent credit and they are trying to trash my credit because of this late payment. I was told by the bank that I should have contacted them. When I left the car dealer my car payment was at 2:32 when I got my payment book my payment book says my payment is $304 a month or a month so I would have been short anyway/late/late charges. This bank is crooked to say the least. I wouldn't let my worst enemy use this bank. I will be sure to use social media to show how this bank operates especially. after reading all of the other reviews about this bank. I should have done my due diligence and research this bank before taking the loan from them long from them, buyer beware.
worst bank ever - if you don't use your debit card at least once during the month they shut down the card. you can't add an external account. if you try to add your first midwest account from another bank the request is declined. some nonesense about maximum number of profiles. i really need to close this account.
I was a customer of First Midwest bank for years , Old National took over , and now First Midwest merged with old national , today 7/11/2022 and they are holding customers money hostage, I went to an old national bank for help and they would not help me , I need my card activated and they keep just saying call the number , call the number to activate and it is now 1pm in the afternoon as of this review, I've been on hold since 9:30 in the morning, I drove to the old national bank on hold and I was on hold when the bankers of old national were telling me to keep calling the number to activate the card , I'm on hold while I do this review . When I do get this card activated I will be pulling my money out of this bank company (old national) you don't do this to people , all my money is in this account. I will urge my family and everyone I know to not bank with old national, especially with inflation and gas prices , you don't do this , I will also be making a YouTube account and will let the public know what I went through as well , and probably take this to the News I am recording my whole experience and hope old national gets the point that you can't do disgusting things like this to people .
They bought out my old bank and the transfer process was brutal. I never received a new card in the mail, they sent a bunch of spam mail and emails, and I had no records of my transactions. I decided to switch banks. Through that process I was on hold for 45 minutes just to be told I had to go in person to close my account, that information was not disclosed on the website. The only location in my area was an hour and a half drive away. This bank switched everything on my account without my consent, and I was left without access to my account and my money for days, disgusting how this is considered an ethical business, switch your accounts before they take over your banks.
There's nothing like a bank selling fear
There's nothing like a bank selling fear. My bank decided for no apparent reason to install an extra layer of security to my online account access, and because of this intrusion I'm supposed to receive a text message of this supposed "security code". well they did not send a text message to my phone so now I CANNOT ACCESS MY ACCOUNT for no reason other then they are MICROMANAGING MY ACCOUNT in the name if "safety". Now, I HAVE TO TAKE TIME AWAY FROM MY NORMAL LIFE TO CALL THIS NUMBER tommorrow and talk to someone I DO NOT KNOW and tell them EVERYTHING PERSONAL about me just to PROVE I AM WHO I SAY I AM! CLOWNS!
I would leave a 0 but can't! Had my card hacked even had the fraud department contact me and still 4 days later waiting to get rein-versed! Called and stated at least 5 to 10 days! $73 and $150! Not happy one charge was in Paris France! This is a joke! When a customer STATES THEY DID NOT MAKE THESE PURCHASES IT MAKES ME THINK THEY ARE ACCUSING ME OF LYING, WHEN THEY MAKE STATEMENTS OF NOT YET CHECKED OUT! I am looking for another bank!
Substandard banking app. Biometrics work sometimes then asks for authentication, so I guess other people got my thumb print . wake the [censored] up midwest. I can give a fake ID and draw money outta someone else account but u won't take my my biometric print?
I received a complete lack of follow up regarding an issue that could have avoid further penalties. The manager I spoke with lacked any remorse for the lack of follow up and continued to reiterate that the issue was mine even though the issue because worse due to his lack of follow up and Customer Services lack of settings the proper expectations. I have been a loyal customer for several years and closed my account due to this.
Every month for the last three months First Midwest puts a hold on my account claiming fraudulent activity. They leave a crytpic text message telling me to call. I call, the number really gives no info as to where I am calling, never able to get to a person, just some recording saying here are your last 50 transactions if they are ok press 1 if not press 2. You press one to approve and it just starts listing more transactions. Each time they close my card without me approving the closure I am left for days with no access to my money and am forced to use Credit cards when I have plenty of money in my account, they cancel transactions and send notifications to companies that the funds are not available. . When you call for help they are arrogant, and act like me, the customer owes them something. Small time nothing bank with a big attitude for no reason. Tying to reach Michael Scudder who is the CEO of the company, leaves you with his receptionist, that used to be helpful but now just passes you along to another secretary, who is just as disgruntled as the rest of the employees at this establishment. First Midwest seems to be the source of the alleged Fraud and I am unsure what they are or are not doing to ensure I am not falling victim without ruining ones livelihood.

I would not recommend having an HSA with Old National Bank for the following reasons. 1. It looks like they charge a fee of a few dollars on the HSA if you do not have medical expenses to charge on the account for a while (fee for lack of activity). Additionally it does not give interest so if you do not have frequent medical expenses you actually wind up losing money and the amount of money lost due to a non-use fee can out way the tax savings that HSA account has. 2. They also charge you a fee of a few dollars if you want paper statements. Not sure if this is standard for HSAs, but other banks I use for normal accounts do not charge me fees for either of the above.
I had had trouble in the past with this bank misallocating my personal information. Here I am again with the similar problem. The employer has our HSA established through Old National Bank, but due to this problem I cannot activate my new card. Therefore, I cannot use the card for anything due to this problem. I have been attempting to get this matter corrected for over a week.

If you are broke and struggling to make ends meet, don't expect this place to protect your money. My wife and I just had our baby, have had to spend almost all of our money on hospital bills and housing repairs. Got down to about $700 in our two checking accounts, and BAM! Old National reached in and stole $9.95 from our meager earnings. So classy and uncaring. If I didn't have so many things attached to these accounts, I'd leave here to only bank with my other bank, USAA. I FEEL SO USED.. Thanks "Old" friend.

I had a personal loan with First Midwest starting 11
I had a personal loan with First Midwest starting 11. I paid on time every month. On May 1, I called First Midwest to obtain a payoff quote and immediately submitted payment for that amount. The payment cleared my bank account on May 4. This morning (7/4), I received notification from TransUnion that First Midwest reported my account delinquent and have sent it out for collections. This may just have been a mistake on their end but I have not received a single notification that my account was "past due." If I had, I could have provided my bank statement to show that I paid the account. Instead they immediately reported me to a credit bureau. I have disputed the credit report.

Was a good experience with FMWB until closing out a loan
Was a good experience with FMWB until closing out a loan. On a joint loan, my father and I had a decent sized loan that we ended up paying off a little earlier than expected. We paid off about 1/3rd of the overall loan in what we thought was a final lump sum payment. After 3 years of not missing a payment, then paying in full, we were apparently left with a ~$17 balance in which neither of us were sent correspondence on. It was only later realized when sent to their collection agency and now our credit is dinged because of this. Instead of offering to fix it with the credit bureaus, they said we could dispute it (already tried). So now we live with the $17 mistake that is now affecting future loan applications. All they needed to do was offer to write in to the bureaus to fix the poor communications. No email, no letters received.

We were pre-approved for a home loan on March 11th by Jo C***, the VP of Mortgage Loans
We were pre-approved for a home loan on March 11th by Jo C, the VP of Mortgage Loans. On April 8th, less than 5 days before the end of our Due Diligence month, Jo C called us to say, "I did not realize this was a horse farm, and this is not a single family home - despite it stating clearly on the title that THIS IS AN 11 ACRE HORSE FARM AND A SINGLE FAMILY DWELLING - so we are reassessing your loan, and will have an answer for you soon on whether or not we will offer you a mortgage." "Soon" did not come for another 9 days, after we were over a week past the DD period, and were due to close on the property April 23rd.
We had multiple items riding on Old National's competence and ability to do business in a timely fashion: The pending sale of our property, the seller's purchase of their new home, and keeping our word to purchase the farm.
NONE OF THIS HAPPENED due to Old National's complete incompetence.
Furthermore, we were told us that we would receive a portfolio loan, and it changed to a secondary loan without our knowledge, which further extended the timeline.
We are extremely displeased with the service we have received from Old National, and doubt the competence of their employees. If their VP of Mortgages screws up paperwork this badly, can you imagine if you get someone who has been trained by her?
In short, DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE.

I hate to put this on the Buffalo Grove Branch, because the real issue I have is with online banking and the customer service team but I honest don't care about how badly FMW looks anymore. It's kinda like how you guys don't care about my money. This year, I got into a little financial trouble, I had to go to the hospital for a chronic illness and of course, Covid plays a part in everything. I opened a loan a while back and was making payments regularly and on time, double payments actually, due to an issue on First Midwest's part for six months last year. I brush it off, I want to get the load paid off. I'm behind for a bit but as soon as I have money, I start making payments. Okay. Then I get hit with a $300+ charge on my account for the outstanding due (despite having made a payment literally the week before). Okay, fine with that too, I mean I was told that nothing was going to change so I had to be. My online account hasn't updated in 3 weeks, I have no idea if the money in the account is mine or what's going on so I'm scared to even buy a pack of gum lest I overdraft. I can't move my money and I don't have a debit card (never received a new one after my debit card expired in March. This neeeeever was a problem before). Charges are being reversed that I MADE WEEKS AGO, mind you, and I'm not authorizing anything. I'm literally just sitting here watching because I can't even use my own money. I don't want a resolution. I don't want a response. I want you guys to know how utterly miserable your customer service is. I want you to know how horrible it is that you guys are doing this shady crap during a pandemic. I want you to know that I will post this everywhere and make sure people do not even look twice at this bank to do anything, not even to spit in your direction. Goodness knows you'll charge $35 for that right? For you who have read this giant line of text, thank you. Do not bank here. Do not open an account with these people. They were good around 5-6 years ago when I first opened an account but they will not care if you fall on hard times (I've been a customer for 9 years). Do your research like I should have done and go to a bank who will care about you as a person...not just your money.

With over 30 years in the consumer services field myself, I understand the value and need to share not only legitimate complaints, but positive feedback as well. Unfortunately, this is not the latter. I cannot begin to share in depth the nature of my dissatisfaction with this organization and the parties who handled my refinance. It was headed by Chris B, loan originator. We certainly recognize that times have changed with the Covid-19 pandemic and I listened to that as an excuse for weeks, and accepted it generally as to be reasonable and understanding. However, the major basis of my complaint, and reason we will take the time to document and share such a poor experience goes beyond just the time it took (over 2.5 months) to get this done. Let's just say had I received the email I got yesterday within the 72 hour period to cancel the loan, it would have been! The loan officer, Chris B, had the worst Communication, Attention to detail, and professional advocacy that we have encountered. He had an excuse for everything and it's apparent his organizational skills are lacking. The outsourced, apparent overseas, loan processor only corresponded late at night (time zone variance I assume.) The Communication amongst them was missing glaringly, and they constantly just kept muffling the process. We nearly stopped the refinance several times and honestly had it not been for the Covid-19 and our attention focused elsewhere, we WOULD HAVE! We had enormous equity in our home, it should've been a straight forward refinance, and I feel quite often we were asked for unnecessary documentation duplicate times, even after producing. We understand the process and business of mortgage lending. BOA and Quicken both begged us to close with them, but had already paid for appraisal and rate was 3.125% so we stuck it out. Our documentation, records, and emails support every bit of the complaints and therefore hopefully real Quality Assurance, Training, and Monitoring will become more of their focus. It's easy when rates and times like this have record breaking applications and hundreds of millions of dollars in profits to be made, but when that dries up, service and professionalism will be the core of those who survive and endure. If their rates are WELL below others and you can deal with unprofessional responses, poor communication and a lengthy process (had excellent credit, all documents, tons of equity, this should've closed in 20 days tops) then use them, if NOT, go elsewhere.

We paid off our mortgage and have waited almost a month to receive our overpayment and escrow money
We paid off our mortgage and have waited almost a month to receive our overpayment and escrow money. Not yet received. Our mortgage with Old National was paid off on July 28. They mailed us a check and we have not received it yet. I understand that they have 10 days to do that. They then send it to another company to issue a check, which they said takes about 3 days. Those 3 days should count in their 10 day limit to issue a check. We have called them twice and the first time on August 17 or 18 and was told it should arrive in a couple of days. Today we called to ask that they stop payment on the check and deposit it to our account electronically, as we have not received the check. We have done on-line banking with them for the whole time we have had our mortgage. They would not do that. It is over 3.5 weeks since they were paid and we are still waiting for our money. It feels like a scam to keep control and use of our money. I think that it is shameful that they take advantage of their customers this way. They are not paying us interest on the money for the extra month that they have our money. We are okay, but it may have been devastating for other families. I would have let this go, it they had merely transferred the money electronically to our account when we asked them to do this. We are still waiting.

My account has been frozen with this bank for a month, and every time I try to contact them I can't get through. I've waited for probably 5 total hours on hold waiting for representatives, and have gotten no response. They say they've taken my number and will contact me, but they told me this over 3 weeks ago. I cannot use my account and they haven't helped me at all.
When First Midwest Bank (FMB) was acquired by Old National Bank (ONB), ONB failed to communicate with FMB members and access to our money was not readily available. Since then, I have contacted ONB several times and opened ticket. Each and every ticket was closed by ONB without any sort of reply or information. I have requested banking statements for FMB for an IRS related matter on my father's estate which I am also named on the ONB account.
I have attached a more detailed explaination as there is not enough room here. Complaint is for unresolved issues after I have reached out to the business directly and they mark my message ticket complete without responding. My complaint also includes a unresolved fraud issue which is preventing a payment from being paid to a nursing home facility which is imperative to my mother in laws care and health insurance.

After over 20 years of banking with then Uptown bank, which became Bridge view back and then First Midwest bank, it is now Old National Bank. And suddenly I can't access my account. The phone numbers changed and when i finally call them, there recording says there's more than a 60minute wait? When I finally get a real person *** she had no idea where my bank account went! And had no information nor did she know what to do.l requested a manager and was put on hold. When manager *** took the call she was just as confused as *** and did not know what to do. When I expressed my frustration that my entire bank account disappeared, *** got "hurt feelings" and hung up on me. When I call back and go thorough the horrific hold time again I get a switchboard person named *** who did not know anything since she is just the switchboard. *** then transfers my second call and I get a voice mailbox of someone named ("*** ") . there is no person in existence that can advise me what happened to my bank account and why I can't check the balance, the recent deposits and debits. And is this the way this new bank conducts business? I have bills to pay and payroll to get out and need to have access to my account in order to accomplish that. To date, no one has contacted me regarding this serious banking incompetence.

I tried opening an account but was never able to get online access. I told them to close my account but they are trying to charge me $27.
Today is 8/26 and this is not only the 2nd but 3rd time ON A FRIDAY where both my wife and I had issues with our debit cards. At first I thought it was an issue with the merger, but it has been months now and it is still occurring. We live in a time where technology and banking have coexisted for years. Normally when a merger happens it's there to improve and advance the business and its services to its customers. This is not the case and I am severely disappointed. Three instances where for no reason at all our debit cards were not working as well as the banking app, on a Friday, where we can't even call to rectify because they're closed and don't take calls over the weekend. Even though banks are open on Saturday's. The reason being? Who knows? What I know is that I want answers and I want a resolution of this matter. Embarrassing to say the least.
Old National Bank merged with First Midwest
Old National Bank merged with First Midwest. I was told that I could access my accounts on X-XX-XXXX via the Old National interfaces via mail. I discovered that I could not get in at 8am. I stood inline at the bank when it opened at 9am to be told that they only had 2 computers up and running and could not help me to get into the online accounts and I had to call. I was on hold for 4 1/2 hours and they hung up up on me. I tried to email via the Old National Website and got a blank screen. I then reached out on facebook to ask what I was supposed to do now. I called back and was on hold another 2 hours before I gave up and took a break. I tried to call at 8pm and they were closed. I tried again to email via the form on the website and got a blank screen. I am livid that 24 hours has gone by and I have not even been able to talk to someone to get my issue resolved. Also, when I was on hold I was told that I received a reminder email on [protected] with instructions to log into my account and I never received one. I did get an email saying that a change was made to my account that I did not do and I cant get ahold of anyone to see what is happening. I also have no idea if my paycheck is going to hit my account because the routing number has changed and I was not aware of the change until today. This is unacceptable business practices and horse *** customer service. Going into day 2...

I have been trying for 2 weeks to resolve an issue with using Zelle through Old National. I have been put on hold numerous times for 45 minutes (I hung up) disconnected when I finally have gotten through and when I have gotten through no one was able to help me. I was told twice that someone would get back to me and no one has. They took my name and phone number, but I've heard nothing back. I can't send any money using Zelle until my "issue" is resolved by calling the number given, but then I can't reach anyone and when I can, no one can help me. Old National seems completely Ill prepared for this merger. When Midwest took over Bridge View Bank, the merger was seamless for customers. Old National customer service has been atrocious! I want them to fix my problem. If it wasn't such a hassle to switch banks, I would have by now.
Since taking over of First Midwest Bank, the Old National Bank, *** ,Il locations issues its customers worn, ragged, old paper currency via ATM's and tellers. The bank does not have large bills of $50 or $100 denominations at any time for its customers.
A fraudulent transaction occurred in *** Illinois where someone with a fake Illinois ID card was able to withdraw $4000 from a joint account with my mother. She and I live in Indiana. We went to the bank branch near her home and signed paperwork to file a fraud claim. We were assured that the money would be returned to the checking account. They also helped my mother order new checks as this was supposed to be free but online code wasn't valid. We were of course charged for the checks. We have had no emails or calls from anyone with old national regarding the fraud case.
During the merger and on 8/20/22 this bank has lock my account on a weekend or after hours for no reason. And the customer service center only operates during business hours. So we as customers have to wait all weekend without access to our funds

I have 3 different bank accounts my name is on
I have 3 different bank accounts my name is on. 1 account was to be closed on May 20, 2022. The person in charge of closing the account did not properly close the account. On May 19, 2022 I opened a new account. Somehow my old account became overdrawn, from not being properly closed. On July 18, 2022 money from my new account was transferred without my knowledge or permission to the old, overdrawn account. On July 18, 2022 I contacted the local *** Ln branch, the local downtown branch and the main Evansville branch. Nobody could give me any answers. My account showed $0.00 at closing of July 18, 2022. The morning of July 19, 2022 my account showed $191 available, but I could not use my card or to any type of transfer. I was told by 2 different associates to go into the bank and do a counter withdrawal. I went in and done a counter withdrawal for $180.00, leaving $11.00 in my account. One hour later, my account showed negative $180.00. The morning of July 20, 2022 my account showed $40.00 available. I still can not use my card or make any transfers. I was told on July 19, 2022 that my card is active and open, even though I can not use it. I have asked asked to speak with supervisors and have not heard back from one yet. They took money without my knowledge or permission, I am being told that nobody knows what is going on and nobody knows how to fix anything. This is very frustrating and unprofessional.

I made an additional $500.00 payment on a loan that I have through this bank on 5/26/22 and it cleared my bank on 6/1/22 but there is no record of it being credited to my account on either my June or July statements. I have been trying to contact anyone at the bank for close to a month now, waiting on hold for well over 90 minutes on the phone each time with no one picking up. Their chat line is down and I've tried every number on their website to no avail. They merged with First Midwest Bank at the beginning of July, but there is no excuse for this kind of treatment of their customers.
On June 25 someone frauded my debit account 2 times. A charge of $500.00 and 2nd of $200.00. I reported it to fraud department as i got a fraud text saying to text no on these transactions. So I did report it was given a provisional $723.53 to my account from Old National bank of *** I only got 1 letter throughout a whole month stating old national was investigating. I looked on my bank account today and old national reversed the fraud on me denying my claim. I should be protected under fraud prevention from my bank however they did not believe that fraud happened on me. I after checking my account after notification text of fraud was shocked this had happened. No letter, no communication from Old NATIONAL bank to me of who stole my money. I have been frauded from this bank before. Old national bank of chaska took my money along with another person on fraud. This $723.53 I did not do and I want my money back with a full report as who and how this happened like I said i wanted when I reported this to my banks customer service on Monday June 27th.
On July 15th, 2022, I submitted a Zelle payment through Old National Banking App
On July 15th, 2022, I submitted a Zelle payment through Old National Banking App. The Banking App did not let me use my mobile number that was registered with Zelle with a different checking account at a different bank. The Old National Banking app did not allow this because they have registered my mobile number with their banking app but it was not registered through Zelle with that mobile number, an email address was registered. The Old National banking app allowed me to place my routing and account number into the Zelle app to send the funds. It stated it would take 1 to 3 business days to arrive to the designated bank account. The bank account and routing numbers were checked and verified multiple times before sending. According to Old National the funds were sent and deposited but they never arrived into the specified account. It has now been 20 days and 14 business since this transaction took place. I now have $700 missing and the bank does not seem to care. This is on top of all the issues that occurred when they merged with First Midwest Bank. These issues include not being able to access online banking for days, being told communication was sent out via US Mail along with email that was never sent out, spending days on hold to get in touch with a representation and spending over a total of 10 hours on hold waiting to speak to someone and once you actually got someone to pick up, I was hung up on. This has been the worst bank merger I have even been through.

On Monday, August 1, 2022, my spouse, who is covered by my health insurance plan, attempted to pay a large medical bill (online) using our HSA
On Monday, August 1, 2022, my spouse, who is covered by my health insurance plan, attempted to pay a large medical bill (online) using our HSA card. The payment was declined despite the account containing ample funds for the payment. My spouse called the medical servicer and tried to pay over the phone, where the payment was also declined. Both my spouse and I tried to determine if there is a daily limit to the amount that can be paid from the HSA account but the HSA servicer, Old National Bank, had no information available on the account website about this. I then attempted to call Old National Bank and was on hold for two hours and ten minutes before a customer service representative was available to take my call. However, in this extended amount of time on hold, I did not realize that my bluetooth listening devices were nearly dead, and as soon as a representative took my call, my devices died. I had been walking to another part of my house, not being able to do absolutely nothing while I waited on hold for two hours and ten minutes, so did not have immediate access to my phone. However, as soon as I realized what was happening I RAN to my phone only to hear the representative hang up on me as a "customer non responsive", giving me only approximately ten seconds to respond when I had patiently waited for two hours and ten minutes. I still cannot access my money to pay our household medical bills. Old National should have better information available to its HSA customers and more responsive customer service.

Contacted Old National concerning a transaction on my account that was fraudulent
Contacted Old National concerning a transaction on my account that was fraudulent. I provided them with proof that the transaction was fraudulent on more than one occasion via in-app email. I had purchased something online (from Cricut) and the transaction came up as a totally different company (tempovolume) for $99.99. After researching, this "company" is known to scam people and never send the ordered product. They create websites of popular products, these sites are eerily similar to the real websites. These fake websites even pop up as the first Google result when making a search for what you are looking for. I provided proof to ONB of this and provided them my emails to Google, the real company, and the FBI concerning this fake company. I filed the dispute with them around the 26th of November and provided screenshots and emails within 1 day of the dispute. Today I received a letter from ONB stating that there was no error in the transaction and that they will no give me my funds back into my bank account. I will never receive this product and ONB knows that as I also provided them with the invalid shipping information that says it is coming from China (the real company is based out of California, not china). I would like for ONB's fraud investigation department to contact me concerning this issue, customer services refuses to allow me to talk to them because the are "out sourced". I would also like for the $99.99 transaction to be reversed and my money be put back in my account. I have provided all the screenshots here as well.

I got a fraudulent charge from a speedway charging me 250 dollars for a gallon of water and 2 energy drinks but my dispute is with old national
I got a fraudulent charge from a speedway charging me 250 dollars for a gallon of water and 2 energy drinks but my dispute is with old national bank because they claim the charge was valid 2 times I tried to dispute it. I called 3 times waiting on the phone for over an hour each time. Spoke with someone originally from first Midwest bank because the charge occurred the day of the bank mergers and they put in the dispute. Then went to the bank after the merger and they said it's being taken care of and reopened a dispute. Got a letter claiming it was a valid transaction because the card was in my possession and the charge couldn't have gone through without my permission even though it was an error of the system somehow. I then called again waiting over an hour spoke to a guy saying he can't do anything to help really. His words were I can send an email to your original branch and they can help you or I can transfer you to my supervisor but I can't do both. So I asked him genuinely what is my best option he said he'll send the email to my original branch in *** Illinois so I then went there to ask and they said why wouldn't you just call corporate but at least put in another dispute for me. Again I'm denied my appeal for a fraudulent charge with no proof of what investigations they did to help my side only that it was indeed a valid transaction. It's really sad when a bank making billions is helping me get scammed out of 250 dollars. Ironically when you wait on the phone it'll explain they are one of the worlds most ethical companies nominees lol. Please help me Complaintsboard.com you're my only option at this point big banks don't help little guys...

On September 2, I made a mobile deposit
On September 2, I made a mobile deposit. Within seconds of doing so realized I put down $100 and it should have been $1000. I tried to call the mobile banking service but was put on hold for over 40 minutes, no answer so I emailed them. This was a holiday weekend and I did a follow up email the next day and saw an auto response to my email first one. I did another call over 35 minutes, I hung up. On Tuesday I called again hold for 35 minute, no answer. I emailed again. I also called my local branch, I was told that it should be corrected by Thursday if not call mobile center but stay on hold until someone answers. No money Thursday so called, 29 minutes a person answered she said she see my check image and the issue she sent the request to the reviewer to correct and it should be in my account tomorrow. Still no money in Friday, a week later, called again 35 minutes later spoke to a person who followed up and said it could take up to 24 to 48 banking hours to which I gave him the all I have done, he filed a complaint for me, sent an expedite request for correction. Monday he called me back, he had had no response to his request involved his manager to help and said he would call once he had an update. This is now Thursday still no money, no update phone calls, no other response to my email but the 1st one. They have had 2 weeks. I an not able to pay my bills, my son college payment or anything else. I realize that I made the first mistake but I am sure this is not uncommon. I still have not idea when I will get my money. They say they are rated as one of the most ethical bank, on what? They only employee there that is willing to help me and he can't get a response.

Discovered Old National charged an unauthorized fee to handle my IRA rollover
Discovered Old National charged an unauthorized fee to handle my IRA rollover. I initially had an IRA CD at *** Savings Bank. They were purchased by Old National Bank. The *** IN location was supposed to handle my IRA Rollover prior to renewal. Unfortunately Old National dropped the ball and did not process it timely. It took several conversations back and forth with *** at Old National and the financial institution in which I was rolling it to to finally get the proper paperwork completed and the transfer done. *** apologized for all the issues I had to experience and never once mentioned that there would be fees or penalties involved in getting my rollover done. It wasn't until I was preparing my taxes that I noticed Old National was reporting my Direct Rollover Amount to be $1,156.97, which included a $0.86 penalty, and AUL (where it rolled to) reported only receiving $1,131.97. My rollover to AUL is short $25. Upon further investigation, *** from Old National Bank stated that the branch that processed my IRA rollover decided to charge a $25 fee for withdrawing the funds. She stated the fee is not reported on my tax forms, I would simply have to tell someone doing my taxes. I found this inappropriate and asked to see the documentation where I authorized such a fee. She could not produce any documents to show I signed and agreed to those fees. *** stated I needed to call the branch to get the $25 reversed. I tried calling the branch, unfortunately it no longer exists. I am stuck with absolutely no help or accountability on Old National's part. I've not only lost $25, but I have lost all the investment gains I would have earned had the full amount been rolled over.

RE: Old National Bank Loan Number XXXXXXXXXX Old National Bank owes me over$1500 that was due to me prior to January 4, 2022
RE: Old National Bank Loan Number XXXXXXXXXX Old National Bank owes me over$1500 that was due to me prior to January 4, 2022. On December 16 I called Old National loan department to get a payoff amount for the mortgage that we have on our home located at *** Ct. ***, WI. The loan was paid off the first business day of 2022. I was advised by Old National loan department to contact the loan department that handles the monthly bank transfer of funds from my credit union to Old National that was drawn upon to make our monthly mortgage payment, $1143.55. I called them and told them that our loan was going to be paid off the first business day of 2022 and they should not make a bank transfer from our account for the January 2022 mortgage payment. On January 3, 2022 Old Bank used a bank transfer to pull $1143.55 from us. I have called Old Bank numerous times to have this straightened out and have been told that a check should be coming for the eleven hundred plus four hundred something due to us based on the settlement of our balance with Old Bank. Based on the language included in the "Mortgage Billing Statement" and the "Payout" statement " a late charge of $31.68 will be assessed 15 days after a current payment is due". I expect the same late charge should be added to my payments as the bank has not hold up their end. There is no reason for this to have happened. Old National Bank has my bank's routing number and they have our bank account which they could use to make an electronic transfer which they have done for years to make our monthly mortgage payments. Old National Bank also sent us a Mortgage Billing Statement with our next payment due of $1143.55 due on February 1, 2022. We need your help in obtaining the funds due us.

I bought a money order from a local currency exchange on a street in Illinois.
I bought a money order from a local currency exchange on a street in Illinois. On 07/05/2022, I purchased a money order for $79.00 and mailed it to my car insurance company. However, the payment did not post, and I was notified that my insurance was inactive due to non-payment for July. I contacted the currency exchange to inquire if the money order had been processed and was informed it had been cashed. When I attempted to stop the payment, I was told it was too late as it had already been cashed by a bank. I obtained a copy of the cashed check for a fee of $15.00, which revealed the name of the endorser. I have the receipt and proof of purchase for the money order. It appears someone intercepted and cashed the check fraudulently. The bank that cashed the check denies responsibility for accepting an altered check. The money order number is unlisted for security. I bought this money order on 07/05/2022 and need a refund as I am a senior citizen with a fixed income living at an address in Illinois. My cell phone number is unlisted for privacy. I am disabled and struggle with mobility. The bank involved is Old National Bank, located at 1 Main Street, Evansville, IN 47708. The check was cashed on 07/22/2022, and the routing number to the bank is omitted for security. The bank's contact number is unlisted, and the bank account number on the money order is also omitted for security. The check cleared on 07/25/2022. My name and address are withheld for privacy. Please assist me. Thank you.

My bank refuses to credit my account back $80 for a pair of beats headphones I got a a scam website
My bank refuses to credit my account back $80 for a pair of beats headphones I got a a scam website. They told me to be more cautious of websites. Are use my PayPal account to order a pair of beats headphones that were on sale for $80. When I saw the charge go through and I'll Chinese characters, I realized I have been scammed. I initially tried to go through my PayPal account but they said I needed to go through my bank instead. I called my bank the next morning explain what happened and they credited my account to $80. A couple of weeks later, I noticed $80 was taken back out of my account. They said they talk to the merchant and said the product was delivered. I tried to talk to the merchant myself and they did not respond. The website has since been taken down. There's nothing I can do on my end to ask for a refund. When I went into the bank to deal with this in person, they told me that there was nothing they could do since the merchant had answered their questions appropriately and told me the product had been delivered. They told me to be more cautious when purchasing things online in the future. Through my own research, I've found this person has been doing this for at least five years. The name of the scam website is just sightly changed. I'm not the first and I'm sure I won't be the last person to be scammed out of $80. I thought at least my bank would have my back but they did not. After my tax refund comes in through Direct deposit, I plan on closing my account immediately. Their customer service is absolutely ridiculous. I'll gladly take my business elsewhere. Thinking about creating a scam website myself since clearly it's super easy to scam people out of their money...so long as you send a crap product to them in a box. Lesson learned. Choose a better bank next time.

I filed my taxes back in January and my direct deposit was set up with my old bank account at old national Bank
I filed my taxes back in January and my direct deposit was set up with my old bank account at old national Bank. I was unaware that it was still set up to deposit to my old account that has been closed for over a year now. I called old national Bank to see if they had received my tax refund check and if they did then they needed to forward it to me at my new addres that was listed on my account online. Instead of them getting back to me I had to call a couple times to get to the right person in regards to this situation. I was finally able to reach someone and was told that my tax refund check was cut and sent via cashiers check- apparently there had been a collections amount on my closed bank account of over $600 that I was unaware of. I wouldn't have been so upset had someone have notified me that there was even an amount left on my account but I wasn't. The branch Representative I'm assuming proceeded to collect $776 of my tax refund check to go towards the collections that was apparently listed. Then she proceeded to send that check to my old address. When I asked why it wasn't sent to my current address I was told because she was unable to reach me when I never received a single phone call from her. She then further proceeded to tell me that there was absolutely nothing she could do for me and that if she mailed it to the old address and that is my fault and there's nothing she can do about it. So basically my tax return check that I am depending on to feed me and my four month old baby during this whole coronavirus situation is floating out there somewhere. I have called repeatedly and left numerous voicemails to any old national bank that is willing to assist me during this time and I have yet to hear back from anyone. I was notified that stimulus checks will be sent the same as your tax return was and I just want to make sure I actually receive it considering the circumstances with coronavirus. I have had a checking account with Old National Bank for the past 12 years
I have had a checking account with Old National Bank for the past 12 years. However on April 25th, a charge went through that left my bank account negative $19.51. This was not something I sent through or had knowledge of. I do all my banking online because I have a daughter with a compromised immune system and with Covid this is the safest way for us. I was having issues logging into my account and I called the bank a few times to get assistance. The service I received was beyond poor and gave me generic answers instead of actually solving the problem. I felt completely annoyed. Then one day I open the mail and the there is a letter saying they are trying to collect for this account. This was the first I'm hearing about it and not from the bank. I was shocked. What in the world? No one ever mentioned on the phone that the account was deficient funds. I was never notified by mail or any other means that their was an issue or this account was accumulating fees. Had I known, I would have paid it. I was responsible and calling the bank about my account. I feel totally taken advantage of. I have never in all my life had a bank do nothing. They really like to take advantage and collect the fees. I've had fraud before and I have always been notified. When I called customer care to inquire on this no one could find my account or help me again. This time I had a letter to help me navigate what it was about. When I got to the representative I asked her about this account. She said a charge went through for $51.78. I told her I didn't know what that fee was. She then asked if I used the site before. When I said "yes" she said "Well, we decide what is fraud." I said to her so your telling me that it's your word against mine?" She said "basically yes." I am being bullied by Old National bank for under $20? I have no options? This is the worst customer experience of my life. You can't silence and refuse to help your customers. Had I got help when I called, I wouldn't be here.
