I had a really bad experience with One Nevada Credit Union
I had a really bad experience with One Nevada Credit Union. They charged me seven times for something that I had enough money to pay for. I had some money in my account, but they still charged me seven fees of $35 each. It was really frustrating. And to make matters worse, when I called them, they were really rude to me. It's like they don't care about helping people, they just want to make money. I didn't get any help from them at all.

One Nevada Credit Union fraud department destroyed 2 $1500 checks that were supposed to be deposited into my account without telling me. I was really upset because I had no idea what happened to my money.
This company done messed up big time
This company done messed up big time. They violated my privacy rights by adding an account to my reports without my say-so. And they even tried to talk to me, which they ain't supposed to do. The law says I got a right to privacy, and it also says they can't add an account without my written instructions. And don't even get me started on them debt collectors. They ain't allowed to talk to me, according to the law.

However ComplaintsBoard has detected that:
- While One Nevada Credit Union has a high level of trust, our investigation has revealed that the company's complaint resolution process is inadequate and ineffective. As a result, only 0% of 11 complaints are resolved. The support team may have poor customer service skills, lack of training, or not be well-equipped to handle customer complaints.
- One Nevada Credit Union protects their ownership data, a common and legal practice. However, from our perspective, this lack of transparency can impede trust and accountability, which are essential for establishing a credible and respected business entity.
So, I called up One Nevada Credit Union and told them straight up that I ain't gonna make no payment in June
So, I called up One Nevada Credit Union and told them straight up that I ain't gonna make no payment in June. I promised them I'd pay off my loan on July 3rd, which is when I get my social security payment. 'Cause, you know, that's how I make a living. But guess what? On July 2nd, those guys went ahead and told the credit agencies that I was behind on my payments. Can you believe it? So, I called them up again in late August to talk about this mess, and the lady on the phone said it was done by some third party. She didn't even know who they were! She also mentioned that they sent the auto payoff info to some place called ***. But here's the kicker, the very next day after I called, they went ahead and reported to the three credit bureaus that my account was closed. And you know what that means? It caused another ding on my credit report, and it didn't even show that I paid off my loan! I swear, it feels like One Nevada did all this just to get back at me. Now I gotta go and fight with those credit agencies to fix this mess. Can't catch a break, I tell ya.
Recurring payments and a frustrating bank experience
I have recurring payments that come out of my account. Today, I deposited money to cover them. The bank charged me a $105 overdraft fee! I only owed $20, but now they claim I owe $96 in fees. I asked the manager to waive them, but was refused. Customer service was no help either. It's frustrating, especially after they offered COVID-19 support. I haven't closed my account only because of the IRS. It's unfair; other banks help their customers, but mine won't.
I had a problem with my bank, One Nevada Credit Union, regarding fraudulent transactions on my account
I had a problem with my bank, One Nevada Credit Union, regarding fraudulent transactions on my account. I discovered these transactions on May 27th at 4:16 in the morning, and I immediately contacted the fraud department. Surprisingly, even after receiving two new cards, my account continued to be targeted because my *** was linked to it. Unfortunately, I was completely locked out of my account and unable to dispute the transactions.
I attempted to reach out to the company, but my bank informed me that they had declined my claim. To make matters worse, nobody bothered to inform me about this decision. They only refunded me $340, which is far less than the total amount of $2400 that I lost. Throughout this ordeal, my bank only called me once on June 3rd to discuss my claim. They insisted that I was responsible for the fraudulent activity, despite the fact that I have been a loyal customer for almost 10 years and have never filed a fraud claim before.
I applied to One Nevada Credit union for an auto loan after having an account with them for almost 10 years
I applied to One Nevada Credit union for an auto loan after having an account with them for almost 10 years. I also had one other previous loan that was secured to build credit with them that was paid in full. I applied to them they denied the loan, and when I asked why was given vague explanations and they refused to answer why it was denied. They said I would get a letter in the mail which was never received. I had asked specifically if it had to do with 2 payments on my credit with *** that were marked as late when I got sick with covid and I had contacted *** and asked them to move the payments out which they did, but it was still reported as late. The one nevada rep told me that the notes said there were late payments. I asked if they reviewed the letter attached to my credit which explained why there were 2 late payments, she said it doesn't matter. They made the decision and if I wanted to dispute it then I would have to wait for the letter, which never came.
I visited the local Bank Office and informed the clerk I wished to close my account
I visited the local Bank Office and informed the clerk I wished to close my account. He advised me to withdraw any remaining balance for the account to close automatically. During the process, I issued a check for my rent and deposited $100 to ensure its clearance. Despite this, the bank charged me a $35 overdraft fee for the rent check on 8/9, ignoring my concurrent deposits of $5 and $10, which should have sufficed. Subsequently, they began levying daily excessive fees without notification. On 8/23, I added another $100 for my car insurance bill of $63.31, unaware of the accumulated fees that had already plunged my account into a significant deficit. From 8/24 onward, the bank continued to impose daily fees without alerting me. By 9/20, they informed me of nearly $200 in fees, to my astonishment. Returning to the Bank Office, the clerk offered no assistance, embodying both outrage and unethical service.
I went to One Nevada Credit Union on June 4th, June 8th, and June 23rd to get my car fixed
I went to One Nevada Credit Union on June 4th, June 8th, and June 23rd to get my car fixed. Every time, they took money from me and said my car was fixed. But a few days later, the check engine light came back on. On June 23rd, right after they claimed to have fixed my car again and took $160.00 from me, the check engine light came on just 3 minutes after I left their shop. I called them and tried to work out a solution because they didn't actually fix my car even though I kept paying them. They said okay, but then refused to give me my money back. So, I filed a dispute with One Nevada. After not hearing from them for 2 weeks, I called to ask why they hadn't returned the $160.00 to my account. They said they were "working on it". Two weeks later, I went to the *** Branch on *** to check on the status. The manager told me they wouldn't refund my money because *** said he didn't work on my car. I said EXACTLY, that's the whole point of the dispute...I showed them the text, but it didn't make a difference.
I recently had a transaction with One Nevada Credit Union
I recently had a transaction with One Nevada Credit Union. There were more than 7 overdraft fees during the 4th of July weekend, and the office was closed for the entire week. I understand that bank employees need a day off, but I couldn't reach anyone to turn off my bank account while I dealt with the overdraft fees. I even put money into my account, but it was taken out of the bank machine's door, almost injuring my finger in the process. I also want my money back from that machine. Finally, I contacted them directly and was only able to resolve 5 out of the 7 draft fees. They said it wasn't the bank's error, but if their bank hours were more convenient, I could have solved the issue sooner. Continually overdrafting someone who clearly doesn't have money in their account is really bad practice. This isn't the first time I've complained to the ComplaintsBoard.com about this. I want all my charges removed and my money returned from the ATM.
I was tryin' to get a refinance, but they ignored me for like 10 whole months
I was tryin' to get a refinance, but they ignored me for like 10 whole months. They said sorry and promised to give me back the money I paid for the appraisal, but I never got it. So, back in November , I started the whole refinance process for my rental property. I paid for the appraisal on November 13. Then they told me I didn't qualify on my own, so they added my husband to the loan application. I sent all the stuff that our loan guy, Kenneth H, asked for. But guess what? They just straight up ignored me and didn't give me any updates or reply to my emails. Kenneth kept askin' for updated documents like pay stubs and bank statements 'cause the old ones expired (probably 'cause they were ignorin' us). Then, on June 4, Kenneth finally responded and said the original appraisal had expired 'cause it had been 7 months. But that ain't our fault 'cause we always sent 'em what they needed. Kenneth said they were super busy and said sorry. He even offered to give us our money back for the appraisal. We said okay 'cause we wanted to refinance with a different bank. But it's been three months now and we still ain't got that refund. I keep callin' and emailin' Kenneth and his boss Leann R, but they don't bother to reply.
