PC Richard & Son a/c service (friedrich split), model: br0412w1a

We have an extended service warranty with your.

We called you over a month ago and asked for service to our A/C unit. To this date, it has not been serviced. Each time, after a very long wait to be able to talk to an agent, we are told that "someone will call you within 24 hours". This has happened more that 4 times.

To this date, the unit has not been serviced

PC Richard & Son service appointment

service appointment for [protected] for C Considine at 140 Springs Fireplace Rd East Hampton NY 11937 We waited all day nobody called us and nobody arrived to fix the wash/dryer combo model FFLE2022MW.

service appointment for [protected] AGAIN we waited all day called the number [protected] at least 5 times during the day. All I was told was the technician is on his way.

You PC Richards has three of our phone numbers and our email address. You NEVER called us to tell us you were not going to do the service. I feel so disrespected, You lost a client. Two days where I could not work waiting for you guys to fix the wash/dryer combo. No honesty, NO integrity and NO reliability.

PC Richard & Son Samsung & whirlpool dishwashers

We purchased a Samsung dishwasher from PC Richard August 2021. During the Spring of 2022, the dishwasher showed an error code (LC, which indicates moisture is detected). The service tech that came out spent approximately 10 minutes in total and asked us who installed the unit. PC Richard had installed it. The service tech indicated that the hose was installed improperly – that it should be vertical, not horizontal. He used a zip tie to keep the hose vertical. He did no other trouble shooting – didn’t pull the dishwasher out etc. Within days, the same code appeared. We called again. The next service tech showed up with a new pump – this was prior to coming to our house to inspect the unit. The service tech changed the pump (again, dishwasher was less than a year old; unusual to need a new pump). A couple of wash cycles/days after the pump replacement, the unit leaked onto our brand new hardwood floor (floor was installed July 2022). PC Richard offered to exchange/replace the unit. We opted for a Whirlpool as the service department suggested that Whirlpool units have better reliability than Samsung. After installation, the Whirlpool unit leaked onto our hardwood floor. I was beside myself. I spoke with the store manager. He insisted that we have a plumbing issue. I insisted that we did not and, in fact, either the install was done improperly or perhaps PC Richard is selling refurbished appliances or floor models. The manager continued to insist that our plumbing was the issue. I was denied a request for reimbursement of a plumbing service call. We took it upon ourselves to hire a plumber. There was no plumbing issue. Next, we hired an independent appliance repair tech. The repair tech determined that the door gasket was causing the leak (approximately 12 minutes into the cycle). He adjusted the gasket which he said was not positioned properly and said it may need to be replaced (brand new dishwasher). He also reinstalled a bottom panel which was placed improperly. We drove to the store where both units were purchased and spoke to the manager that we had been speaking to by phone. We told him exactly what I have noted here – it was not our plumbing, it was the install and a faulty door gasket. The PC Richard Repair tech spent less than 10 min at our house to troubleshoot the problem. The store manager told us he would elevate our problem and get back to us within a day or two. It has now been 11 days and we have not heard a thing! We now plan to file a claim in small claims court and report this to the better business bureau. We purchased both units in GOOD FAITH. We paid IN FULL before taking possession of the units. We were unable to use the units for weeks. We had two leaks on BRAND NEW HARDWOOD FLOORING. The worst customer service we have ever encountered.

Desired outcome: full refund for the cost of the unit as well as the 2 year service contract

PC Richard & Son Maytag refrigerator

Bought a refrigerator from PC Richard.

Confirmed the delivery date online and received a call from the sales rep saying to be home to receive the unit on Saturday.

I waited for it but it never came.

He did finally call after I tracked him down to say the refrigerator was not in stock at the warehouse and I need to wait a couple of more weeks until it gets to the warehouse.

It doesn't made sense to me that we had a confirmed delivery date and the product vanished.

Or maybe it was given to another customer?

I don't know but at least someone from PC Richard should get back to me to figure it out.

He was supposed to call me back with more information but never did.

I also email customer support and explained the situation but no one has contacted me.

This is not a good way to treat a customer. It's frustrating.

PC Richard & Son Oven Purchase

Hello,

I purchased a Kitchen-Aid double wall oven on Feb 19, 2022. Paid in full.

Expected delivery was supposed to be July. Now PC Richards is saying November 2022, maybe (but they sounded doubtful).

I cannot wait longer. So I asked for the SAME OVEN in a different color. PC Richards said sure, but it will cost me another $500.

PCR does not want to honor the price of the oven that I PAID IN FULL, back in Dec. They've been holding my money for 6 months.

So the oven (in a different color) is available now. The oven is already paid for. Yet, PC Richards will not accommodate a simple "switch of colors" to allow me to take delivery on an appliance that I paid for, 6 months ago.

Yes, inflation is hitting everyone. But we closed a transaction, and PC Richards is not willing to honor it.

Desired outcome: I would my order fulfilled with the Stainless Steel Color.

PC Richard & Son LG Refrigerator

On May 24, 2022, our 7-year-old LG refrigerator stopped cooling and had an error code indicating fan failure. After more than 2 months, 6 service calls, 2 new compressor installations, a new fan installed and countless phone calls with PC Richard’s customer service department the refrigerator is still broken. We were told that after the initial service call for which we were charged $217.22 for labor we would not be responsible for parts as the refrigerator was under parts warranty. After the 6th service call we were invoiced $202.26 for a new fan even though we were told we did not have to pay for it. PC Richard’s customer service is of absolutely no help and numerous assurances that a supervisor will call us back have been a complete lie; we have never received a callback from a PC Richard supervisor ever.

It’s been more than 2 months and 6 service calls and we still do not have a working refrigerator for which PC Richard’s has taken no responsibility. We have never had this type of shoddy and dishonest treatment from Best Buy, Home Depot, Lowes or any other appliance retailer. My husband and I will never buy another product from PC Richard again and I will be posting our horrific experience on numerous social media platforms to warn others.

Desired outcome: I want a refund.

PC Richard & Son extended warranty

purchased a chest freezer on 1/11/2020also purchased the five year warranty, called for service was told they will set up appointment for service which they did only to find out they cancelled it the next day because the price would be more they never checked to see the problem. contacted the customer service department they told me the reason was they are going to replace the unit , they they said they will not do to the cost its not my fault that prices went up they refused to service but want me to purchase a newer model at a higher price the warranty states all parts and labor covered which they won't honor that not fare plus theses extended warranty are a scam .

Desired outcome: spoke to customer service and the store asked for resolution they want to give me a store credit i requested that they refund the purchase price plus pro rate the extended warranty cost taxes which would total around $350.00

PC Richard & Son Dishwasher

I purchased a Dishwasher and a junction box power cord. When i received my delivery i only received the dish washer and no power cord. I have been calling and getting nowhere. Guess what, I still have a dishwasher in the middle of my kitchen a whole month later and no answers. I have called over a dozen times and I get know where. I need to talk to someone higher up on the PC Richards chain for HELP. WHY DELIVER THE DISHWASHER IF IT CAN NOT BE INSTALLED

PC Richard & Son Crossover Washer & dryer

Ordered a Crossover Washer/dryer stackable unit for one of my businesses. I was assured it was in stock when ordering and scheduled our delivery today, 6/21/2022.

Got a confirming phone call the night before and received 2 emails with a delivery window. one for 7am-5 and the second from 12-2 (which then changed to 12:30-4:30) 12-2 rolls around and no delivery, so I check again for an update and was given 2-4. 3:45 comes around and no delivery so I call customer service. I'm on hold with 3 people picking up and putting me on hold for a total of 13 minutes. I hang up and call back and got someone who actually got ahold of corporate (another 15 minutes) just to find out the "order was pulled". Not understanding exactly why, I am being told the unit is OUT OF STOCK.

How do you call the night before to confirm delivery, then give me 3 windows of delivery times and the units aren't even on your truck.

I am so disgusted and disappointed in the service we were given today. I have always ordered for my home and my businesses from PC Richards. This will make me think twice about ordering from you again. We are a business, we rearranged our entire grooming room expecting delivery today. Now I had to scramble to find another unit from someone else.

Very disappointed.

Passed by the ozone park store. Was going to go in but there were giant speakers outside blasting music. Extremely loud. I didn’t feel welcome. It looks and sounds like a 99cent store. Won’t be going back.

PC Richard & Son fridge

I purchased a fridge on February 5, 2022, I received it February 12, 2022. on June 6, 2022 the fridge went completely hot. I called PCR customer service, they told me they cant get anyone to me until June 10,2022. The technician came and said the fridge have a blockage and he will order a small part for circulation, it should only take up to 3 days to get the parts back he also took pictures with his phone. On Wednesday June 15, 2022, I called for an update a young lady answered and said THEY ALREADY ORDER MY DOOR FOR THE FRIDGE! at this point I'm confuse because that's not what they technician said and the door on the fridge is fine. The call got disconnected I called back I got someone else his name is shai or Shay he told me the same thing about a door I explained to him the inconvenience at this point because I have no fridge at all, and if they send a door its going to be the same problem ,there wasn't much he could do I ask to speak with a manager he put me on hold for 5-10 mins came back and said the manager WINSOME will call me back. At 5 o'clock I called back for an update because WINSOME didn't call and she still haven't call by the way smh Michelle picked up and told me that she saw in the system that there was a request for a new fridge to be delivered, but they have to go through the manufacture because I only had the fridge for 3 months. on Saturday I called again I spoke with a PATRICIA first thing she said is YOUR SAMSUNG DOOR IS ORDERED! confuse again because the fridge is NOT SAMSUNG! NOW WHAT IS REALLY GOING ON HERE! she couldn't give an explanation she just start GIGGLING IM GLAD SHE FIND ALL OF THIS FUNNY! she said there was no one there to further assist me. NOW TODAY IS 6/20/2022 I CALLED I SPOKE WITH MARK HE SAID HE WILL CALL ME BACK BECAUSE NO ONE WAS PICKING UP THE PHONE IN THE PARTS DEPARTMENT. I WOULD LIKE A MANAGER TO PLZ REACH OUT TO ME BECAUSE ITS ABOUT TO BE A MONTH WITH NO FRIDGE! my email is yanique.[protected]@aol.com

PC Richard & Son KitchenAid dishwasher

In March of 2020 I purchased a KitchenAid dishwasher (Invoice # [protected]) with a 2 yr extended warranty. In May of 2022 said dishwasher stopped working! PC Richards serviceman ($200) said it needed a new main control panel. Two weeks later we were told the panel was no longer available! Sooo now we had to get a new dishwasher and you can probably guess I wasn't going to purchase it from PC Richards.

When the new dishwasher arrived and the installer came to install, he found he could not get the KitchenAid dishwasher out! It had been installed in a manner that made it impossible to remove. I then called PC Richards ("we service what we sell") to send a serviceman to uninstall the dishwasher they installed. The man I spoke to when I called (while difficult to understand) was not being very helpful with my situation so I asked if I might speak to a manager. He said he would connect me and then hung up (this after lots of minutes waiting for him to return to our conversation). I very much need this KitchenAid dishwasher to be removed and hope you will assist me.

PC Richard & Son Service for Samsung dryer

I have been waiting for three weeks to get my dryer repaired. The company canceled my original service date. Then sent a tech that did not diagnose the problem correctly. They then sent another technician that came with the wrong parts and could not repair the dryer. I was told that they had to order parts and when the parts came in, my repair would be scheduled immediately. Well the parts have been in for over a week and now I have been given a service date two weeks out. I have had to miss three days of work and now have to wait for a repair that should have been taken care of weeks ago.

The service reps assured me that I would get a call from a representative that could address the problem but no call has come.

PC Richard & Son Subzero Refrigerator / ordering and delivery

On or about June 8th 2021 I have placed and order for subzero. refrigerator ( order # [protected]) . At that toem I was told that refrigerator should be delivered around October 2021, later it was. changed to November, then February then March. I received a call from PC Richards and son representative and was told that refrigerato finally arrived and should be delivered on March 22. Few days before delivery date I was informed that the refrigerator was no longer available and I was informed that Subzero "pull it out".

I have contacted Subzero and it turned out. that Subzero does not deals directly with PC Richard but only with distributors/warehouses and the information I received was incorrect. I have contacted PC Richards again in person, and spoke with manager ( Pedro) who was kind enough to spend time with me and listed to the whole story. Next day I recived a phone call from him to infom me that my refrigarator "just arrived to warehouse" what a concident. Anyway, delivery was scheduled on May 25th ( 11 am- 2 pm) however I have called and tried to get some information and it is already 4 pm, none of the representative are available to speak with me at this time, I have asked for Pedro who stepped out and Solomon left for the day. I am officially reuesting an investigation in PC Richards practice of manipulation and gray market deals involving my order.

PC Richard & Son Damaged range

While remodeling a home, I purchased an expensive LG gas range. I purchased in November 2021 and it arrived in January 2022. I was not there for delivery, did not sign any delivery form, in fact, I was not made aware of the delivery. With that being said, I was unable to examine the item upon delivery to send it back. The box was opened this month for install and the range had significant damage. The damage was caused by a lot of force as if the warehouse dropped a refrigerator on top in the warehouse. I am told by PC that they cannot replace the item because it has been over 30 days since delivery even though it is clearly just out of the box.

LG is unable to repair the damage because of how extensive the damage is. The LG technician told me that PC definitely owes me a new range but alas, I cannot reach anyone with the company. I am now having to file a formal complaint with the Attorney General of the State of NY for PC Richard not upholding their agreement. I would add photos, but I am also struggling to receive those from the repair company that came out.

I will NEVER purchase from them again. I am out over $3,000 because no one is willing to claim responsibility!

PC Richard & Son Samsung Refrigerator

on 6/12/21 I purchased a Samsung Refrigerator at store #45 in East Brunswick , nj. It was a floor model with damage on freezer door handle. Management promised me replacement of freezer door. It's now been 8 months and still no replacement. I returned to store on 4 separate occasions, speaking to both store manager and supervisor. They keep telling me it's on order. Can you please help resolve issue.

PC Richard & Son My home got damaged and so did my refrigerator

Good afternoon,

My name is Theodora Slone and I got a new fridge yesterday 3/3/2022. The two men that came did not bring a moving dolly or a moving blanket. They scratched my hardwood floor, my kitchen floor, they scratched my molding as well. I am so upset- I just did an entire remodel of my home and work very hard in my day to day life. When telling the guys they were creating damage they did not care and were unkind. They dragged the fridge out of the house and into my home as well.

Desired outcome: I would like money because now I have to repair my home. Also, the people PC richards hires should be kinder/ more caring about other people's property.

PC Richard & Son Portable compact washer

I purchased a compact washer and a 5 year warranty. It was delivered out of the box. Not only didn't the delivery men do nothing with installation but failed to deliver a part. On top of the washer was a paper which says do not discard packing until all parts are accounted for. There is also a picture included of the part which is packed on the top of the box. I don't know when or if I will ever receive the part. PC Richards delivery and customer service is terrible!

Desired outcome: Part is supposed to be ordered. Date of delivery ?????????????? I want everything that I paid for!

PC Richard & Son Bosch Dryer

I bought a $4500 washer and Dryer with a waurentee that if it didnt work would have service and a new one. I called for 2 weeks every day! finally got a service person that cancelled twice last minute. First time the night before and second time an hour before! I can't be without a clothing dryer for 3 weeks! total scam! I want a new dryer delivered to my apartment this week! I am getting nothing but a run around. PC Richards lied and sold me a bull, service agreement! you don;t stand behind your products or service! I filed a complaingt with the BBB.
