I chose Planet DISH as my provider because they promised a $100 gift card. However, I haven't received it yet. It seems like they lured me in with this offer and then didn't follow through. I'm starting to think it was a bait and switch tactic. In contrast, when I had Xfinity as my provider, they always delivered on their promises. If they said they would give me an award, they did it without any hassle. When my contract with Planet DISH expires, I'll definitely be switching back to Xfinity. He came right after the snow let up and we live way back from the road. That didn't stop him. He walked in on foot till my husband came home. Walked back and forth, never complained or said anything. The HughesNet guy wouldn't even try to come back, and it really wasn't an issue for the dish guy. He just worried about getting stuck, but my husband snow blowed for him. The guy even shoveled a little in front of our home by the front door! Thank you to Dish for awesome service and being the first to actually come back to our home where others fear to tread.

I ordered dishtv on May 17, 2018, and they said they would come install it on May 18, 2018. But then I got a call from someone asking if it was okay to reschedule for the next day, May 19, between 8 and 12. Can you believe it? I kept getting texts all day long, saying they had to push back the installation. Finally, I got another call saying they would come on Monday, May 21, between 8 and 12. This morning at 7:40, they called me again to reschedule for 12 to 2. But I couldn't be there at that time, so right now, I still don't have any service. I am so mad! Thank goodness I didn't get internet from them too. I had to pay $49.99 for their so-called "service," and I'm going to complain about them everywhere I can. I really wish I had gone with Direct TV. I will never use Planet DISH again!
