payment not received - absolutely no service
In june 2015, I sold an account on player auctions for an agreed upon price of $599 usd. The payment was received to player auctions, delivery was confirmed by player auctions and the buyer. The buyer confirmed he had access to the account and that it was working. He then gets it banned, under his ownership and then asks for a refund from player auctions. The delivery was confirmed and it was banned under his jurisdiction, and I have not received my payment from player auctions. I have sent dozens of emails, absolutely no responses. The customer service is dispiscable, everytime I went on live chat they assured me I would receive a useful response and never did. Do not deal with these crooks. They will not pay you, even though they gaurentee payment upon delivery. They will not pay you and will ignore you and hold the money, they have not paid me or given a refund to the person wanting a refund. So they are holding the money for themselves. It has now been 4 months and still haven't heard anything from them, the order still says processing on the webpage.

I am a seller on playerauctions and went through my first 9 orders without a problem. However, the past seven orders I have been ripped off by playerauctions. Each resulted in me subsequently being temporarily suspended for reasons they "could not disclose" and needing to email them to get myself un-suspended. Each of my disbursements were held and customer service refused to pay me. Playerauctions is a group of thieves that just want to make a quick buck. Do NOT use them if you are at all concerned about the safety of your money. They have conned me out of 7 accounts now and stolen over $500 from me. I will be looking into options to pursue legal action against them.
account suspension, without refund of denied purchase
I recently tried to purchase items for a video game I play, I have done this many times but this recent time, after I payed for my items, my account was suspended for "Being linked to multiple accounts" so I am unable to access my account to cancel the order. I have yet to receive my money back.

I have sold two accounts on player auctions for over $130 usd, and they have failed to pay me. I have contacted customer support over 10 different times through email to change my disbursement email to my correct paypal, and they have told me they were going to do so. It has been over a week, and I have not yet heard from customer service, nor has my paypal disbursement email been changed. I have not received money, and feel as if I am being scammed.

Ordered from PlayerAuctions and really disappointed. Their mailing system which is apparently a critical part on the website is not functioning. No clear announcement on any social media pages, and yet they are allowing people to continue to buy/sell products/services when nothing can be processed. No real estimate given on when the website will actually be fully functional. Even with the nature of this business, I assumed they would be a little more professional about this ordeal and mediate the whole situation better. Makes me question whether their insurance and other policies hold up to what they advertise.
Would approach website with caution. If the middle-man (PlayerAuctions in this case) cannot appropriately resolve problems in a timely manner, one must consider whether it's truly safe. Poor communication and resolution has led me to leave this negative review.
I'd like to add that I felt like the customer representative assumed that they could impose some general message as a form of 'empathy' when all I could feel was apathy and a simple copy-paste message, or just a generalized message that is probably generated for situations they're experiencing. 24/7 Live Support is not really supported, if their live-chat service is offline (almost all afternoon until 10 PM). They use a support ticket system, that takes longer than 12+ hours, and will only give the most unsatisfying and generalized responses. Makes one wonder if they actually read and contemplate the problems their customers are having.
As a first-time customer with PlayerAuctions, I can honestly say that it was a terrible experience. PlayerAuctions refuses to accommodate for inconveniencing their customer(s), and simply asks them to wait for an indefinite amount of time, which they won't disclose.
One proof of their inefficient work ethic: Their mailing system, which is according to them, a central component to their entire website (won't let you sign up, change passwords, receive any e-mails back, basically everything), was down the whole entire day, and is still down (Second day, possibly longer). No ETA as to how long it will take to fix their problems, and no announcements/notices/alerts from PlayerAuctions to members, both buyers and sellers, and simply hopes that everyone will be okay with a 24+ hour processing time.
When the website PlayerAuctions claims to complete processing of verification of payment within 24 hours, one would assume that within 24 hours it would be complete. However, it has taken longer, and the company refuses to do anything about it other than apologize. Truly disappointing.

I will start off by saying I have done a few thousand USD in transactions on Player Auctions and they went smooth. It was on my most recent transaction where I ran into serious issues. I sold a World of Warcraft account for the $150-200 range and was to receive payment in the $100-150 range. The payment was never disbursed to my account.
I have sent player auctions several emails as well as contacted their chat twice. The first time I contacted their chat I was told I had to send an email to them about the issue. I contacted the chat 3 days later to follow up on my email. The chat rep said my email is in the wrong format and I had to send another email using their format (I was never told of a format by the first rep). I sent an email again this time using their specific format.
Once again I received no response to my email. I contacted their chat reps a third time and informed them I would have to recall the account if they do not pay me. The chat rep told to me to hold on... 15 minutes went by with no response. The rep came back and said I would have to call Paypal to fix the problem. I had already talked to paypal and they do NOT have any money from this company going to me. I informed the chat rep of this and they disconnected the chat session.
It has now been almost 2 weeks since my account sale and I have not received payment or any response to my emails. This is obviously an attempt to run off with my money at this point.

They have the worse customer service, I bought an account from a seller from their website they then block me because I asked another seller if they could paypal invoice me because playerauctions.com check out system did not have paypal available at the time, their website is buggy as hell they say they offer Paypal as a payment method but when you go on the check out its not available
Now the money has already been paid for the seller account, but because playerauctions.com suspended my account there is no way for the seller to receive his money because in order to do so, I have to log in my account and accept click a validation button to clear the order.
The seller thinks I have scammed him because he has yet received his money, I contacted player auction support, but they have a chinese support team who basically do not care and do not respond to the live chat, after several mails to playerauction urging them to release the funds to the seller they have ignored all the mails and kept the seller money.
If you plan to sell or buy account on this site be warned they either keep your money or suspend your account with no warning, Their customer support are non existent and do not care about your issues its like talking to robots.
Stay away from this chinese trading site they ruthlesss and will keep your money. You have been warned

These A-holes won't fix anything. Your best bet is to dispute the charge with your bank, paypal or credit card company (however you paid). Good luck. This "Social Media" used to help but now they do nothing but sit there and post junk unhelpful to those of us who need HELP.

I was selling an account on the website. A level 90 cleric. When the buyer tried to scam me and got the account banned. I contacted PA (Playerauctions) several times to let them know what was going on. Each and every single time they just ignored me or told me whatever to get me to go away. Since the buyer got the game account banned, PA had to do this "investigation" which all they did was forward emails between me and the buyer over a month. They literally made no decision or even tried to help for over a month! So after I complained enough they decided to get me 90 dollars credit just to take the 90 dollars credit away. They took the credit away because of another order. On that order I was selling an account and then cancelled the order because it didn't have ONE item that I thought it did. A friend gave me that account so I just assumed it was all there. The buyer still wanted to buy the account and did. PA closed my account for that because they said I was selling second hand accounts. Which they allow! When listing your account for sale there is an option that says "I am not the original owner of the account" So they conveniently closed my account right after they gave me the 90 dollars credit. They said I have to pay 450 dollars to get my account back plus a 300 dollar deposit. I told them no and then they said they are going to take my 90 dollars credit away. Which they did. They said if I file a complaint on any site that they will say I was selling second hand accounts, which again, they allow. I've sold plenty of accounts on PA and I listed them all as second hand accounts because PA asks for your personal information if you say you are the original owner. I do not feel comfortable giving Koreans my ID, a bill in my name, and my SSN just to sell an account. This company is a scam fest and they should be taken down asap.

robbed me of $260
-warning!-sold a lol game account and was never paid. Money is stuck on "queued for immediate processing" for over 2 weeks. Live support keeps saying that they can't do anything. They keep telling me to contact mediation but mediation team is inexistent and never replies so money will never be released. I was robbed of 260$.

I never really understood why it takes 72hours for Player Auctions to give the seller their money after selling an account with your website.
Having a long chat with, what seemed to be, someone that couldn't speak English well so I couldn't really understand the person.
So now I'm here asking why it takes Player Auctions minutes to receive a payment from the buyer and then days to give out the funds to the seller.
I'll never use Player Auctions again. They take a fee, terrible customer support, and hold onto your funds for no precise reason.

The company fraudulently requested my credit card number in order to verify my identity. After charging an amount to the card and having me enter that exact amount on the site, they still did not mark my identity as verified and allow me to use any payment methods other than a money order to use their services. It was advertised as saying if I went through the "identity verification", that I would be able to immediately use Paypal, credit cards, and other payment options for their services. Instead, they made the charge, verified my identity, and then kept these options locked. It is my complaint that this is fraudulent and merely a scam to get people to give them their credit card information. I have been a customer of this company for 18 months and have made several purchases with them without ever having to jump through this hoop in the past.

Paid for an in-game item service. Playerauctions was not able to complete the order in the safe manner without getting the account banned/locked. I sent numerous emails to Tina and [protected]@playerauctions.com explaining my concern over my order. I also forwarded emails from blizzard showing them locking my account 3 times and banning it temporarily until I could prove account ownership by calling in. My account was on the verge of being permanently banned and the power level seller showed no disregard and wanted to continue with the service without considering the danger to my account. So I canceled the order and explained to the seller I would not be continuing with his service because of the activity such as account locks and banning were occurring. I sent multiple emails to support as well as to the seller explaining this and didn't get any response with the exception that he was willing to give me a 20% refund even though he was not able to deliver in safe manner. Tried many times to resolve this with playerauctions and the seller and feel that you did not uphold to our agreement. I've been well over $1000 on their service and expected much better customer service. I will no longer be using the service and will not recommend to anyone. The order was not complete and blizzard restored everything back.

Paid $82.28 for an account. After 24 hours account information was not received. I filed for a refund. Now they are saying that it takes over 2 days to received any type of refund. I do not know if this is the new china or what. This has to be one of the most poorly ran companies I have seen so far. I have been in this type of business for years, and have never come across a company that is ran this bad. I would never do business with them ever again. How many companies out there say to you "Oh well you gave us your money but we are going to hold onto it for a few days before giving it back." If I had to rate this company. It would be a "F".

PA is demanding unaltered, color digital copies of US Driver's License, Passport or credit card billing statements to verify my transactions. I have carried out 7 transactions with no problems whatsoever. I find this type of fraud prevention to be counter productive, as it releases highly sensitive personal documents (including a picture) to unmonitored third parties. Additionally, after repeated emails to the company asking why they needed this information or if there was any alternative they failed to respond. Realistically, a simple phone call between the company and myself would have erased any concerns that they may have had regarding the validity of this transaction.

Truly lazy internet company, that constantly lie to your face, and couldn't care less about your situation.
I sold a World of Warcraft account through Playerauctions.com almost a month ago now. I still have not received my money. Their customer service is a joke. I have over 7 different online chats, and every single give you the same robotic response. Not sure what country these workers are ACTUALLY in, but its quite obvious they are reading off a script. I had to change my disbursement method, from Paypal to Moneybookers. They said it could be done via email, in 24 hours. Guess what, it's been 3 weeks now. Like I said, I have several chat scripts that I copied and pasted into my own folders. Sent them over 8 emails, requesting to change the disbursement method. These guys are slime. They hold onto your money, and couldn't care less about how fast you actually receive it, if EVER.
They constantly find ways, to blame YOU for any situation. For example, there was a solid month where I couldn't even log in to the website to check the status. This was on 3 different computers, using every browser I can think of. Guess who they threw the blame on.
Every single "Online Chat" will give you the same crap, 24 hours you should get a response. Of course that never happens. Been over 3 WEEKS!
STAY AWAY FROM THESE SCAMMERS. How they got an A rating on the BBB, is beyond me. Some obvious corruption there.

PlayerAuctions is a total pile of crap. I purchased a runescape account, and was told by their highly incompetent customer support officers that insurance was provided by the seller. On top of that, after the purchase was completed, I received an e-mail that said the following:
Your game account purchase is backed by our Lifetime, 100% Game Account Security Guarantee: All game accounts purchased on PlayerAuctions are fully insured against the rare e vent that they are ever irrecoverably reclaimed or suspended due to the previous owner.
After a few weeks, Jagex locked the account as they suspected it stolen. The seller isn't responding to either me or PA so I cannot get the right info to get it back. Now, I'm being told, literally "to set your expectations, we will only be able to help you to recover the account" even though I was given guarantees. This is blatant mis-selling. I've been totally ignored by CS officers and staff. E-mails never get returned. One CS Officer actually left the conversation when I said if they can't get my account, then I demand my money back. Their advertised guarantees and `buyer protection` is a pile of ###.
I do NOT recommend using this poor excuse for a business to purchase anything, unless you're willing to lose every penny you put into it, and expect little to no care or help from their incompetent team that use automated responses and basically ignore whatever you say and just repeat the same crap over and over.

I am no longer interested in using the site playerauctions.com in which I've been a member of for years. I have asked them repeatedly to remove all my personal and billing information from their computer systems and they have refused telling me that they will only "suspend" my account and that I can "unsuspend" my account anytime in the future so that I can use their service again. I told them again I do not want my account suspended (which means they still save all my personal and billing information) and that I want it completely deleted so that I cannot log in with that account any longer and therefore having all my personal and billing information deleted. They refuse to do this and can still access all my information including billing.

These people are scammers. I had my account suspended for no reason. I had bought something from their site and never gotten it and they accused me for fraud. I had to fight for few weeks and eventually got my money back. I have asked them nicely about 20 times to take the suspension off my account so I could sell my world of warcraft account. It would take them weeks to respond (unbelieveable) and at one time, I got an email saying that they have taken the suspension off but it is still suspended. I had to ask them what game they are playing. Three weeks now with no response. Avoid this web site or you will regret it.

My payments for playerauctions via paypal are going through, to quote paypal here is what they are saying: "Your order status is “Pending” because the merchant has received your order but hasn’t processed your payment yet. Most merchants will complete your order a few days after they receive it. Some merchants wait until they’re ready to ship your order." Thus the problem is they can not go into their paypal account and simply click Accept next to the payment and manually push the process through. Customer support does not satisfy at all. Live support is unable to help with any payment issues as they are just given access to the same information I have. eMail support is not any better as they have been telling me the same thing over and over again. Phone support does not even exist.

Received an email from [protected]@playerauctions.com stating that "As Reported by Individual member with strong enough evidences, you had been verified as member who had offsite trading behavior" After reading what offsite trading behavior is on their site, I know very well that I had not done anything of that nature. I use the site because it is secure and denying me access to the site unless I "We had suspended your PlayerAuctions account for 3 days, and fine you $150 for this. Also you need to keep a double deposit level which is $300 in our deposit account if you want to reactivate your account on PlayerAuctions. Please send your total payment $450 to our Paypal deposit account: [protected]@playerauctions.com and contact us once done, thanks." To me this is a web site trying to blackmail people for money. They are making baseless accusations and trying to profit from it. As far as I am aware that is a illegal practice for an American business

I *ing hate PA but I make so much money off their platform. It feels like it is one or two guys who answer the chat all day and just use a different name. Their responses always have a thinly veiled go * yourself to them. You swear, you get banned, you ask for your powerseller deposit back, you get banned and so on and so forth. Anyways, to vent, I am going to be posting my PA support run-ins.
