Account setup and poor customer support
Myr first experience with this company has been extremely concerning. I recently opened up a new account with them on 1/25 and immediately had issues with my account being locked. I searched and realized they only have email correspondence and not the phone number of a chat feature. A bad sign going forward with any company. I was contacted by John (who knows who you are really chatting with) that an account already existed. Which I thought was strange since I've never been to the site before or even knew about PlayerAuctions. I continued to follow up by email and kept asking bout how that could be since I've never opened up an account before. After about four emails I get a response from Ann who stated the following:

Thank you for your email regarding the suspension of your account. In order for us to reactivate your account, please provide the following documents:
1.) A clear and colored photo of your government-issued photo ID. (e.g. Driver's license/ Passport/ Identity card).
2.) A clear photo of you or a "Selfie" while holding your ID beside you. Your face must not be blocked and should be clearly identifiable.
Also, please fill out the information below:
a. Full Name
b. Address
c. Phone Number
Please be advised that providing us with fraudulent information may result in the permanent closure of your PlayerAuctions accounts.

The clack of clarity to my original question is bizarre. They ask that I'm required to send a photo of myself with my ID, a close-up of my ID and my address and phone all be done by conventional email to troubleshoot some kind of fraud/scam is crazy! Is this even Legal!?
On 1/26/22:
I stupidly sent them the photos including my address, email, and phone number. This is very sensitive data to be shared over conventional email. Assuming they are looking into the issue to see why my account is locked. Possibly another account matches the same details?!
I instructed that once they look into the issue I wanted to cancel my account with them and never do business with them. This is all so bizarre given my experience with so many other online companies including my CC, my bank, and my investment accounts. This is way out of the ordinary and hope I don't have further issues down the road with my identity.
I'm awaiting a response and will update this shortly. A very unnerving experience

I just did some online searching and found out that the main office is n China (shanghai) which explains some of the bizarre poorly written emails I've been receiving about my account. It worries me even more that I had sent my DL, a Photo of myself holding DL, email, phone number, and address. Yikes! There is no protection of your data when you send it to a country like China. They are all about data mining your information. Do some further research online and you'll see why I'm so concerned. Don't be stupid like me and share your personnel information with them. I just hope my data does not lead to scamming issues.
Continue to have issues with PlayerAuctions email support. Very poor clarification in emails and the best explanation unfortunately after about 8 emails later has been from Richard on this posted complaints board. Again I want to stress they are asking for your driver's license and photo of yourself, email, address, and phone number all over conventional email! I Cannot get clear responses from the staff and there is no chat feature or phone number. I'll never do business with this company will post my experience to other sites as well.

Refund
I paid with Gpay and they started requesting more and more detailed personal information after sending my pictures they required more so i deniend to send more and cancel the order #8476322 on January 15. Now 7 business days passed and still don't get my money when i claimed my money from them they said that they released my money but nothing happens and i didn't pay with credit card.
On January 14 i got a debit trying to buy an account more than half a month passed and i don't have it back until this date i don't have my money in my account, the cancelation was made on January 15 because they wanted more private information for "verification
Still no new about my money Playerauctions are harming me with more than 10 business days and no solution like they can't track where is my refund.. they don't have any responsibility just sending automatic messages that they released my money but it is a lie since the cancelation on January 15 they don't give any clear answer or solution and the problem continue to scale.
Refund not received
Made a payment for around 85 dollars to Playerauctions on the 11th of january. The payment failed due to unknow reasons, it was stuck in pending for a while.
I used the method "RapidSkrill" because on the website from Playerauctions it stated that if payment fail and you use the method "RapidSkrill" the money will appear instantly back on your bank account. This didn't happen. Therefore, a day later, I contacted Playerauction support. They told me that it could take up to 5 days before the payment would be visible in my bank account. If not, I should contact Skrill directly. So i waited for 5 days, nothing happend and I contacted Skrill (twice) and they told me I should get in contact with Playerauctions because Skrill can't do anything about. So I contacted playerauctions again, but now they're not replying to me anymore. I understand it could be because it's busy... I'm just afraid that I'm being scammed.
So the desirable resolution to my complaint would be that the money appears in my bank account. I can't contact Skrill about the issues anymore because they told me Playerauctions has to fix the problem.

LATEST TICKET ID: #901857 - ORDER IS IN DISPUTE OF CANCELLATION ALSO BECAUSE I COULDN'T DISPUTE DELIVERY BECAUSE THEY NEVER DELIVERED.
I didn't reply for a few days because I didn't want this to ruin my Christmas with my family, because frankly the 5-days per reply and lack of customer service and zero competence really appalled me.
After the poor support so far and after leaving 1 star Trust Pilot reviews (which just led to "Richard" attacking & lying to me because he was on social is damning to see from a company, this is why can you please ESCALATE THIS CASE TO A MANAGER/SUPERVISOR.
I will make it very simple and lay it all out in bullet points all the evidence is right in front of you to see:
1. Placed an order with "wowvipshop" "Order ID: 8305961" they were very strange and nagging from the get-go nagging for bank pin etc when told repeatedly I wasn't giving the bank pin. (and waited till I already paid to first mention bank pin, which other sellers have never requested) evan going for as "my team declines to do it without pin".
2. They got about 30% way through the order acting strange about asking me to change password back overnight etc then change back when trainer ready very strange no seller done this before either. TO CONFIRM PASSWORD WAS NEVER CHANGED BECAUSE EVERY SELLER PROTOCOL IS NO CHANGING OR LOGGING IN WHILE ORDER IN PROGRESS NOR DID I EVER CONFIRM PASSWORD WAS CHANGED. ("just do it to playerauctions let them deal with it"
3. In the night I wake up log in Dec 2nd to be at castle wars with OVER 250M GP taken in items/gold.
4. There straight response was after I said why has your trainer hacked me was "cancel the order and let's ask PlayerAuctions to deal with it" "(this is an admission of guilt in its self) his next message was" don't message me anymore "...
5. This seller is clearly regularly hacking people because he has left the order in status" PENDING DELIVERY"THEREFORE I CAN NOT RAISE A DISPUTE VIA THE ORDER PAGE.
6. YOU NEED KNOW MORE EVIDENCE THEN THESE NEXT 2 BULLET POINST" they was the only person on the planet that knew my bank pin they nagged for, and it was sent via "privnote" so for there eyes only.
7. Just a few short days before, FOR THE EXACT SAME OSRS USERNAME - I purchased 300M GP gold from chicks, this is the only account I have and thats all the gold they cook minus just a few million - total hacked over 250MGP.
8. The same & only account I purchsed using your platform 12 months ago for over $450!
Actions needed to be taken:
1. The order needs to be placed into a real dispute from your end manually, as one of your agents kept saying raise a dispute and if they bothered to look they would of seen I cant.
2. Refund the $60 for the order, but also I need to be able to leave this person negative feedback so they cant scam any other of my fellow osrs players in the community.
3. As I have seen and read multiple 1 star negative trust pilot reviews, I know you have the access to add account credit.
4. Please add the appriopite account credit to my playerauctions account so therefore I can re-purchase 250MGP from chicks/mary that was stolen from me.
I would appriecate this done swiftly and in one message, save time on all the back and forth thats needed all photos I have have been uploaded from the items/bank/gp missing.
I will be also forwarding this email to all CEO/directors as I have found their email address's online to hope this speeds things up and understands the seriousness of the situation.

Recently ordered a product and was asked to verify. As a multiple time returning customer, I should not have to send a bunch of nonsense over and over. After numerous emails asking for the same nonsense, I'm still being questioned. Everything is obviously verified. I feel Danna was overly incompetent in their duties and the multiple questioning of the same exact thing is a severe invasion of privacy. When I order something, I expect it to be delivered. As a returning customer on numerous occasions, I should not have to go through a continued hassle of verifying something that is obviously legit and could be verified by a monkey. After sending all the required verification multiple times, I get an email saying the transaction has been canceled because they took too long to verify.

PA - Bought RS account. Recovered 1 month later.
I purchased a Runescape account for $3200 through PlayerAuctions. Everything went smooth and I had access of the account until 1 month after playing. I tried to log in and suddenly the account had been recovered. I filed a dispute and have emailed in all relevant evidence required (Proof via email from the Game publisher) that the account was recovered. The seller deleted their PA account 1 day after. If this isn't clear proof I don't know what is.
I have received no response from PA and this happened over 5 days ago. I am 3200$ Out of pocket with no account that I paid for. I have asked for a full refund and If not paid in full, I will be taking legal action with my personal Lawyer. I will update this when I receive an update.

Lack of communication on id verifications waiting for HOURS
I recently have been making a bunch of purchases for FFXIV, no issues, until recently, i went to the store, bought a visa vanilla gift card, and bought 2 items, about 20 seconds apart, the first one went through with 0 issues and I received my item within minutes, the second one get instantly sent to "id verification required it should take about 30 minutes" its been over 3 hours with no response after i responded to the request within minutes. They simply dont care about there customers.
spent my entire night waiting for a 30 minutes long evaluation. this website sucks straight up. never using again IF I EVEN GET MY ITEM.
Ive read a couple other complaints about people having the same issue. I wont ever be using PA again as other users have mentioned other sites that will actually care about the customers and make sure you get what you pay for and no get possibly scammed by a company who takes AGES to respond and 99% of responses just send you to there FAQ. get it together Player Auctions.

I purchased an account from your site, and after purchasing received an email asking me to verify it was me buying the product, firstly i was all for it, thought great at least they take the time to verify, but 6 pictures later they are still asking for more, from holding my payment card up to pictures of my payment card, bank app receipts apple pay receipts, pictures of my id me holding my id.
As someone who works in law enforcement this is extremely dodgy and a pain. I don't believe it is right to ask this much to verify, i have used less to verify a bank account. Its invasive and having them details shared is risky and should not be practised

I recently purchased a account for my son, however after about ten hours of trying to go through the anti fraud system it asked if my son which was a minor. If he was a minor I said yes to which his account was Suspended.

First of all i had about 1 aud spare after i made the purchase then it asked me to verify my acc and tell me how much i recieved not specifying that i have to convert it to usd from aud because im australian . After it charging me multiple times because i entered to the wrong amount because it didnt specify usd, i then couldnt afford the purchase and had to borrow money off a friend. After all the hassle i went through i finally went to purchase the account i want and it says and i quote"please make sure your card information is correct and has sufficent funds, then try again, if it fails again, use another card or chose another available payment method on playersauctions" the thing is all my details were correct and i used google to convert 298.50usd to 418.24aud to see if i had enough which i did i had an extra 6 $ yet it still didnt work, trying to make this purchase has been the most painful trasaction of my life and i would atleast want my money back from all the verification fees

2nd reply; account had been locked again for the third time and I am waiting for response.
Allthough I must say, it seems like the previous owner did it because the account suddenly got suspended by runescape for suspicion of being hacked following short there-after the fact that the password has been changed by the previous owner. All-In-All not happy at this moment, I feel scammed for 535$ By the seller Thiago_Seller99.
I wish to hear from PlayerAuctions with a solution to this problem as at this moment I do not have my 535$ Or the account (To which I transferred 100M in GP) (I wish to see some kind of compensation or my 100M GP back for this case too). Because it doesn't seem to me that I'll ever have access to that account anymore. The owner seems to also have blocked me from messaging him through your messaging system.
Also addition to that; After my first dispute with this Thiago_Seller99(On the PlayerAuctions site) I am now not able to open a new dispute as after the first dispute Thiago_Seller99 made me believe he was helping me recover the account and get it back to me so I accepted his 'demands'(As the site calls it) for a 0$ Refund (Obviously this is for returning the account to me) But not a day later They recovered the account again and now because of that I can also not open a new dispute.

No the game publisher did not confiscate the account. I purchased a BDO account from playerauctions for 2100dai$ -
as you can see from the photos i deposited it and it went in perfectly, but on their website my payment is still pending.
so i sent in a ticket and they told me to CANCEL it, after paying?! no way! even though i sent in all picture evidence that i did what i needed to.. i have not gotton anymore responses, i am worried that i have just lost all my dai, if thats the case never using them again..

Undesirable behavior
I have been a customer here for over 2 years with 27 completed orders. Verified myself with my ID card before I was able to do an order. Used to pay with skrill on Default. Today I wanted to order again, and the skrill button is removed. Found on the skrill website that they provide a virtual credit card, so I did buy that for 2.50 Euro. Filled in the card number, expire date and CVV code to PlayerAuctions. They removed a small amount from my skrill balance to verify the card. Filled that in, card verify. Next they send me an e-mail "For extra security, we need to make sure it's actually you making this purchase. Please provide the following:"
They want me to send a clear and colored photo of my gouvernment-issued photo id
A clear photo (selfie) while holding that id card next to my head
A photo of the front of the card used for this transaction
A screenshot of my payment receipt
Transaction details and everything.
Why, would I resend a screen of my id, wich I already did upon registering for this site. Or make even a photo with my document and myself? While I have verifyd myself many times already.

Unfair feedback system
If someone gives feedback to Player auction without using it, will that feedback reflect it's service? or will that be fair?
That is what happened with ORDER - 8134347, the buyer bought and canceled after two mins then he given review on a canceled order. how is this fair?
In response to my appeal support says the feedback is for "confirmed completion of an order" but was this order confirmed and completed?
Also they says they cannot withdraw it because "capability of improving satisfaction should be also reflected in the feedback score"
I didn't even gotten chance to message the buyer, what are the ground for me to improve here? or is it reflecting my service in any way?
Finally I think Review on canceled order is not fair, In last 4 year I never seen it in playerauction either maybe it is newly introduced or it is a bug.
I understand review on canceled order is great for buyers but playerauction should prevent misuse of it if they want to enforce it.
Finally the review given my order 8134347 is a prove of misuse of the feedback system and it is definitely not fair.
Desired outcome: at least the withdrawal of the review in that order.

Purchased virtual items from seller APPLEGOLD. Seller had twenty minutes to deliver items as per agreement. Seller fraudulently marked items as delivered without making delivery. Sell then sends message requesting more time so it's obvious seller intentionally lied about delivery. Seller APPLEGOLD then ignores further communication. My credit card has been charged for this fraudulent transaction and my money should be returned. All communication from seller is contained within messages on the playerauctions website and clearly show seller as a fraud. No assistance from playerauctions customer support.
